Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of spiritual leadership on employee performance with work ethic as a mediating variable at the Bram Itam Sub-district Office, Tanjung Jabung Barat Regency. The research method used is quantitative with a saturated sampling technique involving 37 respondents. Data was collected through questionnaires and analyzed using descriptive methods and Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) based on Partial Least Squares (PLS). The results of the study indicate that spiritual leadership does not have a direct significant effect on employee performance but has a positive and significant effect on work ethic. Furthermore, work ethic has a positive and significant effect on employee performance and significantly mediates the relationship between spiritual leadership and employee performance.

Abstract

SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kartasura is one of the schools that successfully increased student enrollment by 300% in the past year after appointing a new principal. This significant transformation was driven by the new principal's rebranding efforts, which introduced various modern initiatives across multiple aspects of the school to create a more distinct, appealing, and competitive image. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study method, gathering data through interviews, observations, and documentation to analyze the impact of these strategic changes. This study SMP Muhduta, the rebranding strategies M implemented to increase student enrollment and enhance the school's image, making it more positive, attractive, and high-quality. The findings show that the school achieved notable success in rebranding initiatives critical, including scholarship programs for orphans and underprivileged students, providing each student with a laptop to support digital learning, organizing monthly outing classes to promote experiential education, a “one-student-one-medal” program to encourage individual achievement, and the distribution of 1,000 proposals to generate interest, community involvement, and funding support. These efforts collectively contributed to a revitalized school image. They strengthened public interest, illustrating the critical role of strategic rebranding in boosting school appeal, building trust, and encouraging broader community participation in education.

Abstract

Land sale transactions often involve the creation of authentic deeds by Land Deed Officials (PPAT) and Notaries, which serve as valid evidence of land rights transfer. However, in practice, false statements by involved parties during the deed-making process frequently occur, potentially harming various stakeholders, including PPAT and Notaries. This study aims to analyze legal protection for PPAT and Notaries against false statements in authentic deed-making, with a case study of Decision Number 466/Pid.B/2023/PN.JKT.SEL. The research employs a normative legal approach by examining relevant legal regulations, legal doctrines, and court decisions. The findings indicate that PPAT and Notaries may bear legal responsibility if proven negligent in verifying the identities and statements of the involved parties. Nevertheless, legal protection for PPAT and Notaries can be enhanced through stricter regulations, improved verification mechanisms, and stronger sanctions for parties providing false statements. The study concludes that stricter supervision of authentic deed-making and increased legal awareness among PPAT and Notaries are necessary to prevent their involvement in document falsification cases

Abstract

Purpose: This research aims to explore the determinant factors that influence the interest of Mataram University accounting students in adopting blockchain technology using the Diffusion of Innovations Theory perspective. This research focuses on the characteristics of innovation, social and l factors that have the potential to improve the skills and innovation of accounting students. Methodology/approach: This quantitative study involved 306 students as selected respondents using purposive sampling methods. Data were collected through an online questionnaire and analyzed using SmartPLS. Results/findings: The results indicated that relative advantage, compatibility, trialability, and observability significantly influence accounting students’ interest in adopting blockchain technology, while complexity does not have a significant effect on students’ interest. Trialability emerged as the most crucial element affecting accounting students’ interest in adopting blockchain technology. Limitations: The limitations contained in this research are the limited population that only involves accounting students from Mataram University and the theoretical model in this research only uses the diffusion of innovations theory which focuses more on the process of spreading innovations in the population and may not fully explain the individual factors that influence students' personal decisions in adopting blockchain technology. Contribution: This research highlights the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and industry to support the adoption of blockchain technology in accounting education. The results of this study contribute to the literature related to the adoption of new technology in accounting education, particularly on blockchain technology.

Abstract

This research investigates the influence of a participatory training model grounded in learning communities on the performance of teachers at SMAN 1 Gunungsindur. The approach prioritizes active teacher participation in collaborative learning, experience exchange, and the implementation of innovative instructional techniques. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design with a quantitative methodology, data collection was conducted through surveys, observations, and interviews, followed by analysis using t-tests and simple linear regression. Findings reveal that training based on learning communities significantly improves pedagogical competence, teaching enthusiasm, and classroom management efficiency. Additionally, it enhances teachers' capacity to produce scientific papers. Hypothesis testing demonstrates a substantial improvement in teacher performance post-training compared to pre-training (p < 0.05). Essential success determinants include a cooperative school environment and favorable educational policies. Nonetheless, constraints such as time limitations and a shortage of skilled facilitators present challenges. Consequently, this study advocates for the broader adoption of this training model to sustainably enhance education quality.

Abstract

Background: Anemia in adolescents aged 15-24 years is 32% and it is estimated that 3 out of 10 people suffer from anemia. Several studies have been carried out, cases of anemia in young women are still high, this occurs due to lack of compliance with taking blood supplement tablets. The incidence of anemia in adolescent girls is around 12.1 million people due to not consuming Fe tablets. Research method: This research design uses a Quasi experimental design with pre and post test only with control group. This research was to determine the effect of giving red beet syrup and fe tablets to anemic adolescent girls in the Langsa City area. The research period was from August to September 2023. The total research sample was 30 D3 midwifery students who met the inclusion criteria and were willing to be respondents and did not suffer from chronic diseases. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. Results: The results of the Mann Witney Test showed a value of p = 0.000 < 0.05, which means there was a significant effect between the treatment group given red beet syrup and the control group. Based on the table above, it is known that in the Fe tablet group the average difference in hemoglobin increase was 8.10. In the Fe tablet and beetroot groups, the average difference in hemoglobin increase was 22.90 and the sig value was 0.000. Conclusion: based on the research results, it can be concluded that the group that gave 250 ml of red beet syrup (Beta vulgaris L) and fe tablets for 7 days proved to be more effective in increasing hemoglobin levels in adolescent girls with anemia.

Abstract

The problem in this study is the still minimal collection of science, fiction and non-fiction books that can support students' science skills, so that students do not experience a significant spike in borrowing books and visiting the library at SMPN 7 Sijunjung. This study uses a qualitative method with research informants consisting of the principal, head of the library, librarian, teacher, and students with data collection techniques in the form of observation, interviews and documentation studies. Data analysis uses data collection techniques, data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of this study indicate: (1) The management planning of the SMPN 7 Sijunjung library to improve students' science literacy skills has been planned very well because the library has conducted an analysis of needs before designing and establishing a program and improving literature collections, library facilities, planning guidance and training, conducting collaboration, and program evaluation. (2) The implementation of library management at SMPN 7 Sijunjung to improve students' science literacy skills has been carried out very well, namely by providing and updating science literacy collections, organizing science literacy programs, providing science literacy training and guidance, providing science literacy support facilities, collaborating with teachers and the science community and conducting program evaluations. (3) Evaluation of library management at SMPN 7 Sijunjung to improve students' science literacy skills has been carried out by conducting evaluations of library programs, library users and through the use of evaluation tools and techniques.

Abstract

Fiqh and Sufism are two branches of religious science with different orientations. Fiqh and Sufism have experienced a dichotomy because Sufism is oriented towards esoteric issues, while fiqh is oriented towards exoteric issues. Therefore, this study examines the synergy of fiqh and Sufism from the perspective of Abu Bakar al-Dimyati in his book entitled Kifayah al-Atqiya' wa Minhaj al-As}fiya' . This book contains a discussion of the morality of Sufis in taking the path to get closer to Allah SWT. So this study aims to analyze the synergy of Fiqh and Sufism Perspective of Abu Bakar al-Dimyati in the Book of Kifayah al-Atqiya' wa Minhaj al-As}fiya' . This type of research is library research, with a qualitative approach. The data was collected using documentation techniques, then analyzed using content analysis techniques. The main data source of this research is the book of Kifayah al-Atqiya' wa Minhaj al-As}fiya' with secondary data sources of relevant books and articles. The results showed the need for synergy of fiqh and Sufism. Fiqh as one of the sciences that contains learning of Islamic law is the initial step of a servant's journey in getting closer to Allah Swt which is the scope of Sufism. So that fiqh and Sufism cannot be separated, in fact they must be synergized with each other by every Muslim who seeks to get closer to Allah SWT. This research is expected to be able to broaden the insight of Muslims in exploring their role as servants and caliphs by adhering to sharia and Sufi morals.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss the perspective of the Prosperous Justice Party in maximizing the 30% gender quota for female candidates in all electoral districts in the 2024 legislative elections. The purpose of the study is to analyze the political phenomenon of the Prosperous Justice Party which is the only political party among 18 (eighteen) political parties that can fulfill the 30% quota for female legislative candidates in all electoral districts in the 2024 legislative elections. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive research type. Data collection is sourced from primary data through in-depth interviews with several informants. While secondary data comes from literature studies, both relevant books and articles, documentation in the form of laws and regulations related to legislative elections. In answering the research problems, the researcher uses the theory of gender quotas for female candidates and the concept of women's representation in parliament. The results of the study show that the Prosperous Justice Party has succeeded in implementing a gender quota of 30% for female candidates in the 2024 Legislative Elections as mandated by Law Number 7 of 2017 concerning Elections, Article 245. The success of the Prosperous Justice Party is in line with the party's motivation to be more female-friendly, both through work programs, female cadre formation to fill strategic positions within the party, and open institutionalization of female cadres as party elites.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of motivation and ability on business performance by considering the role of organizational commitment as an intervening variable in snack food MSMEs located in Central Bogor District. The samples used in this study were all snack food MSMEs that were actively registered and assisted by the Bogor City Cooperative and SME Office, with a total of 108 MSME units. The approach used in this research is descriptive and verification, with data analysis using the path analysis method. The results showed that motivation and ability have a direct and positive influence on organizational commitment and on business performance. In addition, organizational commitment acts as an intermediary variable in the relationship between motivation and ability to business performance. Based on these findings, it is recommended that business actors can further improve motivation, ability, and organizational commitment to encourage more effective business performance improvement.
