Abstract

The planting training activity with the vertical garden technique at Dukuh Duwet is one of the community service activities carried out by the KKN UNS 97 group. This activity was held on 20 February 2021 offline in Dukuh Duwet. The main targets of this activity are housewives and the general public. The purpose of this activity is as a persuasion movement to the community, especially mothers, about the importance of preserving the beauty and comfort of the surrounding community, as well as a movement for the processing and utilization of plastic waste. The socialization activities were also accompanied by practical activities in the field, namely the provision of plant seeds in the form of vegetables, which were then carried out for each of them. This activity method is non-formal, interactive, and interesting so that it is easy to understand. In addition, the materials and methods of making a vertical garden are easy to find in the neighborhood. The result of this work program is that the community can participate well and enthusiastically. This activity is also meant to inspire the participants to take it more seriously on a larger scale with a wider benefit.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of active student participation in the learning process of physical education, sports and health, so that student learning outcomes are still relatively low. This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of sprinting by applying a play approach in physical education learning in fourth grade students of SD AL QURAN Metro Barat for the 2019/2020 academic year. This type of research is Classroom Action Research. This research was carried out in two cycles, each cycle having 3 meetings. The research subjects were fourth grade students of SD AL QURAN Metro Barat for the 2019/2020 academic year which consisted of 20 students, on the subject of sprinting. Based on the results of data analysis and discussion, it is concluded that the play approach in physical education learning can improve sprint learning outcomes for fourth grade students of SD AL QURAN Metro Barat for the 2019/2020 academic year. This can be seen from the increase in the ability to run fast in the initial conditions (9.675 seconds), cycle I (9.435 seconds) and cycle II (9.24 seconds), so that the increase from the initial condition to cycle II is (0.435 seconds). While the value of mastery learning outcomes in the initial conditions (30%), cycle I (55%) and cycle II (90%), so that the increase from the initial condition to cycle II was (60%).

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of physical education learning at the elementary school level during the COVID-19 pandemic in Jombang Regency. This research is a quantitative descriptive study using one variable without making comparisons with other variables. The method used is a survey using questionnaires and documentation. The population of the study was all the sports teachers in the Physical Education MGMP members as many as 130 teachers throughout Jombang Regency. The research sample was 100 out of a total of 130 sports teachers in Jombang who were randomly selected according to the percentage of the total number of teachers. The measuring instrument used in the variable of the implementation of physical education learning is a questionnaire with a Likert scale which has a weighted score of 1-5. The research sample filled out the questionnaire given by checking the column and assigning weights according to the five alternative answers provided, ranging from strongly agree, agree, hesitate, disagree, and strongly disagree. The scale for statements is favourable and unfavorable. The results showed that the level of implementation of physical education learning at the elementary school level during the COVID-19 pandemic, all elementary school sports teachers in Jombang Regency were in the "very low" category of 8% (8 teachers), "low" of 15.0% (15 teachers), “medium” by 46% (46 teachers), “high” by 26.0% (26 teachers), and “very high” by 5% (5 students). Based on the average score, which is 89.62, the identification of the implementation level of physical education learning at the elementary school level during the COVID-19 Pandemic Period, all elementary school sports teachers in Jombang Regency were at the "medium" level.

Abstract

Community service is the implementation of a fitness exercise program for the Surakarta Healthy Heart Club gymnastics trainer during the covid-19 pandemic. This activity was carried out considering the important role of a healthy heart exercise trainer in an effort to nourish and improve people's fitness so that they have good endurance and avoid transmission of the corona virus. A trainer must have sufficient competence, knowledge and training skills to successfully carry out the vision and mission of the Indonesian Heart Foundation. In connection with the above, the purpose of this activity is to equip trainers with competence, knowledge and training skills for trainers of healthy heart club gymnastics in Surakarta. The materials provided to the gymnastics trainers include training in the preparation of exercise programs, fitness exercise materials, mentoring in the implementation of training during the COVID-19 pandemic and evaluation of physical fitness. The methods used in this activity are: 1) Exposure and discussion of physical fitness material, 2) Demonstration and practice for skills material, namely the practice of compiling an exercise program, practicing fitness and coaching practice with mentoring during P2M. This material is important and urgent to be given to the coach of the Surakarta Healthy Heart Club considering the current situation and conditions, namely the increasingly outbreak of the Covid-19 pandemic in Surakarta and its surroundings.

Abstract

Physical education and sports are a long-term investment in efforts to foster the quality of Indonesian human resources. The development of motion in childhood is very prominent, especially in locomotor, non-locomotor and manipulative abilities. Children perform various basic movements perfectly such as running, jumping, pushing, throwing and others. Improvement or improvement of basic movements occur in childhood. Therefore, alternatives the solution is with game and sport activities. Traditional games boi-boian, baseball, and maccuke contain physical movements or activities, through traditional games in addition to teaching physical movements such as running, jumping, throwing and hitting but also teach sportsmanship and cooperation.This study aims to determine the effect of traditional games on the manipulative motion of students of SD Muhammadiyah Nganjuk in the realm of manipulative movement skills. This research is an experimental research, with a quantitative approach, the Pre experiment design method uses the One Group Pretest-Posttest Design model. The sampling technique uses the cluster method. The sample in this study was 30 students in grade IV at SD Muhammadiyah Nganjuk. Data collection methods in this study used a tennis ball throwing test. This study uses paired sample t-test analysis techniques at a significance level of 0.05 with the help of a computer program SPSS 20.0 for windows. Hypothesis testing is if (Ho) is rejected Sig (2-tailed) <0.05.Analysis results Based on the results of the data analysis above, it can be concluded that the SPSS calculation states that the Sig. (2-tailed)> α obtained by 0.052 and the value of α = 0.05, means 0.052> 0.05. With the results of the calculation of T-count of 20.637 and T table of 1.311. So 20,637> 1,311 so that it can be concluded there is the influence of traditional games on manipulative motion skills in students of SD Muhammadiyah Nganjuk.

Abstract

Movement learning in physical education is divided into cognitive stages, associative stages, and automatic stages. The cognitive stage is the main capital in learning student motion to understand the concept of motion we want. The concept map in this basketball game aims to supplement teaching materials for student basketball games. This study uses a descriptive-quantitative design referring to the Lee Owens development model. The research data is the result of expert validation, small group trials, and large group trials. In the results of the small group trial, a percentage of 82% was obtained, meaning that concept maps could be used. In the large group trial, a percentage result of 84.1% was obtained, meaning that the basketball game concept map was declared fit for use. The suggestions in developing this concept map are that it is hoped that this research will go in a further direction as follows: (1) The research subjects are broader and more in-depth (2) The research is not only carried out at the elementary school level, class V, but all upper classes with big ball learning especially basketball.

Abstract

Tujuan Penelitian ini adalah untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar dribbling bola basket melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada peserta didik kelas VIII-I SMP Negeri 1 Karanganyar Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022.Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan dalam dua siklus, dengan tiap siklusnya terdiri atas dua kali pertemuan. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VIII-I SMP Negeri 1 Karanganyar yang berjumlah 30 peserta didik yang terdiri dari 14 peserta didik putra dan 16 peserta didik putri. Sumber data berasal dari guru, peserta didik, dan peneliti. Teknik pengumpulan data adalah dengan observasi, wawancara, tes, dan dokumentasi atau arsip. Validitas data menggunakan teknik triangulasi yang terdiri dari triangulasi metode, trangulasi sumber, dan triangulasi data. Analisis data menggunakan teknik analisis deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik persentase untuk melihat kecenderungan yang terjadi dalam kegiatan pembelajaran pendidikan jasmani.Hasil analisis data yang terjadi pada pratindakan ke siklus I, dan siklus I ke siklus II dapat disampaikan sebagai berikut: Pada pratindakan hasil belajar dribbling bola basket pada aspek kognitif yang tuntas adalah 11 peserta didik dengan persentase 36%, sedangkan pada aspek psikomotor jumlah peserta didik yang tuntas adalah 15 peserta didik dengan persentase 50% dan pada aspek afektif jumlah peserta didik yang tuntas adalah 30 peserta didik dengan persentase 100%, kemudian pada siklus I hasil belajar dribbling bola basket pada apek kognitif jumlah peserta didik yang tuntas adalah 18 peserta didik dengan persentase 60%, sedangkan pada aspek psikomotor jumlah peserta didik didik yang tuntas adalah 23 peserta didik dengan persentase 76%, selanjutnya pada siklus II hasil belajar dribbling bola basket pada aspek kognitif jumlah peserta didik yang tuntas adalah 24 peserta didik dengan persentase 80%, sedangkan pada aspek psikomotor jumlah peserta didik yang tuntas adalah 27 peserta didik dengan persentase 90%. Hasil belajar dribbling bola basket sudah mencapai target yang ditentukan sehingga tindakan dapat dihentikan pada siklus II. Dari hasil analisis data di atas dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran melalui model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dribbling bola basket pada peserta didik kelas VIII-I SMP Negeri 1 Karanganyar Tahun Pelajaran 2021/2022.Kata Kunci: Hasil Belajar, Dribbling Bola Basket, Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze the effect of sports massage manipulation which is often used as passive recovery by measuring pain intensity using a visual analog scale (VAS) after eccentric exercise. This type of research is quantitative, with a quantitative descriptive design using a questionnaire (VAS), and data analysis method from examining pain intensity before and after manipulation of massage therapy. 54 athletes at the Indonesian National Sports Committee (KONI) in the Sidoarjo district participated as subjects. Using the Descriptive Statistical test before and after the massage therapy manipulation was carried out using the table or graphic diagram method, and the data obtained would be processed using SPSS for Windows v.22. It shows the mean (average) results of respondents' answers from respondents' answers about perceived pain intensity. From the results of testing the normal distribution of data using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov normality test, and then using the Wilcoxon test and the result was that there was a difference between pre and post-giving sport massage after eccentric exercise on pain intensity. From this study, it was concluded that giving sports massages had an effect on reducing pain intensity after eccentric exercise

Abstract

Atlet hockey memiliki empat aspek penting yang harus dipersiapkan dalam menghadapi sebuah kejuaraan diataranya teknik, taktik, fisik dan mental (psikologis). Psikologis seorang atlet yang harus diperhatikan yaitu motivasi dan kepercayaan diri. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui tingkat motivasi dan kepercayaan diri atlet hockey indoor (hoki ruangan) Jawa Timur dalam menghadapi kejuaraan nasional U-21 tahun 2022 serta mengetahui hasil perbandingan tingkat motivasi dan kepercayaan diri antara tim putra dan tim putri. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian adalah 12 atlet putra dan 12 atlet putri hockey indoor Jawa Timur yang akan menghadapi kejuaraan nasional dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik total sampling. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat motivasi putra (58,3%) dan tingkat motivasi putri (41.7%). Sedangkan, tingkat kepercayaan diri putra (58,3%) dan tingkat kepercayaan diri putri (50%). Hasil perbandingan yang dihitung menggunakan independent samples test yaitu motivasi antara putra dan putri dalam menghadapi kejuaraan nasional U-21 Tahun 2022 adalah tidak terdapat perbandingan yang signifikan dikarenakan nilai p-value ≥ 0,05. Sedangkan, kepercayaan diri antara putra dan putri dalam menghadapi kejuaraan nasional U-21 Tahun adalah terdapat perbandingan yang signifikan dikarenakan hasil nilai p-value ≥ 0,05.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of parents' knowledge about nutrition on the nutritional status of elementary school students, The method in this study is a type of experimental research using a quantitative approach with pre-experimental design, because in this study there was no control group. The research place at SDN Tenggiring and the research sample with a total of 26 students, the sample sampling technique in this study is purposive sampling technique. The results of this study Based on the table above, it is explained that the calculation of the significance level used α= 0.05, obtained Sig. (2-tailed) is smaller than α (0.033 < 0.05), so it can be stated that there is a significant effect of parental knowledge about nutrition on students' body mass index. Conclusion Based on the purpose of the study and data analysis of the results of research conducted on "the level of parental knowledge of children's nutritional status", it can be concluded that parents' knowledge about nutrition is good, but not maximum awareness about understanding the food consumed. Awareness about the types, products, processes of these foods is still lacking.
