Abstract

Dysmenorrhea can be described as pain that occurs during menstruation due to excessive release of prostaglandins, causing hyperactivity of uterine contractions and resulting in pain during menstruation. Non-pharmacological measures to treat dysmenorrhea can be done by Abdominal Stretching Exercise and Dysmenorrhea Exercises. The aim of this case study is to identify the effect of Abdominal Stretching Exercise and Dysmenorrhea Gymnastics on reducing the intensity of menstrual pain (primary dysmenorrhea) in adolescents. Research Method This case study uses a quasi-experimental method with a pre-posttest control group design approach. Based on the results of the case study, it was found that there was a difference in reducing the intensity of pain in adolescent girls who were given the Abdominal Streching Exercise and Dysmenorrhea Exercise intervention. The results can be concluded that the Abdominal Streching Exercise and Dysmenorrhea Exercise had an effect on reducing the pain intensity of primary dysmenorrhea in adolescent girls. However, what is very significant in reducing the pain of dysmenorrhea is Abdominal Streching Exercise. Suggestions. It is hoped that the results of this case study can be used as non-pharmacological therapy in dealing with clients who experience menstrual pain (primary dysmenorrhea), increase the knowledge and insight of young women regarding how to deal with menstrual pain (primary dysmenorrhea), can be used as consideration and additional material for future reviewers, and can be used as a guide for future reviewers in continuing case studies about young women who experience menstrual pain (primary dysmenorrhea).

Abstract

Outstanding Teachers are educators who have superior performance in pedagogical, personal, social, and professional competencies that meet or even exceed National Education Standards. The Selection of outstanding teachers is important in improving the quality of education in schools. However, a manual selection process can result in unfairness in the assessment. Therefore, this research aims to make it easier for school principals to select outstanding teachers, namely by combining the multi-criteria method Stepwise Weight Assessment Ratio Analysis (SWARA) and Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique (SMART) in assessing and selecting teachers with the best quality at SMPN 6 Janapria. This research involved 16 teachers as alternatives being evaluated, with respondents consisting of principals, deputy principals, and class leaders from levels one, two, and three. The SWARA method was used to determine the weight of criteria according to their level of importance. Meanwhile, the SMART method is used to rank each alternative based on the weights that have been determined late. This research shows that this method can provide a more systematic and transparent selection process. Based on the ranking results, the teacher who received the highest score was Teacher HK with a score of 0.969, followed by Teacher ML with a score of 0.772, and Teacher RM with a score of 0.731. By implementing a decision support system based on the SWARA and SMART methods, the process of selecting outstanding teachers can be carried out more fairly and objectively. This approach is expected to help schools carry out assessments and select teachers who have the best performance based on validated data and criteria.

Abstract

In response to global educational dynamics, there is a growing need for innovative collaboration between schools and communities that is deeply rooted in local cultural values. This study aims to develop the Model of School and Community Relationship Management Based on Malay Culture (MHSM-BM Model) and to evaluate its effectiveness, along with the challenges encountered during its implementation at SD Negeri 105 Pekanbaru. Utilizing a Research and Development approach guided by the ADDIE model, data were collected through observation, interviews, and document analysis, and were analyzed using techniques of data reduction, presentation, and conclusion drawing. The development of the MHSM-BM model proceeded through five stages: analyzes, which examined existing relationships between schools and stakeholders; design, which integrated Epstein’s framework with twelve principles of Tunjuk Ajar Melayu that reflect the social values of the Malay community; development, involving validation by two expert assessors; implementation, where the model was applied in the school context; and evaluation, which assessed its overall effectiveness. The findings indicate that the model achieved a high level of effectiveness, with student and parental engagement exceeding 90 percent, supported by six key frameworks: pembinaan budi pekerti (character development), dialog dua arah (two-way dialogue), kepedulian sosial (social care), pembelajaran berkelanjutan (sustainable learning), pengambilan keputusan bijaksana (wise decision-making), and kolaborasi berdaya (empowered collaboration). However, challenges remain, particularly in maintaining ongoing collaboration among educators, students, and parents. Overall, the MHSM-BM model presents significant potential for broader application as a means to establish harmonious collaboration between schools and stakeholders.

Abstract

Flower bouquet SMEs in Lombok have great growth potential in the creative industry, but face various risks that can affect the sustainability of their business. This study aims to identify the types of risks faced, analyze the main causes of the risks, and formulate mitigation strategies that can be applied by flower bouquet SMEs. The method used in this study is the House of Risk (HOR), which consists of two phases: identification and risk assessment (HOR phase 1) and design of mitigation strategies (HOR phase 2). The results of the study indicate that the main risks faced by flower bouquet SMEs in Lombok include delays in procurement of raw materials, sudden increases in the price of fresh flowers, lack of employee training, and lack of quality control in product delivery. Based on the HOR analysis, the prioritized mitigation strategies include collaborating with more than one supplier, conducting routine training for employees, implementing quality inspection procedures before delivery, diversifying products, and optimizing digital marketing to increase competitiveness. With the implementation of effective mitigation strategies, it is hoped that flower bouquet SMEs in Lombok can increase their business resilience and competitiveness in the creative industry market.

Abstract

TikTok launched the TikTok Shop feature to continue its mission to make its users happy by providing easy shopping without having to switch applications. The purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of content marketing, live streaming and online customer reviews on purchasing decisions for fashion products on Shopee. This type of research is explanatory research with a quantitative approach. The population in this research is all consumers who have purchased fashion products on TikTok Shop. The data source used is primary data by distributing questionnaires. The research method is the probability sampling method which determines the sample with a purposive sampling technique. The sample was selected according to the guidelines of Hair et al (2010) which resulted in 135 respondents. The data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS statistical tool version 21. The results of the research show that Live streaming has a positive effect on purchasing decisions for fashion products. Content Marketing has a positive effect on purchasing decisions for fashion products. Online customer reviews have a positive but insignificant effect on purchasing decisions for fashion products. This research can provide in-depth insight into the factors that influence consumer purchasing decisions on TikTok Shop, especially for fashion products. These findings can be an important reference for business people, marketers, and researchers to develop more effective marketing strategies in the context of e-commerce.

Abstract

The marketing of woven fabrics greatly affects the community's economy, especially in the Lewokluok Tourism village. Marketing of woven fabrics must be done with good and appropriate methods so that they can provide satisfaction to customers. The purpose of this study is to market woven fabrics typical of Lewokluok tourist village using the web-based Customer Relationship Management method. The results of this study that by utilizing CRM, will make weaving galleries more important and expected so that close and open business relationships will be created and better two-way communication. The advantage of Customer Relationship Management is that it can manage all sales, and cutomer relationships in one database.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze farm labourers' wages in tobacco farming from an Islamic economic perspective in Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency. The research study focuses on implementing work agreements, the amount of wages, and the provision of wages to farm labourers in tobacco farming. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection was carried out through observation and in-depth interviews. Informants were determined using the snowball sampling technique and descriptive data analysis. The study concludes that labour wages in rice farming in Pujut District, Central Lombok Regency, have been implemented following Islamic law, namely the existence of an unwritten work agreement (agreement), work implementation according to the agreement, wages are paid on time according to the agreement, and there is an attitude of mutual assistance (ta'awun), sincerity, mutual consent (antaradin) and mutual consent (willingness) between workers and farm owners. It is recommended that workers in rice farming and tobacco farmers remain trustworthy and honest in implementing wages according to Islamic law as part of carrying out worship

Abstract

The study aims to analyze the influence of the work environment, social values, financial rewards, and the role of lecturers on students' career interests in the taxation sector. In the midst of globalization and rapid economic growth, it is essential to understand the factors that affect students' interest in pursuing a career in taxation. The methodology applied in this research is a survey with a quantitative approach and random sampling as a means to collect research data. Data collection was conducted through questionnaires distributed to students of accounting programs with excellent accreditation in Indonesia. There were 100 respondents from 18 universities in Indonesia. The data processing of the research results used IBM SPSS version 25. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression to determine the relationship between independent and dependent variables. The findings of the study indicate that a conducive work environment, high social values, and adequate financial rewards have a significant positive impact on students' interest in pursuing a career in taxation. Additionally, the role of lecturers as mentors and motivators has also been shown to contribute to enhancing students' career interests. The results of this research are expected to provide guidance for educational institutions and stakeholders in designing programs that support the career development of students in the taxation field.

Abstract

The development of the Samboja coastal area is expected to bring about social changes. These changes will not recur in the existing behaviors within the community. This study was conducted to identify the social changes occurring in the Samboja coastal area and to explain the social impacts that have been felt after the establishment of the Capital City of Nusantara (IKN). The research method used is descriptive qualitative. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews. The results of the study indicate that the social changes that have occurred have not been fully felt in the social structure and culture of the Samboja coastal community. Based on structural functional analysis, it is known that the social changes occurring in the Samboja coastal area manifest as a latent dysfunction condition because many expectations have not been realized as planned. Many parties' involvement is still considered insufficient. Furthermore, the social changes in the Samboja coastal area have led to a non-functional condition in the development of the tourist area through the privatization of the beach, which was previously open access. From a structural functional perspective, the condition of the Samboja coastal community has led to a phenomenon of anomie with a tendency towards ritualistic responses.

Abstract

This study explores the challenges faced by pre-service English teachers in Indonesia during their teaching practicum and the solutions they implemented to overcome these difficulties. Using a qualitative research approach with a narrative design, data were collected through observations, reflective teacher journals, and semi-structured interviews with ten pre-service teachers. The findings reveal three main challenges: pedagogical, motivational, and psychological barriers. Pedagogically, participants struggled to balance the complexity of the material with student engagement in heterogeneous classrooms. Motivational challenges included students’ perceptions of English as irrelevant to their daily lives, leading to low engagement. Psychological barriers, such as fear of making mistakes and language anxiety, significantly hindered students’ participation in speaking activities. To address these issues, pre-service teachers adopted strategies such as differentiated instruction, interactive teaching methods, and fostering a supportive classroom environment. These findings highlight the importance of comprehensive teacher training programs that equip pre-service teachers with practical teaching strategies and reflective practices. This study contributes to the growing body of research on teacher education and English language teaching by providing insights into effective pedagogical approaches to address classroom challenges in an EFL context.
