Abstract

Financial literacy has become a hotly discussed issue in recent years in Indonesia. The issues that arise cannot be separated from various polemics that have occurred, ranging from the Asean Economic Community (MEA) to the economic crisis that hit Indonesia in 1998. At this time financial literacy is an important thing and a necessity for the wider community, the public is required to know and understand financial literacy. The low level of public knowledge about the financial industry and its products causes people to be easily trapped in making investments that offer lucrative returns in the short term without considering the risks. This causes harm to the community itself. The government and financial institutions need to seek an understanding of financial literacy for the Indonesian people. One of the efforts to increase financial literacy is education related to legal investment through Community Service conducted by the Faculty of Economics and Business, Ngurah Rai University together with the Regional VIII Bali and Nusa Tenggara Financial Services Authority and the Bali Regional Development Bank for the community of Sanur Kauh Village.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the exchange of virtual cryptocurrency money with real rupiah money from the perspective of sharia economic law. Currently there is a lot of money in virtual form, one of which is bitcoin. The emergence of this type of virtual money is proof of one of the latest technological advances. Bitcoin has been widely used by several countries and even makes it a transaction tool. Cryptocurrency is becoming a booming trend as a new investment opportunity. Not even a few believe that crypto becomes an attraction because it is considered to have different characteristics in solving expenses without using a third party. Some of the provisions in the exchange contract between the same and different currencies, namely exchanging money with similar types such as rupiah with Rupiah and must be done in cash, if different currencies such as Rupiah and Dollar must also be in cash, if the exchange occurs between money and commodities, the most important thing is agreement between the seller and the buyer. Cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) is legal to use for people who accept and acknowledge it, but MUI and OJK do not allow it as a commodity and similarly BI does not allow it as a legal transaction tool to be used in Indonesia because it is considered not to meet the requirements as a currency like Rupiah. and in the perspective of sharia economic law that cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) is an object or object that is not allowed (haram).

Abstract

Currently, hospitals must contend with global competition in various health sectors. The public's demand for health services increases annually. The community requires prompt, accurate, and high-quality services. With the increasing number of patients and the limitations of government hospitals, there are frequently public complaints about hospital services. In addition, a patient's interest in receiving services at a hospital is influenced by his or her satisfaction with those services, so if hospital services are subpar, this will have an effect on the number of hospital visits in the era of the COVID-19 pandemic. The purpose of this study is to provide an overview of efforts to increase inpatient visits at Gambiran Hospital. The method employed is qualitative surveying. The results of the study indicate that several appropriate strategies are required to address the various problems that have been identified, particularly during the current pandemic, including the need to increase the capacity of officers to be able to provide education to patients, along with superior human resources to market through media, which is required by society today in order to instill community confidence in the safety of care at the Gambiran Hospital.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to evaluate the processing units at Nipa-Nipa Sludge Management Installation (IPLT) on technical aspect to find out which units need improvement, economic feasibility of the current IPLT and the economic feasibility if improvements are made, and evaluate the institution that manages IPLT so that it can maximize IPLT operation and maintenance. The method used to evaluate the technical aspects is a comparison between the design criteria of planning and the design of existing criteria. The results of the evaluation of the technical aspects indicate the existing IPLT processing unit can still be operated and able to reduce contaminant levels to below the quality standard with improvements to several processing units without additional units. Furthermore, for the economic aspect, it shows the economic feasibility of this IPLT will recover with the addition of the number of customers by 17% of the number of existing customers each year. Meanwhile, for the institutional aspect, there are opportunities for institutional development from the Service Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) institutional form to an institutional form with the Financial Management Pattern of the Regional Public Service Agency (PPK-BLUD). As for the results of this research, it can be implemented as a consideration for the Makassar City Government in making decisions to carry out IPLT rehabilitation and planning. Besides that, it also provides strategic recommendations and solutions to existing financial problems to the Makassar City UPTD PAL in institutional management, especially in the development of the UPTD PAL itself.

Abstract

In a public organization that is difficult to change, it turns out that the Bojonegoro district government can make various breakthroughs. This study aims to find out how they make changes. Using a case study approach, ten ways to make changes were found, namely communication, community empowerment, professionalism, building trust, financial management, being a mediator, understanding community culture/social/customs, synergizing, clear regulation, and walk-the-talk. These methods are not implemented separately but are interrelated to provide maximum impact for people who have a long history of endemic poverty. Some of the methods are related to the concepts of new public management and reinventing government, although the local government of Bojonegoro itself is not familiar with these concepts. By making the organization a learning organization, local governments that tend to be static will become more agile in carrying out their duties.
