Abstract

This study examines the legal and financial implications of Indonesia’s recognition of sole proprietorships as a new legal entity under the Job Creation Law for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs). While this status facilitates business establishment and access to funding, it raises risks for creditor protection due to weak legal and financial safeguards. Using a non-doctrinal, empirical juridical approach through interviews and legal analysis, the research identifies key challenges: MSME actors’ limited legal awareness, creditors’ restricted access to financial information, poor separation of personal and business assets, and inefficiencies in the judicial system. These conditions heighten creditor vulnerability in cases of insolvency. The study recommends strengthening regulations, improving legal education for MSMEs, enhancing financial transparency, and empowering relevant institutions to ensure fairer creditor protection and a more sustainable business climate, particularly in Labuan Bajo.

Abstract

The development of Indonesia’s economy cannot be separated from the role of financial institutions, particularly Rural Banks (Bank Perkreditan Rakyat/BPR), which focus on financing the lower-middle-income sectors. One of BPR’s featured products is the Teacher Professional Allowance (TPG) credit, which uses teachers’ certification allowances as collateral for repayment. This study examines the implementation of TPG credit at PT BPR Aruna Nirmaladuta, analyzes the factors contributing to non-performing loans, and explores the legal measures taken to resolve them. The research employs an empirical legal method with statutory, conceptual, and field approaches through interviews and document studies. The findings indicate that TPG credit defaults are influenced by internal factors, such as inadequate creditworthiness analysis, and external factors, such as delays in the government’s disbursement of the TPG funds. Resolution efforts are conducted through restructuring, mediation, and litigation to ensure legal certainty and protection for both parties.

Abstract

Parents play an important role in preparing the golden generation to uphold Pancasila values as an integral part of promoting local wisdom. This study used a qualitative approach, a method that produces descriptive data in the form of written and spoken words obtained from the behavior of the people observed. The term descriptive here refers to efforts to collect data aimed at providing accurate interpretations, thereby obtaining a clear picture of the events being studied. Early childhood tends to imitate the behavior of adults around them, especially parents. Therefore, the appropriateness of the values taught greatly affects the effectiveness of the value instillation process. Each principle of Pancasila can be introduced to children through simple but meaningful activities. The discussion revealed that parents play a role in instilling the values of Pancasila in children through the following applications: (1) Inviting children to do activities together, such as inviting them to pray together at the mosque accompanied by both parents. (2) Setting an example for children in applying Pancasila values in daily life, so that children imitate the behavior exemplified by their parents. (3) Accustoming children to practicing Pancasila values in daily life, so that children become accustomed to doing so without coercion from their parents.

Abstract

This research departs from the limited study of legal protection for online business actors from the perspective of Sharia economic law, even though this issue has a strategic role in the development of the digital economy in Indonesia. The purpose of the research is to analyze the implementation of legal protection, identify obstacles and solutions, examine the integration of Sharia principles in regulations, and explore the prospects of Sharia-based digital legal development. The method used is qualitative with a juridical-normative and descriptive-analytical approach. Data was obtained through literature studies, interviews, observations, and documentation, and then analyzed thematically. The results of the study show that regulations are still fragmented and consumer-oriented, so that the protection of Islamic business actors is not proportional. The challenges that arise include low digital legal literacy, limited legal infrastructure, and disharmony between the DSN-MUI fatwa and national law. The research concludes the need for regulatory reform through legal harmonization, institutional synergy, and the establishment of special regulators. Research contributions include strengthening the legal literature on digital Sharia economics as well as practical recommendations for policymakers.

Abstract

The purpose of this study describes the impact of local wisdom Ngaha Aina Ngoho  as the local cultural identity of the Bima community in preserving the environment from an ecoregion perspective. The research method used is the empirical legal method, which emphasizes the validity of the Bima Mayor's program with the Bima Bisa City Program (Clean, Beautiful, Healthy and Asri) and the Decree of the Mayor of Bima Number 33 of 2017 concerning Mutual Cooperation. The impact of local wisdom Ngaha Aina Ngoho  as the local cultural identity of the Bima community provides positive results, including an increase in public awareness of preserving a clean environment. In addition, the Bima Bisa City program increases public awareness in disposing of garbage in its place and cleaning the environment. The Bima City program can provide community enthusiasm in carrying out mutual cooperation. In addition, collaboration between the government and indigenous communities and formal legal recognition of Ngaha Aina Ngoho  are still minimal. Strategic efforts are needed to strengthen regulations, environmental education based on local culture, and the involvement of traditional leaders in policy formulation.

Abstract

Background: The Hospital Management Information System (HMIS) is a crucial component in enhancing the quality of healthcare services. The successful implementation of HMIS largely depends on the acceptance and actual use by healthcare professionals. Objective: This study aims to analyze the determinants influencing the acceptance and utilization of HMIS at the Prof. Dr. Moestopo Dental and Oral Teaching Hospital, using the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) framework. Methods: This study employed a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The study population consisted of 182 individuals, from which 122 young dentists were selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected using a validated and reliable questionnaire. The data analysis involved bivariate tests (Chi-Square), Spearman correlation, and multivariate logistic regression analysis. Results: Perceived Usefulness (PU), Perceived Ease of Use (PEOU), and Attitude Toward Use (ATU) significantly influenced the actual use of HMIS, while Behavioral Intention (BI) showed no significant effect. Conclusion: The successful use of HMIS is determined by perceived usefulness, ease of use, and user attitudes toward the system. Recommendations: Strengthening these determinants through continuous dissemination of HMIS benefits, sustained training programs, and enhanced motivation among healthcare professionals is essential to improve system utilization.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the forms and characteristics of family resource management patterns in the context of children in conflict with the law (CCL) in nodal areas, as well as to examine the factors influencing their effectiveness in the child’s recovery and social reintegration processes. Employing a qualitative approach within the family sociology paradigm and Bronfenbrenner’s social ecology theory, the research was conducted in densely populated urban nodal regions such as East Jakarta and North Jakarta. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with 15 families of CCL, correctional officers (BAPAS), social workers, and community leaders, supported by field observations and documentation. The findings reveal three major family resource management patterns: (1) reactive-survival, characterized by short-term efforts focused on meeting basic needs; (2) adaptive-restructuring, reflecting the family’s ability to reorganize roles and social resources; and (3) participatory-restorative, emphasizing collaboration with communities and institutions in the child’s recovery process. The effectiveness of family resource management is influenced by six main factors: economic conditions, family structure, communication patterns, social support, the quality of the nodal environment, and public policy. The study concludes that family resource management functions as an adaptive and protective social mechanism determining the success of child recovery and family resilience amid the structural pressures of nodal urban areas.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Jambi Provincial Regulation Number 5 of 2020 on Waste Management from a juridical perspective and to assess its effectiveness in achieving sustainable waste governance. The research employs a normative juridical approach by examining legal frameworks, documents, and secondary data related to the implementation of the regulation. Findings reveal that although the regulation comprehensively delineates the responsibilities of local governments, communities, and business actors, its implementation remains hampered by weak institutional coordination, limited infrastructure, and low public legal awareness. Therefore, improving inter-agency coordination, providing adequate waste management facilities, and enforcing legal sanctions consistently are crucial steps toward achieving effective and sustainable waste management.

Abstract

Smoking behavior on public roads poses a dual threat to public health and traffic safety. This study examines the juridical relationship between the implementation of Regional Regulation Number 3 of 2017 on Smoke-Free Areas (Kawasan Tanpa Rokok) and Law Number 22 of 2009 on Road Traffic and Transportation concerning the regulation of smoking behavior on public roads. Using a juridical-normative approach with qualitative descriptive analysis, this study explores the harmony and challenges of both legal instruments in protecting the public from smoking-related risks. The findings indicate that both regulations share the same preventive objective—protecting the public from the negative effects of smoking and reducing traffic risks caused by driver distraction. However, implementation remains weak due to low public awareness, insufficient coordination between law enforcement agencies, and limited supervision. The study concludes that the effectiveness of these regulations depends on strengthening inter-institutional collaboration, integrating enforcement mechanisms, and enhancing public education to foster compliance. The synchronization of health and transportation law enforcement is essential to realize safer and healthier public spaces.
