Abstract

Biology as a subject that explores living things and their environment will never be separated from any issues related to norms and ethics. In every development there will always be issues that can be related to ethical issues. Ethics is a boundary that causes a right/wrong assessment of every human behavior. Therefore, this article is written to examine ethics in biology learning to educate future responsible scientists. The method used in this research is descriptive with a library research approach. The data collection technique used is to search and collect reading sources from journals/articles that have been published before. The sources that have been collected are then analyzed to obtain the desired information. The results obtained are that in its implementation, biology education is not only required to provide learning related to theory but also related to biological ethics or also known as bioethics. The reason is, because biology is a branch of science that is directly related to living things and their environment, so it is necessary to have restrictions so that humans also still have a sense of responsibility.

Abstract

This research aims to develop learning media based on android applications, which can be used as a support for learning geometry material phase A Kurikulum Merdeka. The learning media created combines the concept of learning and practicing directly. Where through this media students can interact directly with the material. The achievements of this research: (1) Developing android-based learning media products that can be used as a means of supporting learning. (2) Knowing the process of developing android applications that are in accordance with the geometry material phase a independent curriculum. (3) Knowing the impact of the implementation of android-based geometry learning media on student learning outcomes. The test subjects in this study were second grade students of SD Negeri 2 Sokaraja. The model used in this research is the Plomp & Nieveen (2010) development model. The result of this research is an android-based learning media named as "shape safari". This media gets validation results from material experts with a percentage of 81%. Then get validation results from media experts of 73%. Then from the results of the trial on the research subjects, this media can improve the understanding of students as evidenced by the increase in the final results of students in the questionnaire. Where the use of this media is able to increase the value of the questionnaire from an average of 12 points to an average of 17 points.

Abstract

In Islamic religious education learning activities, the role of a PAI (Islamic Religious Education) teacher is very important in evaluation activities. Because in evaluation activities, an Islamic religious education teacher can find out whether his students have achieved what is expected or not. In addition to determining student graduation, evaluation activities are useful for evaluating learning methods or strategies. This article aims to determine the role of PAI teachers in evaluation activities and the obstacles faced by PAI teachers in evaluation activities. This research is based on field research. This article uses a phenomenological approach that raises a phenomenon in one of the vocational schools in Klaten. The results of this study show that the role of PAI teachers in evaluation activities is very important and crucial. This is because a teacher as an evaluation subject plays a role in the evaluation process, so that students can achieve learner’s goals. Keywords: Islamic Education Teacher, Evaluation, Learning.

Abstract

The urgency of character education has become a very popular issue in educational settings. The importance of character education is because character is a foundation that shapes the culture of social life and builds a civilization. Therefore, education as the main actor develops 3 (three) sub-systems which include: First, Administration. Second, teaching. Third, providing and developing student character. So, to realize the third sub-section regarding the provision and development of student character, the school created Islamic guidance and counseling management. However, in order to achieve perfect strengthening of student character, it must be accompanied by a good, systematic process. Starting from planning, the process of mobilizing human resources, monitoring, and assessing guidance and counseling activities. This research aims to find out how character is strengthened through Islamic counseling, and the role of counseling in character education. The results of this research show that the role of counseling in strengthening students' character is very influential. This is supported by the correct methods and approaches, so that the message or thing that is wanted to be built in character education can be conveyed effectively and efficiently

Abstract

Development of AIR-Based LKPD to Develop Students' Higher Level Thinking Skills. Teaching materials are an important component of learning activities. In fact, the existing teaching materials used by teachers still do not meet students' needs for higher level thinking. The aim of this research is to produce products and describe the effectiveness of Auditory Intellectually Repetition (AIR) based LKPD to improve high level thinking skills as teaching material for learning simple electrical circuits. This LKPD was developed in accordance with systematic and standard criteria for eligibility and testing the effectiveness of learning media. The research carried out is a type of development research using the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation development model. The process for producing LKPD begins with a validation stage by experts. AIR-based LKPD was also tested in schools to measure the response of class VI students. The results of the research show that the final validation results from media experts are 85% with very feasible criteria, the assessment results by material experts are 94% with very feasible criteria, the assessment results by language experts are 98% with very feasible criteria, the assessment results by the sixth grade teacher at Cimuncang Cilik State Elementary School with a percentage of 95% and the results of the effectiveness test of 15 students, pretest with a percentage of 13.3% and posttest with a percentage of 86%, as well as from the results of the N-Gain calculation, the percentage was 68% with the criteria being quite effective. The student response was 85.6% with very effective criteria, so the AIR-based LKPD was declared valid and practical for use as a reference in the learning process.

Abstract

The instrument is said to be valid if the instrument can measure what is to be measured. Type of construct validity using the method confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) with the help of software SPSS. The results of this study say that 15 instrument items consist of critical thinking, motivation, and learning achievement variables, after confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) it can be seen that the variables are grouped into 3 factors. Members of factor 1 are pb1, pb2, pb3, pb4, and pb5. Then those included in the dimension factor 2 are mt1, mt 2, mt ​​3, mt 4, and mt 5. Those included in factor 3 are bk1, bk2, bk3, bk4, and bk 5. So it can be concluded that all items are grouped and have a value loading factor > 0.5 thus all variables are declared valid.

Abstract

 School culture is a behavior and way of acting that is formed automatically. Students will imitate the things around them. Both positive and negative. This study aims to : (1) describe the form of bullying behavior that occurs at SD Muhammadiyah Pakel Program Plus, (2) Describe the bullying factor, (3) describe the impact of bullying, (4) application of 5S culture, (5) Handling bullying in SD Muhammadiyah Pakel Program Plus.      This research is a type of descriptive qualitative research, the subjects in this study is the principal, homeroom teacher, and students. The object of this research is the handling of bullying through the 5s program which is implemented at SD Muhammadiyah Pakel Program Plus. The data collection instruments used in this study included a grid of observation guidelines, interviews, and documentation.The results showed that the handling at SD Muhammadiyah Pakel Program Plus was that the teacher called the students involved in bullying cases, the teacher advised and approached the students, give a smile, spoke patiently, and gently, these problems must be resolved as quickly as possible, but if the problem is difficult handled, the teacher will call the parents involved in the bullying case. As for the scholls efforts to aplly sanctions to have an effect on students who violate the points of schools rules, the school also makes posters related to 5S culture to attract students to learn

Abstract

The aim of this research is to identify the relationship between interest in reading and the ability to understand discourse and writing skills in class III and IV students at SD Negeri 2 Karangbener, with a total of 24 students. The data analysis technique used is the correlation test. The research results show that there is a relationship between interest in reading and the ability to write narratives in students. This can be seen from the results of the bivariate test which was obtained with a calculated r value of 0.074 and a p-value of 0.05, so H0 can be accepted, showing that there is an influence between interest in reading and narrative writing skills.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of the model Inside Outside Circle on mathematics learning outcomes in class III of SD Swasta Pab 5 Klumpang. This research involved two class, namely the experimental class and the control class. The sample for this research was class III SD Swasta Pab 5 Klumpang. This research instrument is a multiple choice test with a total of 20 questions. Data analysis was taken from the pre test and post test, apart from that data analysis was carried out for normality tests, homogeneity tests, reliability tests, and undependent samples t tests. The results of the research show that: (1) The result of the reliability test of mathematics learning outcomes data using the model Inside Outside Circle received a sig value of 0,633>0,05, (4) The result of the t test (hypothesis test) using the model Inside Outside Circle the mathematics learning outcomes data received a sig value of 0,000<0,05. From this data it can be concluded that there is an influence of the model Inside Outside Circle on mathematics learning outcomes.

Abstract

Because of traditional and passive teaching methods in mathematics, most people view math as a strange and uninteresting subject. Discover Learning as a student-centered learning method is easily seen where the answers come from; it simply allows students to explore topics on their own. The higher their participation in teaching, the more it supports them in thinking critically. The research method is a qualitative literature review, based on various studies on the use of Discover Learning in mathematics teaching. Data analysis was conducted to assess this approach for learning interest and to test students' critical thinking skills. This research found that, in addition to deepening students' understanding of mathematical concepts, Discover Learning encourages them to be more active in their learning. Elementary school students may benefit from Discovery Learning as this approach also supports cognitive growth in line with their developmental stage. However, there are several obstacles to implementing this strategy, including a lack of resources, time, and differences in students' learning styles. However, as long as teachers make the necessary modifications, discovery learning may still be a useful strategy to enhance the quality of mathematics teaching.
