Abstract

This study aims to analyze the planning of the learning process of taḥsīn and taḥfīẓ Al-Qur'an in Annajah Bekasi Islamic Elementary School (SD), as well as the constraints in the learning process. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative type. Primary data sources were taken from several respondents, namely school principals, curriculum departments, and representatives of taḥsīn and taḥfīẓ teachers randomly. Secondary data sources are from the Al-Qur'an, hadith, journals, books, and others. The background that prompted this research is that Annajah Bekasi Islamic Elementary School (SD) is an elementary level education institution that has serious concern for learning the Qur'an with the Nurul Bayan Method and the Asy-Syafi'i Method. The results of this study are: (1) the planning of the learning process for taḥsīn and taḥfīẓ Al-Qur'an in Annajah Bekasi Islamic Elementary School (SD) is generally neat and orderly according to the learning design model of Dick and Carrey (1985 ), which consists of 10 (ten) systematic learning steps, starting from identifying general learning objectives to designing and carrying out summative evaluations, and (2) some obstacles in the learning process of taḥsīn and taḥfīẓ Al-Qur'an in Annajah Bekasi Islamic Elementary School (SD), among others, that there are students who stammer in reading the Qur'an, lack mastery of the rules of recitation, do not recognize hijā'iyyah letters, and lack motivation in learning. The difference with previous studies is that the focus of the discussion in this research is more broadly related to the analysis of planning the learning process of taḥsīn and taḥfīẓ Al-Qur'an, as well as obstacles in the learning process at Annajah Bekasi Islamic Elementary School (SD) in under the auspices of the Ministry of Education and Culture by using the learning design model Dick and Carrey (1985) as an analytical knife, and the method used refers to the Nurul Bayan Method and the Asy-Syafi'i Method.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to find out the issue of polygamy in the household, whether it has implications for causing household polemics or not, what are the main factors that cause polemics on the issue of polygamy, and how to deal with the issue. Issues are news circulating in social relations. In the issue there is information that can be true and can be false. The ability to sort information could prevent conflict. This research uses a descriptive analysis research type with a qualitative approach. The results: (1) the issue of polygamy that was not true had ever happened to the Prophet Ṣallá Allāh ʻalayhi wa-sallam, and also the issue of polygamy plans had ever happened to Ali bin Abi Talib Raḍī Allāh ʻanhu with the daughter of Abu Jahal was proven to be true, (2) polemic factors after the issue of the polygamy of Rasulullah Ṣallá Allāh ʻalayhi wa-sallam was motivated by jealousy and indications of a haste to believe the news, as well as the rejection of Rasulullah Ṣallá Allh ʻalayhi wa-sallam regarding Ali bin Abi Talib Raḍī Allāh ʻanhu’s polygamy plan was an attempt to cover up slander against the religion of Fatimah Raḍī Allāh ʻanhā , (3) the issue of polygamy can have implications for causing polemics in the household, (4) clarification and tabayun play an important role so that there are no wrong attitudes and can also reduce conflict from issues.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to discuss the marriage agreement, especially the agreement not to be polygamous according to Mazhab Syafii and positive law in Indonesia. Marriage is a way for humans to channel their biological desires from a path that is in accordance with Islamic law. In marriage itself, Allah also regulates the law of polygamy, namely that a man may marry a wife with a maximum limit of 4 people. However, in reality, not all women or wives want to be polygamous, so they take precautions to make a marriage agreement before carrying out the contract so as not to be polygamous. The research method used is qualitative research. The type of research used is the literature review method, so that the data sources used are sourced from relevant documents. The results of this study are a marriage agreement in the form of a prospective wife not wanting to be polygamized by a prospective husband, when the marriage has taken place, the scholars in the Syafii Mazhab consider the agreement invalid even though the marriage is valid with the consequence of canceling the mahr that has been determined before the contract and the wife only gets mahr mitsl, while in positive law in Indonesia the agreement is permissible, as long as the agreement is agreed upon by both parties, both the male party (prospective husband) and the female party (prospective wife) and does not harm third parties. However, if after the marriage the agreement is violated, then the wife has the right to file a marriage annulment or make it a reason for a divorce suit to the Religious Court.

Abstract

This research aims to describe an analysis about Diglossia or the difference between Classical Arabic (fuṣḥā) texts and the other dialect in the conversation material or hiwar contained in the MSA book by E. Schulz. This research takes the library research from the qualitative approach as its method. Modern Standard Arabic (MSA)- in current eras- is the literary standard and one of the six official languages of the United Nations. And most printed material by the Arab League—including most books, newspapers, magazines, official documents, and reading primers for small children—is written in Modern Standard Arabic. However, the exigencies of modernity have led to the adoption of numerous terms. Speakers of Modern Standard Arabic do not always observe the intricate rules of Classical Arabic grammar (fuṣḥā). Modern Standard Arabic principally differs from Classical Arabic in three areas: lexicon, stylistics, and certain innovations on the periphery that are not strictly regulated by the classical authorities. The results from this research are (1) The examples of Diglossia founded in the selection of vocabulary as well as from the writing system and the chosen vocabularies; (2) then on grammatical arrangements that deviate far from the standard Arabic grammar which may be due to influences from foreign languages that have been absorbed by some dialects. And (3) The third differences saw in phonology. The differences in the pronunciation of some letters are clearly heard in the audio of the conversation. The impact is that if a student does not know the difference phoneme system it will be difficult for him to identify the word and understand the meaning of the material in the book.

Abstract

Lingkungan merupakan sebuah ruang yang menjadi tempat manusia eksis mengembangkan potensi. Dalam pendidikan Islam, lingkungan yang baik merupakan sebuah lingkungan di dalamnya terdapat aktivitas yang diridhoi Allah dan Rasul-Nya. Seperti; lingkungan sekolah atau madrasah untuk belajar ilmu yang bermanfaat, masjid untuk ibadah, majelis taklim untuk menyebarkan ajaran Islam, dan lingkungan masyarakat yang islami. Sedangkan lingkungan yang buruk merupakan lingkungan yang di dalamnya dilakukan hal yang mendatangkan murka Allah dan Rasul-Nya, lingkungan yang dijadikan tempat melakukan kemaksiatan dan kemungkaran. Dalam tulisan ini akan dipaparkan tentang “Lingkungan Pendidikan Perspektif Imam Ibnu Jamaah”, melalui bukunya yang fenomenal Tadzkirah al-Sami’ wa al-Mutakallim fi Adab al-‘Alim wa al-Muta’allim. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif noninteraktif karena sumber datanya adalah berupa dokumen-dokumen, bukan data langsung dari orang dalam lingkungan alamiahnya. Adapun analisis data yang digunakan adalah Content analisis, yaitu penelitian yang bersifat pembahasan mendalam terhadap isi suatu informasi tertulis. Imam Ibnu Jamaah dalam Tadzkirah al-Sami’ wa al-Mutakallim fi Adab al-‘Alim wa al-Muta’allim menyebutkan beberapa hal yang berkaitan dengan lingkungan pendidikan terdapat dua, yaitu Pertama Lingkungan Sekolah mencakup: 1) memilih madrasah (sekolah) yang paling baik untuk belajar, 2) memilih guru yang memiliki sifat yang mulia, 3) bersikap hati-hati untuk menjaga situasi dan kondisi sekolah, 4) memperhatikan hak jalan sekolah, dan 5) semangat datang ke majelis di awal waktu. Adapun yang kedua, lingkungan masyarakat mencakup: 1) tidak terlalu sibuk dengan bergaul dan berinteraksi, 2) memuliakan saudara-saudaranya sesama pencari ilmu dan menyayangi mereka, 3) memilih teman yang paling baik ilmu dan agamanya, dan 4) menjaga pandanga mata.

Abstract

This study aims to find out how to teach Arabic grammar to non-Arabic speakers according to the basis of presenting the material and its relationship to reading skill. The research methodology used by the researchers is the qualitative approach, and the type of research is library research. The sources of data for this research are the book Education by Mahmoud Yunus and books, articles or University journals related to research and analysis. The researchers used the method of analyzing the content of the texts, and the background that drives the researchers to complete this research is what the researchers found that the students saw Arabic grammar as one of the most difficult Arabic subjects and the fact that teachers are not good at managing education, as they do not teach Arabic grammar on the basis of recitation. Good education, and the basis for delivering the subject: 1) From the tangible to the intelligible, 2) From the known to the unknown, 3) From examples to rules or definitions, 4) From simple to complex progression. The application of this basis in teaching Arabic grammar is: 1) Defining the noun and knowledge by mentioning the sign, not defining them terminologically, using visual teaching aids when teaching the hidden pronoun, 2) Restricting the study of annulants to the nominal sentence in teaching grammar and restricting the teaching of the direct and the direct to the verbal and nominal sentences, 3) Using the inductive method and modified texts in teaching grammar, morphology, and rhetoric, 4) mentioning the singular before the compound, and using the functional theory and teaching grammar before rhetoric, that reading skill is due to recognition and understanding, which are related to the student’s proficiency in Arabic grammar.

Abstract

This study aims to describe (1) the problems of learning Arabic caused by the heterogeneity of the educational background of the students, (2) the problems experienced by non-Islamic boarding school students in the learning process and their efforts to achieve the target of learning Arabic, and (3) the efforts teachers address the problems that occur in the process of learning Arabic. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative type. The subjects in this study were two Ma'had Al Ihsan Surabaya teachers and six new students. The background of this research is that there are problems experienced by several new students of Ma'had Al Ihsan Surabaya, especially non-Islamic boarding school students, in the process of learning Arabic in class. The results showed that (1) the various educational backgrounds of the students greatly influenced the level of quality of their understanding of Arabic lessons (2) the constraints of non-Islamic boarding school students in mastering Arabic, which consisted of factors of interest, educational background, difficulties in adjusting, delays in learning, lack of confidence, laziness and anxiety. As for the efforts made by non-Islamic boarding school students to be able to achieve the target of learning Arabic, namely studying with friends and increasing study time outside class hours (3) efforts made by ustadz to strengthen students' ability to speak, namely forming study groups both in class and outside outside of class, holding additional classes, holding additional activities every Saturday morning, giving additional assignments and creating a mandatory environment in Arabic.

Abstract

In Islamic law, knowing one's lineage and preserving it plays a crucial role, as lineage occupies the fourth position among the five necessities (al-ḍaruriyyat al-khamsa). Without knowing the lineage relationship, it would be difficult for us to identify an individual and prevent someone from falsely claiming a lineage. This research aims to explore the virtuous values inherent in Islamic law concerning kinship relations. Furthermore, what is its relevance to axiology within the realm of philosophical inquiry? These questions are intriguing for investigation. To achieve this objective, the researcher adopts a qualitative descriptive methodology, where the data collection involves a literature review method focusing on relevant sources related to the problem being discussed. The findings of this study indicate that: (1) Lineage refers to kinship relationships, which come in various forms. (2) Axiology in philosophy studies value-related matters, encompassing ethics, aesthetics, and religion. (3) Similar to axiology, lineage holds both positive and negative values. Positive values of lineage include personal identity, honor, motivation, and exemplary behavior. On the other hand, negative values of lineage encompass sectarianism/ethnic fanaticism, arrogance, belittling other lineages, refusing to recognize other lineages, and lack of pride in one's lineage.

Abstract

The Principal’s strategy is a way to improve the competence of MI Daarul Ulum Batu Arabic teachers, which activities include planning, organizing, implementing and monitoring activities to improve the competency of teacher. At MI Daarul Ulum Batu, the school principal’s are reluctant to include Arabic teachers in training and workshops in improving their competence, instead choosing to collaborate with postgraduate Student of UIN Malang, in order to set an example and provide new ideas for teachers at the school. In analyzing data, researcher used qualitative methods with data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. There are four findings in this study. the first, planning to improve teacher competency by making Arabic model classes. Second, organizing it in collaboration with postgraduate students of UIN Malang, because with it indirectly increasing the competence of Arabic teachers. Third, the implementation of increasing the competence of Arabic teachers implementing together with students to get new innovations in learning. Fourth, supervision and evaluation is done by looking at discipline and motivating teachers to be creative and innovative in learning Arabic.

Abstract

This research is aimed at finding out the genealogy of the manhaj and ittija>h interpretations of al-Shawka>ny in the book of tafsir Fath} al-Qadi>r. Judging from the research location, type of data and research sources, this research has a qualitative research approach with the type of library research. The data sources in this research, apart from the book of interpretations of Fath} al-Qadi>r, are other books by al-Shawka>ny, as well as al-Shawka>ny's biography to get a description of life and the society around him which influenced his thinking and approach. understand the interpretation of the Koran. Al-Shawka>ny is considered a breakthrough with his thoughts which sought to free society from blind fanaticism towards one particular school of thought. After conducting research, it can be concluded that the manhaj and ittija>h interpretations of al-Shawka>ny in the book of tafsir Fath} al-Qadi>r tend to follow the interpretation methods of classical commentators such as al-Qurt}uby, al-Suyut}y, Ibn Kathi >r, al-Baghawy and Ibn Jari>r al-T{abary. The new finding obtained is Manhaj's interpretation of al-Shawka>ny in the book of tafsir Fath} al-Qadi>r, if seen from the source of the interpretation, it uses the tafsir bi al-Iqtira>n method. If we look at the systematics of the explanation, it uses systematic muqa>rin or comparative interpretation. The breadth of interpretation is the It}na>by interpretation method. Meanwhile, according to the target and sequence of the verses, it is the Tah}li>ly method of interpretation. Ittija>h interpretation of al-Shawka>ny in the book of Tafsir Fath} al-Qadi>r, of which there are several styles that dominate apart from Tafsir Lughawy, namely Tafsir Aqady and Tafsir Fiqhy. Even though al-Shawka>ny combines the methods of tafsir bi al-Ma'thu>r and tafsir bi al-Ra'y, the direction of his interpretation tends to be conservative textualist because he adheres strictly to athar, the interpretation of classical commentators and Arabic. The results of this research are useful in determining the classification of al-Shawka>ny's tafsir books as well as providing input for other researchers regarding al-Shawka>ny's thoughts and interpretive manhaj and ittija>h in general.
