Abstract

Teachers are examples and facilitators for students in the teaching and learning process to achieve optimal competence. Teachers should be able to adjust learning resources that are useful and can support education and the goals and teaching and learning processes, both in the form of resource persons, textbooks, magazines, and newspapers. In addition, one of the efforts that can be made by a teacher in guiding or teaching students to understand the material well is by using teaching materials. This study aims to (1) produce PAI Fiqh teaching materials in Phase B, (2) produce a design for PAI Fiqh teaching materials in Phase B that are feasible in terms of validity, practicality, and effectiveness, The research method used is development research with the ADDIE model (analyze, design, development, implementation and evaluation). The subjects of the study were PAI teachers at SD Negeri 0909 Aliaga. Data collection in this study used an interview list, and a test instrument for the feasibility of the guide material, a test instrument for the feasibility of the guide display and a test instrument for the usability of the guide. The research data were analyzed using descriptive analysis, qualitative analysis and nonparametric analysis with the Kendall's Coefficient (W) statistical test and the Wilcoxon Rank Test. The results of the research show that: (1) the teaching materials used by PAI teachers are appropriate in terms of content and material, (2) the teaching materials can be used by PAI teachers and can be implemented well with students, (3) the level of appropriateness of the material is in the very feasible category with the percentage is 88.62%, and the display is in the very decent category with a percentage of 89.28%, and the level of use of guidance by PAI teachers is in the good category with a percentage of 74.66%. There was a significant increase in students' understanding results after PAI teachers used teaching materials that had been designed using the ADDIE model, so that these teaching materials could be said to be effective for PAI teachers to use in the teaching and learning process.

Abstract

One of the current issues in basic education is the low level of students' numeracy literacy, which also occurs in MIS Nurul Ilmi, Bima City. Students tend to be passive, less enthusiastic in monotonous learning, and show difficulty in understanding the basic concepts of reading and arithmetic. This problem is exacerbated by the lack of parental support in learning outside the classroom, which has an impact on their low literacy and numeracy skills. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of differentiated learning on students' numeracy literacy. The research method used was quantitative with descriptive statistical research and the data analysis method used was simple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS 16.0. The data presented in this study used primary data through questionnaires and student numeracy test results. The results showed that differentiated learning did not have a significant effect on students' numeracy literacy. This was indicated by the correlation coefficient value of 0.24 and the t-test result of 1.170, which was smaller than the t-table value of 1.734. The regression coefficient of 0.24 states that each increase in the differentiated learning variable (X) only contributes 24% to the increase in numeracy literacy (Y), while the remaining 76% is influenced by other factors outside this study.

Abstract

Reading is crucial when children enter elementary school. This contrasts with researchers' observations that many students in grades 1, 2, 3, and even 6 experienced reading difficulties before joining AHE. When parents taught them, children often complained about not being able to do so, even though second-grade material already requires children to understand the lesson. The purpose of this study was to determine the extent to which the AHE method improves children's reading skills. The researchers employed qualitative research methods, conducting observations, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that the AHE method was effective in improving children's reading skills.

Abstract

In the elementary education curriculum, learning about economic activities is often considered difficult for elementary school students to understand. Therefore, the use of nearpod-based interactive multimedia can increase student engagement with abstract and contextual materials such as economic conditions in their area. The purpose of this study is to develop nearpod-based interactive multimedia in fifth grade elementary school science learning. The researcher used the type of research and development Research and Development (R&D) referring to the Borg and Gall model that has been modified by Sugiyono. The results of this product development obtained a percentage of 96.66% valid category from material experts, 98.18% very valid category from design experts, 91.11% very valid category from language experts, and 93.33% very valid category from education practitioners. Based on the results of the pretest posttest, the N-Gain value was obtained = 0.88. When converted into n-gain interpretation, nearpod-based interactive multimedia is included in the category of having high effectiveness. Student and teacher responses obtained a percentage of 100%, so that the nearpod-based interactive multimedia that has been developed is categorized as very practical.

Abstract

This study explores the integration of Virtual Reality (VR) in microteaching to enhance the pedagogical competence of pre-service teachers. Grounded in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the research examines the influence of perceived ease of use (PEOU) and perceived usefulness (PU) on pedagogical development during immersive teaching simulations. A quantitative explanatory approach was employed, involving 60 undergraduate students from the Elementary Teacher Education Program at the University of West Sulawesi, Indonesia. Data were collected through structured questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) via SmartPLS 4.0. The findings revealed that both PEOU and PU significantly and positively influence pedagogical competence, with PEOU demonstrating the strongest effect. Additionally, PEOU strongly predicted PU, reinforcing the central relationships outlined in TAM. The model accounted for 82.8% of the variance in pedagogical competence, indicating substantial predictive power. These results support the application of VR as an effective tool in teacher preparation, particularly in bridging the gap between theoretical knowledge and real classroom practice. It concludes that microteaching supported by virtual reality not only fosters instructional skill development but also promotes technology acceptance among pre-service teachers. Implications for curriculum design and teacher training in rural contexts are discussed.

Abstract

Primary education encompasses not only academic achievement but also the cultivation of students' character. A significant challenge in this context is the rising incidence of bullying within school settings. This study aims to examine the role of teachers in addressing bullying among second-grade students at MI Salafiyah Asy-Syafi’iyah Temuguruh. This research employs a qualitative method. The findings reveal that teachers assume roles as educators, mentors, and advisors by implementing moral development strategies. In responding to both physical and verbal bullying, teachers adopt persuasive, empathetic, and humanistic approaches. Nevertheless, the effectiveness of these efforts is hindered by the absence of clear school policies and limited parental involvement. The study affirms the pivotal role of teachers as key agents in fostering an anti-bullying culture within primary education environments.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the moral messages contained in children’s stories written by students of the Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Teacher Education (PGMI) program as an alternative literary learning material in elementary schools. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data drawn from children’s story manuscripts written by 10 third-semester PGMI students at the Islamic University of Jember. The analysis focused on narrative passages and dialogues containing moral values, using Miles and Huberman’s model of data reduction, display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that all student-created stories included moral messages that are appropriate as role models for pupils. The messages were conveyed both explicitly and implicitly, encompassing character values such as honesty, responsibility, religiosity, hard work, and gratitude. These findings suggest that PGMI students’ literary works can serve as alternative teaching materials that are contextual, engaging, and relevant for fostering positive character development in elementary students. Thus, student-created children’s stories not only act as a medium of creative expression but also contribute significantly to character education and literacy in primary schools.

Abstract

This study examines the strategic role of Islamic Religious Education in primary schools/madrasahs in shaping students' self-control and moral character in the era of digitalisation. Using the Systematic Literature Review method with the PRISMA approach, this study analyses ten scientific publications from 2022-2025 that are relevant to the research theme. The findings show that the transformation of Islamic Religious Education methodology in SD/MI through the integration of digital technology can increase the effectiveness of learning and the internalisation of Islamic values. Moral education acts as a protective barrier against the negative impacts of technology, including digital addiction, cyberbullying, and moral degradation. Islamic Religious Education teachers in SD/MI have a strategic function as transformative facilitators who combine pedagogical-digital competencies with spiritual mentoring. The implementation of a holistic approach through multi-stakeholder collaboration between schools, families, and communities is key to shaping students' Islamic character while being technologically adaptive. The study recommends the development of a digital literacy-based PAI curriculum in SD/MI, the strengthening of teacher training programmes, and the establishment of a character education ecosystem that is responsive to the challenges of the digital age to optimise the role of PAI in shaping a generation with noble character.
