Abstract

This research aims to describe the phenomenon of the existence of female karaoke companions at the Bira beach nightlife venue, Bulukumba Regency. This research uses qualitative methods with descriptive research type. Data collection in this research was carried out using interview techniques and observation. The results of this research discuss the existence of female karaoke companions based on their social identity, social motives and social roles. Based on the results of this research, theoretically it is hoped that it can become a source of information in enriching scientific insight and as reference material for further research, as well as contributing ideas for the author in the process of applying the knowledge that has been obtained, especially regarding the lives of female karaoke companions who work in nightclubs.

Abstract

Mengakui otonomi desa adat di Bali tidaklah mudah. Mereka bangga membesarkan keluarga mereka secara tradisional. Pemerintah Provinsi Bali memberikan setiap desa adat Rp300.000.000 per tahun untuk dijalankan. Hal ini menggambarkan bahwa masyarakat adat di Bali tidak terpisah-pisah. Desa adat harus mencapai otonomi. Pemerintah desa adat harus mengidentifikasi sumber daya untuk menjadi mandiri. Pencatatan potensi desa adat yang berfokus pada ekonomi prajuru/pedruwen dikaji dalam penelitian ini. Sebuah studi deskriptif dengan menggunakan data primer dari hasil wawancara dengan seluruh Prajuru Desa Adat (Bendesa Adat, penyade, penyarikan, patengen). Klian Banjar, Sabha Desa, Kerta Desa, dan sumber-sumber lain yang dapat dipercaya. Data utama didukung oleh data sekunder. Data akan disimpan pada padruwen lokal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa rencana pengelolaan padruwen desa adat Marga 2021-2026 mempertahankan toko prajuru lama, tempat parkir, dan penguwot untuk krama desa. Program prajuru baru melayani krama/masyarakat dengan 1) merestorasi wantilan Sabuh Mas dengan keramik, nempel tiang wantilan dengan batu hitam, dan perbaikan lainnya agar lebih indah dan meningkatkan pendapatan. 2) Meminta izin kepada pemilik lahan untuk membangun jalan pengrarungan/pengyudan. 3) Menyederhanakan BUPDA sesuai dengan Peraturan Daerah No. 4 Tahun 2019 Bab I Pasal 1(35). Untuk meningkatkan kesejahteraan dan kemandirian Krama Desa Adat, BUPDA menjalankan usaha ekonomi riil, jasa, dan/atau pelayanan umum, kecuali usaha sektor keuangan, berdasarkan hukum adat dan tata kelola modern. Pembangunan akan dilanjutkan untuk pertokoan. 4) Pengaspalan jalan menanjak merupakan bagian dari renovasi setra dan area pembakaran mayat. Paruman Agung Desa Adat Marga meninjau semua program untuk mendapatkan izin.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini melakukan evaluasi mendalam mengenai implementasi konsep Smart City di Indonesia dengan fokus pada tantangan teknologi dan aspek keberlanjutan. Diawali dengan pengamatan umum terkait perkembangan Smart City global, penelitian ini kemudian mengidentifikasi dan menganalisa kesenjangan antara inisiatif Smart City dengan realitas sosio-ekonomi dan lingkungan lokal. Jenis penelitian ini adalah study pustaka dengan menggunakan data sekunder dan analisis data kota-kota utama di Indonesia untuk memetakan tantangan seperti infrastruktur teknologi yang belum memadai, hambatan integrasi sistem, dan kebutuhan untuk mempertahankan pertumbuhan ekonomi, kesejahteraan sosial, serta konservasi lingkungan. Penelitian ini juga menelusuri peran e-Government dalam membangun Society 5.0 dan dampak program Zero Waste City dalam mengejar Smart Environment. Temuan utama artikel ini mendemonstrasikan pentingnya kolaborasi antara pemerintah, industri, dan masyarakat serta integrasi keberlanjutan ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan dalam kebijakan dan program Smart City. Sebagai penutup, artikel ini menyampaikan rekomendasi strategis bagi pemangku kepentingan untuk mengatasi tantangan yang ada dan meningkatkan keberlanjutan prakarsa Smart City di Indonesia

Abstract

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a crucial role in the regional economy of Central Java, Indonesia. However, they face resource limitations that impact their performance, especially in foreign trade. To support MSMEs, the Central Java Provincial Government, through agencies like the Industry and Trade Office and the Koperasi and SMEs Office, promotes them via international exhibitions. Notable events from 2019 to 2023 include Festival Indonesia in Moscow, UKM Virtual Expo, a furniture exhibition in Antwerp, and Expo Indonesia en Mexico in Mexico City. The Covid-19 pandemic heightened the need for government intervention to expand MSMEs' markets abroad. This research analyzes these international activities as a form of paradiplomacy, where subnational actors like provincial governments engage in foreign relations. A qualitative research approach was used, involving literature reviews and interviews, with data triangulation to ensure validity and reliability. The findings indicate that the Central Java Provincial Government has successfully promoted MSMEs internationally through paradiplomacy, aligning with national diplomatic strategies and policies aimed at mitigating Covid-19's impact on MSMEs.

Abstract

Indonesia faces various forms of potential threats from outside and from within the country which also includes airspace. The Indonesian Air Force as a state instrument in the field of air defence has a duty, which one of it is to maintain sovereignty in the airspace of national jurisdiction using combat aircraft in carrying out air defence and taking action against airspace violations. However, in reality, the current condition of air missiles owned by the Air Force is still very limited in number to support operations and the trend of readiness has decreased, so that it is necessary to increase the strength of defense equipment through defence cooperation that needs to be carried out by Indonesia with Germany in the acquisition of IRIS-T missiles. This research uses a qualitative method. The required data were collected through interviews with a number of relevant informants, observation, literature study and documentation. The data obtained in the research were then analysed through three stages of analysis, namely data reduction, processing and analysis, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that defence cooperation between Indonesia and Germany in the acquisition of IRIS-T missiles is possible and feasible. If the Indonesian Air Force acquires IRIS-T missiles, there will be compatibility with air defence systems owned by fighter aircraft such as the F-16 AM/BM emlu, F-16 C/D and T-50i aircraft. There are four opportunities if the IRIS-T acquisition is carried out, namely increased missile capability, flexibility and interoperability, deterrence and trust and modernisation and technology.

Abstract

Children as the nation's next generation need to receive serious attention because the progress and decline of a country will greatly depend on the current and future generations. If children do not receive their rights and social protection as one of the pillars of the nation, they will tend to experience problems or become problems in the family and community. In reality, not all children are born with the physical conditions of children in general. There are those who have had disabilities since birth or have had disabilities during development. Children with disabilities in every interaction with others require special services that are different from children in general so that children with disabilities are identified with children with special needs. Several types of children with special needs, one of which is the mentally retarded. Mentally retarded children or often called people with intellectual disabilities, are conditions where children have below average intellectual abilities. Children with intellectual disabilities in achieving independence need to develop their potential through skills, mental and social guidance. One of the social development foundations that is directly involved in providing skills guidance for people with intellectual disabilities is the Medan Foundation for the Development of Disabled Children (YPAC) with skills guidance classes, namely: culinary skills, beauty skills, batik skills, computer skills and entrepreneurial skills. This research aims to determine the effectiveness of the skills guidance program for mentally retarded people at the Medan Foundation for the Development of Disabled Children (YPAC). The key informant in this research was the principal of the SLB C (Retardant) school at YPAC Medan, the main informants were class teachers/supporter and children with intellectual disability and additional informants were parents/guardians of children with intellectual disability. Data collection techniques were carried out using literature study, observation, interviews and documentation. The data obtained in the field was analyzed qualitatively to obtain the conclusion that the skills guidance program for people with intellectual disabilities at the Medan Foundation for the Development of Disabled Children (YPAC) was effective using four indicators of effectiveness, namely: accuracy of program targets, program socialization, program objectives and program monitoring.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of social media in the quality of e-KTP preparation services in the Population and Civil Registration Office of the Cidenreng Rappang District. The population of this study is 49, 22 office staff and 27 civilians who served in the Population and Civil Registration Office of Cedenring Rabang District in November 2023. This type of study describes metaphors. The data collection methods used in this study are observation, literature review and questionnaires. The data is used with the help of IBM SPSS Statistics 21.0 application. The results of this study from the results of the questionnaire found that the role of social media exchange was reiterated at 58% in the "negative" category. 58% of service quality falls into the "poor" category. Service level 53.9%, organizational level 22.5%, human resources and skills 15% and 16.4%. Therefore, the role of public media in the quality of KTP electronic services in Cidenreng Rappang Regency Civil Registry Service is still not considered good by the community.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of work discipline on the quality of services for issuing cover letters for making land deeds at the Mario Village Office, Kulo District, Sidenreng Rappang Regency. Work discipline is considered a key factor that influences the efficiency and effectiveness of public services. The research method used is a quantitative method with descriptive statistical analysis to describe work discipline conditions and service quality based on data obtained from observation, interviews, documentation and questionnaires. The research results showed that the level of compliance with working hours, superiors' instructions and office regulations reached 66%, 65% and 62% respectively. Service quality is measured through several indicators such as direct evidence (72%), reliability (72%), responsiveness (73%), assurance (68%), and empathy (72%). Factors that influence work discipline include goals and abilities (78%), leadership example (49%), employee salaries (74%), justice (62%), supervision (62%), legal sanctions (58%), firmness (65%), and human relations (47%). In conclusion, although several aspects of work discipline and service quality are considered quite good, there are still several areas that require further improvement, such as leadership and relations between employees and the community By understanding the relationship between work discipline and service quality, appropriate corrective steps can be taken to improve service quality, improve the image of local government, and better meet the expectations and needs of the community. Training, coaching, enforcing rules, and regular evaluation of employee performance are several steps that can be taken to achieve this goal.

Abstract

This research aims to: (1) Produce media using articulate storyline as a medium for learning geography on atmospheric material, (2) Find out the feasibility of media using articulate storyline on atmospheric material as learning media, (3) Find out students' responses to the development of articulate storyline media on material atmosphere. The research method used is the development research method and the development model is 4D (Define, Design, Development, Disseminate). The data used in this research are qualitative data and quantitative data. The data that has been previously obtained from the validator can then be used as a reference for revising the product, so as to produce a viable product. The subjects in this research were 36 students in class X Merdeka 2 SMA Negeri 1 Tanjung Morawa. Based on data analysis, the researcher stated that the learning media using Articulate Sotryline in the Atmosphere material developed by the researcher met the criteria for learning media, namely valid, practical and effective.

Abstract

Women often face discrimination or patriarchal barriers in their involvement in decision-making related to development. Despite efforts to improve gender equality for women and encourage women's inclusion in various fields, there are still negative perceptions and stereotypes that hinder their participation. This research uses qualitative methods by conducting interviews to collect the necessary data. The informants in this study were as many people as PKK mothers, women's farmer groups and Posyandu cadre mothers. The analysis used to process data is by using Nvivo 12 Plus Software and Nvivo 12 Plus.. The results of the research using the Gender Framework Analysis (GFA) analysis technique show that the role of gender in decision making at the development planning meeting in Maiwa District is still low, this causes the amount of women's participation to be minimal, for example, the presence of women in Maiwa District is still low from the total number of participants. Even though the number of women's attendance is low in the forum, these women are not only present but also active by providing a lot of input in the forum. The role of gender in decision-making at the development planning meeting in Maiwa Sub-district is still lacking, which causes the level of women's participation in musrenbangkec to still experience high obstacles, namely 38.89% and the indicator of stigma in participation, namely 36.36%. The lack of women's involvement in decision-making is also due to their own factors and the stigma that has been embedded in them.
