Abstract

The orientation of modern Arabic learning has not been implemented optimally in accordance with the desired goals, it has been proven that it has not produced students who can master Arabic. The purpose of this research is to reveal, first: modern orientation in learning Arabic, second: challenges of learning Arabic in the modern era, and third: opportunities for the development of Arabic learning in the modern era. The design of this study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study research type. Research data is collected by reviewing books, journals and other sources relevant to the theme. Data analysis is carried out simultaneously from data collection, sorting, presentation and conclusion. The results of this study are: (1) the modern orientation in learning Arabic is characterized by making Arabic as a means of communication, teaching Arabic language skills as a whole, and learning practices are based on applied linguistic theory (2) it was found that the challenges of learning Arabic in the modern era are the lack of a complete understanding of the orientation of modern Arabic learning, the reality that Arabic language teachers have not mastered applied linguistic theory, and Arabic language learning has not been able to keep up with the development of modern technology, and (3) the opportunity for the development of Arabic language learning in the modern era is the breadth of access to information technology that can be used for learning Arabic. The conclusion of this study is that any challenge in learning Arabic can be turned into an opportunity to develop a more effective learning model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi makna semantik kontekstual kata kufr dan variasinya dalam Al-Qur'an. Meskipun banyak kajian tentang konsep kufr, pemahaman mendalam mengenai variasi dan penggunaan kata tersebut dalam konteks Al-Qur'an masih kurang. Penelitian ini penting untuk memahami nuansa semantik kufr yang memiliki implikasi teologis dan moral signifikan. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis semantik kontekstual, yang memeriksa penggunaan kata kufr dalam berbagai ayat dengan memperhatikan konteks historis, linguistik, dan sosial-budaya. Data dikumpulkan dari ayat-ayat Al-Qur'an yang mengandung kata kufr dan variannya. Setiap ayat dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi konteks penggunaan, subjek dan objek yang terlibat, serta kondisi yang melatarbelakanginya. Analisis ini didukung oleh kajian tafsir klasik dan modern untuk memperkaya pemahaman makna kufr. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kata kufr memiliki beragam makna kontekstual yang kompleks, termasuk penolakan iman, pengingkaran nikmat, tindakan tidak bersyukur, hingga penentangan aktif terhadap ajaran agama. Variasi makna ini menunjukkan bahwa kufr mencakup aspek teologis, moral, dan sosial. Pemahaman komprehensif terhadap makna semantik kontekstual kufr dalam Al-Qur'an memberikan wawasan lebih dalam mengenai pesan-pesan teologis dan moral dalam teks suci ini. Jadi, studi ini menekankan pentingnya analisis kontekstual dalam memahami kata kufr dalam Al-Qur'an. Pemahaman mendalam terhadap variasi makna kufr dapat memperkaya interpretasi teologis dan aplikasi praktis ajaran Islam dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengetahui efektivitas buku al-’arabiyah baina yadai awladina (jilid 1) untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab dengan kelas uji coba adalah kelas IX A SMP Mujahidin Surabaya tahun ajaran 2024/2025. penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian eksperimental pre-experimental design one group pretes-posttes. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu paired sample t-test dengan hipotesis H0 = Tidak terjadi peningkatan dari hasil pretest ke posttest setelah diberi tindakan, dan H1 = terjadi peningkatan dari hasil pretest ke posttest setelah diberi tindakan. Hasil penelitian diperoleh dari data pretest dan posttest menunjukkan nilai posttest siswa dengan rata-rata 80,00 lebih besar dibandingkan pretest dengan rata-rata 51,78, melalui perhitungan uji efektivitas diketahui bahwa Thitung 8,148 > Ttabel 1,771 dengan nilai sig 0,001 lebih kecil dari 0,05. Sehingga diambil kesimpulan bahwa H1 diterima dan H0 ditolak, ini artinya bahwa pembelajaran menggunakan buku al-’arabiyah baina yadai awladina (jilid 1) efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara bahasa Arab siswa kelas IX A SMP Mujahidin Surabaya. Dengan adanya simpulan tersebut, maka buku ini mampu menjadi solusi bagi para pendidik dalam meningkatkan kemampuan berbahasa Arab siswa.

Abstract

Education has a very important role in promoting the civilization of the nation. A good education can encourage the creation of a good, creative and productive society so that it can finally achieve the goals of the state. Through this Indonesian national education system, the government must be able to ensure the equitable distribution of educational opportunities, as well as the importance and efficiency of education management to meet challenges in line with the changing demands of local, national and global life. The budget allocation system for education in Indonesia is strongly influenced by government policies. The researcher used the library research method by collecting information and data with the help of various materials found in the library such as reference books, similar previous research results, articles, notes and various journals related to the problem to be solved. The research concluded that the financing of education in Indonesia through seven sources: Sources of funding from the central government from Law No. 20 of 2003 on the national education system, Article 49 "Education funds other than education salaries and official education costs are allocated at a minimum of 20% of the state budget and a minimum of 20% of the local revenue budget called the Public Allocation Fund and partially added with the Special Allocation Fund, local governments, parents of students, adoptive parents, community groups, students themselves and sources of institutions or associations.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji perspektif hukum terkait interaksi guru laki-laki yang mendengarkan suara santriwati dalam konteks pendidikan Islam. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengeksplorasi bagaimana interaksi tersebut dipandang dalam hukum Islam, khususnya mengenai apakah suara wanita dianggap sebagai aurat yang harus ditutupi. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan analisis terhadap teks-teks fikih klasik dan kontemporer, penelitian ini mengeksplorasi pandangan berbagai ulama dari beberapa mazhab. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa suara wanita tidak dianggap sebagai aurat secara mutlak, namun terdapat kondisi-kondisi tertentu yang harus dipenuhi untuk menghindari fitnah. Penelitian ini memberikan kontribusi dalam diskusi mengenai interaksi gender di lingkungan pendidikan Islam dan menawarkan panduan tentang batasan yang ditetapkan oleh syariat.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kesalahan imla' (penulisan) yang dilakukan oleh siswa kelas 10 di Pondok Pesantren Darul Muslimin Muhammadiyah. Kesalahan dalam penulisan bahasa Arab, khususnya dalam imla', seringkali ditemukan pada siswa, yang menyebabkan gangguan dalam pemahaman makna tulisan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan fokus pada kesalahan penulisan imla' siswa, yang dikumpulkan melalui tes imla', observasi, dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kesalahan penulisan terjadi dalam beberapa kategori, seperti kesalahan dalam menyambung dan memisah huruf, pengurangan huruf, penambahan huruf, perubahan huruf, serta penulisan hamzah. Penelitian ini diharapkan dapat memberikan wawasan dalam peningkatan pembelajaran bahasa Arab, terutama dalam mengurangi kesalahan imla' pada siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the content of the book Nahwu Waḍih Volume 1 by Ali al-Jarimi and Musthafa Amin published by Maktabah al-Lughawiyah, Beirut-Lebanon, based on the standards of the Ministry of National Education in 2006 and 2008 as well as the principles of learning Arabic according to Ahmad Rusydi Thu'aimah. The research method used is a literature study with a qualitative approach, using descriptive content analysis techniques. For data analysis techniques, this study applies the Krippendorff content analysis method. The results of the study show that in general, the Nahwu Waḍih book has fulfilled the principles of preparing teaching materials according to the standards of the Ministry of National Education, such as the principles of consistency, relevance, and adequacy. However, there are some inconsistencies in the book regarding the principle of gradation. In the first chapter, this book directly discusses the jumlat al-mufīdah (perfect sentence) before explaining the basic parts of a sentence, such as the meaning and characteristics of isim, fi'il, and letters, as well as how students know how to distinguish them. This is contrary to the principle of gradation which prioritizes the arrangement of material from easy to difficult, from simple to complex, or from concrete to abstract. Meanwhile, in the Thu'aimah standard, namely the principles of validity, meaningfulness, feasibility, and global. In general, it has not been completed, because, in the principle of meaningfulness and material globalization, there is still a need for improvement. Therefore, this study recommends improvements in the aspects of gradation, meaningfulness, and globalization to be more in line with the principles of the preparation of ideal teaching materials, so that it is more useful in making Arabic teaching materials in the future.

Abstract

Hadits adalah setiap apapun yang disandarkan kepada Nabi Muhammad Shollallahu alaihi wasallam baik perkataan, perbuatan, keputusan, ataupun sifat. Kitab Bulughul Maram merupakan rujukan bagi kaum muslimin yang ingin mengetahui tentang hukum-hukum fiqih secara praktis, adapun Penguasaan materi diambil dari kata kuasa yang artinya mampu, kemampuan, hak menjalankan sesuatu, mandat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelidiki pengaruh dari pembelajaran hadits-hadits ahkam dalam kitab Bulughul Maram terhadap penguasaan materi mahasiswa Ilmu Hadits di STDI Imam Syafi'i Jember. Metode yang digunakan adalah pendekatan kuantitatif. Populasi yang menjadi fokus penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa Ilmu Hadits di STDI Imam Syafi'i Jember. Sebanyak 30 responden dipilih dengan metode simple random sampling. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan teknik regresi linier sederhana dengan bantuan perangkat lunak SPSS versi 23. Hasil penelitian ini tidak menunjukkan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap penguasaan materi mahasiswa Ilmu Hadits di STDI Imam Syafi’i Jember. Besarnya pengaruh dari pelajaran hadits-hadits ahkam pada kitab Bulughul Maram terhadap penguasaan materi mahasiswa Ilmu Hadits STDI Imam Syafi’i Jember hanya sebesar 8,1%. Abstract

This study aims to explore the process of naming and classifying surahs in the Qur'an that has been done by scholars in the branch of ‘ulu>m Al-Qur’an. It will also examine the naming and translation of Surah Ash-Shu'ara into a musician's Surah and its implications based on the rules of translation and tafsir. This research uses a qualitative approach with the type of library research. The data sources of this research are books in the field of ‘ulu>m Al-Qur’an and books of tafsir. The Muslim community in Indonesia has understood that the Qur'an consists of 114 letters, each of which has a special name and its meaning from the translation of the Al-Qur'an Mushaf. Until in 2024 there was a discussion about the name of a letter in the Qur'an that was translated differently from what was written in the translation of the Qur'an in general. This happened when Surah al-Syu'ara in the translation of the Mushaf was translated as the poets, then translated as the letter of the musicians. Suddenly, this provoked an uproar in the community, especially in the digital era where news circulates quickly (viral). The result of this study is that the naming of letters in the Qur'an is divided into two, namely tawqi>fy and ijtiha>dy. There are three main patterns of naming surahs in the Qur'an, namely based on the Prophet's orders, the ijtihad of the Companions and based on the beginning of the verse. The translation of Surah Ash-Shu'ara into Surah of Musicians does not fulfill the rules of translation or tafsir because poetry and music are two different things in essence and in the meaning of translation in the dictionary, neither textually nor contextually can be equated. The translation of the word Ash-Shu'ara as musicians will damage the meaning of the verses in the Qur'an and can be categorized as tah}ri>f and includes tafsir bi al-ra'y al-madhmu>m or interpretation by reasoning that is denounced.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of ex officio authority exercised by judges in the Religious Court, based on Decision Number 1323/Pdt.G/2024/PA.Jr from the Jember Religious Court. The main issue addressed is how the court ensures the protection of women’s and children’s financial rights after divorce, even without a formal request from the wife. The urgency of this study lies in the importance of ensuring substantive justice for vulnerable parties within the Islamic family law system in Indonesia. This research employs a qualitative descriptive-analytical method with a normative juridical approach. Data is collected from legal documents, court decisions, relevant legislation, and academic literature. The analytical technique utilizes an interpretative method with a legal hermeneutic approach to understand the dynamics of ex officio authority application in divorce cases. The study’s findings indicate that the court exercises ex officio authority to determine financial obligations, including iddah maintenance of Rp3,000,000, mut’ah of Rp10,000,000, and child maintenance of Rp1,500,000 per month with an annual increase of 10%. This decision reflects the judge’s proactive role in balancing legal principles and social justice with economic conditions. Additionally, this study analyzes the implications of ex officio decisions in shaping legal precedents in religious courts, particularly in divorce cases. In conclusion, ex officio decisions play a crucial role in achieving justice and protection for vulnerable parties in family law cases. These rulings are not solely based on positive law but also consider substantive justice and the well-being of affected parties. Therefore, the ex officio mechanism can serve as an effective legal instrument in strengthening legal protection for women and children after divorce.
