Abstract

Nurses’ caring behavior in providing nursing care to patients plays a crucial role in enhancing the quality of nursing services and ensuring patient safety, which in turn contributes to patient recovery. However, in practice, the delivery of high-quality nursing services is still hindered by the prevalence of non-caring behaviors in patient care. Therefore, concrete measures are required to reduce such behaviors by strengthening organizational commitment, effective communication, and the work environment, thereby fostering caring behavior among nurses. This study aimed to examine the influence of organizational commitment, effective communication, and the work environment on nurses’ caring behavior. A non-experimental, cross-sectional research design was employed. The analysis focused on measuring the extent to which independent variables affect the dependent variable. Data were analyzed using Multiple Linear Regression with the assistance of statistical software. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires distributed to inpatient nurses at Annisa Hospital Cikarang. The study population consisted of 95 nurses, with a final sample of 49 respondents. The statistical analysis was carried out using SPSS Version 24.0. The findings revealed that: (1) organizational commitment significantly influenced caring behavior (t = -2.751, p = 0.009 < 0.05); (2) effective communication significantly influenced caring behavior (t = 2.181, p = 0.034 < 0.05); (3) the work environment significantly influenced caring behavior (t = 3.365, p = 0.002 < 0.05); and (4) organizational commitment, effective communication, and the work environment collectively had a significant effect on caring behavior (F = 91.364, p = 0.000 < 0.05). In conclusion, organizational commitment, effective communication, and the work environment together account for 85.9% of the variance in nurses’ caring behavior, while the remaining 14.1% is explained by other factors not examined in this study. It is therefore recommended that reinforcement strategies be implemented to strengthen nurses’ caring behavior, particularly in inpatient care settings, by enhancing organizational commitment, improving communication effectiveness, and optimizing the work environment to foster positive caring practices.

Abstract

This study examines a comparative analysis of financial institution supervision and state investment management between Indonesia and Singapore, focusing on the Indonesia Investment Authority (Danantara) and Temasek Holdings. The objective of this research is to identify the legal frameworks governing both entities and to analyze the fundamental differences in supervisory approaches, governance structures, and public accountability mechanisms. The research employs a normative juridical method using statute, conceptual, and comparative approaches, supported by the analysis of primary and secondary legal materials. The findings indicate that Indonesia applies a fragmented supervisory system in which the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and Bank Indonesia divide microprudential and macroprudential functions, while Danantara operates as a sovereign investment entity separate from the regulators. In contrast, Singapore adopts an integrated risk-based supervisory model through the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and establishes strategic synergy with Temasek Holdings, which is managed professionally under strong corporate governance principles, high transparency, and public accountability. The study concludes that Singapore’s model is more adaptive to global dynamics through the integration of supervisory functions and state asset management, whereas Indonesia needs to strengthen inter-institutional coordination, consistently implement risk-based supervision, and enhance the governance and transparency of Danantara. The Temasek model may serve as a reference for reinforcing Indonesia’s legal framework and improving the effectiveness of sovereign investment management.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the use of notarial deeds in banking practice because notarial deeds have the position of authentic deeds. One form of using a notarial deed in banking practice is the use of a notarial deed in the form of a debt acknowledgment deed. The legal research method used in this research is normative juridical research which is research carried out or aimed only at written regulations with the nature of descriptive analysis research which is a method that functions to describe or provide an overview of the object being studied. The data source used is secondary data with quantitative data analysis. The results of this research are that the legal strength of the executorial title in the debt acknowledgment deed aligns the debt acknowledgment deed with the court decision. The executorial title or irah-irah gives the authority to carry out executions without having to go through a court decision, but the execution is carried out by asking for court assistance or what is called fiat execution. With the existence of an executorial title which aligns the debt acknowledgment deed with a court decision that has legal force permanent (inkarcht van gewidje), the authority of the notary in including the executive title in the debt acknowledgment deed is regulated in Article 57 UUJN, the person with the authority to issue the grosse deed is the notary. The implementation of Executorial Title in Banking Practice is carried out on Debtors who are in default and cannot fulfill their obligations to pay debts according to the time period agreed in the credit agreement and become bad debts, then the bank as creditor has the right to recover its receivables by carrying out fiat execution on collateral objects that have been encumbered with mortgage rights.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of online registration service quality on the satisfaction of BPJS outpatients at RSUD Ciamis, with perceived ease of use as a mediating variable. The research is motivated by the low utilization of the online registration system, despite RSUD Ciamis implementing two digital platforms: RSUD Ciamis Mobile (June 2023–May 2024) and JKN Mobile (June 2024–present). Challenges such as limited registration quotas, disorganized queues, and the dominance of elderly patients preferring onsite registration serve as the main focus of this research. A quantitative approach was employed with a cross-sectional survey design. The sample consisted of 96 BPJS outpatients who had used online registration, selected through quota sampling. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression and the Sobel test. The results reveal that online registration service quality significantly affects perceived ease of use and patient satisfaction. Moreover, perceived ease of use has a significant direct effect on satisfaction and serves as a significant mediator between service quality and patient satisfaction. These findings emphasize that perceived ease of use is a crucial determinant in optimizing patient experiences with digital health services. The study recommends strengthening patient education, developing elderly-friendly features, and conducting regular evaluations of digital system effectiveness to ensure sustainable improvements in service quality.

Abstract

This research investigates how both lecturers and students perceive written feedback during thesis writing, as well as the stress such feedback may cause students. Employing a qualitative content analysis approach, the study examined thesis drafts enriched with written feedback, along with questionnaires and interviews conducted with four lecturers and eight students. Findings reveal that lecturers and students share similar perceptions regarding feedback delivery, focus on content, grammar correction, clarity, and timing. However, differences emerged concerning the use of marks, the imbalance of positive and negative feedback, errors in feedback, and insufficient psychological consideration, three of which were identified as sources of stress for students. The study recommends further exploration of effective written communication strategies to reduce stress in the thesis-writing process.
