Abstract

This community service activity aims to increase the selling value and competitiveness of Rawa Lebak kemplang products through packaging innovation and digital marketing-based branding strengthening for MSME groups in the Rawa Lebak region of South Sumatra. The problems faced by partners are product packaging that is still simple, unattractive, and minimal use of digital platforms for marketing, resulting in limited market reach. The implementation method includes training in modern packaging design that is ergonomic and has local character, mentoring in creating a brand identity, and practical training in using social media and marketplaces for promotion and sales. The results of the activity showed that partners were able to produce new packaging that is more hygienic, informative, and has regional characteristics, and began actively marketing products through Instagram, TikTok, and Shopee. The impact is seen in increased knowledge of partners about branding and digital marketing, increased consumer trust, and increased sales turnover. This activity proves that packaging innovation combined with digital marketing strategies is effective in encouraging the independence and sustainability of local food MSMEs.

Abstract

This community service program aims to improve access to commodity price information for farmers and MSMEs in Polewali Mandar through the implementation of the Commodity Price Information System (SiCermat). The main problem addressed is limited access to price information, which weakens farmers’ bargaining position. The results indicate an improvement in participants’ ability to access price information, increased transparency in pricing, and greater confidence in marketing strategies. The program also contributes to distribution efficiency and potential income growth. Despite challenges such as limited internet access and varying levels of digital literacy, this program has strong potential to be developed as a digital-based farmer empowerment model.

Abstract

This activity strengthens pipiti handicrafts' identity as a signature souvenir of Kawungluwuk Tourism Village through branding development, including a brand name, logo, and philosophy based on local wisdom. The partners' challenge is that pipiti products lack a clear brand identity, resulting in limited appeal and competitiveness. The activity used Participatory Action Research (PAR), emphasizing active partner participation from problem identification to implementation. The stages included designing the brand name, logo, and philosophy; branding education; and handover of design results. The branding produced the name "PipitUng," a bamboo-based logo, and the philosophy "grown from nature, living within culture," reflecting local wisdom. Implementation included a logo application simulation on products and delivery of the logo in digital and printed formats. This activity contributes to strengthening pipiti's identity, enhancing its appeal as a souvenir, and opening opportunities for increased economic value and sustainable artisan businesses rooted in local wisdom.

Abstract

Stunting is a major nutritional problem among toddlers in Indonesia that remains unresolved. According to the 2024 Indonesian Nutritional Status Survey, 16.8% of toddlers are underweight, 19.8% are stunted, and 6.2% are malnourished. According to the WHO, the interaction of various factors causing stunting consists of four factors: family and household factors, breastfeeding, complementary feeding, and infection. One family and household factor can be caused by teenage pregnancy or unwanted pregnancies. These problems begin with premarital sexual behavior, which leads to pregnancy and abortion. One effort to address adolescent reproductive health issues is through the provision of adolescent reproductive health services. Adolescent reproductive health services aim to prevent and protect adolescents from risky sexual behavior that can impact reproductive health. The methods used include education, discussion, and counseling related to adolescent reproductive health and stunting prevention. The results of reproductive health education resulted in a 29-point increase in scores.

Abstract

Strengthening human resource (HR) capacity in digital marketing is essential for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in responding to digital transformation. Maka Coffee faces challenges in managing social media, including inconsistent content creation, limited use of analytics, and suboptimal digital branding. This community service program aims to enhance HR competencies through training, mentoring, and simulation. The program was implemented in four stages: preparation (observation and analysis), practice-based training, mentoring, and social media simulation. Evaluation used pre-test and post-test methods across five indicators: digital branding, social media management, content creation, use of digital tools (Canva), and engagement and analytics. The results show a significant improvement in participants’ competencies, with an average increase of more than 40%. The highest improvement occurred in content creation (45.16%). These findings indicate that practice-based training and mentoring effectively improve MSMEs’ digital marketing skills in a structured and practical manner.
