Abstract

The medium of international communication is English. The language used in general to communicate between countries, therefore English can be said to be universal, where its use is not only as a communication bridge in everyday life but also for international communication. At the education level, English is taught to 11th grade high school students to provide them with international communication skills. However, the problem that arises is that grade 11 students feel they are still lacking in mastering English to communicate. Therefore, this article aims to report on PKM activities in providing motivation and training in talkshow concepts to 35 students of grade 11 MBS Muhammadiyah boarding school Kedung Kandang Malang City so that students are motivated and motivated in honing their English mastery, having good insight. international in nature and useful as a tool to answer the challenges of the development of science in the era of globalization. The activity method used is the presentation method. Meanwhile, to collect data, the author uses a review of service activities. After conducting this “international Talkshow” activity, 11th grade students have the provision of international communication. As a follow-up, it is necessary to do more to develop and train English continuously for 11th grade students of SBM Malang.

Abstract

Kampus Mengajar Program aims to help equalize national education. This program is very much needed by schools with the background of Frontier, Remote and Disadvantaged (3T) or schools with C/B accreditation. Kampus Mengajar becomes a ledge for students and lecturers to participate in advancing national education. This program runs for 5 months or one semester. Kampus Mengajar Students Batch 3 performs 3 main tasks at the assignment, namely teaching, assisting with technology adaptation, and assisting school administration. SD Negeri 091355 Urung Panei is one of the target schools for the Kampus Mengajar. This school has a C accreditation and is in dire need of assistance, especially in improving students' literacy and numeracy skills. SD Negeri 091355 Urung Panei also needs additional teaching staff due to the shortage of teachers. Schools also need help to re-invigorate students' learning enthusiasm after 1.5 years of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Abstract

Knowledge of Occupational Health and Safety (K3) possessed by workers is one of the critical elements in the smooth operation of an organization or company. Especially for those who are related to hazardous work or related to things that have the potential to cause accidents. Activities related to nature, such as the sea, also require certain skills to minimize accidents. Mastery of K3 and Balawistaan in particular needs to be possessed by SMK students who will switch to the world of work. Therefore, it is necessary to provide introduction, debriefing, and training about this to SMK students as a generation that will soon be involved in the industrial.

Abstract

The icreasing pollution resulting from plastic waste, not only on land, but also can disturb of ecosystem. It can take 500 years to decompose plastic used for mineral bottles. By utilizing plastic waste, it hoped that can contribute to save the environment. By introduction plastic materials, it hoped that early childhood will be more aware of the environment. Children are invited to be creative using plastic bottles to make saving containers. In addition to inviting children to learn to use plastic waste, it also can introduces children to learning to save at an early age. With creation made by children, it hoped that children will be aware of the environment, children will take part in saving the environment and reducing the use of the environment, children will take part in saving the environment and reducing the use of plastic waste.

Abstract

Cultivation of medicinal plants in the garden system can meet the needs of increasing the immune system for the people of Jati Bali Village. The purpose of this community service activity is to provide knowledge to the community about the cultivation of medicinal plants and spices in the garden system as well as the manufacture of liquid organic fertilizer from household waste as an alternative to meeting the needs of increasing the immune system during a pandemic. Activities that have been carried out to achieve the objectives of the Internal Community Partnership Program (PKMI) are through mass and group outreach to partners, training, and plot demonstrations. Through this activity, partners in Jati Bali Village have been able to cultivate medicinal plants and spices in the dasa wisma garden system. Partners who are actively involved in the activity have been able to produce liquid organic fertilizer from household waste.

Abstract

The production and use of liquid smoke from rice husks among the farming community in Belitang sub-district is still very limited and not many people even know about liquid smoke and its benefits. During the rice husk is made of charcoal and used for mixing the soil as an additional nutrient to the soil. Seeing these conditions, the aim of carrying out community service activities is to increase public knowledge of the potential of rice husk in the form of liquid smoke which can be used as an organic pesticide. The activity method is carried out in several steps, namely socialization, the process of making and assembling tools and the practice of making smoke by the community on a small scale. Designed pyrolysator equipment portable consisting of combustion chamber tubes, smoke cooling chamber tubes and smoke flow pipes which are used to produce liquid smoke. The rice husk burning process was carried out using a pyrolysis scheme within 6 hours and produced 90 ml of black liquid smoke with little oil content. This indicates that the liquid smoke produced is of low quality. The result of this Community Service Program (PPM) activity is that the community understands and understands the use of liquid smoke and the process of making liquid smoke.

Abstract

Nepa merupakan salah satu desa yang ada di Kota Sampang bagian utara. Pada umumnya mata pencaharian masyarakat adalah nelayan. Selain itu terdapat juga Usaha Mikro Kecil dan Menengah (UMKM) masyarakat. Para pelaku UMKM di Desa Nepa kurang memanfaatkan teknologi dalam memasarkan produknya. Padahal dengan melibatkan teknologi para pembeli lebih mudah mengetahui barang-barang yang dijual dan konsumen akan semakin meluas. Dengan adanya pengabdian ini Kami mencoba mengenalkan dan mengedukasikan tentang pemanfaatan teknologi e-commerce bagi UMKM sebagai media pemasaran. Sisi lain kelebihan dari e-commerce khususnya pada saat situasi pandemic Covid 19 seperti saat ini adalah konsumen tidak harus mendatangi langsung tempat UMKM. Jadi cukup pesan secara online. Tujuan dari pelaksanaan pengabdian untuk mengetahui kendala apa saja yang ada dan membantu pemasaran produk UMKM masyarakat Nepa terlebih di masa pandemic covid-19. Metode yang dipakai dalam pelatihan adalah Pemaparan (ceramah), praktik penugasan dan tanya jawab serta wawancara langsung untuk mengetahui respon masyarakat terhadap pelatihan. Berdasarkan hasil wawancara yang dilakukan bahwa pelaku usaha mikro kecil dan Menengah beranggapan positif terhadap program pelatihan dan pembinaan karena meberikan efek atau dampak yang positif terhadap perkembangan usaha mikro kecil. Faktor penghambat dari pelaksanaan kegiatan peningkatan pemberdayaan UMKM adalah minimnya tenaga penyuluh UMKM di Desa Nepa, terbatasnya anggaran yang dimiliki, kesulitan permodalan UMKM, dan permasalahan teknis UMKM.

Abstract

Assistance and training on digital learning patterns for educators at SDN 41 Pangkalpinang is carried out using the workshop method. The speaker has prepared the material to be delivered related to digital learning, then the teaching staff is directed by the community service team to simulate the material that has been delivered by the presenter. This program aims to improve the skills of educators in using digital learning such as using Zoom, Google Meet, Google Classroom and using interactive quizzes using platforms such as Wirldwall so that it can be done in hybrid learning. The results of this mentoring and training received positive appreciation from educators that they can implement effective and efficient digital learning.

Abstract

Teachers as the main factor in implementing learning need to improve their competence, both professional, pedagogic, personal and social competence. By having complete competence, the teacher will have the expected responsibilities based on laws and regulations. One of the teacher competencies that needs to be developed is writing a scientific article competence. Facts in the field show that many of the teachers have "low" competence in compiling a scientific work. Therefore, community service that focuses on writing scientific journal articles is organized by focusing more on practical activities and mentoring. At the end of the meeting there was a mutual agreement from the participants to finish their idea articles within a week.

Abstract

Karya Makmur Village  is one of the villages in the Pemali District Bangka Regency Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The problem of Karya Makmur Village that the knowledge of MSMEs actors is still quite low regarding MSME development strategies both in terms of Human Resources (HR), marketing and  finance.  In addition, MSMEs actors also do not have product licensing legality such as Halal Certification and Business Identification Number (NIB). The method of  the program are outreach, education, training and mentoring. The stages of the activity consist of preparation, implementation,  mentoring  and  evaluation.  The  implementation  of the program has provided understanding, motivation, competency and skills in  MSMEs development both in  the fields of Human Resources (HR), Marketing, Finance and product licensing (Halal Certification and  NIB).  This activity will be periodically monitored and evaluated in order to maintain the sustainability of the program.
