Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of product innovation, office networks, and information technology systems on the switching behavior of conventional bank customers who switch to Bank Syariah Indonesia (Case Study in Selong District). The data used is primary data collected through questionnaires/surveys. The population in this study consists of customers of Bank Syariah Indonesia who have previously used the services of conventional banks in the Selong area, with a sample obtained from 100 respondents using purposive sampling technique. In this study, a multiple linear regression analysis method was used. The results of the partial t-test are as follows: 1) Product Innovation has a significant positive effect on the switching behavior of conventional bank customers who switch to Bank Syariah Indonesia, with a sig. value of 0.000>0.05. 2) Office Network does not affect the switching behavior of conventional bank customers who switch to Bank Syariah Indonesia, with a sig. value of 0.559>0.05. 3) Information Technology System has a significant negative effect on the switching behavior of conventional bank customers who switch to Bank Syariah Indonesia, with a sig. value of 0.05=0.05. The F test (sim elevated) shows that product innovation, office network, and information technology system collectively affect the switching behavior of conventional bank customers who switch to Bank Syariah Indonesia in the Selong District. Of the three variables, the one that most dominantly influences switching behavior is the product innovation variable.

Abstract

Religious moderation has become a key concept in addressing the challenges of pluralism and social harmony in the modern world. In Indonesia, where diverse ethnic groups and beliefs coexist, the Mbojo tribal society, located in West Nusa Tenggara, offers a unique perspective on this issue. The Maja Labo Dahu Nggahi Rawi Pahu motto, which emphasizes unity, mutual respect, and collective responsibility, provides a foundation for religious moderation in this community. This research aims to explore the reflection of this motto in the context of Islamic education in Mbojo society and its role in promoting moderation. The study focuses on understanding how Islamic educational practices align with local wisdom and contribute to the cultivation of religious tolerance and harmony. Using a qualitative approach, the research employs field observations, interviews with community leaders, and an analysis of local educational practices to gather insights into the implementation of religious moderation. The findings indicate that the values embedded in Maja Labo Dahu Nggahi Rawi Pahu significantly influence the educational philosophy of the Mbojo community. Islamic education in this context encourages inclusivity, respect for diversity, and the cultivation of a balanced and moderate worldview. The integration of these values in everyday life has proven to be effective in fostering social cohesion, reducing religious intolerance, and promoting peaceful coexistence. This study contributes to the broader discourse on religious moderation and highlights the potential of integrating local wisdom with Islamic education to create a harmonious and inclusive society.

Abstract

This paper aims to compare the functions of Presidential Decrees before and after the enactment of the Law on the Formation of Legislation. As the head of government and head of state, the President possesses legal instruments in the form of determinations and regulations, one of which is the Presidential Decree. Presidential Decrees are not only understood as beschikking norms but can also be interpreted as legislation, policy regulations (beleidsregel), administrative decisions, and decisions of a general nature. This study employs a doctrinal legal research method to examine the legal norms in Indonesia and the comparison of the functions of Presidential Decrees before and after the enactment of the Law on the Formation of Legislation. The research findings indicate that prior to the enactment of the Law, Presidential Decrees functioned as legislation and legal instruments to create, modify, or revoke legal relationships. However, following the enactment of the Law on the Formation of Legislation, the function of Presidential Decrees has been narrowed. Presidential Decrees now only serve to determine specific matters related to the creation, modification, or revocation of legal relationships concerning specific subjects and circumstances.

Abstract

Indonesia's vast marine territory is seriously threatened by illegal fishing. The ship sinking policy based on Law No. 45/2009 on Fisheries is a firm step taken by the government to protect marine resources, marine ecosystems, and territorial sovereignty. This research uses a qualitative approach to examine the implementation of the policy as well as its environmental, legal and socio-economic impacts. The results show that this policy is effective in reducing illegal fishing and restoring marine ecosystems, especially coral reefs as an element of blue carbon. However, challenges such as diplomatic resistance, limited supervision, and environmental impacts require strategic solutions. Strengthened surveillance, optimal management of confiscated vessels, and international cooperation are needed for the sustainability of this policy.

Abstract

The settlement of general election result disputes (PHPU) is a crucial issue in realizing honest and fair elections in Indonesia. The Constitutional Court, as the guardian of the constitution, often faces a dilemma between applying Judicial Activism and Judicial Restrain in adjudicating PHPU cases, particularly regarding structured, systematic, and massive (TSM) violations. This article aims to analyze the concepts, influencing factors, and implementation of Judicial Activism and Judicial Restrain within the Constitutional Court's practices, by examining key rulings including Decision No. 01/PHPU-PRES/XVII/2019. This study employs a normative legal method with statutory, case, and conceptual approaches. The results show an inconsistency in the Constitutional Court's application of Judicial Activism, especially concerning TSM violations, which are often regarded as beyond its authority. On the other hand, Judicial Restrain is frequently used as a justification to limit the Court's assessment of substantive justice in the electoral process. This article recommends the need for a proportional balance between Judicial Activism and Judicial Restrain, as well as strengthening the Constitutional Court's role in ensuring electoral justice to protect citizens' voting rights and the quality of democracy.

Abstract

The approach of da'wah communication in instilling the values of religious moderation aims to form a tolerant, balanced, and peaceful understanding of religion, and avoid extreme attitudes (radical or liberal). In this context, the da'wah approach needs to be adjusted so that the message about wasathiyah (moderation) in Islam can be accepted and internalized. This study aims to identify the values of religious moderation in the Al-Mubarok Pajo Islamic boarding school, and aims to determine how the da'wah communication approach in instills the values of religious moderation in the Al-Mubarok Pajo Islamic boarding school. This type of research uses a field research with a qualitative approach. Qualitative descriptive data analysis with the Miles and Huberman data analysis model which includes three main stages, namely: Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Conclusion Drawing. The results of this study indicate that the values of religious moderation at the Al-Mubarok Pajo Islamic boarding school include Tawassut (middle way), I'tidal (Justice and Proportional), Tasamuh (tolerance), Asy-Shura (deliberation), Al-Muwathanah (love of the homeland), Al-La'unf (anti-violence) and I'tiraf Al-'urf (friendly culture). Using da'wah media through education, and internet media. The da'wah communication approach in instilling the values of religious moderation at the Al-Mubarok Pajo Islamic boarding school is using Da'wah bil-lisan, bil-qalam, and bil-hal with a persuasive, educational, and dialogical approach. The interpersonal approach is humanistic and contextual, adapted to the social and cultural conditions of the community. And the da'wah carried out is not judgmental, but encourages an inclusive and peaceful religious understanding.

Abstract

Teachers play a central role in education, holding a crucial position in the overall learning process at school. A teacher's personality is an essential requirement that must be possessed by an educator as a professional, as it significantly influences the success of a teacher in carrying out their duties. These duties are not limited to delivering knowledge but also include instilling noble values in students. Based on this line of thought, a teacher's personality becomes an attraction for students in engaging with the learning process in the classroom, thereby fostering their learning motivation. This study aims to determine the influence of teachers’ personality traits on students’ motivation to learn religion at SMPN 7 IT in the 2024 academic year. The research uses a quantitative approach with a correlational research type. The data analysis technique employed in this study is the product-moment correlation analysis. The results of this study are as follows: (1) It is known that the quality of students’ religious learning motivation, influenced by the teachers’ personality traits at SMPN 7 IT Dompu, is quite good and falls into the high category. (2) It is evident that there is a positive and significant influence between teachers’ personality traits and students’ motivation to learn religion at SMPN 7 IT in the 2024 academic year.

Abstract

Kekerasan verbal dalam keluarga merupakan bentuk kekerasan yang kerap diabaikan namun memiliki dampak serius terhadap perkembangan psikologis anak, terutama pada usia dini. Anak usia dini berada pada fase perkembangan yang sangat sensitif terhadap pengaruh lingkungan dan pola komunikasi keluarga. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kekerasan verbal dalam keluarga terhadap kesehatan mental anak usia dini di Desa Soki, Kabupaten Bima. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi langsung, penyebaran angket kepada responden, dan pengumpulan dokumen terkait kekerasan verbal dan kesehatan mental anak. Teknik analisis data menggunakan regresi linear berganda Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kekerasan verbal seperti bentakan, hinaan, dan ucapan merendahkan yang dilakukan secara berulang memberikan dampak negatif terhadap kesehatan mental anak. Tiga poin penting yang ditemukan adalah: (1) anak menunjukkan gejala kecemasan berlebih dan menarik diri dari lingkungan sosial, (2) gangguan tidur dan penurunan minat bermain sebagai bentuk respon psikologis, serta (3) kesulitan dalam konsentrasi dan proses belajar di lembaga pendidikan anak usia dini. Selain itu, ditemukan bahwa sebagian besar pelaku kekerasan verbal adalah orang tua dengan tingkat stres tinggi dan pola asuh otoriter. Penelitian ini merekomendasikan perlunya edukasi dan pendampingan psikologis bagi keluarga sebagai bentuk pencegahan. Hasil ini menegaskan bahwa kekerasan verbal memiliki pengaruh signifikan terhadap kesehatan mental anak, yang jika tidak ditangani sejak dini dapat berakibat pada gangguan psikologis jangka panjang.

Abstract

The objectives of this study are as follows: (1) to identify the history learning process at Senior High Schools; (2) to examine the factors contributing to the lack of student interest in history subjects at the senior high school level; (3) to explore efforts to increase students’ interest in learning history. The research method used is qualitative with a library research approach. Data sources were obtained through observations and interviews conducted with teachers and students. The data analysis techniques applied include data reduction, interpretation, and conclusion drawing. The results of the study show that: (1) The history learning process in Senior High Schools is generally still conventional, dominated by lecture methods and written assignments. This leads to low student engagement in the learning process, which negatively affects their interest and understanding of historical material; (2) The limited use of visual media, documentary videos, or digital technology in history learning makes the material feel dry and difficult to understand, especially for students with visual and kinesthetic learning styles; (3) The implementation of varied, interactive, contextual learning methods combined with digital-era technology integration can help increase students’ interest in learning history.

Abstract

Tradisi menenun pada masyarakat Sangga dahulu dilakukan oleh perempuan dari keluarga mapan. Perempuan dianggap kreatif apabila memiliki tenunan yang menjadi harta bawaannya saat memasuki rumah suaminya setelah menikah. Menenun bagi perempuan jaman dulu merupakan pekerjaan terhormat dan simbol kekuatan, kemandirian, kesabaran, keuletan serta kreatifitas. Sekarang menenun menjadi mata pencaharian bagi perempuan Sangga yang dapat memenuhi kebutuhan hidup dan pendidikan anak-anaknya. Tujuan Penelitian ini untuk menggambarkan penigkatan kemandirian ekonomi perempuan penenun berbasis pendekatan Kearifan Lokal Mbeca Wombo, mendeskripsikan cara perempuan penenun dalam mengelolah motif sarung yang menarik dan mengelolah hasil pendapatan dengan baik, mengatur pendapatan untuk mencukupi kebutuhan pendidikan anak-anak. Metode penelitian ini adalah Penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi Fenomenologi, penentuan informan dengan pengamatan mendalam, teknik penentuan informen secara Purposive Sampling. Data dianalisis dengan reduksi data, Penyajian data, verifikasi data, Trigulasi data. Peningkatan pendapatan perempuan dari hasil tenun dilakukan dengan kearifan lokal mbeca wombo yang mula-mula mengatur, mengelolah dan menata pemasukan, pengeluaran dengan baik sehingga dapat memenuhi kebutuhan keluargaa dan pendidikan anak. Penenun berinovasi dengan motif tradisional dan moderm agar menarik pembeli seperti motif garis, salungka motif fare, cori waji, salungka kabate, dan tembe pete menjadi motif khas sarungnya perempuan Sangga, sehingga pendapatannya semakin meningkat dan menjadikan perempuan mandiri secara ekonomi.
