Abstract

B.IndonesiaPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui penerapan safety risk management pada Unit Perawatan Pesawat Udara khususnya di Rotary Wing Hangar, Engine-Propeller Workshop dan Engineering. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu dengan menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan Hazard Identification, Risk Assesment and Mitigation sebagai bentuk dari pengolahan data dan penilaian pada fasilitas dan aktifitas sehingga dapat dilakukan mitigasi untuk menurunkan tingkat risiko bahaya yang tinggi pada suatu pekerjaan menjadi acceptable. Dari hasil penelitian, terdapat aktifitas yang teridentifikasi pada tingkat intolerable, tolerable, acceptable after review sehingga perlu dilakukan mitigasi pada pekerjaan tersebut. Kesimpulan pada penelitian ini yaitu terdapat beberapa risiko bahaya yang memiliki nilai tinggi sehingga harus dilakukan pengendalian untuk menurunkan risiko dari bahaya pada pekerjaan tersebut. Saran yang dianjurkan yaitu perlunya dilakukan evaluasi safety management system pada Unit Perawatan Pesawat Udara.B.EnglishThis study aims to determine the application of safety risk management in the Aircraft Maintenance Unit, especially in the Rotary Wing Hangar, Engine-Propeller Workshop and Engineering. The method used in this research is to use qualitative analysis and Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment and Mitigation as a form of data processing and assessment of facilities and activities so that mitigation can be carried out to reduce the high level of hazard risk on a job to be acceptable. From the results of the study, there are activities identified at the level of intolerable, tolerable, acceptable after review so that mitigation needs to be done on the work. The conclusion of this research is that there are several hazards that have a high value so that control must be carried out to reduce the risk of hazards in the work. The recommended advice is the need to evaluate the safety management system in the Aircraft Maintenance Unit.

Abstract

The objective of research to know and inspect the task and function of Apron Movement Control (AMC) at Soekarno Hatta International Airport toword Competence at Airport Operation Gradate of Indonesia Civil Aviation Institute (ICAI). The method used is description analysis, with samples valve 86 respondents, through the questioner data collection techniques, the results of research that is in general the implementation at task and function of AMC units are less accordance with the Standard Operating Procedures either in terms of flight security and safety on the air side, shill infraction, that is in case disposition GSE exist shill in correct. However the result of this study can be improved that are socialiszation on periodic about regulation, SOP and also controlling and law inforcement.

Abstract

RANI KHOIRUN NISA, THE STUDY OF EQUIPMENT PARKING AREA (EPA) MARKING ALLOCATION IN APRON AT LOMBOK INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT, Final Project Diploma III Airport Operation X, Indonesia Civil Aviation Institute, August 2017. As the increasing of air transport development in Lombok International Airport, many Airlines make a new route to Lombok in order to improve services to the flight operators and service users to provide safety and comfort. Marking available at the airport must be in accordance regulations of Keputusan Direktur Perhubungan Udara No. KP 39 Tahun 2015, to create and maintain the discipline of vehicle traffic to be smooth and conducive. Lombok International Airport has no parking area for Ground Support Equipment (GSE) in apron which causes the placement of GSE disorderly and not in the certain area which is placed in the service road. In some cases, this placement interferes with disrupting the traffic flow of vehicles in apron. By looking at the condition, Equipment Parking Area (EPA) marking is made to place the GSE equipment in apron. To overcome the problems, the writer proposed to make EPA in apron by adding EPA marking in each parking stand. By the existence of EPA, hopefully all GSE parked in EPA provide safety operation of flight in air side area. Also, airside area must be more monitored and the discipline is increasing.

Abstract

Due to the increasing requirements of aviation safety standards demanded by the international aviation world and in line with the process of disseminating civil aviation safety regulations as well as Civil Aviation Safety Regulations (CASR) 139 on Aerodrome, it is mandatory for each airport to complete aviation safety facilities, Runway End Safety Area (RESA) at airports in Indonesia, given the technical classification of each airport as well as the area around the airport which is generally very limited. Adisutjipto International Airport is close to the Boko mountains, so when the weather is bad, visibility in the area becomes low, from this natural condition, space is required as a safety area with certain construction, in case of an emergency condition capable of being burdened by the body aircraft or firefighting and fire-fighting vehicles (PKP-PK). So RESA is considered important to be provided at Adisutjipto International Airport Yogyakarta, considering several accidents have occurred at the airport. In addition to improving safety operations, RESA manufacturing is also to meet the aviation safety standards demanded by the international aviation world. As far as it can be done, RESA should be prepared or built in such a way as to reduce the risk of damage to aircraft, increase airplane retarding power, and smooth the movement of PKP-PK vehicles.

Abstract

Along with the increasing number of service users of airport service providers are required to be able to maintain the quality of flight service, one of which is the service on increasing the capacity of the waiting room at the airport. It may lead to complaints from service users. The desired service is the creation of a waiting room capacity capable of accommodating the number of passengers departing during peak hours, where according to the applicable provisions, that the area of passengers during peak hours is 1.4 m2 Domestic) and 1.7 m2 (International) if the area of waiting room in The airport meets the area of the room, it can overcome the accumulation of the number of passengers during peak hours and can improve the service quality of service users in terms of service in the waiting room in accordance with the desired needs

Abstract

The removal of HC-E4N-3G type Hartzell propellers at the King Air 200 aircraft own Balai Besar Kalibrasi Fasilitas Penerbangan (BBKFP) is carried out on scheduled and unscheduled maintenance. When removal and installation this propellers using available tools, technicians often have difficulty because requiring large power and unsafe conditions when withdrawing the propeller beta system due to the design of the tool, such need withdrawing tool modifications of HC- E4N-3G type hartzell propeller beta system. Theories relating to modification of this tool include maintenance, hartzell propeller type HC-E4N-3G Series, material selection, load, circle shape, torque, stress, security factor and thread theory. The design of this tool modification is divided into several parts such as puller rod, threaded pressing rod, threaded retaining body, rotating arm and pressing threaded cylinder. Based on the calculation and analysis process all parts of the withdrawing tool are made from S45C material and tool modification with dimensions of all parts according to the calculation and analysis process successfully able to draw HC- E4N-3G type hartzell propeller beta system beta Hartzell propeller

Abstract

The purpose of research to known and analysed the effect of learning motivation and education infrastructure individually as well as collectively equal to the learning achievement of STPI cadets. The method used is quantitative method, with samples value 74 respondents from a population of 284 cadets, through the questionnaire data collection techniques. Then analyzed test of T and F, the correlation coefficient, determination, regression, path analysis. Research results correlation motivation toward learning achievement expressed strong cadets at 0.671 and the contribution value of 31.6%. Correlation means education infrastructure on the learning achievement of cadets at 0.639 expressed strong with contribution value of 25.8%. The Effect of learning motivation and education infrastructure jointly to the learning achievement of cadets at 0.758 have expressed strong with contribution value of 57.4% while the remaining 42.6% influenced by other factors. In outline the results of this study can be concluded that the learning achievement of STPI cadets be improved through increased motivation to learn and education infrastructure

Abstract

To support the operation of electricity facilities in STPI Curug in general and especially in the lab of course TLB that require the availability of various facilities and equipment. In addition to basic facilities, there are also supporting facilities such as lighting facilities, visual aid and AGL, vehicle parking facilities, maintenance facilities in general and other facilities that directly or indirectly support STPI-Curug Airport Electricity Engineering activities. This qualitative research involves analysis of electrical power supply system in terms of quantity which includes the capacity of electric power supply prepared, as well as the availability aspect of electrical power supply from PLN is 630VA and the existing capacities is 80KVA while the standby genset capacities needed is 150KVA from the existing capacities this time is 80KVA, electrical power system analysis seen from the aspect of voltage and frequency stability, and plan to reinstall the power supply in the environment STPI laboratories including replacement of Genset Power Cable, Distribution Panels and other fittings. With the results of this study, it is useful to improve the supply of electrical power supply in STPI Curug, improve service to all electric users in STPI Curug, and encourage and improve the smoothness of lecture and laboratory activities at STPI Curug

Abstract

The research purpose is to know the using of audiovisual media and motivation toward diploma 3 cadets’ achievement of MTU 3, PLLU 60 B, PKPPK, PA 11, AND TLB 24 in PAI subject at STPI. There are six questions research such as 1) how the using of audiovisual media is, 2) how the cadets’ motivation is, 3) how the cadets’ achievement is, 4) are there any impacts of the audiovisual utilization toward the cadets’ achievement in the PAI subject, 5) are there any impacts of the cadets’ motivation toward the cadets’ achievement, and 6) are there any impacts of the audiovisual utilization and motivation toward the cadets’ achievement in the PAI subject. This research is quantitative method. To collect the data, the researcher used questionnaire and documentation. 105 cadets became the research population and 53 cadets as the sample. The research result showed that 1) the using of audiovisual media was high categorization, 64.15%; 2) cadets’ motivation was high categorization, 73.58%; 3) cadets’ achievement was high categorization, 67.92%; 4) there were no impact in using audiovisual media toward the cadets’ achievement in PAI subject. The result showed rh < rt (0.256 rt (0.499 > 0.361); 6) there were any impact of using audiovisual media and motivation toward the cadets’ achievement in PAI subject. The result showed rh > rt (0.532 > 0.361). Using the F-test 5% significance level, the researcher obtained 10.071 as Fh and 3.18 as Ft. So, it can be concluded that Fh > Ft (10.071 > 3.18). It meant that linear regression was significant

Abstract

Occurring problems in runway 11-29 at Husein Sastranegara Bandung is kind of surface pavement, those problems happen because of continuous usage on it’s surface, pavement durability, and factor of weather, so that flexible pavement currently fragile and easy to get damaged. Evaluations regarding the damage of runway pavement surface using Pavement Condition Index (PCI) and doing action such fixing planning of the evaluation results, so that the sample of the damage overall can be resumed. From the calculation done, it can be conclude that damage found in segment 2 is damage Depression crack 3,37 m3, Block Cracking damage 0,02 m3, segment 19 is damage Ravelling crack 9,13 m3, damage Depression crack 8,39 m3, damage to Rutting crack 29,98 m3, segment 98 is damage Longitudinal/Transverse cracking 1,48 m3, Depression crack damage 5,50m 3, damage Patching crack 0,08 m3, damage Rutting crack 1,78 m3, segment 120 is damage Polished Agregate 0,30 m3, Longitudinal/Transverse cracking 0,70 m3, and segment 170 is Rutting crack damage 44,44 m3, Depression crack damage2,61 m3. So it is necessary to re-coat and do research of pavement layer structure and ground so as to meet CBR/carrying capacity and optimize the implementation of coating
