Abstract

This study examines the strategic digital transformation of PT BPR BDE over a five-year period (2020–2024) through a structured roadmap analysis aligned with Kotter’s 8-Step Change Model. Positioned within the context of rural banking in Indonesia, the research utilizes content analysis of institutional documents, promotional materials, and regulatory frameworks to map organizational change year-by-year. Findings reveal that transformation is not solely driven by technological deployment, but by internal readiness, leadership commitment, communicative strategies, and regulatory compliance. The integration of Kotter’s framework with behavioral adoption theory (UTAUT2) and qualitative content interpretation (Krippendorff) offers a robust methodological model for evaluating digitalization in microfinance settings. PT BPR BDE’s approach demonstrates how strategic alignment and digital storytelling can institutionalize cultural change and enhance stakeholder engagement. This study contributes both theoretically and practically to strategic change management discourse in resource-constrained financial institutions.

Abstract

Cesarean section is a surgical procedure to deliver a fetus through an incision in the abdominal wall and uterus, which generally uses spinal anesthesia. One innovation to accelerate postoperative recovery is the Enhanced Recovery After Cesarean Surgery (ERACS) method, which integrates pre-, intra-, and postoperative management to accelerate patient mobilization. Assessment of motor recovery after spinal anesthesia can be measured using the Bromage Score. This study aimed to compare the time to achieve the Bromage Score as an indicator of patient mobilization after spinal anesthesia in cesarean section surgery with the ERACS method and non-ERACS at Hermina Padang General Hospital. This study used a comparative analytical design with a cross-sectional approach. The sample consisted of 36 patients who underwent cesarean section surgery with spinal anesthesia at Hermina Padang General Hospital, which were divided into two groups: 18 patients with the ERACS method and 18 patients with the non-ERACS method. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately using the independent t-test if the data were normally distributed and the Mann-Whitney test if the data were not normally distributed. Most patients were aged 26–35 years (80.6%), with the majority being nulliparous and primiparous (38.9%), and the majority having never undergone a cesarean section (55.6%). The mean time to achieve the Bromage Score showed that the ERACS group recovered faster than the non-ERACS group. The test results showed no significant difference in Bromage Score 3 (p = 0.825), but significant differences in Bromage Score 2 (p = 0.039), Bromage Score 1 (p = 0.000), and Bromage Score 0 (p = 0.046). The ERACS method has been shown to accelerate lower extremity motor recovery after spinal anesthesia compared to the non-ERACS method in cesarean section patients at Hermina Padang Hospital.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic necessitated the implementation of rapid, safe, and non-invasive body temperature screening methods to facilitate early identification of potentially infectious individuals. Non-contact infrared thermometers have therefore been widely adopted for this purpose. However, concerns have been raised regarding the accuracy of temperature measurements obtained from different anatomical sites, particularly in the context of increased reliance on alternative measurement locations such as the back of the hand (dorsum manus regio). This study aimed to compare body temperature measurements obtained from the forehead and dorsum manus using a non-contact infrared thermometer, with axillary temperature measured by a digital thermometer as a reference. An analytical observational study with repeated measures was conducted among 70 third-year medical students at Universitas Baiturrahmah. Temperature measurements were performed at the forehead, dorsum manus, and axilla, and participants were divided into control and intervention groups based on environmental measurement conditions. Repeated measures ANOVA revealed significant differences between forehead temperature and both dorsum manus and axillary temperatures, while no significant difference was observed between dorsum manus and axillary measurements. Independent t-tests showed no significant differences between control and intervention groups. These findings suggest that dorsum manus temperature measurements may approximate axillary values under stable conditions in healthy young adults, although caution is required when generalizing to other populations or clinical settings.

Abstract

This study is designed to explore the impact of dividend distribution policies and investment choices on company value, with capital structure serving as an intervening variable, specifically in coal subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2019–2024 period. A quantitative approach is employed, utilizing secondary data collected from the companies' annual financial reports. The sample comprises 23 companies selected through purposive sampling. Data analysis was conducted using EViews software version 13, encompassing descriptive statistics, classical assumption tests, panel data regression, model selection, hypothesis testing, Sobel tests, and path analysis. The findings reveal that dividend policy has no significant influence on company value, as measured by the Dividend Payout Ratio (DPR). Conversely, investment decisions exhibit a negative impact on company value, proxied by Total Asset Growth (TAG). Capital structure, represented by the Long-term Debt to Equity Ratio (LDER), contributes positively to company value. Furthermore, capital structure fails to mediate the relationship between dividend policy and company value but successfully mediates the influence of investment decisions on company value.

Abstract

Sleman Regency possesses significant potential for Salak Pondoh production, yet product diversification among MSMEs remains relatively low. This study aims to analyze the influence of Sarisa Merapi’s Business Model (X1) and Product Innovation (X2) on Product Diversification strategies (Y) within salak-based MSMEs in Sleman. The research employed a quantitative associative method with a sample of 30 MSME practitioners. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using multiple linear regression through SPSS software. The results indicate that, partially, Product Innovation has a positive and significant effect on Product Diversification. Conversely, Sarisa Merapi’s Business Model has a negative and non-significant influence on Product Diversification. This suggests that merely utilizing a successful entity as a role model without internal innovation capabilities is insufficient to drive effective product diversification. Simultaneously, both variables significantly influence diversification strategies, contributing 45.9% to the variance. This study recommends the importance of enhancing internal innovation capacity and adopting appropriate technology for MSMEs to increase the value-added of agribusiness products.

Abstract

Traumatic brain injury (TBI) is a major cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide, particularly among the productive-age population. TBI occurs as a result of external mechanical forces that lead to structural and functional disturbances of the brain. The impact of traumatic brain injury is not limited to the acute phase but may also result in long-term neurological impairment. This article aims to discuss traumatic brain injury based on journal reading of the literature used in the source paper, including its definition, mechanisms of injury, pathophysiology, and diagnostic approaches. The writing method employed is a literature-based journal reading. The results of the review indicate that primary and secondary injuries play an important role in determining clinical outcomes, and that neuroimaging examinations are essential in the diagnosis and evaluation of traumatic brain injury.

Abstract

Hyperkinetic Conduct Disorder (HCD) is a severe neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by the coexistence of pervasive inattention, marked hyperactivity–impulsivity, and persistent conduct disturbances. This disorder represents a more severe clinical spectrum of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder accompanied by conduct disorder and is associated with significant impairment in cognitive, social, and emotional functioning. Children with early-onset HCD are at high risk of academic failure, interpersonal conflict, and progression to more severe behavioral or personality disorders in adolescence and adulthood. This case report describes a 4-year-old girl presenting with chronic hyperactivity, impulsivity, emotional dysregulation, self-injurious behavior, and delayed speech development. Comprehensive psychiatric evaluation revealed severe hyperactivity, impaired social functioning, and maladaptive behavioral patterns consistent with Hyperkinetic Conduct Disorder (F90.1) according to the Indonesian Classification of Mental Disorders (PPDGJ-III). The patient was managed using a multimodal treatment approach combining pharmacological therapy and structured psychosocial interventions. Early identification and comprehensive management of Hyperkinetic Conduct Disorder are crucial to improving long-term outcomes, preventing progression to more severe psychopathology, and supporting optimal developmental trajectories in affected children.

Abstract

The implementation of digital technology-based population administration services is one of the government's efforts to improve the quality of public services, particularly through the implementation of Digital Population Identity (IKD). This study focuses on examining the quality of population administration services through the application of IKD in supporting e-KTP services at the Population and Civil Registration Office of Tangerang City. The method used is a literature review using a descriptive qualitative approach, sourced from regulations, formal government reports, and previous related research findings. The analysis is based on Wolfinbarger and Gilly's e-service quality benchmarks, namely ease of use, website/application design, reliability, system availability and responsiveness, privacy, and empathy. The research findings show that the implementation of IKD has generally made a positive contribution to the effectiveness and efficiency of e-KTP services, particularly in reducing queues and increasing the reach of digital services. However, there are still obstacles in the form of a lack of digital literacy among the public, technical system problems, and the suboptimal dissemination of information and assistance to users. Therefore, continuous efforts are needed to improve system quality, strengthen digital education, and maximize services so that the benefits of IKD can be felt equally by all community groups.

Abstract

Clinical pharmacy services in pharmacies play a very important role in ensuring the safe, rational, and effective use of medicines. The provisions regarding clinical pharmacy services are regulated in the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 73 of 2016 concerning Standards of Pharmacy Services in Pharmacies. This study aims to analyze the compliance of pharmacies in Jepara Regency with the implementation of clinical services based on the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 73 of 2016 and to assess the extent to which the seven aspects of clinical pharmacy services—prescription assessment and services, dispensing, drug information services, patient counseling, home pharmacy care, drug therapy monitoring, and adverse drug reaction monitoring—have been carried out according to the standard. The research method used was a descriptive and evaluative quantitative approach, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to the pharmacists in charge of the pharmacies. The analysis was conducted using descriptive statistics to determine the level of compliance with pharmacy service standards. Based on the results, most pharmacies in Jepara Regency have implemented the seven aspects of clinical pharmacy services in accordance with the standards, as indicated by the high percentage of compliance in prescription assessment, dispensing, drug information services, and counseling, with several indicators reaching 100%. Home pharmacy care has been implemented by 51 pharmacies with a high level of compliance, while drug therapy monitoring and adverse drug reaction monitoring still show several indicators that have not been fully carried out by all pharmacies. Overall, the level of compliance of clinical pharmacy services in Jepara Regency falls into the good category and demonstrates that most pharmacies have met the standards set by the Ministry of Health Regulation No. 73 of 2016.
