Abstract

This research addresses the issue of moral degradation among teenagers, particularly in the context of SMPN 5 Percut Sei Tuan. This research aims to identify and analyze civic values that are important to prevent moral degradation among students. The research method used is a qualitative approach. Interviews and focus group discussions with educators, parents, and students are used to gather insights into the existing moral landscape and civic values that need to be strengthened. The data obtained will be analyzed using thematic analysis techniques to identify the main themes that emerge from the research results. The research findings revealed that values such as responsibility, empathy, respect and active participation are critical to fostering a positive moral environment. This research contributes to the understanding of how educational institutions can play an important role in shaping adolescents' moral character. The recommendations provided aim to serve as a framework for educators and policy makers to implement effective strategies that not only improve academic achievement but also foster responsible and civic-minded citizens. Ultimately, this study underscores the importance of cultivating civic-minded values as a means to combat moral degradation and promote a healthier and more ethical society

Abstract

This research aims to determine whether there are differences in mathematical problem solving abilities through the contextual learning model assisted by Quizizz in terms of visual spatial intelligence. This research is a quantitative research type of True Experimental Design. The research subjects were class VIII students at SMPN 17 Pontianak with a total of 60 students. The samples in this study were class VIII B as an experimental class using the contextual learning model assisted by Quizzizz and class VIII A as a control class using a conventional learning model. Data was obtained from the mathematical problem-solving ability test given to students. The data analysis technique used a two-way anava test and an advanced test using a double comparison test with the Sheffe method. Based on the results of the analysis and discussion of the research data, the results were obtained that the ability to solve mathematical problems using the quizizz-assisted contextual learning model is better than the ability to solve mathematical problems using the conventional learning model. There is an interaction between the quizizz-assisted contextual learning model and students' spatial visual intelligence on mathematical problem solving

Abstract

Busy book media made from recycled materials is a type of book that is generally made from flannel combined with other recycled materials. This research aims to determine the effect of busy book media made from recycled materials on improving fine motor skills in students in class A, Kindergarten Pertiwi II Sossok, Mataran District, Kec. Anggeraja District. Enrekang. This research is a type of quantitative experimental approach. The experimental approach aims to test hypotheses related to cause-and-effect relationships and the population in this study is 20 students aged 4-5 years and residing in Kindergarten Pertiwi II Sossok, Mataran Village, Anggeraja District, Enrekang Regency. The data collection technique in this research uses observation and documentation which involves direct and structured observation of the results. Data analysis uses quantitative descriptive. The research results obtained show that students' fine motor skills before being treated using busy book media had an average pretest score of 14.6, which is included in the low category. After being treated with busy book media, the posttest score for students' fine motor skills increased to 32.4, which is included in the high category, of course this busy book media really influences students. Therefore, teachers are advised to use busy books made from recycled materials in the learning process to create an effective and enjoyable learning atmosphere for students

Abstract

This study discusses the role of ethics in the legal profession in Indonesia, as well as the challenges faced by this profession in the digital era. Professional ethics for lawyers serve as the main foundation in maintaining integrity, credibility, and public trust in the legal system. Based on an analysis of the lawyer’s code of ethics, Law Number 18 of 2003, and related regulations, this study identifies the importance of implementing ethical principles such as integrity, honesty, and competence in legal practice. Violations of the code of ethics, as seen in the electronic ID card (e-KTP) corruption case, can damage public trust in both the legal profession and the legal system. This research uses a normative approach with doctrinal analysis of regulations and legal literature. The findings show that, although the lawyer's code of ethics provides guidelines to maintain professionalism, the digital era presents new challenges that require adjustments in ethical practices. In conclusion, to maintain the integrity of the legal profession and public trust in the legal system, lawyers must uphold ethical principles, adapt to technological developments, and ensure consistent application of the code of ethics

Abstract

The era of globalization and digitalization, educational institutions face new challenges to improve competitiveness. This study aims to analyze the application of information and technology-based strategic management at MA Nurul Wahid Al Wahyuni Sumberan Besuk to identify strategies to improve performance and competitive position. A qualitative approach is used with a case study type. Data collection techniques used participant observation, in-depth interviews, and document analysis with key informants of the principal, head of facilities, teachers, and students, while the data analysis used consisted of data reduction, data display, and conclusion. The results showed that despite budget and infrastructure limitations, strategic solutions such as educator training, open-source software utilization, and cloud-based service integration succeeded in improving decision-making effectiveness and operational efficiency. This provides new insights into technology adaptation strategies for educational institutions with limited resources and underscores the importance of continuous investment in infrastructure and digital iteration for continued competitiveness

Abstract

The curriculum is a set of plans and arrangements regarding learning materials that serve as a guide in teaching and learning activities. Indonesia has experienced several curriculum changes, including the 1947, 1964, 1968, 1973, 1975, 1984, 1994, 1997, 2004, 2013, and Merdeka Curriculum. Given the importance of the concepts of curriculum and learning in the education system, efforts are needed to plan lessons that align with the material being taught. The relatively quick shift from the 2013 Curriculum to the Merdeka Curriculum has made many teachers feel unprepared for these changes. At SMA Negeri 14, the 2013 Curriculum is applied for grade 12, while the Merdeka Curriculum is implemented in grades 10 and 11

Abstract

This study focuses on the analysis of the connotative meaning contained in the lyrics of the song Kita Bikin Romantis by MALIQ & D’Essentials. Literary works, produced through language, not only reflect the life and culture of society, but also play a role in shaping and developing the culture itself. Literature as an art and science has aesthetic and analytical aspects related to the expression of emotions and ideas, including in the arts of music, drama, dance, and painting. The song Kita Bikin Romantis as a work of art uses language to convey emotional and symbolic messages, which focus on romantic actions in everyday life. This study aims to reveal how this song connects music, language, and socio-cultural contexts in creating a richer understanding of the message conveyed to the listener. Through a qualitative descriptive approach, this study explores the connotative meaning that not only shows romance through big actions, but also through small, meaningful attentions, such as serving hot tea or asking about a partner. The researcher analyzed the connotative meaning in each lyric. This study resulted in a study of the connotative meaning of a song. The results of this study are expected to contribute to the study of music semiotics and inspire listeners to better understand the interpretation of song lyrics in a broader cultural and emotional context.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the development of student independence in Idhata Balakia Kindergarten Sinjai Barat through the application of leaf and pine fruit collage, as well as identify supporting and inhibiting factors for its development. This study uses a descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection technique in this study uses observation, interviews and documentation. The informants in this study were 2 teachers and 10 students at Idhata Balakia Kindergarten. Data analysis techniques use data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The way teachers increase the independence of group B students of Idhata Balakia Kindergarten is by doing good habits, setting a good example, and appreciating students so that they are more confident in what they are doing so that other students are motivated. The learning independence of group B students through the application of collage is in the category of Developing According to Expectations (BSH), this shows that collage activities can develop the learning independence of students to be able to carry out their own activities and be more confident in completing their tasks. The supporting and inhibiting factors for the development of students' independence are a supportive school environment with teachers and peers that provide positive encouragement for children and parents who still accompany their children in the classroom

Abstract

Adolescent students are in a phase of a critical period in individual development, where students are beginning to be required to be able to make important decisions regarding the future, including decisions regarding careers. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between family cohesiveness and career maturity of adolescent school students. The research method used is library research or literature research. This study uses data obtained from primary sources, namely journals and scientific articles related to family cohesiveness and adolescent career maturity. Data were obtained using 5 scientific articles. Data analysis was carried out using content analysis techniques. The research results show that family cohesiveness has an important role in supporting students' career maturity. Families that have close emotional relationships and open communication can provide a sense of security and confidence to teenagers, which influences their ability to recognize their own potential and make career-related decisions. Emotional, social and practical support from the family helps students to explore career options more openly and maturely. The implications of this research can be used by parents in supporting teenagers to make decisions regarding life

Abstract

The Islamic education system aims to develop human nature (basic potential) in order to become human resources with noble character. The Islamic education system is based on the ideology of monotheism which is sourced from the Qur'an and Al-Sunnah as well as ijtihad. This study uses a literature review approach. Literature reviews focus on the analysis and synthesis of relevant academic sources. In this study, data and information that support writing are collected by searching the library, searching for relevant sources, and searching for data through the internet. The analysis is carried out through a systematic process in identifying, categorizing, and comparing various strategies and methods used in the Islamic education environment in Indonesia. The results of this study explain that the system in the context of education refers to the education system or learning system, which includes various elements, processes, and structures involved in the implementation of education. This system includes the ways in which education is delivered to students, the rules that govern educational activities, and the structure of the institution that organizes it. The Islamic education system in Indonesia has characteristics that have developed along with the long history of Islamic civilization in the country. Islamic education in Indonesia can be found in various forms, ranging from formal to informal educational institutions
