Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the selling value and competitiveness of Rawa Lebak kemplang products through packaging innovation and digital marketing-based branding strengthening for MSME groups in the Rawa Lebak region of South Sumatra. The problems faced by partners are product packaging that is still simple, unattractive, and minimal use of digital platforms for marketing, resulting in limited market reach. The implementation method includes training in modern packaging design that is ergonomic and has local character, mentoring in creating a brand identity, and practical training in using social media and marketplaces for promotion and sales. The results of the activity showed that partners were able to produce new packaging that is more hygienic, informative, and has regional characteristics, and began actively marketing products through Instagram, TikTok, and Shopee. The impact is seen in increased knowledge of partners about branding and digital marketing, increased consumer trust, and increased sales turnover. This activity proves that packaging innovation combined with digital marketing strategies is effective in encouraging the independence and sustainability of local food MSMEs.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve access to commodity price information for farmers and MSMEs in Polewali Mandar through the implementation of the Commodity Price Information System (SiCermat). The main problem addressed is limited access to price information, which weakens farmers’ bargaining position. The methods include socialization, training, technology implementation, mentoring, and participatory evaluation. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ ability to access price information, increased transparency in pricing, and greater confidence in marketing strategies. The program also contributes to distribution efficiency and potential income growth. Despite challenges such as limited internet access and varying levels of digital literacy, this program has strong potential to be developed as a digital-based farmer empowerment model.

Abstract

This activity strengthens pipiti handicrafts' identity as a signature souvenir of Kawungluwuk Tourism Village through branding development, including a brand name, logo, and philosophy based on local wisdom. The partners' challenge is that pipiti products lack a clear brand identity, resulting in limited appeal and competitiveness. The activity used Participatory Action Research (PAR), emphasizing active partner participation from problem identification to implementation. The stages included designing the brand name, logo, and philosophy; branding education; and handover of design results. The branding produced the name "PipitUng," a bamboo-based logo, and the philosophy "grown from nature, living within culture," reflecting local wisdom. Implementation included a logo application simulation on products and delivery of the logo in digital and printed formats. This activity contributes to strengthening pipiti's identity, enhancing its appeal as a souvenir, and opening opportunities for increased economic value and sustainable artisan businesses rooted in local wisdom.

Abstract

Equitable regional development remains a major challenge in Indonesia, partly due to weak administration in inter-regional cooperation. This community service activity aims to optimize inter-regional cooperation agreement administration to support the trade mission between Central Kalimantan and East Java Provinces through the MBKM independent internship program. A participatory approach was employed, involving document management, correspondence filing, presentation preparation, and SME accompaniment. Results indicate that orderly and structured administration improved inter-agency coordination efficiency and supported the trade mission's success, which recorded transactions exceeding IDR 2.08 trillion. This program proved mutually beneficial for students and government agencies in supporting effective and accountable inter-regional cooperation.
