The agrarian reform program in Indonesia aims to realize justice in the control, ownership, use, and utilization of land through land redistribution to marginalized communities. However, its implementation is still faced with various structural and cultural obstacles. This study aims to evaluate the implementation of land redistribution in the agrarian reform program from a legal and social perspective. The method used is descriptive qualitative approach with data collection through literature study, documentation, and policy analysis. The results showed that legally, this program experienced obstacles in the form of overlapping regulations, weak legal certainty, and low coordination between institutions. From the social side, challenges arise in the form of capital owner resistance, lack of community participation, and unpreparedness of local institutions in supporting program implementation. Therefore, the success of land redistribution requires regulatory harmonization, institutional strengthening, and inclusive participatory mechanisms. This evaluation provides important recommendations for policy makers so that agrarian reform does not only become a formality agenda, but is able to bring substantive agrarian justice.

Land redistribution is the main pillar of agrarian reform policy that aims to create justice in land tenure and utilization. However, its implementation in Indonesia is still faced with various interrelated multi-sectoral challenges, especially in legal, social, and administrative aspects. This study aims to critically analyze the complexity of land redistribution implementation from these three perspectives using a descriptive qualitative approach and literature study. The results show that overlapping regulations, weak legal certainty, and conflicts between regulations are the main obstacles from the legal side. Socially, low agrarian literacy, lack of public participation, and resistance from capital owner groups weaken the legitimacy of the program. On the administrative side, weaknesses in the data collection system, limited human resources, and poor coordination between institutions are significant implementation obstacles. This research emphasizes the need to reformulate the land redistribution policy with an intersectoral, participatory, and social justice-based approach. Recommendations are made to strengthen synergies between stakeholders, harmonize regulations, and increase institutional and community capacity in supporting inclusive and sustainable agrarian reform.

Agrarian justice in Indonesia does not only depend on the formal legal framework, but is also strongly influenced by the existence and recognition of the customary law system, especially in indigenous communities such as in Aceh. This research aims to examine agrarian justice in the perspective of Acehnese customary law through a case study of customary land in Aceh Besar District. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and field study methods as well as in-depth interviews, this research highlights the role of customary law in regulating ownership, distribution and resolution of agrarian conflicts. The findings show that indigenous communities in Aceh Besar have customary land management mechanisms based on the principles of deliberation, collective justice and spiritual values, but often face unclear legal status and lack of administrative recognition from the state. Agrarian conflicts often occur due to overlapping claims between indigenous peoples and formal control by outsiders. This research recommends strengthening the synergy between customary law and national law in the form of contextual agrarian policies, participatory legalization of customary land, and protection of collective rights of indigenous peoples as a step towards sustainable agrarian justice in Aceh.

The state, as a cultural product, plays a crucial role in translating Islamic political principles into social governance. Islam is not only a religion concerned with worship but also offers comprehensive guidance on human interactions and governance (muamalah). This duality makes the existence of the state and political power an essential aspect of Islamic teachings. Despite ongoing debates between scholars regarding the inseparability of Islam and politics, this study argues that the state, based on Islamic political principles, is indispensable for realizing justice, welfare, and equality in society. This research employs a qualitative literature review method, analyzing classical and contemporary Islamic political thought through philosophical, historical, and socio-political lenses. Key works from seminal thinkers such as Shaykh Hasan al-Banna, Sayyid Qutb, and Abul A'la al-Maududi are examined alongside modern interpretations. The findings indicate that the birth of the Islamic state represents a cultural revolution that integrates religious values with societal structures, as exemplified by the state of Medina. The study also highlights the state's function as the implementer of divine justice and social harmony. This research contributes to the discourse on the relationship between religion and state by emphasizing the necessity of an Islamic framework in political governance, while supporting the model of a moderate Islamic state compatible with pluralistic societies.

The digital era has significantly transformed various aspects of life, including Islamic education within the family. This study examines how Muslim families navigate the challenges and opportunities of raising children in the digital age. Using a qualitative approach and descriptive analysis of relevant literature, the findings reveal that digitalization facilitates access to Islamic learning resources, such as e-books, online lectures, and educational apps. However, challenges include exposure to un-Islamic digital content, gadget addiction, and reduced face-to-face family interaction. To address these issues, Muslim families can adopt strategies like monitoring technology use, leveraging positive digital media, and integrating Islamic values into parenting. The study highlights the crucial role of parents as facilitators in guiding children to use technology wisely and in line with Islamic principles. Additionally, Islamic educational institutions and policymakers should contribute by establishing regulations and educational programs that promote healthy technology use in family-based Islamic education. For future research, empirical studies using quantitative or in-depth qualitative methods are recommended to explore digital-based Islamic education across diverse cultural and social contexts. Further evaluation of technology-driven Islamic learning methods is also needed to provide more specific and actionable recommendations.

This study examines the impact of village fund allocations on economic growth and development in Indonesia within the decentralized development framework. Indonesia’s economic progress remains less inclusive, hindered by infrastructure disparities and centralized development legacies. To address regional inequalities, the government implemented village funds since 2015, aiming to spur rural development. Using a quantitative approach, this research applies the Difference-in-Difference (DID) method to analyze panel data from Indonesian districts and cities between 2011 and 2019. The study compares treatment areas receiving village funds to control areas without such funding, controlling for infrastructure, population, poverty, education, and other socioeconomic factors. Findings reveal that village fund allocations positively and significantly contribute to economic growth and development indicators, reflected in improved infrastructure and increased economic activities, such as the proliferation of Village-Owned Enterprises (BUMDes). Although the impact is statistically significant, it remains relatively modest, suggesting room for improved fund utilization and distribution mechanisms. The research highlights the need for continued provision of village funds alongside enhanced accountability to maximize developmental benefits. This study addresses a critical aspect of Indonesia’s inclusive growth agenda, demonstrating the role of decentralized funding in rural economic empowerment. The robust methodological approach and empirical evidence support policy recommendations for sustaining and optimizing village fund programs to foster balanced regional development nationwide.
