Abstract

Pendidikan karakter anak memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam membentuk pondasi moral dan etika anak sejak dini. Persoalan yang dihadapi mitra kegiatan yaitu terkait dengan karakter anak yang kurang baik, hal ini banyak penyebabnya salah satunya adalah kurangnya berkomunikasi yang baik antara orang tua dan anak. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan ini adalah karakteristik seorang anak dipengaharui oleh bahasa, karena bahasa atau linguistik merupakan alat yang dipergunakan oleh seorang anak untuk berpikir, berkomunikasi, dan mengekspresikan diri. Peran bahasa bagi anak sangatlah penting terutama untuk berkomunikasi baik secara lisan maupun tulisan, sehingga mampu membentuk karakternya, berbahasa secara baik dan santun dapat menjadi kebiasaan yang dapat membentuk kepribadian seseorang menjadi lebih baik.

Abstract

Stunting is a serious health problem in Indonesia, including in the North Tapanuli region, North Sumatra Province. The root cause of stunting is a lack of understanding of the root causes of stunting itself. This problem is certainly not limited to the task of the Ministry of Health alone, but the existence of the church is very strategic and important for service integration and collaboration. The purpose of this PkM activity is to conduct stunting ambassador cadre formation within the scope of church workers. The ambassadors are given the burden of understanding the root causes of stunting, education on forms of church service related to stunting education, and stunting ambassador cadre formation to the GPP Tapian Nauli Congregation Assembly. The church has an important role in helping to eradicate stunting in North Tapanuli. The church can be a forum for providing education and coaching to congregation members about the importance of balanced nutrition-maternal and child health.

Abstract

Malagufuk Village is known for its potential as a conservation-based birdwatching ecotourism village in natural forests. Through its ecotourism potential, Malagufuk Village is increasingly visited by foreign tourists. Even though the graph shows an increase, researchers found various obstacles based on observations in the field. One of the problems experienced by local tour guides from Malagufuk Village is their low English language skills. This lack of English language skills has limited the ability of tour guides to provide information. tour guide, explaining the uniqueness and ecotourism potential of Malagufuk Village, as well as facilitating smooth interaction between tourists and local residents. The aim of this activity is to improve community welfare and independence through empowerment in the tourism sector. The methods in this activity consist of socialization, training, application of technology, mentoring and evaluation, as well as a desire program. The result of this activity is that the tour guide has weaknesses in speaking good English, then there is no optimization of digital branding. All obstacles found can be overcome with the solutions offered. All the people of Malagufuk Village, especially the administrators and tour guides, can speak English well and are able to carry out digital marketing effectively.

Abstract

ITL Trisakti with several private universities under the coordination of LLDikti III, including Universitas Kristen Indonesia and Universitas Tama Jagakarsa were carried out a community outreach program in Kademangan Village, Cianjur City, aimed at increasing public awareness of disaster risks in the region. The program sought to enhance the community's ability to respond to and evacuate during disasters, emphasize the importance of effective communication in disaster preparedness, and strengthen mitigation efforts. Utilizing the Smart Village Program under the Smart People pillar, the initiative included public education, donation distribution, and the integration of Artificial Intelligence into creative teaching and learning resources for educators from five elementary schools in Kademangan Village. Post-program evaluations indicated that the activities were highly impactful, providing practical self-rescue strategies, increasing knowledge and awareness, and enabling participants to adopt preventive measures before, during, and after natural disasters to safeguard themselves and assist their families and communities.

Abstract

The urban farming training at the Tat Twam Asi Orphanage aims to enhance the skills and knowledge of children in cultivating plants in urban environments. This one-day activity employs methods that include theoretical and practical sessions. In the theoretical session, the children are introduced to the basic concepts of urban farming, including planting techniques and plant care suitable for limited spaces. The training results show that the children successfully applied the techniques they learned and demonstrated a deep understanding of the importance of urban farming in the context of food security, as evidenced by pre-test and post-test questionnaires distributed before and after the training. This program not only provides new knowledge but also fosters a sense of responsibility and environmental awareness among the orphanage children. As a recommendation, continuous training and the addition of supporting facilities could enhance the program's effectiveness in the future.

Abstract

Peace is a universal value that should be instilled from an early age, especially in children as they shape their identities and life principles. By understanding the meaning of peace, children can become positive role models in their communities. The Center for Social Justice and Global Responsibility at LPPM UKI organized a community service initiative titled Kites for Peace in RT 008 and RT 007, RW 010, Cawang Subdistrict, East Jakarta. This initiative aimed to teach children that peace is not merely the absence of violence but also encompasses freedom, happiness, and harmony. The method consisted of two main activities: an interactive lecture encouraging children to understand and find peace in their daily lives and a creative kite-painting session as a medium of expression. The results of the initiative revealed three key findings. First, children were able to define peace based on their own experiences, such as enjoying quiet time reading or sharing toys with friends. Second, they identified ways to create harmony in their environment, including listening to their parents and helping friends in need. Third, they creatively expressed their vision of peace through kite designs, incorporating colors and symbols that reflect their hopes for harmony. Abstract

The Community Service (PKM) activity organized by the Faculty of Law, Dirgantara Marsekal Suryadarma University, focusing on airmanship socialization at PT Halim Mitra Dirgantara, has provided a comprehensive understanding to all staff regarding the importance of implementing flight safety principles in every task. The PKM methodology was carried out through socialization, legal counseling, and continued with a question and answer session with PT Halim Mitra Dirgantara staff. Airmanship is not only limited to checking and supervision, but also includes a deep understanding of the prevailing laws and regulations in Indonesia. Thus, the company's business activities can run in accordance with established safety rules, thereby increasing public trust and maintaining the Company's reputation.

Abstract

The digital literacy skills of MSMEs need to be improved so that MSMEs can increase their product sales through websites. Through websites, MSMEs have control over the sales process. Therefore, this PKM activity is focused on free website design training for the Mustika Farmer Group and its partners in Kamat Jati, East Jakarta. This training is the realization of the MoU of cooperation between the UKI Faculty of Engineering and Kramat Jati Village, East Jakarta in the field of training for the Mustika Farmer Group and partners, in creating websites. This training was held on December 18-19, 2025 at the Mustika RPTRA, Kramat Jati, East Jakarta, attended by 14 participants, which resulted in 6 website designs. This 2-day training received a positive response from participants, who wanted similar training to be held in the future. However, the implementation of this training was not optimal because generally the participants were still classified as newcomers in website design, so they were still confused about starting to design websites again, were not used to surfing the internet, and the training area was near the Halim airport and public sports facilities that were crowded with people, thus disrupting the concentration of the training participants.

Abstract

The process of physical growth and development in children is often disturbed, one of the causes is malnutrition. Another case in the elderly, where problems that often occur besides malnutrition are also mobility disorders. Mobility disorders in the elderly are caused by the elderly worrying about moving their bodies, for this reason, fitness training is needed for the elderly to be able to carry out their daily activities. The purpose of this PkM is to provide balanced nutrition education for children and the elderly and physical exercise to improve elderly fitness. The method used is to provide education (counseling) and fitness practices. The participants who attended amounted to 68 people. The implementation of this community service begins with preparation, namely coordination with partners and the team. The implementation of the service starts from anthropometric examinations; providing education on child and elderly nutrition; fitness training; and giving tokens of appreciation from the service team and partners. The education went well which was marked by the many curiosities of the participants, as well as during the practice of physical exercise, the participants felt that the exercises given could be done easily for elderly people with limited mobility. Providing education and refresher exercises needs to be done regularly, for that the partners can follow up cooperation with facilitators who can guide church health cadres.

Abstract

Kelurahan Kebon Pala merupakan salah satu kelurahan yang berada di kota administrasi Jakarta Timur yang memiliki pos jaga yang berfungsi untuk menjaga keamanan dan ketertiban Kelurahan dan sekitarnya. Saat ini kondisi pos jaga di kelurahan Kebon Pala menggunakan atap dan dinding yang bersifat semi permanen yang rentan terhadap hujan deras dan angin kencang. Diperlukan solusi untuk menyelesaikan masalah tersebut yaitu dengan melakukan re-desain pos jaga. Penerapan Konsep Arsitektur Tradisional Betawi sebagai Upaya Mewujudkan Identitas Kelurahan melalui Re-desain Pos Jaga di Kantor Lurah Kebon Pala bertujuan untuk memberikan identitas yang jelas bagi Kelurahan Kebon Pala dengan menekankan konsep arsitektur tradisional betawi sehingga kontekstual dengan bangunan kantor lurahnya. Metode yaitu dengan mengadakan survey ke lokasi kemudian melakukan pengukuran, setelah pengukuran, diadakan penggambaran eksisting yang dilanjutkan dengan membuat gambar Re-desain Pos Jaga di Kelurahan Kebon Pala kemudian mempresentasikannya kepada Lurah Kebon Pala beserta jajarannya. Gambar re-desain tersebut diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan dan disesuaikan dengan dana dari kelurahan Kebon Pala
