Abstract

Educational planning is a crucial element that determines the success of educational systems in facing global dynamics and technological disruption. This study aims to synthesize the concept of educational planning from an Islamic perspective (at-takhthith) with modern planning models and analyze its challenges in the era of the Independent Curriculum (Kurikulum Merdeka) and digitalization. Using a qualitative approach with a library research method, data were analyzed inductively and thematically from various scientific literatures ranging from 2020 to 2025. The results indicate that planning in Islam is a theological imperative aimed at forming holistic individuals through the integration of faith (IMTAQ) and science-technology (IPTEK). Managerially, planning functions as a directional guide, a tool for efficiency, and a standard for supervision. This study concludes that a participatory or mixed planning model is the most ideal for balancing national macro-policies with school micro-autonomy. However, field implementation still faces structural challenges, particularly in 3-T areas regarding limited digital infrastructure and teacher competency readiness. The research recommends the need to strengthen school principals' digital leadership and the implementation of Data-Based Planning (PBD) to enhance accountability and sustainable educational quality

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to explore the meaning of the Sumbanese traditional house, not just as a dwelling, but as a cosmological symbol connecting the human world with the ancestors. The pillars are crucial elements that support the structure and serve as the center of ritual orientation. Therefore, the symbolic, structural function, and philosophical value of the pillars (parona) in the traditional house in Manola Village, South Wewewa District, Southwest Sumba Regency are examined. The research method used was qualitative with a descriptive ethnographic approach. Data were collected through field observations, architectural documentation, and in-depth interviews with traditional leaders (rato) and local craftsmen in Manola Village. The analysis focused on identifying the four main pillars (kambaniru) that play distinct roles in the spatial structure of Wewewa culture. The research results show that the exploration of the pillars of the traditional houses of Manola Village reveals a strict division of functions between masculine and feminine aspects, as well as sacred and profane. Structurally, the use of selected local wood materials demonstrates local wisdom in earthquake disaster mitigation. Symbolically, the pillars represent the vertical relationship with the creator (Maroppo-Marapu) and the horizontal relationship between clans. This study concludes that preserving the architectural details of the pillars in Manola Village is crucial in an effort to maintain Sumba's cultural identity amidst the flow of building modernization.

Abstract

This study aims to analyse digital public relations management practices in strengthening the image of private schools in Cilacap Regency. The research uses a qualitative approach with a multi-site case study design in three schools, namely Raden Fatah Cimanggu Senior High School, Darussalam Karangpucung Vocational School, and Jenderal Ahmad Yani Karangpucung Senior High School. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews with 12 key informants, participatory observation for two months of digital public relations activities, and content analysis of 150 social media posts. The results showed that the implementation of a multi-platform digital public relations strategy was able to increase the effectiveness of school communication, as indicated by an average engagement rate of 30%, a reach of 6,167 users per week, a positive sentiment of 79%, and a reduction in crisis response time from 36–48 hours to 7–12 hours through the use of the school's official Instagram account. These findings confirm the effectiveness of digital public relations strategies that are in line with the theory of symmetrical two-way communication, and emphasise the importance of strengthening staff digital literacy and developing content based on local values in school public relations management.

Abstract

Islamic educational supervision is a crucial instrument for improving the quality of learning in Islamic institutions, emphasizing the integration of spiritual, moral, and academic aspects. This study analyzes the concept, implementation, and effectiveness of supervision in developing teacher competence and learning management quality using a qualitative, literature-based approach. The review includes the works of Mulyasa, Al-Nahlawi, and al-Abrasy, as well as empirical studies by Zepeda, Glickman, Kim, and Cho. The findings indicate that Islamic educational supervision has unique dimensions such as spiritual development, moral exemplarity, and the reinforcement of tarbiyah values, which are less prominent in conventional models. Systematic academic supervision enhances lesson planning, pedagogical skills, and teacher professionalism. The study proposes a holistic supervision model that integrates Sharia principles, humanistic approaches, and modern techniques, strengthening Islamic institutions through reflective evaluation, consultation, and spiritual guidance, positioning supervision as a process of empowering teachers toward professionalism and moral integrity.

Abstract

This study aims to formulate an appropriate competitive strategy for Wijaya Laundry in Baturaja City through an analysis of internal and external factors and service quality. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques in the form of interviews and direct observation. Sampling was carried out purposively by involving 15 respondents consisting of the owners and customers of Wijaya Laundry. Data analysis was conducted using SWOT analysis to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats, as well as service quality analysis covering the aspects of physical evidence, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. The results showed that Wijaya Laundry had a number of internal weaknesses, including the absence of clear business planning, unorganised financial management, unstructured task distribution, and limited promotional activities. Externally, opportunities were not being optimally utilised, particularly the use of digital technology as a promotional medium. In addition, service quality still needed to be improved, especially in terms of the comfort of business facilities. Based on the SWOT analysis results, the recommended competitive strategy is an intensive strategy in the form of market penetration through increased promotional activities, expansion of digital-based promotional reach, and the provision of customer loyalty programmes to increase competitiveness and maintain business sustainability.
