Abstract

Generation Z is able to have great characteristics and potential to improve their environment which has been damaged by individuals who do not want to protect their own environment. Based on data obtained from the 2020 Waste Management Information System (SIPSS), Bondowoso Regency produces 287.18 tonnes/day of waste. Tangsil Kulon Village is one of the villages in Bondowoso Regency which is also a waste producing area. This increase in waste generation can be overcome by processing waste in several ways, one of which is using the help of Black Soldier Fly (BSF) fly larvae, namely maggots. Community empowerment methods are fully implemented in the field, namely using community education and training methods. This activity was carried out in the context of realizing Tangsil Kulon Village as a Healthy, Environmentally Friendly Village, which was carried out through community counseling and empowerment, namely using community education methods and training and direct practice with assistance from activity facilitators. The results of the activity showed that there was an increase in understanding and skills of the first target regarding how to process inorganic waste using the waste bank method, which was 13.99%, then the second regarding processing organic waste with maggots, namely 5.27%, and the third regarding making fertilizer. compost, namely 10.53%

Abstract

Vocational High Schools should be able to produce entrepreneurs who can create businesses independently for their lives. But in reality, there are some SMK alumni who haven't got a job after graduating from school. This can be avoided from the beginning of their education an interest in entrepreneurship is cultivated so that when they graduate, they can choose to become entrepreneurs. On the other hand, every human activity produces waste (garbage). Excessive waste production can cause problems for the environment. In addition to having an unpleasant smell, flies often infest garbage and can cause disease outbreaks, some of the waste that is abundant in the environment is fruit peel waste. The use of fruit peels in dosage forms is still little done, and product preparations in circulation are still very minimal to be found, even though the use of fruit peels is fairly easy to find, economical and practical. Based on the above conditions, it is necessary to have activities to increase the interest in entrepreneurship for SMK students in harmony with sustainable waste management. One of the alternative activities is Entrepreneurship Training by making organic soap from fruit peel waste. The methods used are identifying partner needs, designing activities, mentoring, implementing, and evaluating sustainability. The result of this training is that students practice directly making organic dish soap, it is hoped that the data will make alternative business products.

Abstract

Indonesia is a country with the largest Muslim population in the world. This affects the culture and patterns of public consumption of halal and thayyib products. The obligation to consume halal food and thayyib in the sharia review of Muslims is written in the Al Quran and Hadith. Demand for halal products and public awareness of purchasing halal products has increased. This is supported by the Regulation of the Minister of Religion of the Republic of Indonesia No. 26 of 2019 in article 27 which states that products that enter, circulate and trade in the territory of Indonesia must be halal certified. List of products that must be halal certified, in the form of products (food, beverages, medicines, cosmetics, chemical-biological-genetically engineered products, and used goods) and services (slaughter, processing, storage, packaging, distribution, sales and presentation). SMKN 5 Jember is one of the vocational high schools in Jember which has produced processed food products such as bread. In an effort to improve product quality and quality, it is necessary to carry out a halal certification process for bread products from the Halal Product Assurance Organizing Agency (BPJPH). This is a strong reason for academics to evaluate the socialization and mentoring activities carried out for students of SMKN 5 Jember so that they can register bakery products so that they have a halal certificate. The socialization method is carried out using 2 ways, namely lectures and question and answer. The evaluation activity was carried out by giving pre-tests (tests before material explanation) and post-tests (tests after material explanations) to students to measure the effect of socialization on students knowledge of SMKN 5 Jember regarding halal products. Based on the test results it was concluded that the socialization activities carried out were able to increase the knowledge of SMKN 5 Jember students regarding the criteria for halal products. In addition, it is hoped that the existence of halal certification for bakery products at SMKN 5 Jember will become an embryo for the formation of halal food in the school area.

Abstract

Petak Village has utilized technology in the form of a village information system. However, this has not provided maximum convenience, especially for the Petak Village community. This is caused by the lack of maximum utilization of the information system in terms of community needs related to village administration. The lack of public knowledge about how to utilize the information system and the lack of outreach, make these features not be used as they should. The public service most often needed by the community is regarding village administration in the form of a statement letter from the village administration. So far, people have had to come directly to the village office and then apply for the certificate. The process of submitting this letter can be made more concise if using technological assistance. The solutions offered to these problems are divided into two types of activities, namely training on the use of technology, especially web-based, in facilitating activities in the village and holding training on the use of technology that has been provided by Petak Village Apparatuses in terms of village administration services for the community. The initial activity that has been carried out is training regarding the use of technology in the form of healthy internet training, namely digital literacy for the people of Petak Village. Evaluation of activities was carried out at the end of the training and showed an increase in the knowledge of the trainees by 4.875. The second service activity is training in the use of village information systems in submitting letters. The results of the evaluation of community service activities are 51% of community service activities which are stated to be very good.

Improving your health status can be done by getting used to living a clean and healthy lifestyle. The Clean and Healthy Living Behaviour (CHLB) must be promoted in school health programs related to personal hygiene and environmental sanitation to prevent disease in the school environment. Getting students used to practicing PHBS at school can be used as a foundation for health behaviour. This community service activity was carried out at SD Glagahwero 2 Jember which was attended by all students from class 1 to class 6. Education was carried out through counselling by providing explanations about how PHBS should be applied in daily life both at home, school and other public places. As well as explaining the benefits of implementing CHLB which are applied in everyday life. After counselling on the snakes and ladders educational game, students are trained to be able to answer or make decisions according to the problems/questions given in the game. The increase in knowledge that students receive about CHLB can be seen from the students' ability to answer questions correctly, this will support students' clean and healthy living habits so that they can improve the level of health in society.

Abstract

Improving human resource skills is one of the pillars in determining the increase in quality and quantity of production in a business. In the coffee plantation business sector, the skills of coffee farmers play an important role in the production process. The operation of the machines used is an absolute requirement for achieving effectiveness and efficiency in the process. One of them is a coffee drying machine obtained by the Sumber Kembang farmer group from previous community service activities. This must be accompanied by operating skills so that in this service activity training will be carried out on the use of coffee drying machines. The methods used were surveys, training and discussions. The result of this service activity is the achievement of increasing the skills of coffee farmers in terms of operating coffee drying machines. Achievement of service activities is carried out by providing feedback to partners in the form of questionnaires. The results of the questionnaire showed that respondents from partner members mostly gave positive responses to service activities in the form of coffee drying machine training.

The study aimed to assess cybersecurity awareness among university students in Vadodara, India, using the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB) framework. The study involved 242 students from selected universities, selected using a snowball sampling method. Data was collected through Google Forms and email, and the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS) programme was used for statistical analysis. The majority of students were young (18-23 years old), with moderate internet usage and primary digital competency skills. Only 17% reported experiencing issues during cyber surfing. The study found that most students had low awareness, lower knowledge, and negative perceptions about cybersecurity. Most students followed unsafe cybersecurity practices and had a negative attitude towards cybersecurity. The study also examined the correlation between TPB constructs.
