<![CDATA[This community service aims to develop students' writing literacy in the form of training. The main focus of this community service is to train students to write effective sentences and apply punctuations. This training involved 15 grade VI students of MIS Darul Ulum Genengan who had taken the Minimum Competency Assessment (AKM). They were selected as training participants to follow up on the results of the AKM. The training was held for 6 meetings in the period from August 1–31, 2022. The training activities include: pretest (writing text); vocabulary identification; sentence analysis; punctuation analysis; vocabulary, sentence, and punctuation exercises; and posttest (writing text). These activities were carried out in groups and individually by applying attractive learning strategies and media. After participating in the training, 80% of students were able to reach a proficient level in writing. This result far exceeds the pre-training achievement; that is, 73% of students were only able to reach the basic level. With these results, it is highly recommended for the school to intensify literacy activities, especially writing. Those who are talented can continue to hone their skills, and those who still need special intervention can continue to develop their abilities.]]>

<![CDATA[Muram Sari Village is one of the villages in the Semangga District, Merauke Regency with the largest population in the Semangga District. This village is dominated by transmigration communities who in fact have a livelihood as farmers and ranchers. One of the livestock developed is goat which is considered to be able to help boost the economy of farmers from generation to generation. Goat farming is currently being cultivated by breeders, although its implementation has not been fully maximized. This is due to the lack of understanding of breeders on the development of goats, the maintenance system is still traditional and the maintenance management and group management are not optimal. Therefore, with the Community Partnership Service (PKM) activity, the implementing team will provide full participation in solving problems faced by the group, especially cultivation management, housing systems, group management, and processing of sewage waste as organic fertilizer. It is hoped that in the future, Muram Sari Village will become the basis for developing goats in Merauke Regency.]]>

<![CDATA[Kampung Kuper is a village in the Semangga District, Merauke Regency with a population of 1,298 people. This village is dominated by transmigration communities whose livelihoods are farmers. Kampung Kuper is a rice production center in Merauke Regency. The rice plants in this village are quite extensive so they have a lot of rice waste in the form of straw and husks that are not used and are left as waste and burned for further planting. Kampung Kuper also has chickens and cows whose dung can be used for organic fertilizer. Rice plant waste (straw, husk) and livestock manure (chicken, cow) are very important to be developed as organic fertilizers because they are rich in nutrients that plants need for growth and development. Based on the potential utilization of rice plant waste and livestock manure, this service activity is carried out to provide participation to farmer groups, especially motivating farmers in managing rice and livestock waste as organic fertilizer and making Kuper village a center for organic fertilizer production in Merauke Regency. The implementation of activities includes counseling and technical guidance as a medium for transferring knowledge and technology to partners, which will be carried out en masse, through groups and individuals. The solutions offered in the implementation of the Partner Village Development program are through non-physical and physical activities expected; 1) Provide counseling and technical guidance on the benefits of managing agricultural and livestock waste as organic fertilizer so that people care about environmental health and the food products they consume and 2) Assisting in the processing of rice straw and livestock manure as organic fertilizer. The community, especially farmer groups in Kuper Village, are very enthusiastic in participating in counseling activities as well as carrying out manufacturing practices]]>

<![CDATA[Muram Sari Village is one of the villages in the Semangga District, Merauke Regency. This village has a population of 1,496 people with a growth rate of 0.61%. This number fluctuates from year to year, one of which is caused by the lack of population administration management so it is very important to make improvements. This condition is in line with the government program as outlined in the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 6 of 2014 concerning Villages that the village has the authority to regulate its own village both in terms of government administration equipment, villages, village finances, customs, village development, village assets, government agencies. village-owned businesses and even the village government itself with the aim of having strong legality. A village that has a neat government administration system certainly involves village apparatus who are proficient and have mastery of technology in managing it. Village management involves all government officials, both at the sub-district and village levels. The apparatus should have optimal capabilities in carrying out their duties in supporting the government system. It is very appropriate if the village area becomes the target of implementing government and development activities, considering that the village government is the lowest government base in the government structure which will determine the success of a comprehensive National Development.]]>

<![CDATA[Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM) are one of the driving forces of the economy in a local area as well as a booster for the community's welfare. One of the obstacles often faced by the Shingkara UMKM community in Singosari District, Malang Regency is the lack of quality product packaging that still uses manual tools and is not optimal in creating marketing content. This community service aims to provide automatic plastic seal press machines and training on marketing content creation for micro-business actors in the Shingkara UMKM community so that it is expected to increase partners' competitiveness. The stages of community service were observation and coordination, providing machines, handing over machines, holding training, and evaluation. The results of the community service activities showed that the training participants were enthusiastic and actively participated during the training. The quality of product packaging after using a plastic seal press machine has also improved, evidenced by a tighter and well-protected packaging seal. The copywriting training has also broadened the participants' knowledge about strategies for creating product marketing content by utilizing applications available on Android.]]>

<![CDATA[TOEFL or known as the Test of English as a Foreign Language is an English test that is used to measure the level of mastery of a student's English through listening, reading, and writing and structural expressions. This test is very useful for high school students. One of the benefits that can be felt by students is as preparation for college level. With good English skills, it will produce a maximum TOEFL score. Community service activities that have been carried out for JAYABAYA Tutoring students using the lecture, discussion, and practice methods of working on TOEFL questions. The lecture method used to motivate as well as deliver the material makes students feel enthusiastic about trying to work on the TOEFL questions. The method of discussion and practice is carried out to determine the level of students' English mastery through the TOEFL test. <![CDATA[In an effort to avoid the Covid-19 pandemic, the government has issued a policy that schools ask their students to study at home. Starting March 16, 2020, the school will practice online student education procedures. The online education system (on the network) is an education system without direct face-to-face between teachers and students but is carried out online using the internet network. Teachers are obliged to allow teaching and learning activities to continue, even though students are at home. The solution, teachers are required to be able to design educational media as an innovation by using online media (online). State Senior High Schools also practice the online education model due to the diversity of teacher competency levels in conducting online education so assistance in the application of online education is needed. Lecturers who have the Tri Dharma of higher education, one of which is a dedication to the community, can function and assist in online education. Assistance is carried out by carrying out socialization and training and followed by assistance in the application of online education. The media used is Google Classroom, as well as making educational videos uploaded on YouTube. The result of the dedication of these residents is that teachers already have online classes and can carry out online class management and online classroom care.]]>

<![CDATA[Literacy habits carried out in schools have not been able to improve students' critical thinking skills at SMKF Mandala Tiara Bangsa Jakarta. Lack of mastery of technology also causes students' reluctance to look for valid reference sources of information. The solution to these problems is the need for critical literacy assistance through the use of technology and digital information for students at the SMKF Mandala Tiara Bangsa Jakarta. The method of this activity is observation, interview, presentation, discussion, question and answer, and practice (simulation). This activity is carried out in two stages. The first stage is sharing knowledge about critical literacy, including strategies for finding trusted reference sources. The second stage is the practice of critical literacy which is carried out in groups. The activity closed with an evaluation between the abdimas team and the participants and accompanying teachers. The result of this activity is that students are able to apply critical literacy well. Students can also seek the truth of information through trusted sources with the help of technology and digital information. Although the verbal delivery of information has not been maximized, students will learn to improve their self-confidence better, especially when speaking in public.]]>

<![CDATA[Banana is a horticultural commodity that is widely consumed by people in Indonesia, especially in Merauke Regency. Increased production of banana plants is strongly influenced by the quality of seeds and preparation of planting media in the field. This service aims to provide an understanding to the community about the development of banana plants using organic fertilizers and utilizing the potential of unused land in Kweel Village. The implementation of activities includes counseling with a participatory system and demonstration of banana plant development plots. The solutions offered in this activity are; 1) Providing counseling about the benefits of managing livestock waste as organic fertilizer, 2) Providing assistance in processing livestock manure as organic fertilizer and 3) conducting technical guidance and demonstration of banana plant development plots. The targeted outputs of this Partner Village Development program include guidelines for the use of organic fertilizers for banana cultivation, publication of articles in nationally accredited journals, and publication of print/online media.]]>

<![CDATA[Virgin Coconut Oil is an oil that is processed from the extraction carried out from fresh coconut fruit which is processed in various ways, one of which is by using traditional methods, namely the natural processing process, namely by photosynthesis. The purpose of making Virgin Coconut Oil is to take advantage of the potential of nature in agriculture in increasing the empowerment of the creative economy of coastal communities during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is socialization and training on the process of making Virgin Coconut Oil (VCO). The result obtained is that the people of Watukamba Village realize the importance of utilizing the natural potential in agriculture and being able to produce VCO independently to increase the economic income of the community. The conclusion after community service activities during the pandemic is still felt the benefits by the community and the sustainability of virgin coconut oil (VCO) processing.]]>
