Abstract

Background: Interfaith education figures inevitably have significant role in managing religious tolerance because education is carried out both in and outside schools. Interfaith figures in society not only actualize and internalize religious values but also implement strategies for balancing the potential of nature so that the humanity of religious communities is maintained. Aim: This paper is the result of research examining interfaith education figures’ strategies in managing tolerance in Banuroja Village, Randangan District, Pohuwato Regency. Method: The researchers applied qualitative approach with phenomenological design. The data collection techniques of this research were observation, interview, documentation, and Focus Group Discussion. Research data was tested by thorough observation and triangulation, both source and method triangulation. Findings: The results of this research indicate three strategies of interfaith education figures in managing tolerance in Banuroja Village, Pohuwato Regency, they are: first, the assimilation strategy, carrying out a blend of cultures or assimilation of life, for example when maintaining security at the neighborhood-watch post (poskamling) by wearing traditional uniforms. Second, the mutual need strategy is embedding a culture of interethnic and religious mutual cooperation as the basic foundation for cultural resilience and the creation of distributive justice. Third, the educative communication strategy is the involvement of educators regardless of their religion in various activities and educative communication. In a pluralist and heterogeneous society like Banuroja, interfaith education figures who are full of knowledge and educational methods have a very strategic, urgent, and beneficial position for the community at large.

Abstract

Background: National development aims to build independence including development, including the neighborhood. One of the government's current missions is to build the area to the bottom level, namely neighborhood, achieved through community empowerment to create a more productive society with business diversity, availability of facilities to support the economy, and optimize the potential that exists for economic growth. Aim: This study aims to determine the Implementation of the Village-Based Neighborhood-Owned Enterprise (BUMRT) Policy in Sidomulyo Village, Samarinda Ilir District, Samarinda City, along with its supporting and inhibiting factors. Method: It is a qualitative research. Purposive and accidental samplings were used. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, role-playing observations, and documentation. For the analysis, it used Miles and Huberman's interactive model data analysis technique. Findings: The human resources available at BUMRT only consist of 6 members. At the planning stage, the village government prepares the budget needs of BUMRT based on the budget proposal submitted by BUMRT. At the budgeting stage, the village government budgets need to be distributed to Community Groups (Pokmas), and then Pokmas distribute budgets related to BUMRT needs. At the evaluation stage, reporting and accountability of the use of funds by BUMRT are carried out. There are activities such as socialization to the community, formation of preparatory teams, proposed draft BUMRT regulations, business license making, employee training, and capital facilitation and assistance, as well as the existence of BUMRT. They are expected to improve the welfare of the community, especially economically, as well as reducing unemployment.

Abstract

Based on data from the 2020 Global Cancer Statistics, lung cancer is the deadliest malignancy in the world with the most incidents occurring in Southeast Asia. Deaths caused by lung disease are still very high, so it is necessary to increase prevention efforts, for example by increasing the results of the prediction model. The application of machine learning methods to lung cancer survey datasets that are generally used by researchers for lung disease prediction, including the development of assistive devices, still does not handle missing values, noisy data, unbalanced classes, and even data validation efficiently. Therefore, a mean/mode imputation approach is proposed to handle missing value replacement, Min-Max Normalization to handle smoothing noisy data, K-Fold Cross Validation to handle data validation, and a hyperparameter tuning approach that can unify the performance of each machine learning method. to make classification decisions as well as to reduce unbalanced classes. The results of this study indicate that the proposed method provides an accuracy of 0.9%, so as to improve the accuracy performance of machine learning methods, the difference is 0.95% with Logistic Regression, 0.9% with KNeighborsClassifier, 0.34% with Gaussian NB.

There were 15 schools (48.39%) which were still below the average score and 16 schools (51.61%) were above the average score. The highest achievement level is the Learning Process Implementation Component (93.3%) and the lowest achievement is the Child Participation Component (56.68%). Schools have not been able to optimize the role of key targets to increase children's participation in planning, policy, learning, supervision and complaints mechanisms related to the fulfillment of children's rights and protection in education.

Abstract

Background: The field of education is one of the industries most affected by the COVID-19 Pandemic, namely the move from face-to-face learning to online learning. At the same time, the Indonesian Minister of Education encouraged the Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka program where one of its programs is the Teaching Campus. The involvement of students of the Faculty of Information Technology in online teaching digital marketing at high schools in Bandung is a form of implementation of the teaching campus program. There is a problem because students do not have experience, so it is questionable whether online teaching that limits the teacher's interaction with students can have a positive impact. Aim: The study was conducted with the aim of seeing how much impact student online teaching has on students. Method: The research was conducted through a survey, using AMOS 28 for quantitative analysis. The questionnaire tool is submitted through a Google Form and distributed electronically via Whatsapp and Google Classroom. Findings: Significant results were obtained on the relationship of teaching variables and Student variables. with a total influence of .194. It is proven that a positive impact is obtained.

Abstract

Background: The agriculture industry in Indonesia produces a wide range of goods. Coffee is one of them. One of Indonesia's biggest exports to the rest of the world is coffee. Indonesia, the third-largest producer of coffee worldwide, has acknowledged coffee as a staple good. According to Pertanian.go.id, there are 1.2 million hectares of coffee plantations in Indonesia. Community coffee plantation land makes up 96% of the plantation area, while private firms own the remaining 4%. This demonstrates the importance of smallholder plantings to Indonesia's coffee industry. Aim: This study aims to assess the extent of the implementation of entrepreneurial orientation in plantations and post-harvest processing of coffee commodities through the mediating role of competitive advantage and innovation strategies to improve the performance of MSMEs in the plantation agro-industry and post-harvest coffee in Malang Raya. research methods used survey methods. Method: The data were obtained from questionnaires and necessary documents. Testing using partial Least square (PLS-SEM) and bootstrap. Findings: The findings of this study reveal that entrepreneurial orientation has a positive and significant direct effect on the performance of MSMEs while the role of competitive advantage and innovation strategy as a mediation of entrepreneurial orientation is not able to have a positive and significant influence on the performance of MSMEs in the plantation agro-industry and post-harvest coffee in Malang Raya.
