Abstract

In dentistry, we can correct malocclusion and malposition by moving the teeth with orthodontic treatment. After the orthodontic treatment is done there’ll still be a possibility of relapse. Relapse is when the teeth return to their original position before the orthodontic treatment was done. The prevalence of relapse after orthodontic treatment is still quite high. Relapse prevention can be achieved through the use of mechanical devices but, they have some limitations. Natural materials can be used as an alternative as the prevention method that can prevent the relapse from happening. Roselle extract contains chemical compounds that have the potential to prevent relapse after the orthodontic treatment is done. To observe the potential of chemical compounds in roselle flower extract as a relapse prevention method after orthodontic treatment. This research was a laboratory experiment. The research phase began with the extraction of rosella flowers (Hibiscus sabdariffa Linn), then continued with the second stage, namely the phytochemical screening of rosella flowers (Hibiscus sabdariffa Linn) using the color reaction method. The phytochemical tests showed that the roselle flower extract contains chemical compounds such as flavonoids, tannins, and saponins. Conclusion: The roselle flower extract contains chemical compounds such as flavonoids, tannins, and saponins, which have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties, making it potentially effective in preventing relapse after orthodontic treatment.

Abstract

This study evaluates the implementation of the E-Government program in DKI Jakarta using the CIPP (Context, Input, Process, Product) evaluation model and the Kirkpatrick model. The CIPP evaluation results indicate that the E-Government program has successfully integrated various public services into a digital system aligned with the Regional Medium-Term Development Plan (RPJMD). The program requires ongoing investment in information technology infrastructure and training for civil servants, as well as increased participation from various government agencies and the public. The product evaluation results show improved government transparency and accountability, making it easier for the public to access public services and government policy information. The evaluation using the Kirkpatrick model shows positive results at every evaluation level, with users providing positive feedback on e-government services, increased understanding, adoption of digital services, and significant long-term impacts on operational efficiency, transparency, and public satisfaction. However, this study also identifies challenges that need to be addressed, such as technology infrastructure gaps, digital literacy among the public, and data security and privacy issues. Addressing these challenges will optimize the implementation of E-Government in DKI Jakarta and support the government's vision of an efficient, inclusive, and responsive Smart City.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the impact of the "Pekan Gawai Dayak" cultural event on tourists' decision to visit Pontianak City. The research uses a quantitative approach with a causal relationship type of study. The subjects of this research are limited to tourists who attended the 37th Pekan Gawai Dayak Pontianak event in 2023. Data collection techniques include the use of questionnaires. Data analysis techniques use correlation tests with the help of SPSS software version 25. Based on the research results, several conclusions can be drawn, First, the Spectacularisation dimension has a significant partial influence on the Decision to Visit, as indicated by a t-value of 2.335 > t-table (1.98) and a significance value of 0.022 < 0.05. Second, the Theme dimension does not have a significant partial influence on the Decision to Visit, as indicated by a t-value of 1.276 < t-table (1.98) and a significance value of 0.205 > 0.05. This means that respondents did not consider the theme of the Pekan Gawai Dayak event when deciding to attend the event. Third, the Immersion and Participation dimension has a significant partial influence on the Decision to Visit, as indicated by a t-value of 2.324 > t-table (1.98) and a significance value of 0.022 < 0.05. Fourth, the "Pekan Gawai Dayak" cultural event has a positive and significant simultaneous influence on tourists' Decision to Visit Pontianak City, as indicated by an F-value of 10.809 > F-table (2.70) and a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05. Furthermore, the coefficient of determination indicates that the cultural event influences 53.6% of tourists' decision to visit Pontianak City, while the remaining 46.4% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of innate (nature) and environmental (nurture) factors on human psychological development, using the Quran and Hadith as foundational perspectives. The research employs a literature review, collecting data from books, journals, and other sources. The process involves identifying the main topic, using keywords to search academic databases, selecting quality literature, analyzing findings, and compiling results. The study reveals that while Allah SWT has meticulously designed human nature, individuals are shaped by genetic and environmental influences. Parents or caregivers significantly affect personality, behavior, and beliefs. The Quran and Hadith emphasize recognizing one’s nature, practicing gratitude, and following Allah's teachings to maintain faith and knowledge. Ultimately, humans are entrusted with the responsibility to fulfill their purpose in seeking Allah’s pleasure through worship and righteous living. Therefore, awareness of nature, knowledge, and practices in accordance with His teachings are fundamental to achieving the life purpose desired by Allah SWT.

Abstract

The number of homeless in Tangerang Regency is the highest in Banten province, so a government commitment is needed to control the high number of homeless in Tangerang Regency. This study aims to identify and describe the factors that cause the governance of homelessness prevention in Tangerang District not to be optimal by using the constructivism paradigm that relies on qualitative data with an inductive approach. The data analysis technique used is thematic analysis with the coding method. The results of the study illustrate that the governance of homeless control in Tangerang Regency is still not running optimally. There are several factors affecting the homelessness governance is not working, namely the lack of human resources, lack of infrastructure, and lack of accredited LKSA by the Ministry of Social Affairs. Abstract

The garbage piled up in the ocean can be caused by household waste and increasing marine tourism and shipping activities. The increase of marine debris is an international case because it has impacted the global climate crisis resulting in the damage of marine ecosystems. Those large impacts caused by pollution in the ocean prompted many parties to make regulations regarding the marine debris crisis. In carrying out its project, 4ocean cleans up the garbage by transporting it from rivers, coasts, and the ocean, then brings it to the land and processes it into recycled products. The 4Ocean teams work using environmentally friendly equipment. 4Ocean cleans the ocean by removing around one million pounds of garbage every month. This project can help the government tackle the marine waste crisis. The method used in this research is a literature study where the author collects data through previous writings and searches for data from the internet. This research aims to look at the role of international organizations as one of the actors in international relations in dealing with the waste crisis.
