Abstract

The instrument is said to be valid if the instrument can measure what is to be measured. Type of construct validity using the method confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) with the help of software SPSS. The results of this study say that 15 instrument items consist of critical thinking, motivation, and learning achievement variables, after confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) it can be seen that the variables are grouped into 3 factors. Members of factor 1 are pb1, pb2, pb3, pb4, and pb5. Then those included in the dimension factor 2 are mt1, mt 2, mt ​​3, mt 4, and mt 5. Those included in factor 3 are bk1, bk2, bk3, bk4, and bk 5. So it can be concluded that all items are grouped and have a value loading factor > 0.5 thus all variables are declared valid.

Abstract

Reading and writing are basic skills that must be mastered by students because they are the main key to learning other more complex things at a higher level. In the process, of course, there are still various problems that can hinder the development of students' reading and writing skills in elementary school. Through this scientific article, the researcher wants to explore further about teachers' efforts in improving and stimulating the development of students' reading and writing skills. This research was carried out at SDN 018 Sungai Perak. This article is written and presented with a qualitative method. The subjects of the research are teachers of grades I and II, the data needed in the research are obtained through observation, interviews, and documentation which are then processed and analyzed with Miles and Hubberman analysis techniques, namely data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study showed that teachers' efforts in improving students' writing and reading skills were, improving children's motor skills through origami, using concrete examples, using spelling methods and game methods, and recognizing the level of ability of each student.

Abstract

Evaluation in learning aims to see the abilities and understanding of students in accordance with the objectives that have been set. Tests as a data collection tool must show the tendencies that exist in their preparation. This paper discusses the characteristics of a good test and the stages of preparing test instruments with a library research approach. The results of this paper state that the characteristics of a good test are tests that meet requirements such as validity, reliability, objectivity, practicality, and economy. And through the steps of its development, namely by determining objectives, developing instrument specifications, choosing the type of instrument, preparing the type of instrument, and testing the instrument. A good test will provide an overview of what needs to be improved regarding evaluation. And a good test can be a powerful tool to improve education.

Abstract

Rendahnya hasil belajar matematika siswa dapat disebabkan karena pemahaman konsep matematis siswa masih rendah dan abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh penerapan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) dengan pendekatan Teaching at Right Level (TaRL) berbantuan media Kahoot terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa kelas III di SD PL Servatius Gunuung Brintik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan merupakan kuantitatif dengan desain One-Group Pretest-Posttest Desain. Hasil dari penelitian ini menemukan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran PBL dengan pendekatan TaRL berbantuan media Kahoot berpengaruh terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa, dengan hasil uji hipotesis paired sample t-test <0,001 < 0,05 maka Ha diterima dan Ho ditolak. Sehingga terdapat pengaruh dari pendekatan yang dilakukan terhadap pemahaman konsep matematis siswa.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menerapkan metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw yang dibantu dengan media Lapbook dalam pembelajaran Ilmu Pengetahuan Alam (IPAS) mengenai keragaman agama di Indonesia pada siswa kelas 2 SD Muhammadiyah 2 Babat. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah pendekatan kualitatif dengan subjek penelitian sebanyak 16 siswa, terdiri dari 10 laki-laki dan 6 perempuan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode kooperatif yang didukung oleh media Lapbook dapat meningkatkan keaktifan siswa dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Metode ini berhasil meningkatkan semangat siswa, interaksi antar siswa, serta memudahkan pemahaman materi IPAS. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa metode pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Jigsaw yang dibantu media Lapbook merupakan alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa di sekolah dasar, khususnya dalam materi keragaman agama di Indonesia. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat menjadi acuan bagi peneliti selanjutnya untuk mengeksplorasi lebih dalam dampak penggunaan media Lapbook dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan siswa dan pemahaman konsep, serta mengidentifikasi tantangan yang mungkin dihadapi dalam penerapan metode kooperatif

Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan studi literatur sistematis (SLR) untuk mengkaji secara komprehensif tantangan-tantangan yang menghambat perkembangan kreativitas berpikir siswa sekolah dasar di era digital. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah pada peran penggunaan gadget dan faktor-faktor kontekstual lainnya yang mempengaruhi kemampuan berpikir kreatif anak. Analisis lima jurnal penelitian terbaru (2018-2023) yang relevan dengan tema kreativitas, teknologi, dan pendidikan anak usia dini, menunjukkan temuan yang konsisten: penggunaan gadget yang berlebihan secara signifikan berkorelasi negatif dengan kreativitas siswa. Siswa yang menghabiskan waktu berlebih di depan layar cenderung mengalami penurunan kemampuan imajinasi, pemecahan masalah, dan berpikir divergen. Selain itu, penelitian ini juga mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor pendukung seperti metode pembelajaran yang kurang inovatif dan interaktif, kurangnya stimulasi kreativitas dalam lingkungan belajar, serta kurangnya dukungan dan bimbingan dari guru dan orang tua dalam mengembangkan potensi kreatif anak. Temuan ini menyoroti perlunya strategi intervensi yang terintegrasi dan komprehensif untuk mengoptimalkan pemanfaatan teknologi digital, menciptakan lingkungan belajar yang kondusif bagi perkembangan kreativitas, serta meningkatkan kolaborasi antara guru, orang tua, dan siswa. Penelitian lebih lanjut disarankan untuk mengevaluasi efektivitas berbagai model intervensi yang diusulkan, serta untuk meneliti lebih lanjut dampak spesifik jenis-jenis konten digital dan durasi penggunaan gadget terhadap perkembangan kreativitas anak.

Abstract

Numeracy skills are an important component of mathematical literacy that need to be instilled from an early age so that students are able to face real-life problems logically and systematically. However, the reality on the ground shows that numeracy learning at the elementary school level still faces various obstacles, particularly in terms of learning approaches that do not fully encourage active involvement and in-depth student understanding. This study aims to describe the real conditions of numeracy learning implementation in fourth grade elementary schools based on observations and interviews, and explore the possibility of implementing a deep learning approach as an innovative strategy that is adaptive to the learning needs of 21st-century students. The study was conducted using a descriptive qualitative approach, through observations of numeracy learning and semi-structured interviews with class teachers. The results of the study indicate that conventional approaches are still dominant, with low student engagement and limited understanding of numeracy concepts, especially in fractions. Nevertheless, there are positive indications that the use of visual media and contextual activities can increase student enthusiasm and participation. These findings indicate that the deep learning approach has the potential to be integrated into numeracy learning, provided it is supported by increased teacher capacity and the provision of adequate digital learning infrastructure.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the forms of mathematics learning difficulties and the factors that influence them in sixth-grade students of SDN 40 Ampenan. The study used a descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of observations and questionnaires given to 16 students as respondents. The questionnaire instrument consisted of 20 statements used to identify indicators of mathematics learning difficulties. The results showed that there were two students who experienced significant difficulties in understanding numbers, estimating quantities, and solving story problems. Factors causing these learning difficulties included internal factors, such as low interest and weak problem-solving skills, as well as external factors such as lack of environmental support and family socio-economic conditions. Learning observations also showed the need for additional assistance for students who experienced difficulties. This study emphasized the importance of adaptive learning interventions and environmental support to help students overcome mathematics learning difficulties optimally.
