Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the characteristics of Qur'anic manuscripts in West Kalimantan through a literature study approach. The existence of Qur'anic manuscripts in this region not only represents the transmission of the sacred text but also reflects the social, cultural, and intellectual dynamics of local Muslim communities during the spread of Islam in the archipelago. The study employed qualitative methods with content analysis techniques, analyzing various academic sources, such as journal articles and research reports relevant to the study of Qur'anic manuscripts and manuscripts in West Kalimantan. The results indicate that the study of Qur'anic manuscripts in West Kalimantan is still dominated by codicology and physical descriptions, with a focus on material aspects, types of rasm, khat, illumination, and the context of palace patronage. Manuscripts found in areas such as Sambas, Sintang, Landak, and Pontianak exhibit diverse material characteristics, including the use of local materials such as tapa bark and imported European paper, indicating the existence of global trade networks. In terms of layout, the main text is generally written in black ink with red ink as markers for syakl and waqf, accompanied by skolia such as maqra and juz, which indicate the manuscript's pedagogical function in religious education. These findings confirm that the Qur'an manuscripts in West Kalimantan are the result of the interaction between local traditions and the broader Islamic scholarly network in the archipelago. Therefore, further comparative and interdisciplinary research is needed to uncover textual variants, scholarly transmission networks, and the position of West Kalimantan manuscripts within the tradition of copying mushafs in the Southeast Asian region.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aimed to describe the stages of developing learning media based on Articulate Storyline on the material of Hospitality Basics, for Phase E students at SMK Negeri 1 Singaraja. The method used is (Research and Development) with the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages, namely Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation. (a) Analyze, needs identification is carried out through the distribution of questionnaires and interviews with teachers and students. (b) Design includes designing the media structure, interface display, material preparation, and designing interactive quizzes. (c) Development, learning media is developed using the Articulate Storyline 3 application and validated by experts. The results of the study show that in the (d) Implementation stage which was carried out through field trials on 40 Phase E Hospitality C students, the percentage results were 84.95% which is in the very good category. Furthermore, the students' responses obtained an average score of 58.95 with a very good category, while the teachers' responses obtained an average score of 41.5 with a very good category. (e) Evaluation was carried out to assess the overall suitability of the media based on input from experts, teachers, and students. Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of ChatGPT usage on the academic and social activities of students at SMK Negeri 2 Pengasih. The method used in this research is descriptive quantitative with data collection techniques through a survey filled out by 103 students. The collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics to see the frequency and distribution of respondents' answers. The results show that the majority of students routinely use ChatGPT for academic purposes, especially in finding information and references, which is considered effective in improving the quality and speed of learning. However, the influence of ChatGPT on students' social activities is not significant; most students rarely use it for communication and do not feel a major change in direct social interaction. There were also concerns about the potential for dependence on this technology. The conclusion of this study is that ChatGPT has become a dominant and useful tool in the academic field for vocational school students, but its use in a social context is still limited and there needs to be an awareness of the risk of dependency.

Abstract

Child protection is a right that every child born into the world can receive. This protection must be implemented as early as possible in order to provide guarantees so that children can live, develop and participate with a sense of security. The existence of Law No. 35 of 2014 as an amendment to Law No. 23 of 2002 concerning child protection emphasizes the need for criminal sanctions and fines for crimes committed against children in social life, especially in Indonesia. The method used in this research is a normative method using a literature study process which refers to searching for sources through secondary data.

Abstract

The growing and increasingly complex nature of trade activities has the potential to cause disputes between the parties involved. Such disputes can be resolved through litigation or non-litigation mechanisms. Arbitration, as a form of non-litigation dispute resolution, offers an alternative that is considered more effective, efficient, and maintains the confidentiality of the parties. This study aims to examine the mechanism of arbitration in the resolution of trade disputes in Indonesia and the legal basis underlying it. The research method used is normative legal with a literature approach based on primary and secondary legal materials. The results of the study show that arbitration is carried out based on a written agreement between the parties, either through an arbitration clause in the main agreement (pactum de compromittendo) or a compromise deed made after the dispute occurs. Arbitration awards are final, binding, and enforceable, and can be enforced through the District Court in accordance with the provisions of Law No. 30 of 1999 on Arbitration and Alternative Dispute Resolution.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mendeskripsikan kategorisasi, makna, dan struktur semantis verba tertawa bahasa Indonesia. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data lisan, data tulis, dan data intuitif. Pengumpulan data lisan dan data tulis dilakukan dengan metode simak dan catat. Teori yang digunakan pada penelitian ini ialah teori Metabahasa Semantik Alami (MSA). Kategorisasi ditetapkan dengan mengelompokkan butir-butir leksikal berdasarkan komponen semantisnya menggunakan perangkat makna asali dan molekul makna. Dari penelitian ini, ditemukan bahwa terdapat tiga belas verba tertawa dan turunannya dalam bahasa Indonesia. Ketiga belas verba tersebut dibedakan atas tiga kategorisasi dengan polisemi yang sama yakni MERASAKAN/TERJADI. Kategorisasi yang membentuk verba-verba tersebut, yaitu (1) ‘sesuatu terjadi PADAKU’ dan (2) ‘sesuatu terjadi’

Abstract

Anggota verba gerakan dalam bahasa Karo memiliki ciri semantis yang berbeda, seperti verba lawes yang berarti pergi dengan verba berkat yang berarti berangkat. Masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana kategori semantis dan deskripsi makna dalam verba gerakan bahasa Karo. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kategorisasi dan makna verba gerakan agentif dan verba gerakan pasientif dalam bahasa Karo. Teori yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah teori Metabahasa Semantik Alami (MSA). Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah data lisan dan data tulisan. Pengumpulan data lisan menggunakan metode simak dengan teknik catat dan teknik rekam sebagai teknik lanjutan. Analisis data menggunakan metode agih dan metode padan. Penyajian hasil analisis data disajikan dengan metode formal dan metode informal. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa verba gerakan dalam bahasa Karo dikategorisasikan berdasarkan komponen semantis. Kategori verba gerakan agentif dalam bahasa Karo dibentuk oleh komponen ‘X bergerak karena X menginginkannya’, sedangkan verba gerakan pasientif dibentuk oleh komponen ‘X bergerak bukan karena X menginginkannya’. Makna verba gerakan dalam bahasa Karo dibentuk oleh dua makna asali yang paling sering muncul dalam parafrase yaitu elemen BERGERAK/MERASAKAN dan BERGERAK/BERPIKIR yang berkombinasi sehingga membentuk sintaksis makna universal ‘pada waktu itu, X bergerak’.

Abstract

Facial skin is the most exposed part of the body, making it vulnerable to dirt and various skin problems. Regular and appropriate care is necessary to maintain healthy facial skin. There are several types of facial skin, each requiring different treatments. However, many men still use unsuitable skincare products or are unaware of the importance of facial care. To address this issue, an expert system was developed to identify facial skin types in men based on visible skin conditions using the forward chaining method. This system simulates expert knowledge by drawing conclusions from 20 facial skin conditions to determine the user's skin type. The output of the system classifies the skin into one of five types: normal, dry, oily, combination, or sensitive. The system was developed using the Expert System Development Life Cycle (ESDLC), which includes assessment, knowledge acquisition, system design, testing, and documentation. User Acceptance Testing (UAT) results showed a user acceptance rate of 85.8% for the system’s interface and 83.4% for its usefulness. Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis tingkat kepuasan pelanggan PT. Belopa Kreatif Indonesia (Carinet Indonesia) dengan menggunakan metode Importance Performance Analysis (IPA). Layanan internet menjadi kebutuhan vital bagi masyarakat dan bisnis, sehingga kualitas pelayanan ISP sangat menentukan loyalitas pelanggan. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif, dengan data dikumpulkan melalui kuesioner online berbasis model SERVQUAL, yang dianalisis menggunakan metode IPA serta Model Kano. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rata-rata tingkat kesesuaian antara harapan dan kinerja pelayanan berada pada angka 93,88%, dan Customer Satisfaction Index (CSI) sebesar 74,04%, yang menempatkan tingkat kepuasan pelanggan pada kategori “puas”. Namun, terdapat kesenjangan pada beberapa atribut layanan penting seperti kecepatan internet, kecepatan penanganan keluhan, serta perhatian personal kepada pelanggan yang berada di kuadran prioritas utama perbaikan. Sementara itu, atribut seperti profesionalisme staf dan respons cepat terhadap pertanyaan mendapat apresiasi pelanggan dan perlu dipertahankan. Temuan ini mengindikasikan perlunya manajemen untuk melakukan perbaikan berkelanjutan pada atribut layanan yang masih di bawah ekspektasi, guna meningkatkan kepuasan dan loyalitas pelanggan. Hasil studi ini diharapkan dapat menjadi dasar dalam strategi peningkatan kualitas layanan PT. Belopa Kreatif Indonesia secara berkelanjutan.

Abstract

The present undergraduate thesis entitled Figurative Language in The Greatest Showman Movie is focused on the analysis of the figurative language proposed by Knickerbocker and Reninger (1959) contained in the movie. In dealing with communication, whether in formal or informal settings, people express or use language that contains meanings beyond its real definition through metaphors, hyperbole and so forth. Figurative language is a figure of speech that implies more than the dictionary definition. Figurative language is also widely used by movie scriptwriters to convey deeper messages and enhance emotion. The study used a descriptive qualitative method to analyze the data with the movie called The Greatest Showman being the primary data. The data were collected using a note-taking technique and an informal method was used to present the analysis of the collected data by explaining descriptions of each data thoroughly. The result revealed the findings included all types of figurative language proposed by Knickerbocker and Reninger. There were 29 data found with varying amounts for each type. Metaphor is the most predominant type found in the movie.
