Abstract

Radicalism makes religion a propaganda tool for social change or drastic political reform by using violent means. The value of moderate Islam is important to be applied to realize the moderate attitude of students. The research was conducted using an approach with the type of field research at MTs Ma'arif NU 05 Majasari which is one of the educational institutions under NU, has a spirit in realizing moderate Islam. The results of this study reveal that; 1) the formation of moderate attitudes begins with a moderate understanding of Islam in line with the values of Islam Rahmatan lil Alamin, 2) Ke-NU-an learning contains the content of moderate Islamic values taught, namely tawasuth, tawazun, i'tidal, and tasamuh. The learning process is not only taught theoretically but also applicatively through practices that are in line with the value of religious moderation, Students' moderate character formation is carried out not only in learning but also through extracurricular activities, religious habituation, group learning strategies, exemplary approaches, motivation and compassion. This research makes a real contribution to the development of an educational model that is able to produce young people who are ready to face global challenges with a moderate attitude through specialty curriculum content.

Abstract

In the era of globalization, education plays a crucial role in shaping the character of a nation that is strong and has integrity. This article discusses the importance of reformulating the education system with a focus on building the nation's character. The aim is to face emerging challenges, such as the moral crisis, the negative influence of globalization, and significant social changes. Through a literature approach, this article explores the strategic directions that need to be taken in the process of reformulating character education, including the integration of moral and ethical values into the curriculum, the development of a positive school culture, and the increased participation of parents and communities in character education. This approach is expected to create an education system that not only produces intellectually intelligent individuals, but also those with strong character, responsibility, and the ability to contribute positively to nation building.

Abstract

Penelitian ini tentang implementasi pemenuhan hak Pendidikan warga binaan di Kampus Kehidupan Lapas Pemuda Kelas II A Kota Tangerang. Lembaga Pemasyarakatan yang disingkat Lapas kini telah mendapatkan penyegaran dan perubahan diberbagai aspek diantaranya adalah sistem pemasyarakatan tidak lagi dipandang sebagai tempat dihukumnya para narapidana dengan momok yang menakutkan menyeramkan sekaligus terkesan angker. Lembaga Pemasyarakatan kini menjadi sebuah tempat yang bertransformasi menjadi pusat pengembangan Pendidikan dan pembinaan. Hal ini dilakukan agar warga binaan mendapatkan kembali kepercayaan diri agar kelak dapat diterima di tengah masyarakat dan menjadi pribadi yang lebih baik setelah dibina, dididik dan dilatih melalui program yang ada di lapas. Salah satu program Pendidikan dan pembinaan di lapas adalah kampus kehidupan, program ini menjadi bukti penyelenggaraan Pendidikan menjadi hak bagi semua warga negara tanpa terkecuali mereka yang menjalani masa hukuman di dalam lapas. melalui program ini diharapkan menumbuhkan rasa percaya diri mahasiswa dan menjadi bekal kelak saat mereka Kembali ke tengah-tengah masyarakat. Melalui program ini juga mereka akan mendapatkan gelar sarjana di balik jeruji besi.

Abstract

This research aims to know how the model of constructivism learning and humanism approach may equip the learning psychology among the students at the puberty age. In which the involvement of students in learning could affect in learning outcomes. A part of it, how the understanding of students’ psychology will help teachers to adjust themselves. This research is a qualitative research with a description method, and this research took place at Smart Ekselensia Junior High School. Data collecting is conducted through observation, interview and documentation. Data validity conducts through triangulation whether technic or the resources. Data analysis is done by collecting data, data reduction, data presented, taking conclusion and verification. Research results show that (1) a model of constructivism learning and humanism approach increased the positive impact at puberty age, such as addressing students’ curiosity and their willingness to try something new. (2) By understanding students’ psychology, teacher may adjust themselves in learning process and also equip the learning outcomes cognitively, affectively and psychomotor.

Abstract

One of the negative impacts of globalization is the erosion of moral values and ethics among students. Globalization is marked by advances in information technology and its various products. The implementation of the Hidden Curriculum (HC) in Islamic Education (PAI) is one of the efforts to preserve moral values and ethics among students. The HC practice at TEC involves instilling discipline and religious awareness. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The informants in this study are teachers and course participants. The researcher plays a key role as the main instrument, engaging directly in data collection at the research site. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and document studies. HC PAI practices are carried out in two ways: first, by instilling discipline and second, by promoting religious awareness. This study contributes significantly to improving the ethics of course participants, both in their interactions with peers, teachers, and their parents at home.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk membuktikan pegaruh positif atau negative keteladanan guru terhadap kedisiplinan siswa di SMAN 4 Tangsel. Pendekatan yang digunakan pada penelitian ialah pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisa regresi linier sederhana dalam menjawab hipotesis. Sampel menerapkan sistem simple random sampling. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang signifikan antara keteladanan guru terhadap kedisiplinan siswa di SMAN 4 Tangsel. Hal ini terlihat pada pengujian statistik menghasilkan uji ANOVA dengan nilai signifikansi 0,000 < nilai alpha atau 0,05. Selain itu, hasil uji parsial (uji t) meghasilkan t-hitung sebesar 6,261 > t-tabel yaitu 1,996.

Abstract

Peningkatan mutu pendidikan nasional telah dilakukan dengan perbaikan kurikulum, peningkatan mutu pendidik, penyediaan sarana dan prasarana, perbaikan kesejahteraan guru, perbaikan organisasi sekolah, perbaikan manajemen, pengawasan dan perundang-udangan. Tujuan penelitian yaitu: 1) analisis dan deskripsi implementasi manajemen pembelajaran; 2) analisis dan deskripsi standar mutu pendidikan yang diterapkan; dan 3) analisis dan deskripsi hasil implementasi manajemen pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMA Negeri Bandarkedungmulyo Jombang. Hasil penelitian yaitu: 1) Implementasi manajemen pembelajaran di SMA Negeri Bandarkedungmulyo Jombang menerapkan teori menurut Rusman (2012) ada 3 indikator dalam Manajemen pembelajaran yaitu perencanaan pembelajaran, pelaksanaan pembelajaran, dan penilaian hasil pembelajaran; 2) Standar mutu pendidikan yang diterapkan Di SMA Negeri Bandarkedungmulyo Jombang telah didasarkan dan sesuai dengan Peraturan Pemerintah Nomor 57 Tahun 2021 tentang Standar Nasional Pendidikan dimana standar mutu pendidikan terdiri dari delapan standar nasional pendidikan yaitu : standar isi, standar pengelolaan, standar penilaian, standar pembiayaan, standar pendidik dan tenaga kependidikan, standar proses, standar kompetensi lulusan, dan standar sarana prasarana; dan 3) Terkait implementasi manajemen pembelajaran dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan di SMA Negeri Bandarkedungmulyo Jombang di mana sekolah berfokus kepada tiga Standar Nasional Pendidikan yaitu Standar Proses, Standar Kompetensi Lulusan dan Standar Sarana Prasarana dengan memiliki beberapa program kebijakan untuk mendapatkan output pendidikan yang bermutu.

Abstract

Pendidikan anak usia dini (PAUD) memiliki peran yang sangat penting dalam perkembangan anak, terutama dalam membentuk karakter dan kualitas hidup anak usia dini. Filsafat pendidikan anak usia dini menjadi dasar yang esensial dalam merumuskan tujuan dan strategi pendidikan. Penelitian ini bersifat kualitatif. Teknik yang digunakan dalam analisis penelitian ini menggunakan metode content analysis. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian filsafat pendidikan dengan jenis penelitian pustaka. Artikel ini membahas tentang filsafat pendidikan anak usia dini dalam perspektif Ibnu Sina, seorang filsuf Islam yang terkenal di bidang kedokteran, namun juga memberikan kontribusi yang besar dalam pemikiran pendidikan Islam. Ibnu Sina memandang manusia sebagai makhluk yang terdiri dari jasad dan nafs. Oleh sebab itu, pendidikan harus mewujudkan keseimbangan dalam pengembangan antara fisik dan spiritual. Ibnu Sina menekankan begitu pentingnya pengembangan akal yang dilakukan melalui pendidikan moral dan afektif pada anak usia dini, serta pemilihan metode yang sesuai, seperti: mengajarkan pendidikan agama pada usia 3 (tiga) sampai 5 (lima) tahun dan memberikan pembelajaran dasar lainnya pada usia 6 (enam) sampai 14 (empat belas) tahun. Pendidikan yang seimbang antara jasmani dan rohani, melalui kegiatan seperti olah raga dan kesenian, adalah kunci dalam membentuk karakter anak usia dini. Ibnu Sina juga mengusulkan pendekatan pembelajaran yang melibatkan metode bercanda atau belajar sambil bermain untuk merangsang perkembangan kognitif, sosial, dan emosional anak usia dini. Dalam kurikulum pendidikan, Ibu Sina berpendapat bahwa guru harus menjadi teladan yang memiliki kompetensi pedagogik, moral, dan spiritual. Melalui pendekatan yang holistik ini, pandangan Ibnu Sina menawarkan kontribusi yang signifikan terhadap pengembangan pendidikan anak usia dini, terutama dalam konteks pendidikan yang berlandaskan pada nilai-nilai agama dan karakter.

Abstract

This study investigates the role of role-play activities in enhancing vocabulary acquisition and communicative competence among language learners, within the framework of Task-Based Language Teaching (TBLT). The research involved 16 EFL students who participated in role-play scenarios designed to simulate real-life interactions. Data were collected through role-play scripts, classroom observations, and reflective surveys to assess improvements in vocabulary use, pronunciation, fluency, and confidence. The findings reveal that role-play significantly enriches learners' vocabulary, enabling them to effectively use functional language in everyday contexts, such as asking for directions. Learners encountered at least 71 new vocabulary items and utilized 20 expressions for practical communication. Role-play also improved pronunciation and fluency by encouraging spontaneous dialogue and prioritizing communication over grammatical precision. This approach helped reduce anxiety and build learners' confidence in using English, as 90% of participants reported increased confidence in their language skills. The study underscores the pedagogical benefits of role-play in language education, highlighting its alignment with TBLT principles and its effectiveness in preparing learners for real-world communication. Future research should explore the long-term impact of role-play on language proficiency and its applicability across diverse learner demographics. This study contributes valuable insights into the use of role-play as a tool for language acquisition and communicative competence development.

Abstract

The research aims to improve student learning outcomes by using the PBL model in Pancasila and Citizenship Education subjects. This research is a Classroom Action Research model by Kemmis and Mc. Taggart. The research method used includes four stages, namely planning, action, observation and reflection. The subjects of this research were 16 class V students at SD Negeri 64 Banda Aceh in the odd semester of the 2023/2024 academic year, consisting of 9 boys and 7 girls. The data collection techniques used were written tests, observation and documentation. The data collection instruments used were diagnostic assessment, pretest and posttest, observation sheets, and documents. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive. Based on the research, the results of student evaluations, which initially had an average score of 63% in the pre-cycle, experienced an increase in the average score in the first cycle by 67% and in the second cycle the average score was 81%. This shows an increase in learning outcomes for class V students at SD Negeri 64 Banda Aceh by using the PBL learning model which is characterized by student activity.
