Abstract

The rapid growth of social media, particularly TikTok, has transformed digital marketing strategies across industries, including healthcare. Telemedicine X in Indonesia seeks to harness TikTok’s influence to expand outreach and enhance engagement, especially among younger demographics. However, the platform’s marketing effectiveness in this context has yet to be thoroughly evaluated. This research aims to assess the performance of Telemedicine X’s TikTok content throughout 2024 by analysing user engagement (likes and comments), content types, posting frequency, audience preferences, and consumer complaints. A descriptive-quantitative method was employed, using content analysis of all TikTok posts during the study year. Data were collected manually and processed using Microsoft Excel to quantify interactions and classify comment sentiment. The results revealed high engagement levels, with over 9 million likes and 84,000 comments, indicating significant public interest. Educational content dominated the account’s output (207 out of 228 posts), aligning with public health goals and algorithmic preferences. Promotional and drug-related content were minimal due to regulatory constraints. Complaint peaks in March and June highlighted service-related dissatisfaction, while lower volumes in other months reflected either improved service or reduced outreach. The study concludes that TikTok is a promising platform for telemedicine marketing in Indonesia, capable of driving awareness and engagement. However, it recommends more interactive content, timely customer support, and data-driven campaign optimization to strengthen brand trust and effectiveness. These findings can inform broader strategies for digital health communication in emerging markets.

Abstract

The construction industry is inherently high-risk, making Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) a critical priority. This study evaluates the implementation of the Occupational Health and Safety Management System (OHSMS) in the renovation project of Grand Inna Malioboro Hotel, located in a densely populated tourism area of Yogyakarta City. The project’s urban setting introduces additional challenges in ensuring safety for both workers and the surrounding public. A qualitative descriptive approach with a case study method was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with project stakeholders, direct field observations, and a review of project documents including the Safety Plan (RK3K), incident reports, and training attendance records. The collected data were analyzed using the SWOT framework (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats). Findings indicate that while OHSMS documentation and personnel are in place, the on-site implementation is inconsistent. Strengths include management support, the presence of a safety officer, and regular briefings. However, weaknesses persist, such as incomplete safety training, weak subcontractor oversight, and inadequate incident reporting. The project has opportunities for improvement through regulatory support and public visibility, but also faces threats due to its location in a high-traffic urban area. This study concludes that while the OHSMS has been formally adopted, its practical implementation needs enhancement through better training, consistent supervision, and broader stakeholder involvement. Regular evaluation and integrated safety strategies are essential to strengthening safety culture in similar renovation projects, particularly those in complex urban environments.

Abstract

Background: Burns are serious tissue injuries that require rapid treatment to prevent infection, accelerate healing, and reduce the risk of scarring. One therapeutic innovation is Autologous Skin Cell Suspension (ASCS) using the ReCell device. Based on a real-world registry data study from the United States (Burn Care Quality), ReCell uses a small sample of patient skin processed into a cell suspension and sprayed onto the wound to stimulate skin regeneration and improve healing outcomes. Objective: This literature review aims to analyze the effectiveness of ReCell in healing burns based on ten articles published in the period 2018–2025. Methods: The literature review was obtained from PubMed, ScienceDirect, and Google Scholar, then analyzed narratively. Results: The study results showed that ReCell accelerates re-epithelialization with a shorter healing time compared to conventional skin grafts, and reduces the need for a skin donor area by more than 30%. In addition, ReCell provides better aesthetic results, although its effectiveness in reducing pain, infection, and repigmentation has not been consistent. Several pediatric studies also reported the success of ReCell as a monotherapy. Conclusion: ReCell is a promising method to help heal second-degree (deep partial thickness) to third-degree (full thickness) burns.

Abstract

Electronic prescribing, or e-prescribing, is a digital system that allows doctors to create prescriptions and send them to specific pharmacy computers connected to an electronic prescription network, facilitating direct communication between physicians and their practices. Rapid technological advances in healthcare have made it easier for doctors to prescribe medications electronically, eliminating the need for handwritten prescriptions. In e-prescribing, prescriptions are sent over a secure internet network, requiring user authentication through a username and password. Benefits of implementing electronic prescribing include reducing medication errors in prescription interpretation, increasing prescription processing efficiency, and improving the quality of healthcare services. Implementing electronic prescribing often faces challenges, such as inadequate funding, negative perceptions of the technology, lack of computer skills, and complexity in data entry. This article aims to identify factors influencing the successful implementation of electronic prescribing in Indonesia. A literature review using scientific databases including Google Scholar, PubMed, and NCBI has been conducted. Various factors have been identified that can influence the effectiveness of electronic prescribing, including organizational elements, technological aspects, and human resources. Understanding these factors can guide policy development and the assessment of healthcare workers in implementing electronic prescribing, resulting in effective electronic prescribing.

Abstract

Children are the nations future generation. Proper parenting can help children achieve optimal growth and development. Child development is a crucial aspect that requires attention at every stage of their development, including fine motor skills. Parenting patterns are one of the factors that contribute to fine motor development in children. The purpose of this research was to determine the relationship between parenting patterns with fine motor development in children aged 3-5 years. The research design used was a correlational study with a cross-sectional approach. The population in this study was all parents with children aged 3-5 years at the Early Childhood Education Center An Nishak in Kediri City, with a total of 24 respondents. In this research, the technique chosen was total sampling. The independent variable in this study was parenting patterns and the dependent variable was the fine motor development of children aged 3-5 years. Data were collected using questionnaires and DDST sheets. The data analysis technique used was Chi-Square. The results of the study showed that the majority of parents who applied a democratic parenting style had children with normal fine motor development results, as many as 16 respondents (76.1%). Based on the results of Chi-Square analysis test with a significance level (α) = 0.05, the Asimp.sig value was 0.04, so it can be concluded that the Asymp.sig value <0.05 so that H1 is accepted, meaning there is a relationship between parenting patterns and fine motor development in children aged 3-5 years. Based on the research results above, it can be concluded that parenting styles significantly influence a child's fine motor development. Therefore, children must be educated with appropriate parenting styles. It is hoped that health workers, especially midwives, will also play a vital role in monitoring children's fine motor development by providing information about age-appropriate fine motor development and appropriate parenting styles to parents.

Abstract

Rheumatoid arthritis is a chronic autoimmune disease that is progressive in nature and requires long-term therapy involving a combination of multiple drugs. The complexity of treatment increases the risk of polypharmacy, which in turn can trigger drug interactions and reduce the safety and effectiveness of therapy. This literature review aims to describe the relationship between polypharmacy and the potential for drug interactions in patients with rheumatoid arthritis, while considering the importance of monitoring drug use in clinical practice. The writing method was carried out by reviewing various national and international studies related to polypharmacy and drug interactions in rheumatoid arthritis patients. The findings indicate that the concurrent use of several medications, particularly combinations of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), corticosteroids, and disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs), can lead to moderate to severe interactions that may cause serious adverse effects such as hepatotoxicity, renal impairment, and bleeding. Furthermore, the greater the number of drugs used, the higher the likelihood of harmful effects, both due to pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic interactions. This condition highlights the need for healthcare professionals to regularly evaluate prescribed medications, adjust dosages, and educate patients about the safe and rational use of drugs. These efforts are essential to minimize adverse effects, improve treatment adherence, and achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes in patients with rheumatoid arthritis.

Abstract

The implementation of health protocols is a crucial strategy in controlling the spread of COVID-19. This study aims to describe the compliance level of mask-wearing and physical distancing in Indonesia and its relation to the number of COVID-19 cases during the pandemic. The study used a descriptive research design based on secondary data obtained from the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Indonesia and the National COVID-19 Task Force. The dataset covered all 34 provinces from January to August 2021 and included monthly and cumulative COVID-19 cases, as well as the percentage of compliance with mask-wearing and physical distancing. Data were analyzed descriptively and presented in figures to illustrate provincial differences and national trends. The findings show that as of August 2021, Indonesia recorded 4,089,801 confirmed cases, with the highest numbers in DKI Jakarta, West Java, and Central Java. Provinces with high mask-wearing compliance (above 85%) included Bali, the Special Region of Yogyakarta, East Java, and Central Kalimantan, while low compliance (below 70%) was observed in North Maluku, Bengkulu, and Maluku. Similarly, provinces with high physical distancing compliance (above 80%) were Bali, Yogyakarta, and East Java, while lower compliance rates were observed in North Maluku and Bengkulu. Descriptive analysis indicated that provinces with higher compliance levels generally experienced lower COVID-19 transmission rates. This study highlights the importance of public adherence to health protocols, particularly mask-wearing and physical distancing, in reducing the spread of COVID-19. Effective government policies, continuous public education, and community engagement are essential to maintaining high compliance levels. The findings suggest that behavioral and policy interventions must be strengthened and adapted to regional characteristics to ensure sustainable pandemic control in Indonesia.

Abstract

In all nations, including Indonesia, anemia during pregnancy is a serious issue for expectant mothers. Due to poor regular ingestion of iron, pregnant women suffer from anemia. According to Riskesdas, 37.1% of Indonesian pregnant women suffered from anemia in 2020. 5.8% of people in East Java Province suffered from anemia. In 2017, 10.42% of pregnant women in Jember Regency and 47.993% of pregnant women in Jombang District had anemia. According to Dolang (2020), anemia affects 25.0% of people who do not frequently take iron tablets and 74.5% of people who do not regularly take iron supplements. Goal: to ascertain if frequent use of iron supplements and the incidence of anemia during the third trimester of pregnancy are connected. This study employs a correlational technique and an analytical research strategy. Using a proportionate random sampling approach, 42 pregnant women made up the sample, whereas 47 pregnant women made up the population in this study. Analyzing data with Fisher's exact test. The results of the study showed that 13 (31.0%) of the individuals did not regularly use iron supplements, whereas 29 (69.0%) did. Twenty (48.0%) of the people did not have anemia, whereas 22 (52.0%) did. Fisher's exact test findings revealed a p-value of 0.01 < 0.05. The prevalence of anemia during the third trimester of pregnancy is significantly correlated with the regular use of iron supplements. In conclusion, anemia is more common in women who do not regularly take Fe pills than in mothers who do. To promote the rise in Fe pills, pregnant women must take them consistently every day and have a healthy diet.
