Abstract

The prevalence of hypertension is increasing worldwide, according to the World Health Organization (WHO), but high blood pressure is still a health problem for a relatively large population. In 2015, there were around 1.13 billion people suffering from high blood pressure. Cases of hypertension are also increasing every year; it is estimated that in 2025, around 1.5 billion people will suffer from hypertension and around 9.4 million people will die from hypertension and its complications every year. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between the role of the family and the level of compliance of hypertensive patients in consuming anti-hypertensive drugs at the X Health Center in Central Lampung. This research method is a non-experimental study with a cross-sectional research design. The results showed that physical activity had a p-value of 0.000 (<0.05), which means it has a relationship with adherence to taking medication, and the role of the family had a p-value of 0.048 (<0.05), meaning there is a positive relationship between the role of the family and adherence to taking medication. significant.

Abstract

The research conducted by the researcher is to compare the Case Study of Color Classification Using Hsv Color Model Processing and the Application of Convolution Methods in Digital Image Processing, which later obtained different conclusions but one goal is effectiveness and efficiency in two different models of digital image management. The research method in this study uses descriptive qualitative methods where by comparing the research data obtained in two studies, namely Color Classification Using Hsv Color Model Processing and Application of Convolution Methods in Digital Image Processing. A more effective test result according to the author is using the Convolution method where Convolution provides a way to combine two arrays, usually for different array sizes, but for the same array dimensions, resulting in a third array that has the same dimensions.

Abstract

This research discusses BRTV's local television strategy in maintaining its existence in the midst of broadcasting industry competition after making the switch from analog to digital signals. Using Vincent Mosco's theory of media political economy, this research aims to understand how BRTV faces challenges and capitalizes on opportunities in a changing media environment. A qualitative research method with a descriptive approach was used, involving interviews, observation, and documentation to obtain data from the company. The results show that BRTV implements various strategies, including the utilization of programs and social media, attracting advertisers by targeting specific audience ages, and recruiting with specific criteria. Challenges faced include audience shift to online platforms, competition with online media, and employee attrition during the pandemic. BRTV's strengths include awards received from KPID West Java. To overcome obstacles and challenges, BRTV focuses on program innovation, content creativity, and recruitment for new positions. This research provides insight into BRTV's efforts in dealing with the dynamics of the local broadcasting industry

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the needs of learning packages in the context of Project-Based Learning (PBL) and the challenges faced by students and teachers. Involving 100 students and 20 teachers from several schools that have implemented PBL, this research employs a mixed-methods approach using surveys and semi-structured interviews. The findings indicate that 75% of students feel more engaged in project-based learning, while 60% of them experience difficulties in managing time and resources. On the teacher side, 80% acknowledge an increase in student motivation, but 65% feel unprepared to design effective learning packages. This study identifies the need for clear guidelines, adequate resources, teacher training, and flexible assessment systems. The research concludes that to optimize the effectiveness of PBL, it is essential for schools to provide appropriate support to both teachers and students. Thus, project-based learning can be effectively implemented, equipping students with the necessary skills to face future challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the learning needs in the Virtual Lab for the Microteaching course to enhance the teaching skills of students. The research method employed is a qualitative approach, with data collected through online questionnaires and qualitative surveys. The respondents consist of 20-30 students enrolled in the Microteaching course at Universitas Negeri Makassar. The results indicate that before using the Virtual Lab, the majority of students felt unprepared and lacked confidence in their teaching abilities. However, after participating in training using the Virtual Lab, they reported significant improvements in understanding learning concepts, confidence in designing learning activities, and readiness to face unexpected situations in the classroom. Respondents provided positive assessments of the interface and features of the Virtual Lab, although some experienced difficulties in operating certain features. The interactive and high-quality learning media used in the Virtual Lab proved effective in enhancing student motivation and engagement. Additionally, the constructive feedback received after teaching simulations contributed to the improvement of teaching skills and increased motivation to continue learning. This study emphasizes the importance of integrating technology in education to improve teaching quality and prepare future teachers to face real-world challenges. Recommendations are provided for the development of training on the use of the Virtual Lab and the enhancement of feedback systems to support the effectiveness of teacher training in the future.

Abstract

In Law Number 48 of 2009 concerning Judicial Power, it is stated that justice must be based on simplicity, speed and low costs. However, in reality the process of trying in court in Indonesia is very inversely proportional, considering the large number of cases that have to be resolved at a very high cost, very long queues and the buildup of cases in Indonesian courts which is increasing. This research will understand the concept of plea bargaining which will be added to the criminal justice system in Indonesia. This type of research can be classified as normative juridical research, because this research is carried out by examining secondary data and approaches to law. This normative research examines the applicable regulations and links them with legal politics in the formation of rules to achieve the ideal concept in implementation of Plea Bargainig. The results of this research examine and analyze the rules relating to plea bargaining in the United States and several other countries to obtain the urgency and ideal concept for implementing plea bargaining in Indonesia. The fundamental element for the author to research is Law Number 48 of 2009 Article 2 paragraph (4) concerning judicial power considering that this law contains the principles of justice which is carried out quickly, simply and at low cost. So this is very much in conflict with the reality that exists in the court process in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the Game Based Learning learning model on the learning outcomes of class XI IPS students on natural disaster mitigation material at SMA Negeri 1 Jakarta. The sampling technique in this research used the Simple Random Sampling method. The samples used in this research were class XI IPS 2 as the experimental class and class XI IPS 1 as the control class. In testing the data, the results obtained showed that there was an influence on the cognitive learning outcomes of students in the experimental class. The experimental class experienced an increase in cognitive learning outcomes, namely from 68 to 82. Meanwhile, the results for the control class were from 47.3 to 71. This conclusion is also supported by the acquisition of Sig. in the unpaired t test it is 0.005, which means that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted because of the Sig value. < 0.05. So there is an increase in learning outcomes but it is not too influential after using the Game Based Learning model.

Abstract

The purpose of the research is the use of TikTok-based learning media to foster creativity and skills in assembling traditional dance movements in students of class X of SMA Negeri 3 Pamekasan, Pamekasan Regency, East Java Province. The object of this research is students in class XA in a dance group consisting of 7 people in one group. The data analysis in this study is a qualitative descriptive analysis, data and information obtained from the field are described data about students' creativity in assembling creative dance movements through TikTok-based learning media in learning Cultural Arts with creative dance work materials which are carried out in four meetings. Data collection is carried out by means of observation, interviews and documentation. Based on the results of the learning research on creative dance materials, in this case, creativity in arranging creative dance movements in class X of SMA Negeri 3 Pamekasan in the dance group shows that students with good results are an indicator that they have been creative and can string dance movements into a dance work in accordance with the ideas and themes taken with musical accompaniment based on TikTok-based learning media.

Abstract

The objectives of this research include: 1) To determine the influence of media mind mapping in guidance and counseling services on the learning motivation of class IX students at SMPN 1 Tragah, and 2) to determine the influence of media mind mapping in guidance and counseling services on career planning for students of class IX SMPN 1 Tragah. This research uses a quantitative approach and is an experimental type of research with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research samples were 30 students in class IX-A as the control class and 30 students in class IX-D as the experimental class. The data analysis technique uses the independent sample t test analysis technique. The research conclusions include: 1) There is an influence of media mind mapping in guidance and counseling services on the learning motivation of class IX students at SMPN 1 Tragah, and 2) there is an influence of media mind mapping in guidance and counseling services on career planning for students of class IX SMPN 1 Tragah.

Abstract

This research is a quantitative study aiming to examine the effect of implementing the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model integrated with STEM on the critical thinking and creativity skills of students at SMAN 1 Pademawu. The sample consisted of 60 respondents, including 28 students in the control class and 32 students in the experimental class. The sampling technique employed was random sampling. Data collection was conducted by administering pre-tests and post-tests consisting of five essay questions that assessed critical thinking and 24 questionnaire items measuring creativity. Validation and analysis were performed using validity and reliability tests, normality and homogeneity tests, t-tests, and N-Gain tests, all analyzed using SPSS version 27. The test results indicate: 1) Significant Influence: The implementation of the STEM-integrated Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model significantly influenced students' critical thinking, as indicated by an independent samples test significance value for critical thinking (Sig. 2-tailed) < 0.001 < 0.05 and for creativity (Sig. 2-tailed) < 0.001 < 0.05. These results indicate significant differences in the average critical thinking and creativity scores between the control and experimental classes after the intervention; 2) Improvement in Skills: The STEM-integrated PjBL model significantly improved students' critical thinking and creativity, as evidenced by the descriptive N-Gain mean for critical thinking being 93.9591 in the experimental class > 53.8191 in the control class, and the mean for creativity being 81.6743 in the experimental class > 21.6814 in the control class; 3) Effectiveness: The implementation of the STEM-integrated Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model was categorized as effective in enhancing students' critical thinking and creativity based on Hake’s R.R. criteria, with critical thinking scores of 93.9591 > 76 and creativity scores of 81.6743 > 76.
