Abstract

This study aims to analyze the active dynamic records maintenance system implemented at SMA IBA Palembang. The research is qualitative in nature with a descriptive qualitative approach. Data were collected through interviews, observation, and document analysis. The study involved 12 informants selected using purposive sampling, where the researcher chose samples based on specific considerations or characteristics relevant to the research objectives. The findings indicate that although SMA IBA Palembang has an adequate records management system, several challenges remain, including limited storage space, lack of staff training, and minimal use of information technology in records management. To improve the maintenance of active dynamic records in the future, the school needs to enhance storage facilities, provide regular training for staff, and utilize digital technology to streamline the records management process

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of the flipped classroom model on student learning outcomes in Sociology class X at SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung. This study is a quantitative research using a quasi-experimental approach. The population of this study is the 10th-grade students of SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung. The sample consists of class XE.6 as the experimental class and XE.7 as the control class, each comprising 36 students. Data collection techniques use objective tests with 40 questions, and the obtained data are analyzed using the t-test. The results show that the average score of the experimental class is 76,38, while the average score of the control class is 65,13. Based on the t-test calculation, the t-count value is greater than the t-table value, which is 4.250 > 1.994, indicating a significant difference in learning outcomes at a significance level of α = 0.05. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of the flipped classroom learning model has a significant effect on student learning outcomes in the Sociology subject for 10th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Enam Lingkung

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' learning outcomes in learning to solve problems using the Problem Based Learning model. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK), with a sample of 23 class V students at SDN 16 Air Tawar Timur. This research was carried out in two cycles, cycle I consisted of 2 meetings, and cycle II consisted of 1 meeting. Each cycle consists of four stages, namely, planning, implementation, observation and reflection. Data was collected through observations, interviews and several instruments. The resulting data was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively. The results of the study showed an increase in learning outcomes, namely in the first cycle the percentage was 76.3 and in the second cycle with a percentage of 91.73. Research shows that the PBL model can help improve student learning outcomes and foster students' interest in learning more. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model can improve student learning outcomes in mathematics learning flat building materials.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an assessment instrument based on Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) using the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model in physics measurement materials. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) by adopting the Borg & Gall model. The research subjects consisted of three expert validators who assessed the validity of the instrument based on aspects of content, constructs, language, and additional rules. The data collection technique is carried out through instrument validation sheets filled in by experts. The data analysis technique uses the Aiken's V index to measure the level of validity of each instrument item. The validation results showed that the assessment instrument developed had an average value of Aiken's V index of 0.94 with a very valid category. Based on these results, this assessment instrument is feasible to be used effectively in physics learning to improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness and limitations of a waste pollution module based on the Argument Driven Inquiry (ADI) model in shaping environmental behavior among biology students. A nonrandomized control-group pretest–posttest design was employed involving three biology student classes at Universitas Negeri Malang: the experimental class (ADI module), positive control (ADI model), and negative control (PowerPoint presentation). Data were collected using an environmental behavior questionnaire covering indicators of pro-environmental activity, non-active public behavior, and household environmental behavior. ANCOVA analysis showed that although all classes experienced an increase in posttest scores, there was no statistically significant difference among the treatment groups (p > 0.05). This indicates that the ADI module was not significantly more effective than other teaching methods in improving environmental behavior. Limitations such as online learning constraints, lack of direct interaction, and technical challenges in module implementation contributed to this outcome. Nevertheless, the ADI module has potential as a contextual learning tool and is recommended for further development into a more practical and interactive digital format.

Abstract

This research aims to improve initial reading ability by using smart board learning media. The research method applied is quantitative with an experimental approach. The research design used is Single Subject Research (SSR) with an A-B-A pattern. The subject of the study is a deaf student in grade III at SLBN 1 Payakumbuh. The data collection technique involves the use of tests as instruments and data collection tools, namely observation by recording the child's ability to use the checklist. Data analysis uses graphic visual analysis techniques. The results showed that in the initial baseline phase (A1), which was carried out during three meeting sessions, stable data was obtained at 11%. During the intervention phase (B), which lasted for seven meeting sessions, the stable percentage achieved at the ninth and tenth meetings where for the consonant "s" was 77% and for the consonant "r" was 88%. Furthermore, in the baseline session (A2) there is a stable percentage of 77% for the "s" consonant and 88% for the "r" consonant. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that Smart Board learning media can improve early reading skills in deaf children.

Abstract

The research analysis aims to analyze the influence of supervision, work environment and work facilities on job satisfaction at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional II Medan. The data analysis technique used is an associative research method with the help of the SPSS version 25 program. The sample in this study was 40 respondents. Primary data collection uses a questionnaire. This research uses multiple linear regression analysis. The research results show that the test results for the work supervision variable show a tcount value of 6.436 > ttable of 2.02 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, so hypothesis H1 is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that supervision has a partially positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional II Medan. The test results for the work environment variable show a tcount value of 6.306> ttable of 2.02 with a significant value of 0.000 <0.05, so the hypothesis H2 is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that the work environment has a partially positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at PT. Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional II Medan.  The test results for the work facilities variable show a tcount value of 1.657 < ttable of 2.02 with a significant value of 0.106 > 0.05, so hypothesis H3 is accepted and H0 is rejected, meaning that work facilities have a partially positive and significant effect on job satisfaction at PT Perkebunan Nusantara IV Regional II Medan.
