Abstract

Distance education has become an alternative during the pandemic, from traditional learning, face-to-face with information and technology to help bridge the separation of distance and time between teachers and students to build interaction during the learning process. The purpose of this study was to get an overview of interactions in online teaching in terms of gender. The research was descriptive quantitative. The sampling technique used purposive sampling with 380 students as participants. Research instrument used interaction scale consists of four aspects such as student-student interaction, student-student interaction with content, student-instructor interaction, and student-student interaction with technology. The data analysis technique uses descriptive statistics. The results showed that student interaction was in the moderate category (70.5%). Interaction with technology sub-component shows the least amount in the low category compared to the other sub-components. Based on gender, there are differences in student interactions in online learning between female and male students. Apart from that, the average interaction between female students has a higher average than male students.

Abstract

Queuing is the activity of a group of people or goods in a waiting line to wait for a service. The queueing system can be interpreted as the arrival of customers for a service, waiting to get service, and leaving the system after getting service. This research is applied research using the observation method. This research aims to provide solutions to queuing problems at Agung Auto Service car doorsmer Jl. S.M. Raja No. 3, Rantauprapat, North Sumatra. Data is taken by paying attention to the time of arrival of customers and how many customers can be served. This car doorman applies the First Come, First Served (FCFS) discipline, where the first customer to arrive will get the first service through the queuing process. Therefore, the model that can be used is the multi-channel single-phase model, where there are two or more service facilities flowed by a single queue. From the results of the calculation of the model simulation in POM-QM for Windows, it can be seen that the performance of the service system at the Agung Auto Service car doorsmeer is not optimal because initially there were only 3 service servers, causing queues. Therefore, it is necessary to add up to six service servers to produce optimal service

Abstract

The problem that is often felt by small MSMEs, such as sellers of fresh fruit juice drinks, is the shortage of ingredients which results in a lack of production. This is an obstacle in terms of linear programming models. To maximize production and production yields, there needs to be a method that can be used to increase production yields and reduce the number of raw material constraints on Mauza Jus. This study aims to determine the implementation of the simplkes method in determining the amount of profit in the fruit jur, in order to increase efficiency and optimal results in a system by applying the simplex method in solving optimization problems. By using the simplex method Mauza Jus can increase profits by up to 60%, this happens because Mauza Jus can determine the amount of production per day and does not experience any losses at all. The processing results are done in QM For Windows. In conclusion, Mauza Jus is getting a considerable increase in profits

Abstract

This study was conducted to determine the optimal service with the theory of multi-channel-single phase queues, which is anytime two or more are flowed by a single queue. The research method is a single channel multi-phase method. The variables seen are level of utility, probability, average amount, time. The data used for queuing system analysis is the average number of arrivals per hour and the average number of services per hour. Data collection was based on direct observation at SSFC. The results of this study showed that SS Freis Chicken had to increase its chicken stock. So that the service at SSFC is optimal for customers. Queuing is an unavoidable phenomenon today, manufacturing and service companies are required to be able to reduce queues in providing services to customers. The addition of cashiers is carried out in phase 1, namely the payment stage to 2 people so that it can reduce the average customer waiting in the queue which was originally 10 queues to 0 queues and reduce the average time of customers waiting in the queue which was originally 19.33 minutes / person to 1,002 minutes / person. The addition of cashiers can make the performance of the queuing system more optimal.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze language acquisition in children, obtained directly and supported by several factors, such as internal factors from both parents. The initial language acquisition in children is found and obtained from their mother. The research method used is qualitative descriptive. The data collection techniques employed are observation and interviews. The research subject is a five-year-old male child. The results of the study indicate that the initial language acquisition in a five-year-old child is obtained through interactions with their mother. At this age, the child can utter several words and sentences commonly used in their communication with family and friends. However, the language proficiency of the five-year-old is somewhat unclear in terms of the original words and sentences. Interactions in the child's environment influence language proficiency and vocabulary knowledge. The child uses both Indonesian and a mixture of regional languages in daily communication, both at home and at school. The child acquires new knowledge about various words through school, reading books, and watching videos on YouTube.
