Abstract

Most of the results of correlation analysis between variables are not equipped with visualization, so it is deemed necessary to explain how best to visualize the results of correlation analysis, especially for numerical variables. In this case, the best way to present correlations between numerical variables is a scatter diagram. If the points on the diagram are closer to the straight line, the higher the correlation coefficient, meaning that the degree of correlation is getting stronger. In this case, the positive correlation is indicated by the line from the lower left to the upper right. This visualization helps clarify the reader's understanding of the results of the correlation analysis, as well as being a valuable lesson for their similar research projects. Keywords: positive correlation; correlation coefficient; visualization; scatter diagram

Abstract

EDITORIAL We need to inform you again that the Aloha International Journal of Multidisciplinary Advancement (AIJMU) has a mission to publish research results and ideas from various disciplines of science and technology. In this editorial, we constantly invite researchers and academics around the world to share their best papers in this journal. In April 2021, we invite authors to publish scientific papers which are a form of document study. In this case, we can accept articles from document studies in short form such as book reviews, but we also look forward to the presence of articles and long forms, such as library research. Book review is a type of short paper (usually contains 1000 to 200 words), which contains a review of a book that the author considers interesting or important. In addition to the title, author and affiliation, this article consists of at least 4 important parts, namely an introduction, a review (a summary of the book's contents, strengths, weaknesses and suggestions if any), conclusions and references. However, authors may write in a different systematics as long as they do not go outside the principles of writing a book review. Meanwhile, library research is one type of qualitative research that emphasizes data sources in the form of documents, although it can be strengthened by other data sources, for example the results of interviews. This type of paper is usually written in a large number of words, for example 4000 to 10000 words, depending on the rules of the journal. There are three main types of literature research: historical studies, biographical studies and document studies. We hope that articles based on document studies will further enrich the database of scientific papers in this journal, which in turn can contribute to the development and advancement of science and technology.

Abstract

Fourth Industrial REvolution offers various technological innovations that contribute significant advantages to the university. The development of the web app voting system (WAVS) in Eastern Visayas State University - Tanauan Campus transformed the voting experience of university students. The study aimed to determine the extent of usability of the WAVS in the Supreme Student Government election. A total of 203 students (voters) served as the respondents using a convenient sampling technique. A descriptive quantitative research design was employed to present the respondents’ views and opinions. The study revealed the system evaluation to be “Excellent” in all factors of usability components on effectiveness (3.50), efficiency (3.43), and user satisfaction (3.42) with a grand mean of 3.45. The WAVS exceeded the users’ requirements on the context of use principles allowing them to perform their tasks efficiently and effectively. The results of the study present an interesting direction of the system implementation across campuses of the university. Developers should consider the mobility of system connectivity using a secured virtual private network (VPN) of the university. Implement security measures on voter’s identity and network firewall encryption. Finally, developers of the system should always consider the usability principles and user requirements in developing an effective and efficient information system.

Abstract

Local pluralism is a driver of tourism policy, with an emphasis on changing the quality of life. Decentralization gives legitimacy to each region to produce or produce various policies that are in accordance with regional needs, including in the field of tourism. In this regard, each region besides having the potential for tourism that is not the same, also competes to optimize local local potential. Considering the implementation of government affairs in the region, including tourism, requires an appropriate legal foundation, an analysis of the relevant laws and regulations is needed. This study confirms that Bali, Surakarta, and Batu endeavor culture as a form of local pluralism to sustain the local tourism policies. However, the three objects of observation in this study have differences in institutionalizing local pluralism in the tourism policy. Regional Regulations in Bali need to be revised, while conversely, in Surakarta and Batu need to make Regional Regulations on Tourism Based on Local Pluralism. Abstract

Breast milk is the best food for babies. WHO set an exclusive breastfeeding target of at least 50%, but the coverage of exclusive breastfeeding in Indonesia still reaches 32% to 38%. Similarly, in East Java, especially Bangkalan, exclusive breast milk coverage is still at 29.1%. The production of breast milk is influenced by various factors, namely breastfeeding education, early breastfeeding initiation, breastfeeding techniques, stress, and nutrients consumed. There has been no research on oxytocin massage and Jammu Bejja on the production of breast milk or uterine involution. Therefore, there need to be efforts to increase the production of breast milk by giving back massage combined with consuming supplement intake by drinking Jamu Bejja Madura. Methods used observational analytics with a cross-sectional approach, to obtain modeling, followed by the preparation of modules previously conducted field surveys and expert consultation. The population consisted of postpartum mothers in Arosbaya, Klampis, Blega. Samples were taken as many as 130 postpartum mothers. Variables were oxytocin massage, herbal medicine, breast milk production, and uterine involution. Data collection using questionnaires and analyzed using Partial Least Square. The results showed that oxytocin massage and herbal medicine had an effect of 84.3% on the production of breast milk and 83.7% on uterine involution. It can be concluded that oxytocin massage affects the production of breast milk and uterine involution, Jammu bejja affects uteri involution. It is expected that postpartum mothers get the services of oxytocin massage and herbal medicine to increase the production of breast milk and involution uteri.
