Abstract

In today's era, deviations have occurred in many people's lives. One of the deviations that are often encountered is the existence of moral degradation. To minimize the cases of moral degradation, it is necessary to make efforts to foster and develop morality. These efforts can be carried out with the role of religious leaders. Every religion needs a figure or figure who is able to be a guide for its people. Hinduism in particular has a figure who is expected to be a shade, a provider of education, and a motivator for the people. The figure is an extension worker whose presence is eagerly awaited by Hindus everywhere. The role of an extension worker is very strategic in fostering the people because the extension worker goes directly to the community. Given this strategic role, extension workers need to know and master the main tasks and functions of extension workers attached to their profession. In addition, in providing counseling, an instructor should pay attention to the competencies possessed so that the instructor has high competitiveness. As for the things that must be considered when conducting counseling, namely looking for the right moment in providing guidance, for example using the opportunity for PKK, Banjar, and Parum-parum meetings to introduce themselves as extension workers while carrying out their extension duties. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the presence of extension workers as providers of education and motivation for the people in realizing a santih and universe people. Given the importance of the role of the extension worker in the community, the extension worker should prepare himself, materially, and mentally as well as possible to help solve the problems of the people. Keywords: Hindu Religion Counselor, education, motivation

Abstract

This study examines the form, function and meaning of the Tawur Labuh Gentuh Ceremony in Taman Mayura, Mataram City. The reasons for choosing this location are as follows: 1) the Tawur Labuh Gentuh ceremony was held for the first time at Taman Mayura; 2) based on initial observations of Hindus in Mataram, not many people know about the implementation process and the meaning of the Tawur Labuh Genuh ceremony so that this ritual needs to be studied and socialized so that Hindus in Mataram City are more confident in carrying it out; 3) Rarely do counseling, dharma wacana or dharma tula to provide understanding to Hindus about the tawur labuh genuh ceremony. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative using communicative action theory, symbolic interactionism theory and communication semiotic theory. In general, this study aims to increase scientific insight about the tawur labuh gentuh ceremony carried out by Hindus in Mataram City. Thus, it can be disseminated to the public as well as to religious institutions in making a policy. Keywords: Tawur Labuh Gentuh Ceremony, Mayura Park, Mataram City

Abstract

Physical distancing is an effective strategy to keep people connected. The corona virus is known to spread mainly through respiratory droplets, especially when an infected person coughs or sneezes. Maintaining a safe physical distance is recommended to reduce transmission. WHO recommends keeping a distance of more than 1 meter from other people. Meanwhile, some health experts recommend keeping a distance of at least two meters from other people. A number of steps can be taken to increase the physical space between people, including staying at home more, working from home if possible, limiting guests at home, avoiding large gatherings and public transportation. The use of social media to support physical distancing can also be said to be efficient. The public can still interact with other people and get information related to corona quickly and easily. This can be seen from the actively asking social media about physical distancing or related to the corona virus in Indonesia in particular. Keywords: Mass Communication, Social Media, Physical Distancing

Abstract

The existence of different views or beliefs will be difficult to avoid friction or conflict. Conflict of belief is a dynamic that occurs in people's lives in Indonesia. Religious instructors are very risky and important jobs in improving the quality of religious life in accordance with their beliefs and beliefs as well as increasing religious harmony in their respective fostered areas so that no more problems arise due to differences in views based on religion. An instructor must have a good character like the character of the Panca Pandavas in the Mahabharata epic, this character can be guided by Hindu religious instructors in carrying out their duties and functions. The epic Mahabharata is one of the stories contained in Itihasa about the journey of the Kuru people with the core story being in the conflict between the Panca Pandavas and the Kauravas. The Panca Pandavas themselves are children born from the incarnation of the gods with almost perfect characteristics. It is this trait that must be imitated by Hindu religious educators in order to become instructors who have characters such as wise characters, firm in their views, honest, brave, loyal, gentle, polite, patient, confident, obedient, steadfast, smart and thorough.
