DE_JOURNAL (Dharmas Education Journal) merupakan jurnal ilmiah yang diterbitkan oleh Fakultas Keguruan dan Ilmu Pendidikan Universitas Dharmas Indonesia, dan sebagai sarana publikasi hasil penelitian serta berbagi perkembangan ilmu tentang pendidikan. Abstract

minimize these cases, it is necessary to replant the values ​​of character education from an early age. The values ​​of character education in the novel can be used as learning materials at schools. After the author read the novel Mengurai Rindu by Nang Syamsuddin, the author found many character education values. Type of research was a qualitative research using the content analysis method and the literary approach used in this study is the mimetic approach, and the data for this research were the speech, actions of the characters, and the narrator's exposure that contains the values ​​of character education in the novel Mengurai Rindu by Nang Syamsuddin. The data is then identified and classified based on the theory used and each data collected based on indications of character education values ​​is discussed one by one. The results of this study show that; (1) there are 34 data containing honest character education values, (2) there are 12 data containing intelligent character education values, (3) there are 47 data containing caring character education values, and (4) there are 12 data containing the values ​​of strong character education. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the values ​​of character education that are most often found in the novel Mengurai Rindu by Nang Syamsuddin are values ​​of caring character education, while the least found are values ​​of intelligent and tough character education.

Abstract

The problem of this study is to overcome the feeling of laziness and boredom felt by students in learning. And less interesting teaching materials that can be learned by students. This study aims at developing HOTS-based handout teaching materials for fourth grade elementary school students on the theme 9 Sub-theme 3 Conservation of Natural Resources Wealth in Indonesia. This study uses a R & D (Research and Development) through 4D model that consisted of the Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate stages adopted from Thiagarajan. Data collection methods used were interviews, validation questionnaires, student response questionnaires, and tests. Methods of data analysis using descriptive analysis. Product validation is based on content feasibility, language, handout display design, compatibility with HOTS, and compatibility with reading skills. Validators consist of academics, practitioners, and students. This development activity obtained the result of the mean final score of meeting 1 obtained 79.28 with criteria B (Good) and meeting 2 obtained better results, namely a mean of 86.42 with criterion A (very good). Thus, the product development of handout teaching materials based on HOTS theme 9 in grade 4 elementary school  is feasible.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) the application of the SAS method, (2) the students' interest in the application of the SAS method, (3) the improvement of pre-writing skills using the SAS method. This research includes Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the Synthetic Structural Analytical (SAS) method. This research was conducted at SD Negeri Ngadimerto Banyuurip with 7th grade students as research subjects. The instruments used were observation sheet guidelines, interview sheets, field notes, test question sheets, and data collection methods in the form of observation. From the research results, it is known that: (1) the application of the SAS method in this study was successfully carried out. This can be seen from the increasingly active students and the neat results of the students' writing; (2) the students' interest in learning Indonesian with the application of the SAS method has increased. In the pre-cycle stage, only two students are active in the class and the students' writing results cannot be said to be good. Cycle I, four students had started to show their confidence. The writing attitudes and results of the students' writing are also getting better. In cycle II, five students showed their self-confidence. Students are also used to writing carefully and with the right attitude; (3) the results of early writing skills using the SAS method are improved. In the pre-cycle stage, the average results of students reached 63.56. Two students have reached KKM 70. In the first cycle stage, three students have reached the KKM with an average result of 67.97. Cycle II, five students had reached the KKM with an average result of 73.38.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: typographical errors found in the theme book 5 Pahlawanku grade IV elementary school, (2) capital letter errors, (3) punctuation errors, and (4) less subject sentence errors. The method used in this research was descriptive qualitative. The object of this research is the Integrated Thematic Student Book 2013 Curriculum Class IV Theme 5 My Hero. The data collection used were interview techniques, field notes, literature studies, and reading notes. The research instruments used were interview grids, data filter grids, data recording cards, and overall data on linguistic errors. The data analysis method was carried out by the agih method. The data analysis technique used was the erase, replace, and insert technique. The data analysis presentation technique used is an informal technique. From the results of the study, it is known that there are 4 types of errors, namely (1) letter writing errors, there are nine capital letter errors, (2) capital letter errors, there are seven errors, (3) punctuation errors there are fourteen errors, and (4) sentence errors. less subject there are three errors. The most linguistic errors are writing punctuation, there are fourteen errors, and the smallest error is a sentence that lacks the subject, there are three errors

Abstract

This research is based on the low learning outcomes of class V SD Negeri 161 / VIII Sidorukun Kec. Rimbo Ulu Kab. Tebo, where many students have not reached KKM 75. The low student learning outcomes are because many students are still less active in the learning process. This study aims at improving student learning outcomes in the classroom using the Think Pair Share 3 (TPS) type of cooperative learning model. This type of research was classroom action research (PTK). The research subjects were grade V SD Negeri 161 / VIII Sidorukun Kec. Rimbo Ulu Kab. Tebo, with 18 students. The design of this research was the model of Kemmis and Taggart (planning, implementing, observing, reflecting). Qualitative data analysis techniques were in the form of observation sheets, while quantitative data are learning outcomes obtained from tests. This research has succeeded in improving student learning outcomes in simple aircraft material. In cycle I classical student learning completeness was 44.4% with an average value of 72.8, then an increase in cycle II was 94.4% with an average value of 83.4, an increase that occurred from cycle I to cycle II. is equal to 50. So it can be concluded that the Think Pair Share (TPS) type of cooperative learning model can improve the process and improve student science learning outcomes on simple aircraft material.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the use of three-dimensional visual media in improving learning outcomes in spatial form. This type of research applies the Classroom Action Research (CAR) method. This research was conducted in two meetings. The completeness of this researcher is in the form of a written test that is multiple choice. The subject of the study was the fifth grade teacher of SD Negeri 006 Rambah, which consisted of 14 students, 6 male students and 8 female students. The results of this study indicate that student learning outcomes in the material of spatial construction are increased through the use of three-dimensional visual media. The average value of student learning outcomes at the first meeting was 53%, while the second meeting was 81.14%. The percentage of the sum of the two meetings was 28.14%. This states that the use of three-dimensional visual media in spatial learning can improve student learning outcomes in class V SD Negeri 006 Rambah.

Abstract

Embedding character education should be started early, especially in childhood distinguishing things based on visualization and what is heard (early childhood). One of the ways to instill character is storytelling by prioritizing local culture such as the use of regional languages ​​such as Javanese. This study aims to describe the creativity of Ivet University students in making storytelling media in the Javanese AUD course during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method used is mixed methods between quantitative and qualitative. The target of this research is to focus on making Javanese storytelling media for early childhood (AUD) for PG-PAUD students of Ivet University in the odd semester of 2020/2021 which consists of 30 students. The results of the research on the creativity of storytelling media used by students in storytelling in the Javanese language include multimedia, dolls, pictures, books, and without using other supporting media. This shows as prospective teachers or storytellers, they must have the ability to package fairy tales and optimize their abilities in composing and selecting the right fairy tale media. Storytelling also has attention, affective, cognitive, and compensatory functions for children. Fairytale media that is appropriate and adapted to regional characteristics such as Java can help children enrich vocabulary and imagination so that children's development becomes more optimal.

Abstract

Assessment of process skills in online learning has not been optimally carried out because the instruments used are not suitable for online learning. The learning process becomes ineffective and students feel bored in following the learning. In MAN 7 Jombang it is known that the material for growth and development has never been assessed on process skills during online learning. Therefore, the material for growth and development is suitable for students to practice process skills. Educators at MAN 7 Jombang have never used an online-based process skills assessment instrument, so the authors developed an online-based process skills assessment instrument on growth and development materials. The development of this assessment instrument uses the 4D model, namely Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. However, the Disseminate stage was not implemented due to limited costs and time. The data collection instrument used a teacher needs analysis questionnaire, a student needs analysis questionnaire, an expert validation instrument assessment questionnaire, and a material expert validation questionnaire. The data analysis used the results of the validity questionnaire by the assessment instrument experts and the material was carried out descriptively. The results of the expert validation of the assessment instrument obtained an eligibility percentage of 75% with the proper criteria, and the results of the validation of the material experts obtained an eligibility percentage of 88.46% with very feasible criteria.

Abstract

This study meant to analyse excahnge the learning hardship of level VI students of SD Islam Terpadu Inayah Ujung Batu in answering geometry questions, the results of which are to determine will seen view of tthe difficulties and the aspect in causing the lurch of mathematic a geometry. This research design is medical study where the centered a focused on only one selected phenomenon and wants to be understood in depth by ignoring other phenomena. The approach used is a qualitative approach. Then the method used is an descriptive. The results of this study aim to determine where the difficulties of the students are. the results of research can be used as material for developing problems, especially in geometry material. The results showed that the learning difficulties of grade VI students in understanding geometry were: 1 The students were less able to understand geometry because part of the learning was done online. 2 difficulties in understanding the concept. 3  students have difficulty in using principles. Student Difficulties in solving verbal problems.

Abstract

Noun clauses are a component that needs to be learned in English. According to the 2004 curriculum or the Competency Based Curriculum (KBK) in English subjects, noun clauses are taught to University students in Semester IV, so this research was conducted to look at the difficulties of students in Semester IV using noun clause in reading and combining two sentences into one sentence. The form of this research is a study that describes a phenomenon that actually occurred in the field with a population of 60 students in Akademi Pariwisata Jakarta. So population taking, the authors use cluster random sampling to get valid and reliable tests, the authors carry out try out in classy classes. To try out the writer took data in Semester IV. The form of this research instrument is a written test. The test is in the form of multiple choice (multiple choice) consisting of 40 questions. These questions have been tested before, and then the questions were made into test questions for data collection after collecting data and deceiving data, the writer gets a percentage of students' ability scores in using Noun Clause 57.5% while students have difficulty using noun clause 42%, then students have difficulty using Noun Clause in learning English. Each category where the use of noun clauses. Which students get 41.48 who 42.14, whom 32.22, that 45.24, where 63.33 what 40.00 when 38.89 whose 41.67. Then the percentage of each category is generally greater than 40%, so the conclusion is that the Students of semester IV of Akademi Pariwisata Jakarta find the difficulty to use noun clauses caused by lack of facilities, vocabularies and motivation in studying English.
