Abstract

Climate change poses a significant threat to environmental sustainability, public health, and economic development, particularly in vulnerable countries like Indonesia. As a nation rich in natural resources and biodiversity, Indonesia plays a crucial role in global climate mitigation efforts. This study examines the role of environmental law in addressing climate change in Indonesia, with a specific focus on the enforcement and compliance mechanisms within the national legal framework. Using a qualitative socio-legal approach, the study analyzes legislative documents, policy reports, and court decisions, complemented by interviews with government officials, legal experts, and civil society organizations. The findings reveal that while Indonesia has enacted a comprehensive set of environmental laws aligned with international commitments such as the Paris Agreement, the implementation remains weak due to institutional fragmentation, limited enforcement capacity, and low compliance among corporate and community actors. Civil society plays a vital role in bridging enforcement gaps, although challenges persist in ensuring judicial independence and equitable access to justice. The study concludes that enhancing legal enforcement, institutional coordination, and public participation is essential for strengthening Indonesia’s environmental governance and achieving its climate objectives.

Abstract

Based on the results and discussion, this study concludes that financial technology utilization, working capital management, and financial resilience each have a positive and significant impact on the sustainability of MSMEs during periods of economic uncertainty. The findings highlight that MSMEs that actively adopt digital financial tools, manage their short-term finances efficiently, and develop strong financial resilience are better equipped to withstand and adapt to external shocks such as economic downturns, inflation, and market disruptions. Among the three factors, financial resilience emerged as the most influential, underscoring the critical role of strategic preparedness, adaptability, and financial buffers in ensuring business continuity. These results reinforce the theoretical perspective of the Resource-Based View (RBV), which emphasizes the importance of internal capabilities as sources of sustainable advantage. Therefore, strengthening digital adoption, financial management practices, and resilience-building efforts should be prioritized by MSME stakeholders, including policymakers, financial institutions, and business support organizations to enhance long-term survival and performance in an increasingly volatile economic environment.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of green innovation, cost efficiency, and government incentives on the financial sustainability of eco-conscious Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach and survey data collected from 200 MSMEs engaged in sustainable practices, the study employs multiple linear regression analysis with SPSS to test three proposed hypotheses. The results reveal that all three independent variables have a positive and significant impact on financial sustainability. Green innovation enables firms to differentiate their products, improve resource use, and access green markets. Cost efficiency enhances financial performance through waste reduction and operational optimization. Meanwhile, government incentives play a vital role in supporting sustainable initiatives by reducing financial and technical barriers. These findings underscore the strategic importance of integrating internal capabilities and external support to achieve long-term sustainability and competitiveness for MSMEs. The study contributes to the theoretical development of sustainable entrepreneurship and provides practical recommendations for managers and policymakers in emerging economies.

Abstract

In the aftermath of global crises such as the COVID-19 pandemic, start-up resilience has become a central concern for entrepreneurs and scholars alike. This study investigates the roles of resourcefulness, market responsiveness, and digital pivoting in shaping the resilience of start-ups in a post-crisis environment. Drawing upon a quantitative survey of 210 start-up founders across Indonesia, data were analyzed using multiple linear regression via SPSS. The findings reveal that resourcefulness, market responsiveness, and digital pivoting each have a significant and positive effect on start-up resilience, with digital pivoting emerging as the most influential predictor. These results highlight the necessity for start-ups to foster dynamic capabilities and embrace digital transformation as strategic responses to environmental uncertainty. This study offers theoretical and practical implications for building adaptive capacity in start-up ecosystems, especially in emerging markets facing frequent disruptions.

Abstract

Parents must record the birth of their child, as it is a legal requirement for citizens to have their births registered. By the applicable Law, this recording is carried out through a specific procedure and archived in a sheet that is then known as the "Birth Certificate". This birth certificate marks the beginning of a person's registration in the eyes of the Law in Indonesia. A child needs a status that is listed on a birth certificate, indicating that he is a legal child of parents whose names are also listed on the birth certificate. The purpose of this research is to find out and analyze the implementation of the policy of issuing Birth Certificates and the factors that are obstacles to the implementation of the policy of issuing Birth Certificates. This research method is normative because it is the starting point of existing legal regulations. Research Results: Many couples still do not have a marriage book (Nikah Siri). Marriage under the hand is still not recognized by formal Law because it is not recorded in the KUA or Civil Registry. Not recording the marriage will have an impact on the status of the child, because it will be considered a child out of wedlock, meaning that the child does not have a legal relationship with his father. Children resulting from serial marriages or outside of legal marriage can indeed obtain a birth certificate

Abstract

This community service initiative was designed with three primary objectives: (1) to enhance the creativity and teaching competencies of teachers and educational staff at SMP PGRI 12 Jakarta; (2) to improve teaching performance through the utilization of immersive virtual space technologies; and (3) to expand the pedagogical insights of educators by integrating immersive virtual environments into the learning process. The program was implemented in three distinct phases: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. A total of 30 participants engaged in the program, demonstrating high levels of enthusiasm and active participation. Preliminary assessments and discussions with the partner institution revealed several challenges, primarily related to the suboptimal use of digital technologies in classroom settings. Although educators had adopted basic tools such as Zoom, Google Meet, and Google Classroom, the transition to more advanced digital platforms required by Industry 5.0 remains inadequate. Many teachers appeared unprepared for the rapidly evolving technological landscape. As a response, this initiative introduced immersive virtual space technologies—particularly through metaverse-based learning platforms—as innovative tools to support and enhance interactive learning. The training facilitated a shift in perception among the teachers, who began to recognize the importance and potential of immersive technology in future education. The program successfully demonstrated that metaverse integration can significantly contribute to creative, effective, and engaging pedagogical practices.

Abstract

Ecocide, as a massive and far-reaching environmental crime, is gaining increasing attention in various countries including Indonesia. However, Indonesian national law has not explicitly regulated ecocide as a stand-alone crime. In this context, administrative law theory, particularly the Precautionary Principle, plays an important role in formulating legal policies that are responsive to environmental threats. This research uses a normative juridical method with a statutory approach and a conceptual approach. This article analyzes the legal construction of ecocide in Indonesia using the Precautionary Principle theory as an analytical knife to explore whether the current legal policy is sufficient in preventing and overcoming environmental crimes. The results of the research show that there are still many laws and regulations that were born without paying attention to the precautionary principle. This analysis concludes with recommendations for the establishment of more comprehensive ecocide regulations to provide more effective legal protection for the environment.
