Abstract

This research was carried out at SD GMIM 3 Tomohon, aiming to describe parental parenting patterns in forming the responsible character of students at SD GMIM 3 Tomohon. The research method used is qualitative research. The type of research used by researchers in this research is a case study. The data collection techniques for this research are observation, direct interviews, and documentation. The research instruments were the principal, class teachers, students and parents. The data analysis technique uses the Miles and Huberman Model which consists of four stages, namely data collection, data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Data validity tests in qualitative research include credibility tests (internal validation), transferability (external validation), dependability (reliability), confirmability (objectivity). Ways to test the credibility of data or trust in data resulting from qualitative research include: extending observations, increasing persistence in research, triangulation (tringulation of sources and triangulation of data collection techniques and triangulation of time), analysis of negative cases, using reference materials, conducting check-ups. The conclusion obtained from this research is that the formation of children's character is influenced by the form of parenting patterns of parents at home. This is because parents are the ones who look after and guide children from birth to adulthood. The family is the first and foremost educator.

Abstract

This research aims to improve social studies learning outcomes in the material "Natural Appearances and Artificial Appearances" by applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in class VI SDN Inpres 5/81 Tendeki. The research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method proposed by Kemmis and Mc. Targgart. Which consists of two cycles where each cycle consists of four stages, namely: planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research results showed that the percentage of learning outcomes obtained by students in cycle I was 59.42% and in cycle II it increased to 83.76%. Based on the results of this research, it was concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model improved social studies learning outcomes for class VI students at SDN Inpres 5/81 Tendeki. In conclusion, the researcher suggests that teachers are expected to use the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model as an alternative in learning because it can help teachers improve student learning outcomes in social studies subjects in elementary schools (SD).

Abstract

This research aims to improve mathematics learning outcomes for flat shapes in the combined area of flat shapes (squares, rectangles and triangles) by implementing the Class IV Project Based Learning (PjBL) Model at SDN INPRES 5/81 Tendeki. The research uses the classroom action research (PTK) method proposed by Kemmis and Mc Taggart and consists of two cycles where each cycle consists of four stages, namely planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research results showed that the percentage of learning outcomes obtained by students in cycle I was 66.78% and in cycle II it increased to 82.14%. Based on the results of this research, it was concluded that the Project Based Learning (PjBL) model could improve Mathematics learning outcomes for the Flat Build material in class IV students at SDN INPRES 5/81 Tendeki. Researchers provide suggestions for teachers so that Mathematics learning outcomes are more optimal and can achieve KKM targets, it is recommended to place more emphasis on the use of learning models using the Project Based Learning Model (PjBL).

Abstract

This research aims to improve PPKn learning outcomes in the material "Pancasila values and their application" by implementing the project based learning (PjBL) learning model in class IV of SDN Inpres 5/81 Tendeki Bitung. The research uses the classroom action research (PTK) method proposed by Kemmis and Mc Taggar (Martati, 2021:39) and consists of two cycles where each cycle consists of four stages, namely: planning, implementing actions, observing and reflecting. The research results showed that the percentage of learning outcomes obtained by students in cycle I was 67.46% and in cycle II it increased to 90.14%. Based on the results of this research, it was concluded that the project based learning (PjBL) learning model could improve PPKn learning outcomes for class IV students at SDN Inpres 5/81 Tendeki. In conclusion, the researcher suggests that teachers are expected to use the project based learning (PjBL) learning model as an alternative in learning because it can help teachers improve student learning outcomes in Civics subjects in elementary schools (SD).

Abstract

The research aims to determine the factors that support the achievement of student learning achievement in elementary schools in terms of the role of the teacher. This research was carried out at YPK 1 Imanuel Jitmau Middle School. The type of research used is descriptive qualitative research with the aim of describing the role of teachers in increasing student motivation and learning achievement at the junior high school education level. Data collection was carried out using semi-structured interviews and observation. The fundamental thing in qualitative research is the researcher as an instrument. Therefore, in research, data analysis will be carried out from the time this research takes place until data collection and the creation of a research report which is the object or target of research in the field. Qualitative data analysis is carried out in a gradual sequence of analysis activities, namely the process of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and verifying information into statements. The research results reveal that teachers have a very important role in student motivation and achievement, such as being a demonstrator, class manager, mediator, facilitator, evaluator and motivator for students so that students can achieve their learning achievements

Abstract

This research aims to find out what is suitable for use in hydraulics courses based on learning motivation for completing assignments for students majoring in Building Engineering Education, Manado State University which can be used as a reference in developing hydraulics learning applications. This research uses a correlational description method. The results of this research show that student motivation for the hydraulics course shows that the influence of student learning motivation on completing course assignments has a positive direction, where from the results of the analysis the regression equation is obtained Ŷ= 14.6442 + 0.3635X, meaning that if there is an increase in changes in learning motivation, then the change in completion of structure course assignments will automatically increase as well. From the results of hypothesis testing, the correlation coefficient r = 0.7697 and determination r2 = 0.5929 are obtained. These results indicate that 59.29% of the variation that occurs in the process of completing hydraulics course assignments is influenced by learning motivation. It should be noted above that the average value of learning motivation is 76% of the expected value, namely 110 (from 22 question items), the average value for completing structured course assignments is 42.27 from the expected value, namely 60 (from 12 question items). B0 value = 14.6442 and B1 value = 0.3635. In this condition, students' completion of hydraulics course assignments only reaches an average score of 42.7, but if students have good learning motivation (optimally) then the level of assignment completion will also increase. This quantitative value can be said to be very good, because the completion of course assignments Students' hydraulics courses are influenced by learning motivation by 59.29% while the rest are influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This research aims to obtain empirical data regarding the relationship between the level of mastery of engineering mechanics and student learning achievement in hydraulics courses in the Civil Engineering study program, Faculty of Engineering, Unima. This research research is classified as a descriptive method which is correlational because the aim is to detect the extent of the relationship between the level of mastery of engineering mechanics and student learning achievement in hydraulics courses. The technique used in data collection is documentation technique. The population in the research is all Civil Engineering students with a total of 22 people from the class of 2019 to the class of 2022. The results of the research show that testing the hypothesis obtained a correlation coefficient of r = 0.322 and determination r2 = 0.1103. These results indicate that 11.03% of the variation that occurs in learning achievement in the Hydraulics course is influenced by mastery of engineering mechanics. The magnitude of this qualitative determining power can be said to be still lacking, because students' learning achievement in hydraulics courses is influenced by the level of mastery of engineering mechanics by 11.03% while the remaining 88.97% is determined by other factors..

Abstract

The aim of this research is to obtain data regarding Pastoral Assistance for Adolescent Gadget and Internet Users in the Waldensian Seventh-day Adventist Church. The type of research used is literature study. The literature study method is a series of activities related to methods of collecting library data, reading and taking notes, and managing research materials (Zed, 2008). Literature study is a required activity in research, especially academic research whose main aim is to develop theoretical aspects as well as aspects of practical benefit. Research results show that to overcome the lack of interest of teenagers in church worship, it is important for churches and pastors to understand the perspectives and needs of teenagers, and to create an inclusive, relevant and empowering environment for them. This can involve creating engaging programs and activities, listening empathetically to their concerns and questions, and building strong relationships between youth and the church community.

Abstract

Anestesi umum merupakan teknik anestesi yang paling umum digunakan dibandingkan teknik anestesi lainnya. 70-80% kasus pembedahan memerlukan anestesi umum. Anestesi umum mempunyai beberapa efek samping pada pasien, selama 24 jam pertama setelah anestesi, yaitu mual dan muntah. Mual dan muntah pasca operasi merupakan penyebab paling umum ketidaknyamanan pasien setelah anestesi. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kejadian mual dan muntah pasca operasi dengan anestesi umum di Rumah Sakit Islam Banjarnegara. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuantitatif, penelitian observasional deskriptif dengan desain cross-sectional. Sampel dalam penelitian ini sebanyak 80 responden. Pengambilan sampel dengan convenience sampling. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis univariat. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan sebagian besar responden berusia 17-25 tahun sebanyak 28 (35,0%), berjenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 46 (57,5%), tidak mempunyai riwayat merokok sebanyak 53 (66,3%), tidak memiliki riwayat mabuk perjalanan sebanyak 47 (58,8%), tidak menggunakan opioid pasca operasi sebanyak 74 (92,5%), durasi cepat (<60 menit) sebanyak 40 (50,0%), GA Imbang sebanyak 49 ( 61,3%), bedah umum sebanyak 45 (56,3%). Berdasarkan kejadian mual dan muntah pasca operasi terbanyak pada usia 17-25 tahun sebanyak 20 (25%), berjenis kelamin perempuan sebanyak 28 (35%), tidak memiliki riwayat merokok sebanyak 30 (37,6%). ), mempunyai riwayat mabuk perjalanan sebanyak 25 (31,3%), tidak menggunakan opioid sebanyak 31 (38,7%), durasi sedang (1-2 jam) sebanyak 26 (32,5%), GA seimbang sebanyak sebanyak 32 (40%), bedah umum sebanyak 15 (18,8%).

Abstract

The study was entihed the creation of educational communication message in covid-19 pandemic (a case study of SMA Negeri 1 Wanayasa Purwakarta) The covid-19 pandemic has affected various sectors of humman life, one of which is education the message (teach materials) has on important role to contribute to the success of the online learning process, so the message must be as interesting as possible in order for the purposes of learning to be property accomplished. A teacher needs to pay attention at the media to use as a text message. The harmony of the message’s use of media is important to a teacher’s attention the purpose of the study is to know the creation of educational communications message during the covid-19 pandemic to analyze the relevant media used to communicate communications, education during the covid-19 pandemic and to explain the inportance of the deploymentof educational communication message during the covid-19 pandemic. The method use in this study are qualitative methods with case studies, using constructive paradigms, and using tee drafts of message Alan H Monroe and Cassandra. The object of this study is the process of creating educational communication message, the research subject is teachers who are capable of math, physics, chemistry, and students, selection of informants uses a purposive sampling technigue, data collection involves interviews, documenting, and literature studies whereas the chek of validity of data by triangulation source. The study suggests that the compilation of message by teacher begins with attracting students first, the listens to the reasons of why students need the teacher can convince students to the study the material being presented, the role of coming message communication has a particulary important to make it easier for teacher to deliver learning message, improve the quality of learning make it easier for teacher to determine learning strategies the communication media use online learning activities ia audio visual media (zoom meeting, google meet, google classroom) and text based media (whatsapp) there are the differences a form of communication message arranged online is compared to the offline of learning message
