Abstract

Program kerja unggulan bidang ekonomi ini dilaksanakan dengan fokus pada panen dan distribusi jeruk sunkist sebagai upaya pengenalan produk pra pemasaran. Kegiatan ini dilatarbelakangi oleh potensi jeruk sunkist sebagai komoditas bernilai ekonomi tinggi yang belum optimal dalam strategi pemasaran di masyarakat. Tujuan utama program adalah memperkenalkan kualitas produk secara langsung kepada konsumen sekaligus memberikan pengalaman praktis bagi masyarakat dalam tahapan pra pemasaran. Metode kegiatan meliputi pemanenan, pengemasan sederhana, hingga distribusi jeruk sunkist ke sejumlah titik sasaran. Hasil yang diperoleh menunjukkan adanya respon positif dari masyarakat terhadap kualitas jeruk, serta memberikan gambaran strategi awal pemasaran produk hortikultura berbasis lokal. Pelaksanaan program kerja ini menggunakan pendekatan pengabdian masyarakat yaitu Asset Based Community Development (ABCD), berhasil mendorong partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengembangan produk hortikultura lokal. Dengan demikian, kegiatan ini menjadi langkah awal dalam membangun kesadaran pasar dan mendukung pengembangan ekonomi berbasis hasil pertanian

Abstract

This study aims to empower the community of Plosokerep Village by enhancing skills in food product diversification and digital packaging design. The main problems faced by the partners are the lack of innovation in processing hydroponic pakcoy vegetables and limited abilities in promotional design. This community service program employed the Participatory Action Research (PAR) method with a Service Learning (SL) approach, emphasizing the active involvement of the community as partners. The activities included training in the development of innovative products such as pakcoy noodles and pakcoy nuggets, as well as training in business logo design using the Canva application. The results indicated an improvement in participants’ skills in both food processing and digital graphic design, which contributed to increasing the selling value and competitiveness of the products. Furthermore, the program had positive impacts on the economic independence of greenhouse groups and health cadres, strengthened social solidarity, and supported community nutrition education. It is recommended that this program be further developed through advanced training in digital marketing, product quality evaluation, and diversification of pakcoy-based food products to encourage the sustainability of community-based enterprises.

Abstract

The MIT 20 Posko 47 UIN Walisongo Community Service Program (KKN) aims to support the acceleration of digital transformation of MSMEs in Sumogawe Village, known as “Kampung Susu” (Milk Village) with great creative economic potential. Through a qualitative case study approach, this research analyzes the role of students as facilitators, educators, and motivators in assisting MSME actors. Data collection methods included in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies, with data analysis following the Miles and Huberman model. The results showed that student assistance successfully increased the digital visibility of MSMEs through the implementation of Google My Business (GMB) and QRIS, strengthened business branding with Metromedia Technologies (MMT), and improved the digital literacy of business actors. Support from village officials and the enthusiasm of MSMEs were key contributing factors, although challenges such as time constraints, disparities in digital literacy, and uneven internet infrastructure still hindered the optimization of the program. This program contributed significantly to improving the competitiveness of MSMEs in the creative economy era and supported the achievement of sustainable development goals (SDGs).

Abstract

The project-based Field Experience Program (PPL) at the Ar-Rohmah Mosque was implemented as a form of community service aimed at optimizing the mosque's financial management system to make it more structured, transparent, and accountable. This activity utilized interviews, observations, and participatory discussions with administrators to uncover real-world needs. The activity included preparation, project implementation, monitoring and guidance, coordination with partners, report preparation and evaluation, and presentation of project results to the supervising lecturer and partners.The results demonstrated that students were able to design a simple digital-based financial report template using Microsoft Excel, assist the treasurer in its use, and compile a final report that can serve as a guideline for sustainable mosque financial management. The activity also successfully documented the entire process, including daily reports, photos, and videos, providing evidence of program implementation. Partners' active participation was evident at every stage, from planning to evaluation, demonstrating the community's full involvement in supporting the project's success. In addition to producing technical output in the form of a financial recording system, this activity also has social impacts, namely increased awareness of the congregation regarding the importance of transparency, the growth of management behavior that is more meticulous in financial recording, and the emergence of local leaders who play a role in the implementation of the new system. Thus, this project-based PPL activity is not only beneficial for partners, but also serves as a learning tool for students to apply knowledge in the community, while simultaneously encouraging social transformation towards better mosque governance.

Abstract

Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises in Palangka Raya City, including the Molen Onde-Onde Mini Kangen business, face the challenges of digital literacy and weak branding, thereby limiting market expansion. This community service activity focuses on assisting digital marketing and branding strategies to overcome this issue. The aim is to increase digital marketing capacity, create a strong brand identity, and expand the business' market reach. The method used includes intensive mentoring for six weeks with a participatory approach, consisting of initial observation, Instagram social media marketing training, logo and visual identity design, creation of promotional content in the form of videos, as well as implementation and evaluation. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in partners' understanding of digital marketing, the creation of a new logo and business Instagram account, as well as an increase in daily income from IDR 800,000 to IDR 1,200,000. This activity proves that structured assistance can empower business actors to adopt digital strategies effectively and sustainably.

Abstract

Karimunjawa is a place famous for its natural beauty, attracting many local and foreign tourists. In addition to its tourism potential, Karimunjawa also has a community of MSMEs in various sectors, one of which is the fish cracker processing sector. However, from the field observations conducted by the community service team, it was found that many MSMEs still experience problems with productivity, weak product branding, and customers having difficulty finding business locations. One of the MSMEs experiencing this is the Karimunjawa specialty cracker MSME owned by Mrs. Supatmah. The community service team implemented several programs to address these issues, including registering the business address on Google Maps, obtaining halal certification and legal NIB registration, creating a Shopee account, and strengthening branding through product logos and rebranding on labels and packaging. Based on the evaluation results, the assisted SMEs experienced increased customer trust, expanded market reach, and were able to compete with similar SMEs that were already established.

Abstract

The women's empowerment program through hand-knitting craft training was chosen because the process is relatively easy, flexible, and affordable. The community service method used a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach, encouraging active participation from planning to evaluation. The results showed that 20 participants from various women's organizations in Lumajang District successfully mastered basic crochet stitches and produced completed crochet wallets and accessories. The training received positive responses, equipping women with skills to create valuable products for potential entrepreneurship.

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in the national economy, including in Karangasem Regency, Bali. One active business player in this region is UD. Kusuma Bali Mandiri, Karangasem Branch, which is facing challenges in preparing financial reports in accordance with the Financial Accounting Standards for Entities Without Public Accountability (SAK EP). The manual recording of transactions results in low-quality financial information, hampering decision-making, access to financing, and business performance evaluation. In response, a team of lecturers from the Denpasar Academy of Finance and Banking (AKABA) conducted community service activities in the form of training on preparing financial reports based on SAK EP. This activity aims to improve the understanding and skills of MSMEs in preparing accurate, systematic financial reports in accordance with accounting standards. The implementation method included lectures, practical tutorials using spreadsheet software, and interactive discussion sessions oriented to partner needs. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in participants' ability to understand basic accounting concepts and the application of SAK EP in financial recording. Through this training, it is hoped that MSMEs will be able to implement more professional and transparent financial governance and support business sustainability. This program also serves as a tangible form of higher education's contribution to community empowerment and improving financial literacy in the region.

Abstract

Effective and transparent management of cash waqf is a crucial component in supporting the sustainability and development of social institutions, including Islamic hospitals. Zainab Hospital Pekanbaru, as a sharia-based healthcare institution, requires a comprehensive understanding of the mechanisms, regulations, and potential optimization of cash waqf to improve service quality and provide better healthcare facilities for the community, particularly the underprivileged (dhuafa). This community service activity aims to enhance the knowledge and awareness of the staff, management, and nazhir (waqf managers) at Zainab Hospital regarding the management of cash waqf in accordance with sharia principles and applicable regulations. The methods used in this program include counseling, interactive discussions, and case simulations. The results show an improvement in participants’ understanding of the concept of cash waqf, the role of nazhir, and the legal-formal procedures involved in its management. This educational initiative is expected to serve as a foundation for Zainab Hospital to implement a professional and sustainable cash waqf program, considering the significant potential of waqf as a source of financing for healthcare services.

Abstract

This community service program was implemented to address the low level of digital marketing skills among young entrepreneurs of Karang Taruna in Paji Village, which has hindered the optimal development of local business potential. The program focuses on strengthening participants’ abilities in utilizing electronic commerce and social media as platforms for promoting village products. The purpose of this program is to improve participants’ skills in creating online stores, applying product image-building strategies, and developing digital content-based promotion. The approach used includes basic training on digital marketing concepts, direct assistance to ensure the practical application of skills in managing online marketing accounts, and evaluation of program outcomes. The program resulted in improved participant capabilities in creating online stores, producing promotional content, and establishing community-based marketing networks. The impact of the activities is reflected in the expanded marketing reach and strengthened identity of local products, although several challenges such as differences in technological proficiency and limited internet access were still encountered.
