TARBAWY: Indonesian Journal of Islamic Education aims at promoting research in the broad field of Islamic education with particular respect to Indonesia, but not limited to authorship or topical coverage within the region. It is expected to be the medium for the exchange of ideas, knowledge, information, and technology among experts and practitioners of Islamic education. The editorial contents and elements that comprise the journal include: Theoretical articles Empirical studies Practice-oriented papers Case studies Review of papers, books, and resources. As far as the criteria for evaluating and accepting submissions is concerned, a rigorous review process will be used. Submitted papers will, prior to the formal review, be screened so as to ensure their suitability and adequacy to the journal. In addition, an initial quality control will be performed, so as to ensure matters such as language, style of references and others, comply with the journal´s style.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to know the management of Islamic religious education in full day school Islamic Junior High School Salman Al-Farisi Bandung starting from planning, implementation, and results and advantages and weaknesses of PAI in full-day school program. The research conducted using qualitative approach descriptive method. To obtain research data, researchers used the method of observation, interview, and documentation. The results showed that: (1) Planning of Islamic education expanded into subjects tilāwati, taḥfiż, matrikulasi, and hours wali kelas for the seven sunnah habituation. Basic competencies are mapped into aspects of leadership and green education. (2) The implementation of Islamic education is carried out by teachers of PAI, other teacher and special teachers integrated in leadership, green education and IMTAQ (3) The result of Islamic education is evidenced by the special report of the application of Islamic education (4) with educational background become weakness of SAF Islamic Junior High School full day. The integration of the concept of leadership, green education in PAI as well as the habituation of seven sunnah became the excellence of SMP SAF Islamic full day school to achieve khalīfatullāh fī al-Arḍi the rahmatan lil'ālamīn ".Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengelolaan pendidikan agama Islam di Islamic full day school SMP Salman Al-Farisi Bandung. Penelitian yang dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Untuk memperoleh data penelitian, peneliti menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: (1) Perencanaan pendidikan agama Islam diperluas ke dalam mata pelajaran tilawati, taḥfiż, matrikulasi, serta jam walikelas untuk pembiasaan seven sunnah. Kompetensi dasar dipetakan ke dalam aspek leadership dan green education. (2) Pelaksanaan pendidikan agama Islam dilaksanakan oleh guru PAI, guru mapel lain dan guru khusus yang terintegrasi dalam leadership, green education dan IMTAQ (3) Hasil pendidikan agama Islam dibuktikan dengan laporan khusus aplikasi pendidikan agama Islam (4) Guru PAI yang tidak sesuai dengan latar belakang pendidikan menjadi kelemahan SMP SAF Islamic full day school. Pengintegrasian konsep leadership, green education dalam PAI serta pembiasaan seven sunnah menjadi keunggulan SMP SAF Islamic full day school untuk mencapai khalīfatullāh fīl Arḍi yang rahmatan lil'ālamīn". Kata Kunci: Islamic Full Day School, Pendidikan Agama Islam, Pengelolaan.

Abstract

The research discusses tolerance education through the teaching and learning of Kema'arifan (wisdom) at SMA (Senior High School) Ma'arif Bandung. In contrast to other studies, this research will be more focused on discussing the process of inculcating tolerance values in schools with the background of Nahdatul Ulama (NU). The research will describe how teachers convey tolerance values through classroom teaching and learning. The research employed qualitative method with data collection techniques of interview, observation, and documentary study. The results show that Kema'arifan instruction can provide deeper knowledge about Islam, aswaja, and other groups. In the teaching and learning process, teachers convey the values of tolerance through lecture, and question- answer methods. Penelitian ini membahas tentang pendidikan toleransi melalui pembelajaran mata pelajaran Kema’arifan di SMA Ma’arif Bandung.Berbeda dengan penelitian yang lain, penelitian ini akan lebih membahas tentang suatu proses penanaman nilai toleransi di sekolah yang berlatar belakang organisasi Nahdatul Ulama (NU). Penelitian ini akan menguraikan bagaimana cara guru dalam menyampaikan nilai-nilai toleransi melalui suatu proses pembelajaran di kelas. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan studi dokumen. Penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran Kema’arifan mampu memberikan pengetahuan secara lebih mendalam tentang Islam, aswaja, serta golongan-golongan yang lainnya. Dalam proses pembelajaran, guru menyampaikan nilai-nilai toleransi melalui metode ceramah dan tanya jawab.

Abstract

Abstact. This article examines motivating strategies in learning Tahfizh Al-Qur’an. The question in this study is what is the motivating strategies in learning Tahfizh Al-Qur’an applied at the Qur’an-Hadith School and the Integrated Islamic Boarding School Dar al-Masaleh Foundation, Jambi City. This type of research is qualitative research. Data is collected through participant observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation. To check the validity of the data, it is done by extending the participation, observation, and trigulation. The results of this study reveal that the strategy of motivation and learning tahfizh Al-Qur’an as follows: a) At first, arrange what you want to remember, b) Improve good communication between teachers and parents of students, c) Do not concentrate too much on memory material, d) Give prizes / sanctions, e) Give memorization targets, f) Create a pleasant atmosphere, and g) Hold student performances or take part in competitions. The supporting factors in learning Tahfizh Al-Qur’an are the motivation of the teacher and parents, conducive classroom atmosphere, the awareness of the students themselves and the good relationship between the teacher of tahfizh, parents and students. Otherwise, it will become obstacles.Abstrak. Artikel ini mengkaji strategi pemotivasian dalam pembelajaran Tahfizh Al-Qur’an. Pertanyaan dalam penelitian ini adalah bagaimana strategi pemotivasian dalam Pembelajaran Tahfizh Al-Qur’an  di Sekolah Qur’an Hadits dan Sains Yayasan   pesantren Terpadu Dar al-Masaleh Kota Jambi. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian kualitatif. Pengumpulan data melalui metode observasi partisipan, wawancara mendalam, dan dokumentasi. Untuk mengecek keabsahan data, dilakukan dengan melakukan perpanjangan keikutsertaan, pengamatan, dan trigulasi. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa strategi motivasi dan pembelajaran tahfizh Al-Qur’an sebagai berikut: a) Mengatur terlebih dahulu apa yang hendak diingat, b) Memperbaiki komunikasi yang baik antara guru dan orang tua siswa, c) Jangan memusatkan terlalu banyak bahan ingatan, d) Memberikan hadiah/sanksi, e) Memberikan target hafalan, f) Menciptakan suasana yang menyenangkan, g) Mengadakan pentas santri/siswa atau mengikuti kompetisi. Adapun faktor pendukung dalam pembelajaran Tahfizh Al-Qur’an adalah motivasi dari guru dan orang tua, suasana kelas yang kondusif, adanya kesadaran dari diri siswa dan adanya hubungan baik antara guru tahfizh, orang tua dan siswa. Jika sebaliknya maka akan menjadi faktor penghambat.

Abstract

Abstract. The religiosity of students on campus tends to decrease during their education on campus because of the secularization of knowledge on campus. Thus, the role of the campus is very important in increasing student’s religiosity. The religiosity of students can be influenced by the campus by developing religious courses such as Islamic Religious Education and also through scientific courses that are widely studied in religious contexts. The problem is the extent to which the ability of scientific lecturers to study religious knowledge in the context of science which is taught in the course. This research uses narrative and explanatory analysis. The result of this research is that there is no curriculum that has been studied in detail and comprehensively in public universities in the world so that religiosity becomes the core basis for the preparation.Abstrak. Religiositas mahasiswa di kampus cenderung mengalami penurunan selama menjalani pendidikan di kampus karena sekulerisasi keilmuan yang diajrkan di kampus. Peran kampus dengan demikian sangat penting dalam meningkatkan religiositas mahasiswa. Religisositas mahasiswa bisa dipengaruhi oleh kampus dengan cara mengembangkan mata kuliah keagamaan seperti Pendidikan Agama Islam dan juga bisa melalui mata kuliah keilmuan yang banyak mengkaji keilmuan itu dalam konteks keagamaan. Problermnya adalah sejauhmana kemampuan dosen dalam mengkaji ilmu agama dalam konteks keilmuan yang diajarkannya dalam mata kuliah. Penelitian ini menggunakan analisis naratif dan eksplanatori. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa belum ada kurikulum yang dikaji secara detail dan komprehensif pada universitas umum di dunia ini agar religiositas menjadi dasar inti dalam penyusunan tersebut.

Abstract

Abstract. The purpose of this study is to describe and analyze the virtual AMS (Ajengan Masuk Sekolah) program at SMA Negeri 1 Bandung, which includes: program planning; program implementation process; program evaluation and results. This study uses a qualitative approach and descriptive method. Data collection techniques were carried out by means of interviews and documentation studies. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the planning of the AMS program was based on local government and school policies. In this case the school prepares the following things: resource persons, student readiness, time allocation, topics, facilities, methods, and assessments. The process of implementing the AMS program cannot be separated from preliminary activities, core activities and closing activities, all of which have their own basis in accordance with several points of view, either philosophical-theological, psychological, socio-cultural or scientific. The evaluation and results of the AMS program were carried out using 3 forms of assessment, namely: follow-up assessment, journal assessment, and written assessment. The results of the AMS program are very useful for students in changing students’ attitudes for the better. Keywords: Aqidah Education, School Entry Ajengan Program (AMS), Virtual. Abstrak. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mendeskripsikan dan menganalisis program AMS (Ajengan Masuk Sekolah) secara virtual di SMA Negeri 1 Bandung, yang meliputi : perencanaan program; proses pelaksanaan program; evaluasi dan hasil program. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dan metode deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan cara wawancara dan studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa perencanaan program AMS berdasarkan pada kebijakan pemerintah daerah dan sekolah. Dalam hal ini sekolah mempersiapkan hal-hal berikut: narasumber, kesiapan siswa, alokasi waktu, topik, fasilitas, metode, dan penilaian. Proses pelaksanaan program AMS tidak lepas dari kegiatan pendahuluan, kegiatan inti dan kegiatan penutup, yang ketiganya memiliki landasan tersendiri yang sesuai dengan beberapa sudut pandang, baik filosofis-teologis, psikologis, sosio-kultural maupun ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi (IPTEK). Evaluasi dan hasil program AMS dilakukan dengan menggunakan 3 bentuk penilaian yaitu: penilaian tindak lanjut, penilaian jurnal, dan penilaian tertulis. Hasil program AMS ini sangat bermanfaat untuk peserta didik yang dapat mengubah sikap siswa menjadi lebih baik lagi.  Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Aqidah, Program Ajengan Masuk Sekolah (AMS), Virtual.

Abstract

Various education policies have been developed to achieve the national education objective, including the policy of Islamic education management. The research aims to find about the management of education program policies, management of educators and education personnel, management of curriculum and lesson planning, instructional management, infrastructure management, financial management, and assessment system management, especially at Miftahul Khoir Integrated Islamic Senior High School. Using a qualitative-descriptive approach, data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentary studies. Based on the research results, the management of education at Miftahul Khoir Integrated Islamic Senior High School is integrated well, and appropriate to The Unity of Knowledge theory, including the policy, the personnel, the curriculum, facilities and structures, the financial, and also the assessment system. Berbagai macam kebijakan pendidikan telah dikembangkan untuk mencapai tujuan nasional tersebut, termasuk kebijakan manajemen pendidikan Islam. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui manajemen kebijakan program pendidikan, manajemen pendidik dan tenagakependidikan, manajemen kurikulum dan perencanaan pembelajaran, manajemen pembelajaran, manajemen sarana prasarana, manajemen pembiayaan, dan manajemen sistem penilaian, khususnya di SMA Islam Terpadu Miftahul Khoir. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif-deskriptif, pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, manajemen pendidikan Islam SMA Islam Terpadu Miftahul Khoir bersifat terpadu sesuai dengan teori The Unity of Knowledge, yang meliputi kebijakan program pendidikannya, personel sekolahnya, kurikulumnya, sarana dan prasarana, keuangannya, dan juga sistem penilaiannya.Kata Kunci: Kepribadian Islam, Manajemen Pendidikan Islam, Pendidikan Islam.

Abstract

The quality of Islamic Religion Education textbooks is still considered to be minimum. It has not been effective yet and been less valuable for pre-teacher students in teacher training and education university. This research aims to develop the PAI textbook based on characters education and nationalist soul in order to reduce radicalization towards religious understanding. Research method used in this research was research and development. The subjects and objects of this paper were PAI textbook and students of STKIP Al-Hikmah Surabaya. The data collected were analyzed both qualitatively and quantitatively. The results show that the book meets the needs of pre-teacher students. The students’ responses towards the effectiveness, the quality, the standardization, and the value of developed PAI Textbook products is higher than the old book. The newest handbook average percentage is 85% compared to the old book, which shows 50% in percentage. This book is very valid and worth to use. The results of joint validation according to the expert reviewers and the students indicate that this book is suitable to use and it is categorized as "Very Good" which has 4.32 or 86% percentage in average score.Buku Ajar Pendidikan Agama Islam masih memiliki kualitas standar minimal, belum efektif, dan kurang bernilai tambah bagi calon pendidik di perguruan tinggi keguruan dan ilmu pendidikan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan Buku Ajar PAI berbasis pendidikan karakter dan jiwa nasionalis sebagai upaya deradikalisasi pemahaman agama. Metode penelitian menggunakan penelitian dan pengembangan. Subjek dan obyek penelitian adalah Buku Ajar PAI dan mahasiswa STKIP Al-Hikmah Surabaya. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis secara kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa buku ini memenuhi kebutuhan calon pendidik. Nilai rata-rata respon mahasiswa terhadap efektifitas, kualitas, standarisasi, dan nilai tambah produk buku PAI baru lebih tinggi daripada buku lama. Persentase skor rata-rata buku baru 85%,  lebih tinggi daripada buku lama 50%. Buku ini juga sangat valid dan layak untuk digunakan. Hasil validasi menurut pakar ahli dan mahasiswa menunjukkan buku ini layak digunakan dengan predikat “Sangat Baik” dengan skor rata-rata 4,32 atau persentase 86%.
