Abstract

The objectives of this research are: to know how big influence on motivation to learn humanisticcounseling on subjects Biology class X grade students of SMAN 1 Lingsar, West Lombok in the academicyear 2016/2017. This type of research, experimental method with quantitative approach. The data collectiontechnique is a method of inquiry as the principal methods and methods of documentation, observation andinterviewing methods/ interview as a complementary method. The statistical analysis used in this research isusing t-test formula. Based on the discussion can be concluded that: there is the influence of humanisticcounseling on motivation to learn in the subjects of biology class X grade students of SMAN 1 Lingsar, WestLombok in the academic year 2016/2017. It can be seen from the results of the study are: t value of 4,131dan ttable value at significance level of 5% with N = 7, is greater than the value t table (4.131> 2.365) so that thereis a relationship that is "significant" between counseling humanistic motivation to learn in the subjects ofbiology class X grade students of SMAN 1 Lingsar, West Lombok in the academic year 2016/2017.

Abstract

This study is aimed to analize the influence of entrepreneurial education and family environment on the entrepreneurial interest of students at STKIP PGRI Jombang. The research method used in this research was a quantitative statistical approach. The population consisted of 6 classes with a total of 266 students who were taken by purposive sampling technique randomly so that the sample amounted to 44 students. Validity test and reliability test were used for instrument testing. This research was conducted by distributing questionnaires to students at STKIP PGRI Jombang who had taken entrepreneurship courses. The data analysis technique used multiple linear regression analysis in the SPSS 20.00 program. The results of the study showed that there was a significant influence between the entrepreneurial education variable (X1) and the family environment (X2) on the students’ interest in entrepreneurship (Y).

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi karakteristik aktivitas berpikir metakognisi dalam konteks sosial yang terlihat selama kegiatan diskusi berlangsung. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan jenis penelitian deskriptif yang mendeskripsikan bagaimana aktivitas berpikir metakognisi siswa dalam konteks sosial ketika melakukan pemecahan masalah matematika dalam kelompok kecil yang terdiri dari 5 siswa dengan tingkat kemampuan yang bervariasi. Instrumen penelitian berupa tes yang terdiri 5 masalah matematika. Kegiatan diskusi dalam kelompok direkam dan selanjutnya dilakukan wawancara tindak lanjut berdasarkan rekaman audiovisual tersebut. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa aktivitas metakognisi siswa pada karakteristik berpikir awareness, regulation dan evaluation siswa dalam konteks sosial mencakup: (1) menyatakan pandangan berbeda, (2) memberikan penjelasan dan (3) mencari kesepakatan. Bagian transkrip hasil wawancara yang paling banyak terlihat dalam konteks sosial adalah mencari kesepakatan sebanyak 56%, menyatakan/ menafsirkan pandangan yang berbeda sebanyak 28%, dan memberikan penjelasan sebanyak 16%.

Abstract

Abstract: Character is inherent and formed in someone. To change the characters, it requires a process. Thehigh school level education psychologically can be claimed as education in changes that is quite heavy. Thelimited number of teachers compared to the number of students, social interaction and situational time hadbeen very possible to be the cause. The implementation of Cobra Therapy (Joint Example of BehaviourRegulation) applied had been in accordance with CBT Methods i.e. an approach to the root of cognitivetherapy (persuasion, challenging, debate, hypothesizing, cognitive restructuring, and internal debate). Theresults of the study obtained that the COBRA therapy program compiled and implemented was as a form ofcoaching efforts that were more intensive and specific to students who had the problems. The implementation of COBRA therapy at SMAN 7 Mataram was very effective as an alternative problem solving for students in improving the character education. Abstrak: Karakter memang sudah melekat dan terbentuk pada diri sesorang. Untuk merubahnya memerlukan proses. Pendidikan pada jenjang SMA, secara psikologis dapat dikatakan sebagai pendidikan pada perubahan yang cukup berat. Terbatasnya jumlah guru dibandingkan dengan jumlah siswa, waktu interaksi dan situasional sosial sangat dimungkinkan sebagai penyebabnya. Pelaksanaan Terapi Cobra (Contoh Bersama Regulasi Ahklak) yang diterapkan sesuai dengan CBT Methods yaitu teknik pendekatan dengan akar terapi kognitif (persuasion, challenging, debate, hypothesizing, cognitive restructuring, and internal debate). Hasil yang didapatkan bahwa program terapi COBRA yang disusun dan dilaksanakan sebagai bentuk upaya pembinaan yang lebih intensif dan spesifik terhadap siswa-siswa yang bermasalah. Pelaksanaan terapi COBRA di SMA Negeri 7 Mataram sangat efektif sebagai alternatif pemecahan masalah siswa dalam meningkatkan pendidikan karakter

Abstract

The aims of this study was to analyze the differences in the exposition writing skills of cadets who taught with the think-pair-share technique and reading interest cadets.This study used an experimental method, in which the experimental group was given treatment with the think-pair-share technique, while the control group was taught without the think-pair-share technique. The two groups were further differentiated based on groups with high and low reading interest. The population in this study were cadets’ level 1 in the first semester at the Cirebon Maritime Academy in the academic year of 2020/2021. The samples are cadets of Nautika 1 as the control class and cadets of Nautika 2 as the experimental class with 25 cadets each. Exposition writing ability data were collected through an exposition writing test while reading interest data were collected by filling out a reading interest questionnaire. The data analysis used was ANOVA with the help of the SPSS program.The conclusion in this study is that the exposition writing ability of cadets who have taught using the think-pair-share technique is better than cadets who taught without it. The exposition writing ability of cadets who have a high reading interest is better than cadets who have a low reading interest. There is an interaction between learning techniques and reading interest in influencing the ability to write exposition.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the implementation of model learning problem based learning in citizenship education of national integrity material to students critical thinking ability. This research uses a quantitative approach. Sample determination using random sampling clusters. This study was imposed on students of the second semester of primary school teacher Education Program, Nusa Cendana University. The selected sample is Class II A as an experimental class of 24 students and class II B as a control class as many as 25 students. The instrument used in the form of observation guidelines and a test is about the description to measure the student's critical thinking ability. Data obtained in the form of pretests and posttest values. The Data was analyzed using SPSS 16.0 to see test normality and test homogeneity as prerequisite test then continued with Test T. Results obtained from the test of normality (Kolmogorov-Smirnov test) is the value of Sig 0138 (> 0.05) which shows the sample data derived from the population of normal and homogeneity test (test Levene) is 0322 (> 0.05) which shows the value of Posttest uniform and the significance value of T-Test 0.000 (< 0.05 Learning problem based learning on the ability of critical thinking.

Abstract

This research aimed to know effectiveness of implementing Guide Reading Model approach based PAIKEM in effort to improve students’ learning activities at second grade students of SD Negeri 4 Kuranji. Significant of this research was to be used as resources and invention in implementing of learning process at real classroom. For teachers it could be used to improve competence in learning process and for students it could be used to improve learning motivation which had impact in improving students’ achievement. This research was conducted in two cycles, acticities in every cycle was planning, acting, observing and reflecting. The result of final acting in cycle II showed that result of teachers’ observation got mean score (4,43) and mean score of students’ observation was (4,29). And result of improving students’ learning activities was improving result of students’ learning which got mean score (80,11), means indicator of completeness (> 75,00) was reached. Because indicator of completeness had proved so research was success and stopped in cycle II.

Abstract

This study aims to describe literacy skills, both mathematical literacy, and language literacy, as well as the self-confidence of junior high school students based on public and private school accreditation. The research method used was a descriptive qualitative. The subjects of this study consisted of 169 students from 7 randomly selected schools. The instruments used were mathematical literacy questions, language literacy questions, and self-confidence questionnaires which were supported by interviews. The data analysis technique used qualitative descriptive analysis. Based on the results of data analysis, it can be concluded: (1) Mathematical literacy skills at state schools with A accreditation were sufficiently able to apply the processes of communication literacy, representation, reasoning, and arguments, devising strategies for solving problems, symbols and formalism. Mathematical literacy at state schools with B accreditation was quite capable of implementing the Mathematising Representation literacy process and devising strategies for solving problems. Mathematical literacy in private schools with A accreditation was quite capable of implementing the devising strategies for solving problems literacy process. And, Mathematical literacy in private schools with B accreditation was quite capable of implementing the communication literacy process. (2) Language literacy skills in public and private schools with A and B accreditation showed the same ability. (3) The self-confidence level of students, both public and private schools based on accreditation A and B, was in the sufficient category, and contributed to students confidence and the quality of education.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using collocation to improve students’ English vocabulary breadth of Akpar Mataram hospitality students. Researcher take 50 students as sample. This study used a quasi-experimental research model with one group pre-test and post-test research design. Based on the result of the t-test paired sample test which calculated with SPSS, it was obtained that the result showed the sig. value (2-tailed) was 0.000 with 5% probability. The sig. value is smaller than 0.005. So it can be said that there is an effect of using collocation to improve students’ vocabulary of AKPAR Mataram.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the implementation of character education management and to find out the barrier factors in implementing the character education at Universitas Pamulang. This research applied qualitative approach. The subjects of this research involved the foundation, rector, team of vice rector III, lecturers, and students of Universitas Pamulang. The technique of data collection was observation, document analyses, and interviews. The technique of data analysis referred to interactive model data analysis, which is triangulation. The findings of the implementation of character education management were as follow: First, the planning to grow shared awareness and to equalize the perception on the importance of value or character integration. Second, organizing the distributions of tasks, authorities, and responsibilities to the whole lecturers, especially the lecturers of religion subject and the team of Vice Rector III. Third, mobilizing the academic, non-academic activities; ways and processes to improve the activities. Fourth, controlling; observing what have been achieved and felt by the implementation of character education by the foundation, rector, all lecturers, team of Vice Rector III, religion subject lecturers, and students. Meanwhile, there was a barrier in implementing the character education management at Universitas Pamulang. This barrier regarding limited human resources that actively implemented the existing programs.
