Abstract

Human Resources (HR) plays a crucial role in achieving corporate goals, especially in the context of increasingly competitive globalization. Effective HR management is expected to improve organizational performance and maximize company profitability. Employee performance appraisal serves as the main measuring tool in evaluating individual contributions to company goals, as well as determining rewards or consequences for employees. Work motivation is an important factor affecting employee performance, with high motivation potentially increasing productivity and job satisfaction. This research focuses on PT FAP AGRI, Tbk, where a decline in work motivation among Supervisors has been identified, potentially influencing their decision to quit their job. This study aims to provide recommendations for improving work motivation through strategies such as developing reward programs, improving communication, and supervision, as well as optimizing training and technology programs. The research method involved a census of all Supervisors who graduated from the Training Center at PT FAP AGRI, Tbk, with data analysis using descriptive and quantitative methods. The formulation of strategies to increase Supervisor work motivation at PT FAP AGRI, Tbk involves three main stages: 1) Input Stage: Identification and analysis of internal and external factors needed to formulate strategies; 2) Matching Stage: Internal-External (IE) and SWOT analysis based on the results of the Input Stage; and 3) Decision Making Stage: Evaluation of alternative strategies using the Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). The results show that the suggested strategies including the development of reward programs, improved communication, and the use of technology, as well as collaboration with educational institutions and utilization of government support, can significantly improve Supervisors' work motivation and performance. This research provides an important basis for formulating effective HR policies to achieve the company's strategic goals.

Abstract

This paper proffers an expert evaluation of Babur's complex relationships with the diverse tribal communities of the subcontinent in the early years of the Mughal Empire. It shows, through a focus on Babur's governance structures, that he instead navigated a politically partitioned landscape characterized by alliances between tribal leaders and the consolidating of his own power. His diplomacy and military acumen were not tactical exercises but part of his state-building efforts - a delicate balance between autonomy to tribal people and the need for centralized authority. The paper discusses that Babur's acknowledgment of local power structures and imperial ambitions really laid down the ground for the early stability of the Mughal Empire. His strategic engagement with tribal leaders not only stabilized his reign but also set the basis for administrative reforms and innovations developed by his successors. This study underlines Babur's political acumen, reminding the reader that his dealings with tribal elements played a central role in forging the early Mughal state. His policies of strategic balancing of tribal autonomy with imperial goals proved pivotal in navigating the fractured landscape of the subcontinent. The analysis here gives a nuanced view of how, during his reign, he uniquely presented state formation in such a way that led to the long influence and eventual consolidation of the Mughal Empire, one of South Asia's most powerful and enduring empires.

Abstract

This study aims to provide evidence of the relationship between the use of QRIS, Islamic financial literacy, Islamic financial inclusion and promotion on increasing the income of halal MSME actors in Lhokseumawe City. The population in this study is the community of halal MSME actors in the city of Lhokseumawe. The sampling technique used in this study is using the Slovin Formula method so that a sample of 96 Halal MSME actors is obtained. This research is a quantitative research using secondary data and primary data collected by questionnaire or questionnaire techniques. The questionnaire was analyzed using quantitative descriptive statistical analysis. with a significanty rate of 5%. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the research data was declared to be normally distributed, free from deviations from classical assumptions (multicollinearity, autocorrelation, heteroscedasticity). The test results stated that the independent variables (QRIS, Sharia Financial Literacy, Sharia Financial Inclusion and promotion) were able to explain the bound variable (Halal MSME Income) by 40.07%. Partially, the QRIS variable does not have a significant influence on the income of halal MSME actors, while Sharia Financial Literacy, Sharia Financial Inclusion and promotion have a partial effect on the income of Halal MSME actors. Which means that the higher the level of Sharia Financial Inclusion, the understanding of Sharia Finance in Halal MSME Actors, the more likely they are to get an increased income and become part of the main pillar of economic development policies which are very important to alleviate poverty, encourage sustainable economic growth.

Abstract

Improving the economy and investment in Aceh province must be adjusted to the potential and social structure. Investments that are in line with the social structure and economic capacity of the local community can sustain Aceh's economic growth. The investment development process must be responded to quickly by the government, which has legal authority to implement various types of programs. One strategy to reduce Aceh's poverty rate is to maximize Aceh-Owned Enterprises (Badan Usaha Milik Aceh - BUMA), a business holding company with the Aceh government owning the majority (100%) of its capital and shares. The holding company named PT. Pembangunan Aceh (PEMA) aims to improve development, the economy, and Aceh's locally generated revenue. For this reason, a potential business analysis strategy is needed to be developed by PEMA in compliance with Aceh Qanun No. 5 of 2019 concerning Capital Participation of the Aceh Government in Aceh-Owned Enterprises (BUMA) and the format or scheme of capital participation or business scheme that is feasible to develop company profit and the sustainability of PEMA for the future. This study uses a qualitative method with a descriptive phenomenological approach through in-depth interviews and observations of informants on the PEMA business unit development strategy, namely commissioners and directors, academics, and the Aceh Investment Promotion Agency and One Stop Services. The Business Model Canvas (BMC) model and SWOT analysis are used in the data analysis process. This study found that the PEMA agro-industry sector business unit model has great potential to be developed with the building of a biodiesel factory. Additionally, this business unit empowers the welfare of Acehnese oil palm farmers.
