Abstract

Amidst the rapid pace of technological development, the world of education has undergone major changes, including in the way Christianity is taught. Traditional teaching methods, which often focus on lectures and memorization, are now faced with new demands. Christian Religious Learning is not only intended to instill theological knowledge, but also to guide students in understanding and applying Bible teachings in their lives, both personally and socially. This study uses a qualitative method with a literature study approach to explore interactive learning models in Christian religious education in the digital era. Education in the Bible begins with the recognition that all true wisdom and knowledge comes from God. The wisdom of the Bible has strong relevance in dealing with contemporary issues, because the principles taught in the Bible are timeless. In a world that is constantly changing, biblical values such as justice, love, and forgiveness remain solid moral guidelines. Technology has provided wider access to Christian religious learning materials. Through the internet, Christians can access the Bible, daily devotions, sermons, and theological resources anytime and anywhere. This study shows that an interactive approach to Christian religious education significantly improves students' understanding and engagement with Bible teachings. Other findings confirm that integrating digital learning and biblical values not only improves cognitive learning outcomes but also deepens students’ spirituality. The findings of this study are based on the development of an innovative teaching paradigm that combines traditional Bible with digital technology innovations that have not previously been systematically applied in Christian education

Abstract

Abstract: The rise of interpretations from non-Christian religious leaders about Christian teachings is the highlight of the researcher in this study, especially the wrong interpretation of the crucifixion of the Lord Jesus. Non-Christian figures interpret that Jesus was never crucified, but it was someone else who was crucified because Jesus could disappear, besides that the opinions of the interpreters do not agree with each other, some say, Yudah Iscariot, Simon the Cyrenian, Simon the Arab, Barsabas and others. This interpretation contradicts the Christian Faith and the testimony of the Bible, so researchers want to prove with this research to prove that Jesus was really crucified and died on the cross. This research uses descriptive qualitative methods through literature studies supported by historical documents. From the results of the research, it was found that the undeniable fact according to the law that Jesus was crucified on the hill of Golgotha and died, and rose on the third day, as witnessed by eyewitnesses, also reinforced by the testimony of philosophers and early church fathers, as well as testimony from non-Christians that Jesus Christ was really crucified and died on the cross, was buried and rose on the third day.

Abstract

Abstract: This study examines the historical relationship between Christianity and ecology, highlighting the dynamics between criticism and constructive engagement within Christian traditions regarding environmental issues. The research employs a systematic literature review to identify and analyze relevant studies. The findings reveal that Christianity, while often criticized for its contributions to ecological degradation, also holds significant potential to support ecological sustainability through its teachings and practices. A historical perspective illustrates how Christian doctrines advocate for a symbiotic relationship between humans and nature. This study further explores how Christian ethical principles can contribute to environmental conservation. Through a review of existing literature, the research demonstrates that Christian beliefs can encourage sustainable practices despite challenges in integrating religious values. These findings underscore Christianity's substantial potential to contribute to environmental conservation through a holistic ethical and spiritual approach. The implications of this study highlight the importance of engaging Christian communities in environmental movements through approaches rooted in religious values. By leveraging Christian ethical principles, ecological organizations, and policymakers can bridge the gap between spirituality and sustainable practices. Furthermore, this research creates opportunities for interdisciplinary dialogue between religion and environmental science, emphasizing the need for strategies that integrate religious values into global sustainability initiatives.

Abstract

Abstract: Research on reputation building indicates that an individual's reputation relies on the combination of integrity with their social surroundings, viewing reputation through the lens of social interactions of that person. Additionally, reputation formation is observed in how an individual prioritizes integrity, even when faced with challenging social conditions; reputation is shaped by the social visibility of one's past actions. Nonetheless, this study highlights that reputation goes beyond mere verbal communication and social engagement—it undeniably incorporates the physical aspect. This article explores the idea of building a reputation through embodiment, illustrating the significant role the body plays in shaping a person’s reputation, examined through Proverbs 12:23. The research employs a literary analysis framework focused on the wisdom derived from Proverbs 12:23, utilizing figurative interpretation as a means of analysis. Various types accompany the interpretation in extracting the gist of Proverbs 12:23—related to embodiment for repute in non-verbal communication. Findings reveal that embodiment significantly influences one's societal reputation, integrity, and past conduct. The terms “cover” and “proclaim” suggest verbal expression and can be deduced from physical gestures. Therefore, verbal communication is seen as enhanced and substantiated by embodiment, significantly governing an individual's reputation.

Abstract

Abstract: The oppression of women who are considered trivial, low, and weak occurs in society, especially the church, which should apply God's love in its life. The patriarchal culture that is still inherent in the church order system is an important thing that needs to be highlighted. Oppressed and excluded women should get the same or equal rights as men. This research aims to create novelty and contribute to the academic world. To respond to this, the researcher researched the position of women in church services, especially in the cultural context of the Javanese Christian Church.  The understanding and role of feminist ecclesiology needs to be created in the context of ministry, especially in the Javanese Christian Church. The research method used is a qualitative method to support this research. In the context of Indonesia, especially in Javanese culture, patriarchal culture still exists today. Women often get an underestimated place in everything. In various aspects, women often get the last position, especially in the field of service in the Church.  This article aims to analyze women's ministry in the Javanese Christian Church from the perspective of feminist ecclesiology.

Abstract

Abstract: This study explores the continuity of the concept of salvation history (Old Testament) which is a topic of interest to readers of John's Gospel, having symbolic elements of Jewish festivals. Through a reading of John's Gospel, the reader discovers how not only Jesus is presented theologically as the Messiah but also the concrete fulfillment of what God revealed in the festivals and temples of that time. However, the understanding of how Jesus fulfills the symbols and festivals of the Old Testament has been the subject of theological debate. This research was conducted with a descriptive approach, by conducting a literature study related to salvation history from the perspective of the Gospel of John. It seeks to reveal how the Gospel of John reinterprets the festivals of salvation, offering a new understanding of Jesus as the true and final fulfillment of the new Passover for all believers and the establishment of Holy Communion in the Christian tradition. Jesus fulfills the symbolic meaning of the Feast of Salvation, and the Old Testament is seen as a shadow pointing to the ultimate reality in Christ. Jesus' participation in and reinterpretation of the feast is especially during His last supper, which is the Passover meal.

Abstract

Abstract:This study examines the roles of Jesus as both a historical and digital figure in the context of spiritual counseling, spiritual growth, and ethical implications in the age of artificial intelligence (AI). In a world increasingly shaped by technology, the presence of Jesus in digital form offers the potential to enrich the spiritual experiences of Christians. This research identifies how technological applications, such as AI-based counseling platforms and spiritual chatbots, can bring individuals closer to Jesus as a counselor and savior. Additionally, the study explores ethical challenges related to data privacy, the limitations of AI in understanding the depth of human spirituality, and the alignment between technology and the teachings of Christ. Using a qualitative approach through a literature review, this article provides insights into how technology can support or even replace deeper spiritual experiences, while still preserving Christian values. The implications of this study are significant for churches and spiritual organizations in integrating technology with ethics that honor spiritual values

Abstract

This article discusses the narrative of the marriage of the Prophet Hosea to Gomer in the Midrash tradition as an alternative interpretation that offers relevance to issues of relationships and morality in the modern era. The research findings indicate that the Midrashic tradition not only conveys theological messages but also serves as an effective medium for moral education and social critique. These findings have theological implications for contemporary relational dynamics, particularly concerning the values of loyalty, forgiveness, relationship restoration, and morality rooted in spirituality. This article emphasizes the urgency of revitalizing the legacy of ancient Jewish interpretations as the foundation for humane relational ethics amidst the increasingly complex global moral landscape.
