Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the capacity and competitiveness of the Pak Hamdani Kemplang Crackers MSME in Deli Serdang Regency through the application of digital entrepreneurship concepts. The main challenge faced by business owners is limited knowledge and skills in utilizing digital media for product marketing. The activity was implemented through a participatory approach, including training, mentoring, and hands-on practice. Over the two days of the activity, participants received training on creating digital business accounts, social media management, promotional content strategies, and simple product photography techniques. The results of the activity showed an 80% increase in participant understanding based on pre- and post-test results. Partners were also able to create digital business accounts and upload promotional content independently. This program is expected to increase sales and expand the market reach of local Palembang products, as well as serve as a model for digital-based empowerment for other MSMEs in the surrounding area.

Abstract

Kegel exercises are an effective non-pharmacological method of healing perineal wounds, helping to accelerate the healing of perineal wounds after childbirth caused by tears in the vagina and perineum. Slow healing of perineal wounds can lead to complications such as bleeding and even death in postpartum women. This community service activity aims to increase postpartum mothers' knowledge about Kegel exercises. The implementation method involves interactive counseling, direct demonstrations of how to perform Kegel exercises, and videos. The results of the activity showed an increase in knowledge, a change in attitude, and an improvement in the condition of the wounds of postpartum mothers after being given education on Kegel exercises. It is hoped that the community health center can continue to provide clear and regular information and education about the effects of Kegel exercises on the healing of perineal wounds for other postpartum mothers.

Abstract

Teaching Indonesian to Speakers of Other Languages (BIPA) requires continuous innovation to maintain motivation and increase the active participation of learners. This community service activity aims to introduce and implement the use of two interactive media, namely "Self-Introduction" and "Mysterious Envelope," to BIPA instructors. The implementation method consists of three stages, including (1) an explanation of interactive learning concepts, (2) a demonstration and simulation of the use of both media, and (3) a direct practice session by the participants of the technical guidance program. The results of the activity showed very high enthusiasm from the instructors. The "Self-Introduction" and "Mysterious Envelope" media were considered highly relevant, practical, easy to replicate, and capable of creating a dynamic and enjoyable learning atmosphere. The participants were able to practice using the media directly and provided positive feedback regarding the potential for its application. It is concluded that the development and dissemination of interactive media through partnerships with professional organizations such as APPBIPA is an effective strategy for enhancing the pedagogical competence of instructors and the quality of BIPA learning on a broader scale.

Abstract

The development of technology and information is progressing rapidly and driving transformation in the way people communicate. Humans are required to continuously adapt to technological advances, including in community service activities that carry the theme of digital media. This community service activity took the form of socialization and training in various fields of communication, particularly the application of new media. The target of this activity was Kiringan Village, Boyolali Regency, with a focus on the PKK group of women who are active in MSME activities. Social media has become part of people's daily routines, but its use to support the development of village MSMEs is still not optimal. This phenomenon is the background for the implementation of community service activities aimed at transferring knowledge and skills in the productive use of communication media. The community service uses an audience ethnography approach, considering the relatively traditional character of the Kiringan Village community. Through this socialization, the community is expected to be better prepared to face the positive and negative impacts of digital media in the development of village MSMEs.

Abstract

Halal certification is a mandatory legality for food and beverage entrepreneurs to guarantee the safety and halal integrity of a product for Muslim consumers. Without an official certificate issued by the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH), products risk losing consumer trust. However, the phenomenon in Sidosermo Village, Surabaya, shows that many MSMEs have not yet obtained official certification and are using unofficial halal logos. This condition required intervention through free halal assistance under the self-declare scheme. This community service activity was conducted in five stages: preparation, legality survey, socialization of SIHALAL regulations, registration assistance, and monitoring the application until the certificate was issued. The results of this activity showed that 19 assisted MSMEs successfully obtained official halal certificates. Consequently, this community service is able to improve legal compliance, enhance entrepreneurs' understanding regarding the differences in official halal logos, and support the acceleration of national halal certification.

Abstract

The development of financial technology has made investment activities, including trading, more accessible to the public. However, many university students are interested in engaging in trading without sufficient understanding of its fundamental principles and associated risks. To address this issue, a basic trading education program was implemented through socialization activities and demo account simulations, allowing participants to practice directly without financial risk. The materials provided covered an introduction to financial markets, trading platform mechanisms, and virtual transaction exercises. Evaluation results indicate an improvement in participants’ knowledge related to risk concepts, basic analysis, and market operations. This program is expected to enhance students’ financial literacy and encourage wiser decision-making in trading and other investment activities.
