Jurnal Ilmiah Wahana Pendidikan (JIWP) Diterbitkan sebagai upaya untuk mempublikasikan hasil-hasil penelitian dan temuan di bidang pendidikan . Jurnal ini terbit 4 bulanan, yaitu bulan April, Agustus dan Desember. *Ruang Lingkup* Memuat hal kajian, analisis, dan penelitian tentang perancangan, pengembangan, pengelolaan, pemanfaatan, evaluasi, dan penelitian dalam bidang pendidikan yang berkaitan dengan peningkatan kinerja dan memfasilitasi belajar di lembaga pendidikan formal, non-formal dan informal serta lembaga-lembaga pelatihan. *Deskripsi* Jurnal Ilmiah Wahana Pendidikan merupakan media komunikasi ilmiah bagi dosen, guru, widyaiswara, mentor, mahasiswa, dan praktisi pendidikan lainnya serta pemerhati kependidikan. Abstract

Pendidikan merupakan instrumen utama dalam membentuk sumber daya manusia yang tidak hanya cerdas secara kognitif, tetapi juga berkarakter. Kebijakan Wajib Belajar 12 Tahun yang dicanangkan pemerintah Indonesia bertujuan untuk menciptakan masyarakat terdidik sekaligus membentuk karakter, salah satunya adalah kedisiplinan. Namun, implementasi kebijakan ini sering kali dihadapkan pada tantangan sosial-ekonomi dan kultural yang menghambat pencapaian tujuan tersebut. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi kebijakan Wajib Belajar 12 Tahun dalam pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa di MA Pondok Quran Cilengkrang. Tujuan khususnya mencakup eksplorasi terhadap aspek perencanaan, pengorganisasian, pelaksanaan, dan evaluasi kebijakan tersebut di lingkungan madrasah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari kepala sekolah, guru, dan siswa MA Pondok Quran Cilengkrang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa MA Pondok Quran mengintegrasikan kebijakan wajib belajar ke dalam program pendidikan yang berorientasi religius dan karakter, dengan pendekatan manajemen berbasis pesantren. Perencanaan dilakukan secara sistematis melalui analisis SWOT, pelaksanaan dilakukan dengan sinergi antara program akademik dan pembinaan akhlak, sementara evaluasi dilakukan secara berkala melalui indikator kedisiplinan siswa seperti kehadiran dan kepatuhan terhadap aturan sekolah. Tantangan terbesar terletak pada kondisi sosial-ekonomi siswa non-mukim serta peran orang tua yang belum optimal. Kesimpulannya, implementasi kebijakan Wajib Belajar di MA Pondok Quran telah berjalan secara adaptif dan kontekstual. Meskipun terdapat kendala, pendekatan partisipatif serta integrasi antara pendidikan formal dan pengasuhan pesantren memberikan kontribusi signifikan terhadap pembentukan karakter disiplin siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the policy of implementing artificial intelligence (AI) technology in improving the learning process in university environments, with a comparative study of the Industrial Engineering Study Program and the Islamic Banking Study Program of Universitas Islam Nusantara. The background of the study is based on the need for higher education to adapt to the development of digital technology, especially AI, in order to improve the quality, efficiency, and accessibility of learning. This study uses a qualitative approach with a compare study method, examining regulations, implementation, and evaluation of AI policies through data collection techniques in the form of interviews, observations, and documentation studies of lecturers and students in both study programs. The results of the study indicate that the application of AI in higher education has great potential in improving learning personalization, administrative efficiency, and educational innovation. However, there are various challenges faced, such as limited infrastructure, lack of human resource readiness, and the absence of clear technical regulations regarding the use of AI, especially regarding ethics, academic integrity, and data protection. This study also found that the success of implementing AI policies is greatly influenced by the support of leaders, the readiness of lecturers and students, and the existence of clear ethical guidelines and regulations.

Abstract

Upaya guru adalah usaha pendidik dalam mendidik, mengajar, membimbing, mengarahkan, melatih, menilai, memfasilitasi dan mengevaluasi peserta didik untuk memperoleh tujuan pendidikan. Penelitan ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui upaya guru wali kelas dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas II di SDN 1 Medana. Penelitian ini dilakasanakan di SDN 1 Medana kecamatan Tanjung Kabupaten Lombok Utara. Subjek dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari Guru kelas dan siswa kelas II. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan kondensasi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Dengan hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa upaya guru wali kelas dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa kelas II dilakukan dengan cara memberikan dorongan, memberikan reward, membuat suasana kelas yang menyenangkan dan menggunakan metode belajar yang bervariasi. Sedangkan faktor yang mempengaruhi motivasi belajar kelas II diantaranya kurangnya minat belajar siswa, kurangnya rasa percaya diri, kondisi lingkungan peserta didik dan kemampuan peserta didik itu sendiri.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of selling price, operating costs, and sales volume on revenue at Toko Champion Bangunan Kalabahi, Alor Regency, during the 2022-2024 observation period. This research employs a quantitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation, interviews, and documentation studies. The study utilizes secondary data, where the population and sample consist of the financial statements of Toko Champion Bangunan Kalabahi for the years 2022-2024. The statistical method employed is multiple linear regression analysis, utilizing the significance values of the t-test and F-test as benchmarks for hypothesis testing. Data processing was conducted using IBM SPSS 16 for Windows. The results of the study indicate that: 1). Partially, the selling price variable has a significance value of 0.000 (0.0%), which is lower than the alpha value of 0.05 (5%); therefore, the study accepts H1, stating that the selling price variable partially influences the revenue of Toko Champion Bangunan Kalabahi from 2022 to 2024, 2). Partially, the operating costs variable has a significance value of 0.004 (0.4%), which is lower than the alpha value of 0.05; thus, the study accepts H2, stating that the operating costs variable partially influences revenue, 3). Partially, the sales volume variable has a significance value of 0.004 (0.4%), which is lower than the alpha value of 0.05; hence, the study accepts H3, stating that the sales volume variable partially influences revenue, 4). Simultaneously, the variables of selling price, operating costs, and sales volume yield a significance value of 0.000 (0.0%), which is lower than the alpha value of 0.05; consequently, the study accepts H4, confirming that selling price, operating costs, and sales volume simultaneously influence the revenue of Toko Champion Bangunan Kalabahi from 2022 to 2024.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the perceptions of teachers with non-special education backgrounds towards children with special need in the context of inclusive education at SD GMIM Kayawu Tomohon. Inclusive education emphasizes equal access for all children, but is often hindered by teacher readiness and facilities. Using a descriptive qualitative approach with a single case study design, this research involved 7 teachers as informants. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation, then analyzed using data reduction, presentation, and conclusion, as well as triangulation for validity. The results show that teachers' perceptions evolved from initial negative stereotypes to empathy through direct interaction. Main themes include understanding about children with special need and inclusion; the influences of children with special need on the process of learning and teaching; training and teaching methods; personal experiences and obstacle; teacher role and policy expectations. Perceptions are influenced by internal factors (personal experience) and external factors (school support), in line with Jalaluddin Rakhmat's (2018) theory of perception as a subjective process and interaction

Abstract

The use of the internet by entrepreneurs and the community in Daruba Village, South Morotai District, Morotai Island Regency, has built a symbiotic mutualistic communication relationship or a mutually beneficial relationship. The internet functions as a communication medium for ordering food and also promoting food sold by entrepreneurs. The internet in business is used for information exchange, product catalogs, promotional media, electronic mail, bulletin boards, electronic questionnaires, and mailing lists. The internet can also be used for dialogue, discussion, and consultation with consumers online, so that consumers can be proactively and interactively involved in the design, development, marketing, and sale of products. The research used qualitative research methods. In this study, it is clear that the communication that is built can form an interaction, namely social interaction. Social interaction can occur when there is social contact and communication between two individuals or groups. Social contact is the first stage of the occurrence of social relations. Communication is the delivery of information and the provision of interpretation and reaction to the information conveyed. Karp and Yoels point out several things that can be sources of information for the initiation of communication or social interaction.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the improvement in singing articulation skills in children with moderate intellectual disabilities at SLB Paulus Tomohon through the application of the demonstration method. This study uses a quantitative approach with a single subject experimental research design (Single Subject Research) A-B-A design. The research subject was a student with moderate intellectual disabilities in grade II of SLB Paulus Tomohon. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and performance tests measured in three conditions: baseline 1 (A1), intervention (B), and baseline 2 (A2). The results showed an improvement in singing articulation skills after the application of the demonstration method. The mean level score increased from 2.2 (A1) to 8 (B) and 11 (A2), with trend stability increasing from 40% to 100%. Thus, the demonstration method is effective in improving singing articulation skills in children with moderate intellectual disabilities and maintaining learning outcomes after the intervention is stopped.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out whether the word digtal card can improve the ability to read beginning in deaf children in grade V at SLB Paulus Tomohon. Through the use of digital word card media, the background of this research is the low initial reading ability of deaf students who still have difficulty recognizing letters, syllables, and simple words. The learning media used so far is still conventional so that it does not attract the attention of students. Therefore, interactive and visual media innovations are needed to facilitate the learning needs of deaf children. This study uses the Single Subject Research (SSR) Method with an A-B-A design, namely Baseline 1 (A1), Intervention (B), and Baseline 2 (A2). The subject of the study was one deaf student in class V at SLB Paulus Tomohon. The research instrument consisted of an initial reading ability test, observation sheets, and field notes. Data was collected through direct observation during the implementation of learning using digital word card media, then analyzed by calculating the average score, percentage increase, and level change between conditions. The results of the study show that the use of digital word cards can improve the initial reading ability of deaf students. It is shown that the overlap data in the analysis between conditions A1/B and B/A2 is 0%, which means that the smaller the percentage of overlap shows the greater the influence on the target behavior. This is also supported by an increase in the initial reading ability score obtained by children during the baseline 1, intervention, and baseline 2 phases. In the intervention-1 phase, children get a frequency score of 48, in the intervention phase, children get scores of 60, 72.5, 75, 75.90, 90, and in the baseline-2 phase, children get a score of 91.25, 91.25, 91.25, 91.25, 91.25, 91.25, 91.25. Thus, it can be concluded that digital word card media is effectively used to improve early reading skills in deaf children, because it is able to attract attention, motivate learning, and provide a visual and interactive learning experience according to the characteristics of deaf students

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of dribbling skills in soccer games for Al-Khairaat Labuha High School students through the application of role-playing methods. The study used a Classroom Action Research (CAR) design implemented in two cycles. The subjects were 30 students of grade X, with assessment instruments covering affective, psychomotor, and cognitive aspects. Data were collected through observation, skills tests, and documentation, then analyzed using the percentage of learning completion technique. The results showed a significant increase from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, the average learning outcome of new students reached 67.23, with 19 students completing the course and 11 students not completing it. After improvements to the learning strategy in cycle II, the average learning outcome increased to 89.58, with 29 students completing the course and only 1 student not completing the course. This increase was seen in all aspects of the assessment: cognitive, psychomotor, and affective. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the role-playing method is effective in improving the learning outcomes of dribbling students at Al-Khairaat Labuha High School. This method not only improves motor skills but also strengthens students' conceptual understanding and sportsmanship.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the symbolic and aesthetic meaning of accessories in the traditional clothing of the people of Maleipea Village, South Alor District, Alor Regency. Traditional clothing accessories in this village not only function as fashion accessories but also embody cultural values ​​that represent the identity, social status, and spirituality of the local community. This study employed qualitative methods. Using an ethnographic approach, the study involved data collection techniques, including participant observation and in-depth interviews, to gain a deeper understanding of the role of accessories in daily life and traditional ceremonies. The data analysis technique used was descriptive qualitative analysis. The results show that each element of the accessories, from the material to the color, has its own symbolism, reflecting the community's harmonious relationship with nature and traditional values ​​passed down through generations. Furthermore, the aesthetics of the accessories are reflected in the use of natural materials such as native rattan (tibu), wire, red cloth, chicken feathers, forest deli fruit, thread, and fan belts (van belts) arranged using traditional craft techniques. This research makes an important contribution to the preservation of local culture and serves as a reference for the development of Indonesian cultural studies.
