Abstract

This research aims to determine the supporting and inhibiting factors in developing the potential of gastronomy as a tourist attraction in the Sukorejo Tourism Village. The research method used is a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The research informants consisted of managers and culinary activists in the village. The research results show that the supporting factors in developing the potential of gastronomy as a tourist attraction are destination readiness, carrying capacity, cultural attractions, agro-tourism attractions, while low public awareness about the potential and benefits of tourism, skills in processing derivative products can hinder the development of gastronomic potential and tourist attractions in addition to There are also budget limitations which can hinder the realization of tourism projects, most recently the lack of communication and community involvement creates synchronization between destination development and support from the village government. This research concludes that an emphasis on natural, culinary, cultural, agrotourism and accommodation attractions, coupled with support and expectations from the community, is the key to realizing the development of this village's gastronomic potential as an attractive and sustainable tourist destination

Abstract

Every communication program has a strategy to ensure its success. As is the case with the Family Planning (Keluarga Berencana a.k.a KB) communication program initiated in the Haryono Suyono era. The program has become a spotlight in the world that Indonesia is able to control the birth rate. The purpose of this paper is to find out what the implementation of the Haryono era family planning communication program looks like, how it is evaluated, and if it is implemented in the current era, is it possible. The data collection method uses direct interview techniques. Thus, this paper uses a qualitative approach. It can be concluded that the implementation of the family planning program run by Haryono Suyono uses 3 (three) principles, namely (1) forming and maintaining a personal and humanist communication network, (2) setting and maintaining communication targets through simple messages, (3) the time dimension. Communicators need to maintain their reputation and have the authority and support to carry out family planning communication programs. Thus, the implementation of the program can be efficient and effective.

Abstract

The massive collection of non-timber forest products has led to around 80% of the land in Wan Abdul Rachman Forest Park (Tahura WAR) being controlled by the community. This has resulted in an increase in the rate of deforestation and damage to the forest canopy. Forest sustainability is one of the unresolved problems throughout Indonesia, the rate of forest destruction is higher than the preservation or planting of trees. Likewise in Lampung Province, the basic problem is the increasing population growth so that there are needs that must be met, while the availability of land does not increase. However, ecological impacts are not the only aspect of concern. Related to this, gender issues are also a serious concern in the context of agricultural and plantation expansion. Research has shown that there are significant gender differences in terms of dependence on forests for livelihoods and intended use of forest resources. Women in the KTH Tahura WAR have a role as those who do not directly benefit from the forest. Many women do not enter the forest and manage the land directly, but rather process a small portion of forest products into finished products with limited marketing. This research aims to analyse women's participatory communication in the preservation and management of sustainable forest resources in Tahura Wan Abdul Rachman, Lampung Province. The research method used in this study is qualitative ethnographic communication, which focuses more on social reality in the process of interaction between individuals in carrying out daily activities. The results showed the existence of participatory communication with four dimensions of participatory communication, namely heteroglasia, dialogue, polyponni, carnival. In the efforts to conserve and manage forest resources carried out by women around the forest, they have an important role as part of the non-timber forest product collection actors. Although women's participatory communication in the utilisation of forest resources is still minimal, researchers provide two important contexts to complement inclusive participatory communication, namely collaboration and cultural expression in forest resource manageme

Abstract

This research aims to explain the relationship between company’s financial performance and corporate social responsibility in the development of financial technology. The method in this research is using a qualitative approach with a literature review method where the data is obtained from relevant secondary data such as trusted journal articles. The results of this research illustrate that financial technology helps company to carry out their social responsibilities, especially in the current digital economic era. Social responsibility that runs well will also improve the performance of the company itself. Although this research is only limited to relevant journal articles, it does not rule out the possibility of collecting other data to support this research. To sum up, integrating corporate social responsibility and financial technology not only has a big impact on society but also improves company’s financial performance.

Abstract

Background: Cesarean section (CS) rates have been increasing in Indonesia, including in Papua, raising concerns about maternal and neonatal outcomes. Antenatal care (ANC) is a key intervention to monitor pregnancy and prevent complications. Objective: This study aimed to determine the association between maternal age, parity, and ANC Visits with cesarean section delivery at TK II Marthen Indey Hospital, Jayapura. Methods: An analytical observational study with a cross-sectional design was conducted in 2017. The study population consisted of all delivering mothers, with a sample of 149 respondents selected based on specific inclusion and exclusion criteria. Data were obtained from medical records, including variables on maternal age, parity, ANC visits, and medical history. Univariable, bivariate (Chi-square), and multivariable (logistic regression) analyses were performed to identify dominant factors associated with CS. Results: Of 149 respondents, 57.0% delivered by CS, exceeding the WHO recommended rate (5–15%). Multivariable analysis showed that maternal age <20 or >35 years (aOR=1.6; 95% CI: 1.02–2.85; p=0.042), primiparity (aOR=1.9; 95% CI: 1.08–3.60; p=0.038), and irregular ANC visits (aOR=3.8; 95% CI: 2.00–7.20; p=0.001) were significantly associated with CS. The model showed good fit (Hosmer–Lemeshow p=0.47, Nagelkerke R²=0.32) and discrimination ability (AUC=0.76). Conclusion: Maternal age, primiparity, and ANC Visits are significant predictors of cesarean section delivery, with irregular ANC being the dominant factor. Interventions promoting regular ANC visits, particularly for high-risk mothers, are recommended to reduce unnecessary CS.
