Abstract

The research entitled "Analysis of Determination of Credit Scores for Promotion of Functional Positions for SMAN / Vocational Teachers at the Education Office of West Java Province" in general this research is to find out and obtain an overview of the determination of credit scores and promotions / teacher positions in the Education Office of West Java Province. The method used in this research is descriptive using a qualitative approach, data collection techniques with interviews, observations, and documentation studies. The results showed that many teachers did not meet the requirements in following the determination of credit scores. The credit score is a unit of value for each item of activity and/or the accumulated value of the items of activity that must be achieved by a teacher in the context of fostering a career of rank and position. In accordance with the Joint Regulation of the Minister of National Education and the Head of the State Civil Service Agency Number 03/V/PB/2010 Number 14 of 2010 the official authorized to propose the determination of the credit score submits the proposal for determining the credit score to the official authorized to determine the credit score through the secretariat of the assessment team. For the flow in applying for the determination of the teacher credit score, the teacher first uploads the file on the OPAK (Online Determination of Credit Score) application, then the original file is sent to the KCD (Office Branch Office), then to the Provincial Education Office which is managed by the Development Section. In 2018 the December period that passed only 205 (20.9%) experienced an increase in 2019 the June period which passed 952 (69.1%) while in 2020 the June period decreased again to 488 (54.6%). At the 2020 credit score determination session, there was a decrease in teachers who submitted a trial from 2019 because there was no appeal period and the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic was one of the inhibiting factors.

Abstract

'Lentera Tari' is one of the UKM (Student Activity Units) which is part of the 'Lentera Seni Performing' and is under the management of the Student Association (Hima) of Performing Arts Education FKIP, Lambung Mangkurat University. UKM which is owned by the Performing Arts Education Study Program FKIP ULM was formed as an effort to develop the potential of student specialization. The research method used is qualitative to capture existing phenomena and describe them concretely. This SME development system uses a governance approach from George R. Terry, who suggests the basic function of governance as a dynamic process which includes planning, organizing, actuating, monitoring or evaluation functions. In the management of 'Lentera Tari', the results obtained include: 1) the planning process in the weekly, semi-annual and incidental coaching agenda; 2) in organizing in the form of division of jobdesk fields and responsibilities of each; 3) in the process of movement in the form of the travel process of all members of the 'Lentera Tari' in coaching activities, coordination of performances and all work programs that have been planned and determined together; 4) at the monitoring stage is through evaluation for the members of the 'Lentera Tari' after each routine training material is finished, both knowledge of the text and context, with the aim of knowing the absorption of coaching, then evaluating to discuss the obstacles encountered during the coaching process, in order to strive for activities in accordance with predetermined plan.

Abstract

This research aims to improve students' skills in calculating the volume of cubes and blocks through the use of spatial construction media at Blungbang elementary school. The research method used is classroom action research with a quantitative approach. The research subjects were 30 grade 6 students at Blungbang elementary school. Collecting primary and secondary data using observation, testing, and documentation methods. Observations were carried out to observe students' ability to calculate the volume of cubes and blocks, while tests were used to measure students' reading abilities, and documentation was used to see students' activity during reading lessons. Data analysis was carried out using qualitative and quantitative approaches. The results of the research show that the level of students' ability to calculate the volume of cubes and blocks for class 6 Blungbang elementary school before the classroom action research was carried out was still low. However, after two learning cycles using spatial media, there was a significant improvement. In the first cycle, there was an increase of 44.44% with an average value of 62.44%, and in the second cycle, it reached 100% with an average value of 78.55. The use of spatial construction media in class 6 has proven to be very influential in improving students' ability to determine the volume of cubes and blocks. So it can be concluded that the application of geometric learning media in teaching the concept of volume of cubes and blocks in grade 6 can produce a significant increase in student learning outcomes.

Abstract

The development of the times means that human education and thinking continues to change and develop dynamically. This article aims to determine the importance of 21st century teacher pedagogy in facing the Alpha generation. The gap in the learning process in the classroom occurs because teachers and students have different learning periods, so the pedagogical competence of teachers in the 21st century and the characteristics of the Alpha generation are important to understand. This study method is a literature study by examining 15 scientific articles published in various national journals and analyzed according to the pedagogical study theme. The problem that often occurs is the gap in the delivery of teaching material in the classroom due to the teacher's lack of understanding of the characteristics of students. Students have now entered the Alpha generation, where the characteristics of students are very different from those of teachers, so teachers need to improve their pedagogical abilities and competencies by knowing the characteristics of the Alpha generation. It is hoped that the results of this study will allow teachers to develop pedagogical competence, especially in dealing with the Alpha generation, so that learning in the classroom occurs optimally and educational goals can be achieved

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the distribution of research articles with the theme of school principal leadership in realizing an independent learning curriculum in junior high schools. VosViewer is used as an analysis tool in research and uses a bibliometric approach. Article references were obtained from Google Scholar with the support of the publish or perish program, and 998 articles were found that were considered relevant to the related topic. The research period used for documents indexed by Google Scholar is from 2019 to 2024. The research results are focused on finding and analyzing topics that are related to principal leadership and other data analysis. Keywords regarding principal leadership in junior high schools are associated with 4 clusters with a total of 189 links and 1754 total link strengths. The results of the analysis of the development of publications in the 2019–2024 period show that research on the theme of kiai decision-making in Islamic boarding schools has been studied quite a lot by researchers on principal leadership and freedom to learn. The highest number of publications in 2023 will be 14 articles, and the least in 2024 will be 6 articles. This topic is an interesting thing to continue to be researched by future researchers. This is due to the graph of the increase in this theme every year, which indicates that research topics relating to principal leadership and freedom of learning are increasingly of interest to researchers. This will have a significant impact and be very important for the future development of the school.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the level of effectiveness of training in the 4th batch of teacher mobilizer program organized by the West Java Teacher Mobilizer Center (BBGP). Measurement of the effectiveness of education and training uses the Kirkpatrick evaluation model, with 4 levels, namely: level 1 (reaction), level 2 (learning), level 3 (behavior), and level 4 (result). The research method used in this study is a descriptive research method with a qualitative approach. Data collection techniques through interviews and documentation studies. Then checking the validity of the data is done by triangulation of techniques and sources. The results showed that the Implementation of Training for Prospective Teacher Movers Batch 4 Based on the Kirkpatrick Evaluation Model at the West Java Center for Teacher Movers (BBGP) at levels 1 and 2 was considered effective but at levels 3 and 4 it was not considered effective.

Abstract

Instructional leadership is a leadership model oriented towards the process and outcomes of student learning through empowering teachers professionally. This research aims to describe the role of instructional leadership played by the school principal and the teaching performance of teachers at Nurul Huda Elementary School, Setu District, Bekasi Regency. Through a qualitative approach involving 4 respondents, this study focuses on analyzing the implementation of instructional leadership by the school principal towards the teaching performance of teachers in the school. The results of this research describe the positive school climate and enforcement of rules also as a focus of the school principal's instructional leadership. However, challenges arise in the form of limited learning time allocation, which restricts teachers' ability to plan learning deeply. In this context, strong instructional leadership can be a crucial factor in improving teaching performance and learning quality. Therefore, school principals can take guidance from instructional leadership models emphasizing academic activities and student learning outcomes through optimal teacher empowerment

Abstract

This research is entitled "Analysis of Employee Job Satisfaction at the Transformation of the West Java Provincial Teacher Training Center". This study aims to determine employee job satisfaction at the transformation of the West Java Provincial Teacher Training Center, find out the factors that affect employee job satisfaction at the West Java Provincial Teacher Training Center, and formulate strategies to increase employee job satisfaction at the West Java Provincial Teacher Training Center. The method used is a qualitative method with a case study approach. The determination of respondents using snowball sampling technique. The results of this study indicate that employee job satisfaction is felt from the dimensions of the job itself, salary, supervision, coworkers, and working conditions. When referring to the dimensions put forward by Fred Luthans related to the job itself, employees get job satisfaction, but when referring to the main tasks and functions of each employee's job, employees have not received job satisfaction. In addition, from the promotion dimension, employees also have not received job satisfaction. Employee job satisfaction is influenced by internal and external factors. In order to increase job satisfaction, it is necessary to formulate strategies to increase job satisfaction

Abstract

Human resource management (HRM) is an important thing in the implementation of education. Education can be said to be of quality or quality with support from human resources. Therefore, every educational institution must pay attention to human resources and manage them well, in order to create high-quality education. Therefore, research was conducted at Junior High School 5 Cimahi to find out the extent of HRM being carried out at the school in order to see the quality and quality of the HR empowerment being carried out. Data collection techniques were carried out by direct interviews with the school principal. Career development in human resource management at Junior High School 5 Cimahi is structured and implemented in accordance with the needs of each human resource in the school. Career development of an educator is very influential in increasing professionalism as an educator and education staff

Abstract

The Merdeka Curriculum is one of the efforts to answer the problems faced in Indonesian education. After the 2019 Covid Pandemic, there were many obstacles that made the process of receiving educational knowledge in schools not optimally accepted by students. This also affects the daily character of students, both at school and outside of school. The character of post-pandemic students seems not ready to accept learning as usual, therefore an adaptation is needed in the form of an approach for students so that they are ready to study at school again. This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research method that will be used is descriptive qualitative. The Pancasila Student Profile is part of the Merdeka Curriculum, various ways and approaches are applied by schools so that students become students with the character of the Pancasila Profile. One effort to achieve this is through extracurricullar programs. The extracurricullar program at junior high school 51 Bandung runs effectively for students. In addition, the character formation of the Pancasila Student Profile at junior high school 51 Bandung has also been going well where students' character is formed through the programs provided by the school. Based on the results of effectiveness analysis extracurricular program for building Pancasila Student Profile In junior high school 51 Bandung, it was found that Kijarpara as an extracurricular was successful in shaping the character of students, due to changes in students' character before and after attending Kijarpara. This achievement was also supported by various other related aspects, when analyzed and examined, turned out to be quite complex.
