Abstract

Empowerment activities for elderly stroke sufferers in remembering reading and prayer movements aim to provide guidance and direction to the community or a family member of stroke patients to be able to find out how to provide treatment to elderly stroke sufferers who forget to read and pray movements due to the impact of stroke (post-stroke) and as an effort to form mentors who can pay attention and guide elderly stroke sufferers well, add insight to companions and so that later companions can help, accompany, and train these stroke sufferers to spur themselves and their ability to remember reading and prayer movements. The method used in this activity is the ABCD (Asset Based Community-driven Development) method. The empowerment for this supervisor is carried out with a series of activities including; (1) reflexology, (2) congregational prayer, and (3) guidance on reading and prayer movements. Through this effort, stroke sufferers are able to remember readings and prayer movements, but have a drawback, namely that they must start by mentioning the beginning of the prayer reading and cannot pray individually. In this activity, it is hoped that the companion can help stimulate the memory of the elderly with stroke to continue to assist them in remembering readings and prayer movements as well as assisting the five daily prayers.

Abstract

Snacks are often consumed by people to temporarily relieve hunger. These snacks are usually high in sugar and fat and low in fiber. One of the healthy snacks consumed is a snack bar made from local food. In this training, developing a snack bar based on local food ingredients that is low in calories and high in fiber, namely a snack bar based on purple sweet potatoes flour. The purpose of this training is to introduce the community to product diversification using local food from purple sweet potatoes which can be processed into healthy snacks and basic skills on how to make the snack bar. The methods used in this training are lectures, demonstrations and questions and answers. The stages of implementing the activity are an explanation of local food, using purple sweet potato as a basic ingredient for healthy snacks. Next, the practice of making snack bars with the basic ingredients of purple sweet potato flour, peanuts and crispy rice. The results of the evaluation of the snack bar making training, namely the response of the training participants were very satisfied and enthusiastic in participating in this activity because participants could add new insights and knowledge in terms of local food snack bars. In addition, the training participants also got new business ideas to be developed in healthy snack culinary.

Abstract

Youth is the hope of the church which should be one of the main concerns in the church. As the future of the church, youth need to be prepared so that they are able to face the challenges of the church in the future. In order to prepare the youth, the practical effort that can be done by the church is spiritual guidance. Spiritual guidance is a Bible-centered coaching and teaching activity. Spiritual guidance is important, considering today's youth are vulnerable and very easily influenced. Starting from this understanding, in carrying out the task of the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, namely Community Service, the author chose church youth as the target of implementing these Community Service activities. The form of service carried out is spiritual guidance for youth through the love of the Bible movement. In carrying out these activities there are three main stages that the author takes starting from the planning, implementation and evaluation stages. Specifically at the implementation stage, the authors apply various methods that involve youth actively participating. As a result of these activities, young people have an awareness of their responsibilities as the baton of the church so that they need to prepare themselves by reading and loving the Bible as a source of truth and Christian teaching.

Abstract

The teaching campus is one of the independent campus programs designed by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology. In practice, this program provides a mandate to students to be able to carry out learning to students that focuses on understanding literacy and numeracy. The main purpose of the campus teaching program is to provide opportunities for students to learn and develop themselves through activities outside of class lectures, to help schools provide optimal educational services for all students at the elementary level in limited and critical conditions during the pandemic and to provide optimal learning opportunities. to all students at the elementary level in limited and critical conditions during the pandemic. The special purpose of the class III teaching campus program in 2022 is that with the program design that we offer for SD Negeri 173320 Siborutorop, I can succeed in the independent campus program organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture, students have made real contributions as evidence of students also caring and play an active role in the success of the Kemendikbud program for the advancement of national education and make Indonesian students trained to serve, especially in the field of education, through this program students from all majors are free to serve, contribute and collaborate with teachers creatively and innovatively to advance literacy and numeracy in elementary schools State 173320 Siborutorop. The activities carried out while at SD Negeri 173320 Siborutorop were teaching activities, and helping teachers in strengthening reading literacy in schools.

Abstract

The Teaching Campus Program is one form of the implementation of the Independent Learning Campus Merdeka (MBKM) in the form of teaching assistance to empower students in helping the learning process in elementary schools in various villages/cities, one of which is SDN 173455 Sijamapolang, kab. Humbang Hasundutan, North Sumatra. In this program, the students involved have the responsibility to assist the school in the teaching process, assist in adapting technology, and assisting school administration. In addition, students have a responsibility to improve literacy and numeracy, especially during a pandemic where education in Indonesia can be considered backward and must be pursued to advance it again.

Abstract

The use of technology continues to penetrate various aspects of life, one of which is the utilization of technology in the field of education at the Playgroup Level (KB). At KB Bina Cendikia in Jabung Subdistrict, Malang has not used technology for learning media such as LCD projectors; therefore, there is necessary to teach media by utilizing this technology to increase learning activities. This community service activity (PPM) aims to provide learning media in the form of an LCD projector and its equipment and to train KB Bina Cendikia teachers to operate and maintain it. The PPM activities stages include surveys, coordination, procurement, socialization, and handovers. The results of the PPM activity showed that the thematic learning process at KB Bina Cendikia using LCD projector media could make students happier. It demonstrated the students' enthusiasm for participating in the lessons, and there was also an increase in learning activities. KB teacher Bina Cendikia also responded positively to using LCD projectors in thematic learning.

Abstract

The amount of free time that housewives have in Dusun Citeureup I is often not used properly so they are said to be less productive. Empowerment of housewives will encourage increased productivity and the potential for the formation of new businesses which have implications for improving the economy, especially the family economy. The community service program for empowering housewives is training to make handicrafts from used bottle caps and making bohemian bags. The method of implementing this program uses community education and training. The stages of the activities carried out were conducting counseling, training, and mentoring in making handicrafts from used bottle caps and making bohemian bags. This activity is said to be a success because of the high enthusiasm of housewives to attend the event and their interest in trying to learn to make bohemian bags and other handicrafts from used bottle caps. From the two trainings, the interest in making bohemian bags became superior as evidenced by the request from the Chair of Family Empowerment and Welfare to be taught privately. Making bohemian bags and handicrafts from bottle caps can be done in free time so as not to interfere with household work so as to minimize unproductive free time. The results of this craft can also be sold so that it can increase income and improve the family's economy. This craft requires patience, patience, and innovation, and still needs assistance for training.

Abstract

Karangsari is the largest producer of Karangsari starfruit varieties in Blitar City. To support community food security as well as to preserve the Karangsari star fruit variety and promote the economy of the community in Karangsari village, most of the people's yards are used as star fruit orchards. Karangsari star fruit harvest is usually sold in the form of fresh fruit. This fresh fruit does not have a long shelf life. During the harvest season, star fruit prices tend to be low. Overripe fruit, defects due to insect bites, and those that do not match the sales size grade are usually just thrown away and not used. As a result, the income of farmers has decreased. The target focus of this community service activity partner is the UMK community group in the Karangsari village. The priority problem from partners is the lack of partner skills in processing star fruit, especially those that do not sell due to overripe or slightly defective (damaged) and do not match the sales size grade. This activity aims to improve the skills of partners in making nata de Averrhoa carambola as a processed product of Karangsari starfruit which can be used as the flagship product of MSEs in Karangsari. In this activity there are several methods carried out, namely (a) providing material on the technique of making nata de Averrhoa carambola, (b) training in making nata de Averrhoa carambola, and (c) assistance in processing nata de Averrhoa carambola so that it becomes ready-to-eat food or drink. for consumption and sale. Through this training activity, the Karangsari UMK group has the understanding and skills in processing starfruit into nata. In addition, the MSE group is motivated to develop superior products from star fruit nata. However, the packaging and labeling of processed nata products is still less attractive to consumers. Therefore, it is necessary to continue with special training related to packaging and labeling of processed nata products that are more attractive and have a selling value.

Abstract

Karangsari has a starfruit picking agrotourism which is managed by the Suryasari community service. The Agrotourism of starfruit provided visitors a very simple and less varied service. The most common package taken by visitors is the starfruit picking package. Meanwhile, the implementation of the education package is still not optimal because the education provided is only a brief explanation about the cultivation of star fruit that is given while walking around the garden while picking the starfruit. Priority partners problems arises are less than optimal services in Agrotourism, especially in education packages, lack of partner skills in processing star fruit, especially star fruit that is overripe or slightly defective (damaged), and not yet optimal digital marketing so that the number of visitors is still limited from the area. local. The purpose of this activity is to empower the Suryasari community service in improving agro-tourism services and marketing through the product-based STAR edutourism model to improve tourism services in Karangsari Belimbing Picking Agrotourism. The methods applied in this activity include: (a) socialization and discussion about the product-based STAR edutourism model, (b) training on how to become an edutourism guide indoors and outdoors, (c) training on making nata de Averhoa carambola, (d) training in technical- digital marketing techniques, and (e) assisting partners in implementing product-based STAR edutourism packages to digital marketing. The results of this service could increase the partner's quality to become indoor and outdoor edutourism guides, increase the partner's ability to process starfruit into nata, and increase the partner's ability in digital marketing as shown by the results of partner responses to training activities that are quite good with 95% reaction level indicators, learning level 87%, behavior level 83%, and result level 80%. PkM activities also increase digital marketing activities by partners with the Karangsari Picking starfruit Agrotourism website. This activity has a positive impact on the Suryasari community service so that it is more qualified and able to provide maximum service for visitors to Karangsari starfruit picking agrotourism, Blitar, East Java.

Abstract

Development in rural areas has become a concern of the central government where in the last decade, the government has disbursed large funds for each village. This village fund is used for development in the village. For this purpose, the validity of village data is very important for the process of analysis and preparation of programs for village development. The priority of development in the village is the spearhead of public services in Indonesia, where the village is in direct contact with the community. The purpose of this activity is to compile basic community data as an effort to update data in Wolosambi Village, East Lio District, Ende Regency. The activity of compiling the basic data profile of the population of Wolosambi Village, Lio Timur District, Ende Regency was carried out through several stages, namely coordination, data collection, data compilation, data processing, preparation of village basic data profile and product delivery. Based on the results of observations and analysis, a Wolosambi Village Profile is produced which includes a general description of the Wolosambi village profile.
