Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using audio-visual media on the learning interest in Mathematics of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 4 Karangkemojing. The method used in this study is quantitative with a pre-experimental research type. The design used is a one-group pre-test and post-test, with data collection carried out using pre-test and post-test questionnaires. The average percentage of the post-test scores after the audio-visual media was applied to Mathematics learning is 85%. The results of the hypothesis test using the Paired Samples Test technique at a significance level of 5% obtained a t-value < 0.05, namely 0.004 < 0.05, thus Ho is rejected and Ha is accepted. From the results of this test, there is an effect of audiovisual media on the interest in learning mathematics in the fourth grade of SD Negeri 4 Karangkemojing

Abstract

This research aims to find out the application of the origin of leadership in Islamic Education institutions. This study uses the literature study method as the main research approach. The data is collected through systematic searches in physical and digital libraries, by utilizing academic databases such as Google Scholar and national journal portals. Literature selection criteria include relevance to the topic, academic credibility, and up-to-date publications. Data were analyzed using a descriptive qualitative approach. The results of the analysis show that leadership is the process of influencing or freeing a leader through his followers in achieving organizational goals and having the ability to carry them out so that he becomes a competent leader. Becoming a successful leader is certainly not easy, there are a lot of problems that arise when becoming a leader, one of the factors that support the success of one's leadership is by studying leadership theory. These theories are genetic leadership theory, social leadership theory, and ecological leadership theory. The importance of studying this theory implies that a leader can understand the extent of his abilities, what competencies have been learned and what learning process he has done and learn the origin of the leadership he masters which can then be used as a reflection of himself to run an organization or institution more neatly arranged in accordance with very good achievement targets.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the role of transformational leadership in improving the performance of insurance companies through innovation strategies, human resource development, and organisational education. This research uses a literature review method with a qualitative approach, where data is analysed using thematic descriptive analysis techniques. Data were collected from scientific articles published between 1978-2025 and obtained from Google Scholar and trusted academic sites. Of the 50 articles reviewed, 33 were selected through rigorous selection based on their relevance, methodological quality, and contribution to the research topic. The results showed that transformational leaders play a role in fostering an innovative culture, increasing human resource capacity through continuous training, and building an organisational education system that is adaptive to industry changes. Previous studies also support that this leadership style is able to improve company performance in terms of financial, operational, and employee satisfaction.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the procurement of library facilities at SMA Negeri 01 Pedamaran, Ogan Komering Ilir. The research employs a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data were collected from five informants through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data analysis process involved data collection, presentation, verification, and conclusion drawing, with data validity ensured through triangulation. The findings indicate that the procurement of library facilities at SMA Negeri 01 Pedamaran has been implemented through stages including needs analysis, procurement planning, budgeting, procurement execution, and evaluation. Supporting factors include competent human resources and government policies, while inhibiting factors encompass unmet user needs, limited space capacity, and socio-cultural changes

Abstract

This study aims to develop an interactive learning media based on the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) approach to enhance students’ economic and environmental literacy at the secondary school level. The research employed a Research and Development (R&D) method using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The subjects were 30 tenth-grade students from SMA Negeri 1 Angkola Selatan. The instruments used included expert validation sheets, pre-test and post-test questionnaires, and student response questionnaires. The validation results indicated that the media was categorized as highly feasible with an average score of 91.5%. The student trial showed that 86% of the students found the media very helpful, and 14% found it helpful in understanding the learning materials. The effectiveness test showed a significant improvement in students' economic and environmental literacy scores, with an average pre-test score of 62 and a post-test score of 85. The N-Gain value of 0.61 indicated a moderate to high level of effectiveness. This media proved to be academically effective and socially relevant, as it supports contextual learning, critical thinking, and awareness of environmental sustainability. Therefore, the STEM-based interactive media is feasible to be used as an interdisciplinary learning alternative under the Merdeka Curriculum.

Abstract

This study aims to describe how to improve student learning outcomes in Pancasila education learning using the Team Games Tournament model assisted by the Book Creator application in class IV SDN 120 Suka Maju, Jambi City. This type of research is classroom action research (CAR) using two types of approaches, namely qualitative and quantitative approaches. This research was carried out in two cycles, with research procedures consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were class teachers as observers, researchers as practitioners or teachers, and 25 class IV students of SDN 120 Suka Maju, Jambi City. Data collection techniques in the form of observation analysis, tests and non-tests. The resulting data was analyzed in a quantitative descriptive manner. The results of the study showed that: First, the cycle I teaching module obtained an average of 85.4% (B), increasing in cycle II to 95.83% (SB). Second, the results of the implementation of the teacher aspect of cycle I obtained an average of 83.93% (B), increasing in cycle II to 96.42% (SB). Third, the results of the implementation of the student aspect of cycle I obtained an average of 82.14% (B), increasing in cycle II to 96.42% (SB). Fourth, the learning outcomes of students in cycle I obtained an average of 77.6 (C), increasing in cycle II to 91.5 (SB).

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of competence, job satisfaction, and commitment on teacher performance at SMK Negeri 1 Binjai. The research uses a quantitative approach with an associative method. Primary data was collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 72 respondents. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression with the help of SmartPLS 4 software. The results of the analysis showed that competence had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance (t-statistic = 2.935 > 1.99; p = 0.000 < 0.05). Job satisfaction also had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance (t-statistic = 2.916 > 1.99; p = 0.000 < 0.05). In addition, commitment had a positive and significant influence on teacher performance (t-statistic = 4.628 > 1.99; p = 0.000 < 0.05). Thus, the three independent variables significantly affect the performance of teachers at SMK Negeri 1 Binjai.

Abstract

The study aims to determine the effect of the implementation of accrual-based accounting and internal control systems on the accountability of performance in government institutions at the State Asset Management Agency. The type of research used is associative research method with the help of SPSS version 19. This study employs multiple linear regression analysis. The sample in this study consists of 92 respondents. Primary data collection was conducted using a questionnaire. The research results indicate that accounting standards have a positive and significant partial effect on the accountability of government performance in the State Asset Management Agency. The test results show a t-count value of 4.554 > t-table value of 1.98 with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, therefore, hypothesis H2 is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that the internal control system has a positive and significant partial effect on the accountability of government performance in the State Asset Management Agency. The research results show that accrual-based accounting and internal control systems have a positive and significant effect on performance accountability with an F-count value of 16.521, which is greater than 3.10, and a significance value of 0.000 which is less than 0.05.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to understand the internal control system for merchandise inventory at Indomaret Minimarket. The issue faced by this company is the frequent loss of inventory. This type of research is descriptive research. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. Data collection was done through interviews and documentation. The data sources used primary data and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that the internal control system for merchandise inventory at Indomaret Minimarket has not been implemented well. Effective actions to minimize damage and loss of merchandise and to maintain inventory levels have not been carried out properly. The internal control system implemented by the company has not been running effectively and efficiently because there are several internal control elements that have not been functioning well, such as the lack of strict separation of stores, warehouse functions, and the examination of goods transactions that are implemented by only one function. Additionally, employee rotation has not been conducted periodically; in the Indomaret warehouses and stores, there are still some CCTV cameras that are blurry or even not working, and there is also no monitoring function aimed at observing consumers shopping in Indomaret stores so that they do not rotate employees periodically to anticipate theft and similar actions.

Abstract

The Whole Language approach has been widely applied in Indonesian language learning, but there is still a gap in understanding its effectiveness, especially in elementary schools. This study aims to examine the application and effectiveness of Whole Language in improving Indonesian learning outcomes in elementary school students. This study uses Systematic Literature Review (SLR). The article selection process was carried out through searches in indexed journal databases such as Google Scholar, DOAJ, and Garuda with the keywords "Whole Language", "Indonesian Language Learning", and "Elementary School Learning Outcomes" in the range from 2020 to 2025. Articles selected based on inclusion and exclusion criteria amounted to 20 articles that were analyzed in depth. The results of the analysis showed that the application of the Whole Language approach significantly improved the reading and writing skills of elementary school students. In addition, the application of this method also shows an increase in students' motivation to learn, which is reflected in their active involvement in reading and writing activities
