Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMA Negeri 1 Kutasari, Kab.Purbalingga, Jawa Tengah yang membahas mengenai penerapan model pembelajaran berbasis proyek (PJBL) dan PBL. Rumusan masalah pada artikel ini yaitu: 1) Bagaimana kondisi pembelajaran sejarah sebelum menggunakan model PJBL atau PBL, 2) Bagaimana respon siswa setelah diterapkan model PJBL atau PBL didalam kelas dalam pembelajaran sejarah, 3) Bagaimana gagasan inovasi dalam penerapan model pembelajaran di lingkungan SMA Negeri 1 Kutasari khususnya pada pembelajaran Sejarah. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu deskriptif kualitatif dengan jenis teknik pengumpulan data studi pustaka atau library research. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pencapaian hasil belajar siswa, mengetahui bagaimana siswa menyikapi dan membentuk kerangka berpikir yang kritis dalam suatu peristiwa sejarah yang menjadi topik dalam setiap pertemuan pembelajaran. Selain itu juga untuk bisa melakukan pengembangan model pembelajaran sejarah PBL dan PJBL supaya dapat lebih efektif dan efisien dalam penerapannya. Hasil penelitian ini yaitu penggunaan model pembelajaran PJBL dan PBL di SMA Negeri 1 Kutasari yaitu penerapan model PJBL dan PBL memberikan gamabran yang lebih luas mengenai pembelajaran sejarah yang diajarkan dikelas, peserta didik diharapkan dapat berkontribusi dan berperan aktif dalam setiap pembelajaran serta dilakukan berbagai inovasi supaya peserta didik memiliki antusias dan minat ayang tinggi dalam setiap mata pelajaran yang ada sehingga hasil belajar peserta didik tinggi.

Abstract

This research oriented from many behaviors phenomenon which is caused by low of students’ nasionalism attitude such as students less using Indonesian language well and correctly, it is found that many students do not want to participate in flag ceremony well and correctly. At the last appears the questions does history learning has been implemented well, then why students’ nasionalism attitude still low. Therefore, the purposes of this research are to define how the efforts of students nationalism building through history learning. The type of this research is qualitative research with case study approach. Abstract

One of the criteria that can show the civilization of a nation can be seen from its cultural heritage. One of the form of cultural heritage is Surowono Temple that is located on Kediri Regency. The condition of Surowono Temple is not well maintained and have very few visitors become reason that makes the research about this temple is very important to do. Whereas, Surowono temple is not too far from Kampung Inggris that always crowd as a destination to learn English language. This research aims to (1) know the history background of Surowono Temple, (2) know the story and character value of Sri Tanjung’s relief, (3) implemented the story and character value of the relief to become Wayang Sri Tanjung as a form of Surowono Temple conservation. This research uses qualitative methods. The data obtained is the result from interview, direct observation, documentation, and literature study. This result of this research show that: first, Surowono Temple is a monument from Majapahit Kingdom as a place of King Hayam Wuruk’s uncle funeral called Bhre Wengker. Second, Sri Tanjung’s relief describing sadness and regret Sidapaksa after kill his wife, Sri Tanjung. Murder is happen because Sri Tanjung slandered has been seduced King Sulakrama. From that story, we can take the value of loyalty and trust to the spouse. Third, the character value inside Sri Tanjung’s relief on Surowono Temple will be implemented through interesting media of wayang as a form of Surowono Temple conservation to the visitors of Kampung Inggris, youth organization, or can be added into the school learning. Wayang Sri Tanjung will be featured in 4 stages which is accompanied by Kidung Sri Tanjung as a companion song and will be narrated into English Language and Indonesian Language as a form of Pare subdistrict locality.

Abstract

Tulisan ini membahas historiografi Islam di Indonesia dengan fokus pada metode penulisan sejarah, pengaruh sastra tradisional, dan topik-topik yang relevan. Historiografi Islam di Indonesia berkembang melalui perubahan metode penelitian sejarah yang mencakup heuristik, kritik, interpretasi, dan historiografi yang di kumpulkan dari berbagai sumber seperti Buku, artikel, penelitian dan dokumen lainnya yang membahas mengenais tema tentang historiografi islam di Indonesia. Dalam konteks penulisan sejarah Islam Indonesia, metode penulisan dapat dibedakan menjadi dua: pertama, melihat sejarah Islam sebagai bagian tak terpisahkan dari sejarah umat Islam global, dan kedua, menekankan bahwa sejarah Islam Indonesia harus dipahami sebagai bagian integral dari sejarah nasional Indonesia. Beberapa teori menjelaskan cara Islam masuk ke wilayah nusantara, termasuk melalui India, Persia, dan langsung dari Mekkah dan Madinah. Pola awal sejarah penulisan Islam di Indonesia mencakup berbagai bentuk seperti hikayat, khabar, tambo, dan silsilah. Topik dalam historiografi Islam di Indonesia mencakup sejarah lokal, aspek-universal, dan biografi tokoh. Sejarawan membangun kembali sejarah Islam Indonesia dengan mengandalkan berbagai sumber, termasuk catatan sejarah tradisional, catatan kolonial Belanda, dan historiografi modern.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya motivasi belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran sejarah di MAN 1 Pasaman Barat dikarenakan model pembelajaran yang digunakan oleh pendidik saat ini kurang divariasikan sehingga peserta didik mengalami kejenuhan pada saat belajar. Oleh karena itu diperlukan model pembelajaran yang dapat mengaktifkan motivasi belajar peserta didik, salah satunya dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran Talking Stick. Model pembelajaran ini lebih efektif dan dapat meningkatkan motivasi belajar peserta didik. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh model pembelajaran Talking Stick terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran sejarah di kelas XI IPS Madrasah Aliyah Negeri 1 Pasaman Barat. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen. Jenis eksperimen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Quasi Eksperiment dan desain Static gruop Comparison dengan menggunakan dua kelas yaitu kelas XI IPS 1 dan kelas XI IPS 2. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini berupa angket. Populasi penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI IPS di MAN 1 Pasaman Barat. Teknik sampel yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu teknik sampling jenuh (total sampling) sehingga jumlah sampelnya adalah 60 orang peserta didik. Teknik analisis data penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan uji normalitas, homogenitas dan uji hipotesis. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perolehan rata-rata hasil post angket di kelas eksperimen adalah 135, 00 sedangkan rata-rata hasil post angket di kelas kontrol adalah 99,80. Pada pengujian hipotesis diperoleh nilai sig (2 tailed) adalah sebesar 0.000 < 0.05. Maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak, sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh model pembelajaran talking stick terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik dalam mata pelajaran sejarah kelas XI IPS MAN 1 Pasaman Barat

Abstract

Peranakan Eropa-Hindia atau cenderung Jawa disebut juga dengan Indo, di mana mereka mengalami kehidupan yang tidak mudah. Diskriminasi rasial hingga sebutan “anak kolong” melekat dan bertahan selama Eropa bertahta di Hindia. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji sejarah di balik adanya isu diskriminasi rasial yang menjadi fenomena sosial tak asing di Hindia Belanda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa sebutan “anak kolong” melekat pada anak-anak Indo dan bermula akibat adanya praktik pergundikan yang diperankan para nyai telah meresahkan dan mengkhawatirkan orang-orang Eropa di Hindia. Lebih-lebih, kelahiran Indo atau peranakan Eropa-Hindia memunculkan adanya sentimen dan diskriminasi rasial dalam pergaulan sehari-hari di zaman Hindia Belanda.

Abstract

The cultural heritage building, the Kavallerie-Artillerie building, has become a medium for historical exploration as an important building of its time that represents the toughness and splendor of the Mangkunegaran Legion. This article aims to examine the history behind the Kavallerie-Artillerie, a bit of the historical story about the Mangkunegaran Legion, architectural art and the current condition of the Kavallerie-Artillerie. The results of this research show that the Mangkunegara Legion is a special military unit owned by the Mangkunegaran Duchy and is considered by historians to be the first indigenous army unit in Indonesia, where their main headquarters is called the Kavallerie-Artillerie. In fact, both the information about the heritage building and the Mangkunegaran Legion, as well as the current condition of this cultural heritage building appear to have been untouched by the authorities' revitalization agenda and its function as a residential area for local residents.

Abstract

This article aims to describe the preservation of the western traditions of Kalinyamatan Jepara after the pandemic. This research uses qualitative research methods, namely research that is presented descriptively by describing the events that occurred. This tradition is religious in nature and upholds Islamic teachings and respects local cultural traditions. Forms of the Western tradition include processions of offerings, reading tahlil, and praying together. The meaning of the Baratan tradition is as a form of self- purification to welcome the holy month of Ramadan, respect for Sultan Hadlirin, and a request for safety from Allah SWT. The pandemic caused western traditions to stop, because it was feared that they could spread widely, and western traditions began to be preserved after the pandemic in the spring and kriyan villages of Kalinyamtan Jepara. The function of the Western tradition is as a means of friendship, cultural preservation and tourism development. Keywords: Tradition; Baratan; Pandemic.

Abstract

The Akit tribe in Bengkalis has undergone significant socio-cultural transformations in the era of globalization. This study explores the complex processes through which the Akit community navigates changes in their identity, traditions, and social structures. The research examines the impact of global influences on local customs by investigating how external pressures and internal dynamics have reshaped the tribe's cultural landscape. Through a comprehensive analysis of historical and contemporary data, the study highlights the resilience and adaptability of the Akit people in preserving their heritage while integrating new cultural elements. The findings contribute to a broader understanding of the impact of globalization on indigenous communities, offering insights into the challenges and opportunities faced by the Akit tribe in maintaining their cultural identity in a rapidly changing world. Additionally, this research contributes to academic literature by providing new perspectives on cultural adaptation, sharpening the discourse on cultural sustainability in the modern era, and offering practical recommendations for policymakers in designing strategies that support the preservation of local cultures amidst the currents of globalization. The study's contributions are significant in fostering a deeper appreciation of the delicate balance between cultural preservation and adaptation, ensuring that the unique cultural identity of the Akit tribe is not lost but rather enriched through the thoughtful incorporation of global influences. By examining the Akit tribe's experiences, this research underscores the importance of culturally sensitive approaches in policy-making and highlights the role of indigenous knowledge in shaping sustainable development pathways.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the deep historical connections between Minangkabau and Negeri Sembilan, two regions with rich cultural heritage in the archipelago. We explore the traces of this heritage to uncover the historical significance of Minangkabau in the formation and development of Negeri Sembilan's culture. The research method involved in-depth historical analyses as well as a careful literature review, which helped us understand the influence that Minangkabau culture has had on the social structure, customary system, values and traditions of the people of Negeri Sembilan. Our results show that this historical footprint reflects not only cultural adoption, but also the complex interaction between Minangkabau and Negeri Sembilan, which has shaped a rich and unique cultural identity in the history of the archipelago. Research findings reveal the deep-rooted nature of this cultural relationship, starting from the early arrival of Minangkabau people in Negeri Sembilan during the 15th and 16th centuries, to diplomatic relations with Raja Mahmud of Pagaruyung in 1773. The historical significance of Minangkabau in Negeri Sembilan culture has important relevance in understanding the cultural dynamics of the region.
