Abstract

This study aims to develop a model of school cooperation with parents and religious leaders applied to rural areas, where teachers and religious leaders have a strong influence. This collaboration contains interactive monitoring activities, home learning care, religious leaders' involvement, and students' active participation in classroom learning. The method used in this study is RnD, developed by Gall & Gall., et. al. The instrument validity test was carried out by using the Rcount : Rtable, resulting 0.468. Reliability tests were performed with Alpha Chrombach Estimate, resulting in a reliability coefficient value 0.755. The validity of the contents of the instrument is obtained through the assessment of experts and practitioners. The model's construct validity was tested with the Pearson Correlation Test, while the  effectiveness of the model was tested with the Wilcoxon Test and N-Gain The results of limited tests conducted at SD Inpres Workwana, SD Inpres Pir 2, and SD YPPK Dunumamoy, Keerom Regency, show that the IGOPA model can increase students' active participation in learning. Wilcoxon's test results between before and after the implementation of the IGOPA cooperation model showed significant results, namely the average attendance increased by 25.42%, and the completion of working on tasks increased by 13.28%. The effectiveness of the IGOPA Partnership model yields a value of 0.676 on the N-Gain scale, which means the degree of its significance is medium. The model is only tested in a limited rural area in the Regency of Keerom. It  needs testing in a wider context for its greater validity and effectivity.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a writing design for an anthology of stories of the prophets and companions to support the implementation of a prophetic character education program in elementary schools. The method used was the ADDIE research and development model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). The subjects of this study were students at two elementary schools in Jakarta. Research instruments were in the form of interviews, questionnaires, and documentation. The data analysis technique used was descriptive analysis. The results of this study indicated that through literacy, reading and writing anthology books about the stories of the prophets and companions could develop the prophetic character of elementary school students. The anthology book of the stories of the prophets and companions underwent several trials and revisions before it was declared eligibility. The percentage before the eligibility revision was 66%, then after revision it becomes 98% feasibility of an anthology book of stories of the prophets and companions. Based on student responses, it produced a percentage of 90%, so that the book can be categorized as very practical and very effective for implementation in elementary schools. In the anthology book on the stories of the prophet and companions, there are four prophetic characters that are expected to be implemented in the daily lives of elementary school students, including the characters fatahan (smart), amanah (trustworthy), shidiq (honest), and tabligh (communicative).

Abstract

This study aims to reveal the islamic classroom management model in Thai Elementary Schools. This study was a case study to find deeper and comprehend a phenomenon of managing classrooms in Thailand’s lower primary school, Saengshatta. This study data were from observing four classes (year 1 to year 4) in the school, interviews with teachers and principals, and documenting the physical aspect of management. The data were gathered based on Kellough and Kellough’s practical classroom principles. The data were analyzed using Kellough’s theory by selecting the data into three categories; the plan, the setup, the evaluation, and transforming it into a conclusion. This study revealed that the Saengshatta school applied Islamic values to organizing and conducting the classroom. The organizing is shown by the lay-outing of the class based on the shape of the class; the group made, the individual weekly checking up of the students, the rules and obligations created to manage the time for the teachers and the students, and the learning media were contextualized into Islamic values. Islamic values are integrated into many approaches such as power, threat, freedom, recipe, teaching, group process, and pluralism. The model that Saengshatta applied were humanistic, democratic, and behavioristic.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the importance of emotional, spiritual intelligence, and Self Efficacy on the performance of school principals in Sekolah Penggerak that use the Merdeka curriculum. Based on initial observations, it was found that there was a lack of emotional and spiritual intelligence in the principal, which hindered the effectiveness of the process of implementing the self-development of a principal. This study used the literature review method. The instruments used were national and international journals, reference books, and unstructured interviews for analysis using thematic analysis. The results showed that the Sekolah Penggerak was an effort to improve the quality of schools through holistic learning outcomes starting with High-Quality Human Resources (principals and teachers). Improvements were made through 5 interventions to schools to increase the capacity of Human Resources. Self-efficacy as part of emotional and spiritual intelligence can form school principals as leaders, planners, supervisors to evaluators in schools who are confident and think ahead. This intelligence can make a school principal confident in planning work programs, strongly committed, able to carry out programs well, and collaborate with teachers and administrative staff to achieve the school's goal of producing students to become Pancasila student profiles.
