<![CDATA[The rice crop yields in Daterejo Village are erratic from year to year, and farmers often suffer losses. The outbreak of brown planthoppers is one of the threats feared by rice farmers in Daterejo Village. The community service carried out aims to provide knowledge on how to detect early and control brown planthoppers in rice cultivation areas. Service activities were carried out in Daterejo Village, Mojoagung District, Jombang Regency, East Java Province. Implementation of community service activities will be carried out in September 2023. The implementation method for this community service activity uses the Participatory Action Research method. Action and participatory methods are implemented in socialization activities among farmer groups and also training in operationalizing the brown planthopper early detection tool. The community service carried out is by implementing appropriate technology for early detection of brown planthopper insect pests. This early detection tool for insect pests actually has several benefits, including knowing the population of brown planthopper pests in rice clumps. In the socialization, tools for detecting insect pests in rice clumps were explained, and the life cycle of brown planthopper pest insects on rice plants. The hope is that farmers will be able to detect it early when rice planting is taking place, so that there will be no crop failure caused by attacks by brown planthopper pests.]]>

<![CDATA[The Jember State Polytechnic Coffee Product Processing Teaching Factory focuses on ground coffee made from Robusta and Argopuro Arabica coffee. Increasing its existence as a small industry requires binding legalization of products and consistency from human resources who carry out an industry-based work culture, in this case, contained in the legalization of BPOM. Therefore, this service focuses on introducing an industry-based work environment (BPOM). The methods used in this service include counseling and direct practice at Tefa locations where coffee products are processed. Based on the service results, the human resources involved in Tefa's coffee product processing operations are enthusiastic in the counseling process and have a high interest in changing behavior in implementing an industry-based work environment.]]>

<![CDATA[Agriculture is something that cannot be separated from the lives of Indonesian people where most of the people are farmers. More specifically, the people of Tejo village are mostly farmers who make a living, therefore fertilizer is their daily companion. Most farmers in Indonesia still depend on the use of inorganic or chemical fertilizers even though excessive use of inorganic fertilizers in the long term will actually cause negative effects. The application of excessive doses of synthetic chemical fertilizers can cause environmental pollution, moreover, continuous use for a long time can cause land productivity to decrease and soil fertilizing microorganisms to decrease. One of the non-chemical fertilizers that can be used is organic fertilizer in liquid form (POC) from onion peel waste and rice washing water where the excess more quickly stimulates the growth of roots, new shoots and plant cells, repairs chlorophyll in leaves, strengthens pollen stalks in flowers, and strengthens endurance in plants. From the results of the recapitulation of the Pre-test questionnaire, 56% increased by 33% with the socialization to 86% of the results of the recapitulation of the Post-test questionnaire.]]>

<![CDATA[The purpose of this service is to provide interesting material treats for students. Because with this, the teacher can convey an overview of the material being taught visibly, so that students can understand the material concretely and create a more effective and interactive learning environment. scrapbook learning at SDN Balongsari which is the target of community service activities. The method of approach to community service in Balongsari village is Participatory Action Research (PAR) which aims to learn in dealing with problems and meeting the practical needs of partners, as well as generating knowledge and encouraging social change in the religious realm. The results of the service show that the socialization and media making activities increase the creativity of educators at SDN Balongsari as a means or learning media. Socialization activities and making scrapbook learning media are very useful for increasing students' interest in learning so that they are not bored when learning in class. Socialization and making scrapbook learning media involving teachers so that teachers understand learning media that attracts learning interest for their students. The products produced in the socialization and making of this learning media are in the form of creative books or scrapbooks which contain some material about prayer procedures arranged in such a way with interesting decorations and trinkets.]]>

<![CDATA[In the context of urban agriculture, the utilization of livestock waste is key to improving the quality of agricultural land. Liquid organic fertilizer is one of the products derived from dairy farm waste and other organic materials. This article discusses a community service program run in Murukan Village, which is the center of dairy farming and has great potential in farm waste management. Although cow's milk is the identity of this village, farm waste that has the potential to be used to improve agriculture is still underutilized. In order to optimize the use of livestock waste, the community service team designed and conducted training with the theme "Optimizing the Utilization of Dairy Farm Waste as an Effort to Improve the Quality of POC-Based Agricultural Land." The objectives of this community service program are: (1) Provide an understanding to the service subjects about the utilization of dairy milk waste as the main media for POC as a support for the quality of agricultural land (2) increase the skills of making POC from dairy milk waste. (3) provide motivation to farmers not to depend on synthetic chemical fertilizers. The Asset Based Communities Development (ABCD) approach is used in this program, which focuses on identifying existing assets in the community to support empowerment efforts. The results of this activity show an increase in the understanding and skills of the local community in pete waste management.]]>

<![CDATA[Peternak adalah orang yang melakukan budidaya hewan seperti sapi, ayam, kambing atau sebagainya permasalahan yang sering dihadapi oleh peternak adalah cara untuk memanfaatkan limbah kotoran ternak. Padahal Pemanfaatan kotoran hewan ternak bisa dijadikan gas pengganti lpg. Oleh karena itu kegiatan pengabdian maasyarakat dilakukan untuk membantu peternak agar bisa memanfaatkan limbah kotoran sapi menjadi gas melalui sosialisai pembuatan gas dari kotoran sapi. Kegiatan ini dilakukan pada hari selasa tanggal 12 September 2023 dengan sasaran kegiatan masyarakat desa sudimoro yang terdiri dari Organisasi gabungan kelompok tani dan para peternak. Kegiatan ini terbagi menjadi dua tahapan, pertama sosialisasi cara memanfaatkan limbah kotoran menjadi gas dan kedua praktek cara pembuatan gas dari limbah kotoran.Hasil yang di dapat dari rata- rata presentasi ialah 80% , yang artinya kegiatan sosialisasi tersebut memiliki dampak yang positf terhadap masyarakat, khususnya Masyarakat, dengan dampak positif yang diperoleh maka peternak diharapkan mampu untuk mengelolah limbah dengan baik guna bisa menjadikan kotoran ternak menjadi bahan yang berguna untuk Masyarakat seperti gas.]]>

<![CDATA[The lack of public understanding in the use of natural materials in making environmentally friendly pesticides is the basis for holding outreach to the Gambiran Village Farmers Group (POKTAN). Through this activity, it is hoped that farmers can increase their understanding of using natural materials to create works and not incur large costs because they can use materials that are easily accessible for products. This activity was carried out at the Gambiran village sports hall, Mojoagung Jombang on September 7, 2023. The target of this activity was the Gambiran Village farmer group with a total of 6 participants who were able to attend. This workshop and training was accompanied by resource person Mrs. Suhartini, SP, MM. as a lecturer at KH University. A. Wahab Hasbullah Jombang. The approach method in this activity includes lecture methods, discussions, question and answer sessions and practice in front of training participants directly. The results of this socialization received a positive response which can be seen from the results of the training, namely increasing the enthusiasm of residents to be enthusiastic about making vegetable pesticides.]]>

<![CDATA[Melalui pelatihan pembuatan Alat Teknologi terbarukan yang bertemakan “Alat pengukur kesuburan tanah sederhana†diharapkan memberikan suatu inovasi kepada petani berupa alat pengukur kesuburan tanah sederhana. Juga untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan dan pemahaman para petani terhadap inovasi terbarukan dalam mengefektifkan pekerjaan di bidang pertanian. Permasalahan petani di desa Jphowinong adalah menurunnya lahan produksi pertanian karena kurangnya pengetahuan dan informasi tentang tingkat kesuburan tanah pada lahan pertanian, kualitas sumber daya manusia serta pemahaman teknologi yang sangat rendah, sehingga para petani mengalami kesulitan untuk mengembangkan inovasi-inovasi terbarukan dalam pengukuran kesuburan tanah. Metode pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat in menggunakan Service Learning (SL), diantaranya sosialisasi pelatihan pembuatan Teknologi alat tepat guna pengukuran kesuburan tanah sederhana dan tanya jawab dari berbagai peserta Gapoktan. Pelaksanaan kegiatan pengabdian pada masyarakat ini dilakukan di rumah kepala dusun Johowinong desa Johowinong dengan di dampingi perangkat desa dan ketua kelompok serta dosen pendamping lapangan. dilaksanakan pada tanggal 1 September 2023 dalam bentuk sosialisasi, pelatihan, dan pendampingan melalui tatap muka secara langsung. Produk teknologi alat pengukur kesuburan tanah sederhana memiliki pengaruh dalam proses pekerjaan pertanian karena dapat memudahkan hasil pekerjaan para petani dalam pengelolahan budidaya tanaman jagung dan tebu agar mendapatkan hasil yang optimal, Keberlanjutan program ini perlu dikomunikasikan dan dikoordinaskan dengan pihak Desa dan Ketua Gapoktan desa Johowinong Kecamatan Mojoagung, sehingga dalam jangka waktu kedepannya kegiatan ini akan dilakukan melalui kegiatan pendampingan pembuatan alat pengukur kesuburan tanah sederhana.]]>

<![CDATA[Kegiatan sosialisasi ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan para kelompok tani di Desa Karobelah, Kecamatan Mojoagung, Kabupaten Jombang dalam pemanfaatan limbah jagung serta mengurangi limbah jagung yang dihasilakan setelah pasca panen. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di Balai Desa Karobelah dengan jumlah sekitar 10 orang, pada tanggal 14 September 2023 beserta narasumber dari Dosen Fakultas Pertanian Universitas KH. A. Wahab Hasbullah yaitu Bapak Agus Suhadi, S.P, M.P. Mitra yang terlibat dalam sosialisasi ini adalah kelompok petani di Desa Karobelah. Metode pendekatan untuk pelaksanaan kegiatan meliputi metode wawancara, diskusi, dan pengembangan. Menggunakan metode kerja sama melalui bentuk sosialisasi, peragaan, dan pendampingan secara intensif sampai dapat terbentuknya pupuk kompos untuk tanaman para petani. Hasil dari sosialisasi ini memberikan tambahan wawasan dan pengetahuan serta keterampilan para kelompok tani Desa Karobelah terkait pemanfataan limbah jagung, mengurangi limbah tongkol jagung dan membantu para petani untuk meningkatkan produktivitas pertanian.]]>

<![CDATA[Lamkareung Village is a village located in Indrapuri District, Aceh Besar Regency. There are several commodities produced by Lamkareung Village, including fruit and fronds. Based on the discussion with the service team, the fruit palm fruit will be processed because it is easy to process and the consumers can come from various groups. The Head of Lam Kareung Village hopes that the fruit fruit fruit commodity can increase its selling value, and increase income for residents. It can also become a typical food of LamKareung village. The partners accompanied were representatives of village officials. This was done on the advice of the Head of LamKareung village because it was considered that these women were cadres and representatives who would later be able to pass on the knowledge gained to other residents. This service focuses on helping residents make processed palm fruit in the form of natural coloring crackers. As a result of the assistance and training carried out by the team, residents can make candied fruit and fronds with natural colors and use a cutting machine.]]>
